In walking distance of where I wanted to go and was actually pretty clean .
Some couple i think living there sweating and spitting.
The only thing we liked about our stay was how close we were to the town and the sea front.
The photos that are advised in this listing are definitely not what you get at this hotel, I booked this for myself, daughter and grandson for 1 night. On arrival to Topaz we had to collect our keys from a sister hotel 8 doors up the road, The Calypso Hotel and had to pay a £20 key deposit which wasn't mentioned on booking.com, Our room they gave us was very very dirty, left over noodles on the floor dust all round edges of the flooring the flooring could do with ripping out it was well worn, open empty milk pod left on side, my grandson started crying saying I can't sleep in here!!!! So we went back to show photos of the room we should have had compared to what was given to us, we explained how dirty the room was we didn't get any apology the manager???? Just said we have a posh room in another hotel Tower Central you can have for the night, so was shown this room it was cleaner with carpet I would rate this 5 out of 10 there was a very strong sewerage smell coming from the bathroom which was very unpleasant. All in all I would never stop there again.
Nothing
Everything dirty no clean towels no cleaner floors were black not been swept
The location was excellent - very close to the centre & tower. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable.
The hotel is very tired and could do with upgrading.
Location is good especially for winter gardens.
The cost was high, my friends were in a different B&B and paid just over half what I paid. I visited it with them and it was just as good which suggestes to me that I was overcharged. I also ALWAYS filter on booking .com for breakfast included. But when I arrived I was told I was room only...
Hotel staff were very helpfull cos my boyfriend and myself couldnt carry our luggage down the stairs so the man behind reception carried it to thr car for us. Its location was very close to ecerywhere we wanted to gp. We are definately going to go there again. We have booked to go back again in November. The room was the ldeal size for the 2 of us.
It would have been better if we had a winfow that opened wider cos it was so warm in the room.
The location was brilliant
Nothing like the pictures, door kept rattling sounding like it was going to open, neighbours shouting back and forth to eachother, walls all stained, roof outside our room was falling down, full bin bags on stairs
Breakfast was nice
Room was absoulty scorching red hot . We were provided with fans but I think maybe need to think about air con ! The room wasn't cleaned proper . The bathroom smelt . Outside the room the carpets were so dirty and there was mold up n down the stairs . 165 for 2 night was a bit expensive .
Very close to where we needed to be
Staff on holiday so had to deal with sister hotel
Staff were so friendly and accomadating. Adam was a great manager and host. We were given complimentary breakfast on our last 2 mornings. Which was yum. A great choice and spotlessly clean and no waiting. Everything hot and very tasty
Bed bit hard on the back , that's it. 😆
Doesn’t look like the picture
When we arrived there was someone sat on the step in nightwear drunken had scaffolding up the building and it was a place where the council place homeless ppl and u had to collect keys from a complete different hotel we did not stay in this hotel ended up getting something else
The room was quite big and spacious. Bottled water was supplied to make a hot drink, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate supplied. The chocolates and biscuits also a nice touch. We loved having the fridge in the room. Kept our drinks and milk lovely & cold
The noisy metal frame bed
This hotel is disgusting. All the dirty bedding was piled up outside our room and we noticed it was crawling with bugs. See photos. We checked straight back out immediately. Despite contacting the hotel and booking.com we are yet to receive a refund. Its dirty, bug infested and stinks.
The staff were so lovely and accommodating to our needs. Location is brilliant as my mum cant walk too far.
Next to everything
Nothing, it was awful, it smelt of wee and smoke, I didn’t stay
It smelt awful The customer service was shocking The rooms were awful, no privacy, a shower in the middle of the room not in a bathroom
Ubicazione ottima a due passi avevi tutto.
Disabled access to first floor a plus! Indian restaurant next door also a plus. Lovely food, great breakfast and friendly staff.
Location
Needed a little TLC
Dobra lokalizacja
Nothing! I would give this a 0 if i could!
We booked this hotel and didnt even stay! The hotel smelt strongly of weed. The old building must have ussues as the room was on an obvious tilt! It was cold! The polystyrene square ceiling were all lift up leaving holes in the ceiling. When getting suitcases out of car someone shouting out of window to someone on the street, turns out they were on about drugs! Did not feel safe at all. We got in the car and went to book somewhere else.
The room and ensuite were fine and the bed was comfortable.
There were some very inconsiderate guests who were moving about all throughout the night, slamming their doors, talking in the hallway etc. One morning at 5 am there was a big argument going on. The next morning around 5am someone played their music. Whilst there is staff at the property their bedrooms are in the basement, which meant they were oblivious. There was a phone number to call, but I was worried about repercussions and felt somewhat vulnerable as a lone female. I ended up leaving a night earlier than planned as I couldn't face another sleepless night.
Bit noisy
Very noisy in the night
Very pleasant experience staff member pleasant smooth check in . Good value for money good location would return .
N-A
Awful experience, the room was unclean, and the toilet flush did not work. I reported this several times, but no action was taken. Please be careful; never choose this hotel. It was like hell.
I did not like anything.
Christmas Lunch at the Namestey Restaurant was incredible. The staff were great, a refrigerator was dropped in the on the day we arrived (and they accomodated early arrival), the cleaning team were active throughout the stay. Room 4 is a perfect size and the view of the tower is wonderful.
We have stayed a lot at the Topaz and it has always had an amazing heart to it, I don't know what has changed but it didn't have that same feel. There needs to be a mat for the floor of the bathroom for getting out of the shower, the bathroom door needs a check over as I got locked in and had to have my partner open it from the outside and a bedside lamp would be ideal.
Location was good for our purpose.
The property had sticky spots all over the floor like old sweets so could of been cleaner, toilet needs a upgrade as it's flush is very weak and one issue was a banging at 3am of a child running about for 2 hours but this wasn't the hotels fault.
Room was huge.
No fridge in room.
Rooms were very roomy and a lot of space, beds were extremely comfortable.Great view of blackpool tower from our window, ZERO COMPLAINTS. 100% satisfied
Nothing
The location
The cleanliness The beds The furniture The repairs

Key pickup from a different location
Very clean and the price is very good
It was in a lovely location.
The window in our room didn't open, and there was no staff on site we had to go to another hotel to check in. It was basic and did the job but is not what it describes itself to be.
Location
No bar
Easy access to town centre, rooms lovely and warm, staff brilliant
Only the pillows were a bit hard not soft and fluffy but other than that I throughly enjoyed my stay
Staff were helpful on some issues we had
Heating didnt work, beds uncomfortable, very dusty
Great location. Room was warm and the beds comfortable.
Was in an attic room didn't have a window to open.
Good location ideal for all facilities and parking,it's not the best but it's certainly not the worst,it's good and honest accomodation.
Noisy pipe work early in the morning, but every hotel ,guest house they all have quirky bits and pieces going on even the best hotels.

Lovely room, great price.
Not much room in the toilet
Location good
Excellent room especially for the price! Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom (made like a sauna) would definitely recommend! 10/10!
Our room was at the very top but it is what we ordered, everything else was perfect.
Great location, good wifi and tv worked unlike hotel Blackpool when we last stayed .
Mattress needs replacing, very worn and really uncomfortable causing back and neck to hurt for days after. Toilets not cleaned properly with rubbish behind toilet and what looked like a coke bag in the toilet when we arrived.
The room was excellent beds very comfortable
Staff were absolutely brilliant highly recommended
The Security of the hotel was second to none i felt really secure whilst i was there as a Disabled solo traveller i always worry I’m not going to be safe but this hotel was 10/10 safe
Nothing
Everything bedroom was fantastic
Great beds excellent staff very helpful
Good location and hot water
Everything else
The location was absolutely perfect. Close to everything we needed.
Didn't like the noise from the blow fan outside the window but part from that everything else was fine.
Good location typical Blackpool room
Dated and noisy
It was close to the amenities and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was small as was the shower, and it was in need of an update to the furniture and decor, which was tired and shabby. The bathroom was small there was no mat or towel for the floor so had to be careful getting out of the shower,(there was some paper style slippers, but they didn't help) the pillows and duvet were old and the duvet cover was torn on both sides near the top. One bedside table was wobbly and there wasn't much space between the bed and drawers or the bed and window which made getting in and out of bed difficulty.
Loved the location. Breakfast and staff are amazing, super friendly, and helpful.
Although the beds were clean, the mattresses really need replaced. A little more attention to cleaning would also help
Close to everthing
Everthing was gd
We were happy with great location and free breakfast
Window are dirty and poor quality inside room, remote no working
Close to tower and arcades.
No parking.
I have stayed at the Topaz before. We had a much better room this time with a big bay window in which we could see the tower well.
Could have done with a ground floor room due to my mothers wheelchair use but will correct this next time and ask for ground floor level.
The TV was great aswell as the tea and coffee
Shower wasn't working properly the bathroom smelt really bad hair on the bed side cabinet and the room in general was not clean to standards
My room was comfortable and spacious with good amenities.
There were a few bits if dirt in places
We're it was
Tv not working and 2 towes that all for 2 people for 2 days
The location is perfect for amenities of all kinds .The rooms were adequate and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We also received a text message to say we could check in early .
We was in Blackpool to celebrate a birthday and anniversary so we only slept there . And everything was fine . So no complaints
