La ubicación excelente, se llega fácil a todo. Las habitaciones comodas de acuerdo al precio. En la habitación no me tocó ruido del exterior, así que excelente.

Pros- • Central location for exploring the area • In an historic building

Cons- • The room felt dirty and outdated • They had extremely poor wi-fi-even though our room was on the ground floor, right next to the router • No English was spoken at reception - NONE! • They covered their drains with plastic covers (having lived in Asia-we know these are to stop cockroaches coming up the drains) but we were told they were to stop the smells from the drains! There were cockroaches so we left the bathroom lights on all night, closed the door and put a towel across the bottom to stop them getting into the bedroom while we slept. Because of this, we stayed out late to reduce our time in the room! • The bathroom was so small, especially the separate toilet area and felt unclean-I always wore flip flops in these areas • There was NO acknowledgement of you as a guest (with greetings) once you had checked in • The staff were disinterested and unprofessional • The towels were old, no longer white and scratchy • The entire hotel is grimy, outdated and unloved • There is rooftop area which is depressing as nobody uses it and it appears to have a become a dumping ground • Our room was on the ground floor, facing the street, so it could be loud at times with people passing by or lingering near the hotel. Even in the hotel you could hear everything around and the people in the other rooms.

La ubicación es excelente. Además tiene una terraza con café de cortesía que nos ofrecieron. La cama es cómoda y la tele muy chula. El hotel es muy bonito con mucho encanto. Además teníamos gel champú suavizante y secador de pelo, lo cual se agradece.

La habitación estaba llena de mosquitos. Tenía unas “cortinas” por las que, a las 6:30am, te atravesaba un rayo como si fuese una aparición de la virgen María (muy presente en la habitación). Adjunto fotos.

La ubicació és perfecte. Està aprop del centre en una zona molt tranquil·la. La relació qualitat-preu és excel·lent. A cinc minuts a peu del centre històric i de tots els restaurants.

Com a esmorzar només ofereixen un cafè de cortesia. No tenen caixa forta a l’habitació.

The hotel is in a lovely location, very close to the city centre. The room and the beds were very comfortable, and we really liked the cosy seating areas and the hotel’s lovely terrace, where you can have a coffee or tea in the morning, have a chat or check your emails.

La principale qualité est sa localisation. Le personnel est également très sympathique. Possibilité de réserver un taxi (même en urgence).

Plusieurs chambres sans fenêtres. Établissement un peu vétuste notamment la salle de bain. Rapport qualité-prix à revoir.

You cannot beat the location or the quirkiness. It is one block from Santo Domingo. I could walk most places. There is an active nightlife all around. The property has lots of charm. I first had a room with a window that looked out on an air shaft and when a room in the back of the hotel became available I was able to change. Showers were great. The staff at the desk were kind, lovely and very helpful.

It needs a little more maintenance attention. Low water pressure in the sinks and toilets. The wonderful window I had was very hard to open. Some walls show water leakage from some place.

Hotel carino e molto ben posizionato nel centro storico, Il servizio lascia a desiderare in quanto alla reception ci sono dei ragazzi che non sembrano avere una formazione vera e propria e nella stanza, dopo la pulizia, ho trovato il pigiama collocato sulla valigia (uno dei luoghi meno igenici...). Il giudizio complessivo tuttavia resta positivo per un hotel 3 stelle.

The hotel has everything you expect when traveling for pleasure: perfect location, cozy atmosphere, nice and attentive staff, clean and comfortable room, good bathroom and shower. What shines however is how nice is the staff at the reception. I had the opportunity to interact with three persons, all of them always trying to be useful to my demands. Thank you guys, I left the property fully satisfied.

Wifi in the room works perfectly but not as much at the reception, when someone always need to check the reservation, things like that. It was probably something temporary and wont never hurt the great experience I had at the hotel.

La UBICACIÓN!!! Es excelente y ayuda mucho que no se encuentra en el centro de los lugares donde realizan bloqueos (quien ha visitado ese lugar con ese pequeño detalle sabe de que hablo). Una maravilla

Las habitaciones son pequeñas y solo tuvimos un tema con el aire acondicionado de una de ellas que no enfriaba pero si hicieron los ajustes para que funcionara un poco mejor

The location is great.

The bathroom has many issues, toilet does not flush properly, the bathroom faucet barely runs, shower is weak. When you are paying more than a 100 GBP per night, you expect the bathroom to work properly.

Loved the location close to central part of historic centre of Oaxaca but quiet rooms. Alejandro was amazing host - Very helpful & great restaurant & activity recommendations. Lovely rooftop area for morning coffee/tea.

That the bedrooms only ‘window’ was covered, faced into reception area & wasn’t able to be opened for fresh air. Would have also appreciated access to tea/coffee making at times other than first thing in the morning.

The hotel has a great location and the staff were friendly. There was a nice rooftop area with coffee in the morning that adds to the overall experience. My room faced the main street, which made it noisier than I would have liked.

You can hear everything from your room, especially if you get one in the 1st floor. Also if you are more than 1.80 check for another room, the bed was pretty small

Great location, everything on our itinerary was within walking distance. Friendly, Helpful staff. Gabriella in particular was very helpful and friendly.

Location is ideal, just steps from the Santo Domingo area, but on a quieter side street, minimal noise inside. The property has an overall nice character but could use some updating. The rooftop terrace and free coffee is nice. Rooms were kept clean daily.

No major complaints, but the quality of the rooms and amenities are rather basic for the price. The listing said our room would have a microwave and minibar but it did not. Staff were cordial and available when needed but didn’t really go out of their way, were usually just behind the desk on their cellphones, not the best impression.

The staff was friendly. We arrived a few hours before checking, but they let us store our bags at the the front office. Wile the room was getting ready. The room was great. Bathroom was great. Had water jar and glass for us.

Only one thing if I have to say. In the shower where you place the shampoo conditioner bodywash. The bottom fell out and the containers fell. But that's it.

Que pongan cuadros de un cristo en las habitaciones y que no tengan room service.. Ya que no cuentan con restaurante pero se podria utilizar perfectamente la terraza para poder comer un snack sencillo , algun refresco

The location is excellent for exploring the centre of Oaxaca. Despite the proximity to the centre the room was pretty quiet at night as we were at the back of the hotel. The room was well serviced.

The bathroom is extremely small making it difficult to close the door and there was nowhere to put our stuff or to hang up towels.

Full of character ,quirky layout and decoration. Staff helpful and welcoming, Great location right up near the cathedral within a few minutes walk of the main tourist areas . We had a deluxe double which was great with a little private balcony seating area, huge super king bed and nicely decorated bathroom. Quiet and cool within and even though central it is located on a quiet side street. Plenty of breakfast options from right outside the door.

We had no problems or dislikes but there are a couple of things that could affect others. It is a very old building in an old part of town which we loved but there are a lot of stairs with twists and turns to get up to second floor. Not a problem for us but could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Toilet paper could not be flushed and had to be put in small bin which is emptied daily when the room was serviced. This is not unusual in most of the older hotel buildings around Oaxaca due to the ancient sewer system and we had experienced it it other places.

The location was great to explore Oaxaca, close to everything and very walkable. Felt very safe in this area as a solo traveller the room and bathroom were a good size.

Muy cerca de Santo Domingo y rápido acceso a las zona centro y zona peatonal, a la vez retirado del bullicio, se descanso bien, y estaba seguro los alrededores, habitación de buen tamaño y comida.

Klimatyczny hotel z ładnym wystrojem wnętrz. Personel był bardzo miły i pomocny. Na górze hotelu duży taraz na którym można posiedzieć.

This is a great property and super friendly staff, I would stay again. Its in a great location walkable to pretty much all over the central. Did not notice any noice especially during Dia de Muertos. Only thing to mention wifi was not string where our room was, it was strong at the front door but not in the bed room but it was not mandatory for us since prefer without network especially in Oaxaca.

no hay desayunos. solo cafe y te, para eso hay que subir todas las escaleras, estaria ideal en planta baja, por nosotros de la tercera edad. no hay convenio de estacionamiento.

UBICACION MUY BUENA

El alojamiento impecable, de limpieza, ubicación y con una terraza excepcional en la parte superior. El personal, súper amable y acogedor nos ayudó a planificar las excursiones alrededor de la capital, a conseguir un taxi para el aeropuerto, etc. incluso nos ayudaron con las explicaciones para poder seguir los desfiles de la Guelaguetza .

Our stay was great. Very clean and very spacious rooms. The only negative was the wifi, but overall nice hotel.

This was a really wonderful and gorgeous little hotel within a stones throw from the plaza of Santa Domingo cathedral. It has a lovely roof-top terrace to enjoy cool evening breezes with views over the town. It is close to restaurants and other sites of interest. The hotel patron/host was really friendly and helpful and communicated well in English. I would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money!

Not coffe-bar at late night

Fantastic location just a block away from the Santo Domingo Church and the Museo de las Culturas. Across the street is the pricey but very good Tierra del Sol restaurant and a block further was Pan:am Abosolo where we had very good breakfast. The hotel was very quaint, decorated with church items. They did not serve breakfast at the hotel but there is coffee on the terrace and a microwave. On our first morning, we had an early start for a tour, so we got bread and pastries at Tierra del Sol and had them with coffee at the terrace. Alejandro and his team were very accommodating.

The bed was a bit too high, it was kind of difficult for me to get on it, but it was comfortable.

The property was in an excellent location with easy walking access to restaurants, shopping and churches. The decor of the property was religious which was very comforting. The rooms were all unique and we loved the roof terrace with the coffee and tea bar and comfortable patio tables. Our king suite also had its own terrace with a patio tables and umbrella. The bathroom was also very nice in our room. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and there were front desk staff available all day.

The only drawback for this visit and it wasn’t a bad thing is that they are remodeling some of the guest suites so there was construction noise and dust during the day while we were staying there. The good news is that on our next visit, we will have more nice rooms to choose from.

We got a no window room Nos dieron una habitación sin ventana, con una puerta que no aísla y adicionalmente una baño demasiado pequeño. Poco amable la gerencia para ayudar con el check in.
