El ruido. En la segunda noche una huésped comenzó a cantar a las 3 de la mañana y no la callaron. Al siguiente día llego un grupo de estudiantes y no controlaron el ruido. Dos dias consecutivos me estuvieron tocando la puerta en la noche

La habitación estaba deteriorada, muy pequeño el cuarto y estaba sucio, e intentaron abrirme la puerta, al parecer le dieron la misma habitación a otro huésped.

A los baños les falta ventilación, se queda oliendo a humedad y se esparce a todo el cuarto. Entiendo que el hotel ya es antiguo y quieran mantener el toque rústico, pero le hace falta renovación en varias cosas, aunque esté limpio, se llega a ver sucio por lo mismo. La habitación es un tanto pequeña

Reviewed Jul 13, 2025The location was perfect for one who wanted to be near the town square. The room was very simple. My only complaint is that the hot water (to shower) was not left on while my stay. I had to call to let them know when I’d need it turned on. The front desk also needs more welcoming and attentive employees-suggestion. Sometimes nobody was present or a stare was all we got when we would arrive for the night.

Reviewed Nov 25, 2023Lo único que no me agrado fue la cama muy incómoda y super ruidosa ya que tiene base de madera y las almohadas son mucho menos que cojines ya muy aplastados sin ningún soporte o comodidad, si mejorarán este aspecto sería mucho mejor calificación en general.

Te engañan diciendo que tú habitación tiene vista a la calle y te dan una interior. Cortan el agua caliente, debes pedir que la pongan. La pantalla de TV deja mucho que desear. Prefieren pagos en efectivo y obstaculizan facturar. Vi a varios huéspedes reclamar por cobros cancelados y no reembolsados. No hay internet en l habitación y es un problema para que te compartan la clave Wifi

Reviewed Feb 18, 2023Love the location of the hotel across from the 2 main Markets. 20 the Noviembre Market were all the delicious food you can find at a very good price. Across is the Mercado Benito Juarez where you can find all the best Artesanias of the region. The Hotel had its charm, It’s an old, but they are working in renovations. location is perfect right in the center of Oaxaca. The ladies working there were very nice to us and answered all our questions. My only complaint was the hard bed. I book the hotel for one day and 4 days after my stay not knowing the bed was hard. I had to stay in the hotel because my stay was non-refundable, but I am happy our next room was much nicer and the bed not as hard as our first stay. I really recommend this hotel. I really love it.

The beds have no mattress just a hard base. Very uncomfortable. The bar opposite is really noisy ALL the time. The staff are sullen and you don't get a glance or nod...let alone a greeting. There is no lift so be ready to carry heavy luggage up stairs. There are much nicer places in the same block.

Lots of traffic noice early in the morning due to central location. Beds are SUPER hard, no bounce or cushion to them at all. We had issues with having hot water, the shower curtains do not go all the way down to the bottom of the shower, so the water gets out and you have a super wet bathroom floor. No iron, hair dryer or coffee maker. The man working the counter on the Night Shift was a little rude when we would ask for help. You get no extra towels, even if you use them to dry the water coming out of the shower.

Reviewed Nov 9, 2022Pros: Location was brilliant! I was going to stay further out but with the heat etc. It really pays to be right in the center. The room was always cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No AC but big fan in room and the evenings are cooler anyway.
Cons: Hard bed and VERY low powered shower, but hot. What you would expect from that star hotel. Only thing I think the hotel could change for cheap is the pillows, very lumpy and old, please get new ones!

Liked the location close to zocalo and price was about right for hotel. Very basic stuff. If you like comfy sheets, hot water on demand, and aircon, not the place to be. If this is where you come to clean up and crash, it's great.
