It's a beautiful hotel and rooms are lovely. Very clean. Reception upgraded our room to premium.when we checked in which was appreciated. Breakfast is also very nice. Location was perfect for us as we needed to take the train to Ankara next day.

We had to wait for our room keys on arrival for more then 30 minutes as they didn’t knew we booked which was a joke as booking was done 3 weeks prior and payment was taken from our account 4 days before we travelled, receptionist are joke no sorry no thanks,you have keep on calling for water and other stuff now and then.. no customer service knowledge at all.

It was an enjoyable stay in the Elite World Grand Hotel. My family enjoyed the stay and SPA particularly the separate section for men and women. Breakfast was super rich and delicious options of intercontinental and Turkish delights. The parking was convenient and spacious. Ilayda from guest relations was phenomenal. Strongly recommended.

We stayed here as a family and booked three separate rooms. All three were in terrible condition: old, worn-out furniture, chips and stains everywhere, torn curtains, dirty grey drapes, mould and constant dampness in the bathrooms. None of the rooms came anywhere close to the standard expected from a five-star hotel. In one of our rooms, the sink started leaking directly onto an electrical connection near the hairdryer. The power kept cutting out, which was not only inconvenient but also extremely dangerous. Staff came three times to fix the problem, but it was never resolved. Eventually, we were moved to another room that was in even worse condition. Another major issue was the staff. They barely spoke any English and could not understand even the most basic words, which made it extremely difficult to resolve any problem. Room service was practically non-existent: you had to call around ten times, repeat the same request several times, and still receive nothing. There were many other unpleasant situations, but the main point is this: anyone looking for a comfortable stay, especially at a five-star hotel, should not stay here. This hotel does not meet its advertised standard in terms of room condition, service or safety. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We had a wonderful stay at Elite World Grand İstanbul Basın Ekspres with our family. The hotel was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Ms. İlayda from Guest Relations, who was exceptionally kind, professional and helpful throughout our stay. She made a great effort to accommodate our family's needs, helped us arrange the rooms and transportation, and was always available to assist us with a warm smile and genuine care. Everything about our stay was excellent, and our family, especially the children, had a very enjoyable experience. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel to other families visiting Istanbul. Thank you, İlayda, and thank you to the entire hotel team for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.

The only minor disadvantage is the hotel's location, as it is somewhat far from the main tourist and historical areas of Istanbul. However, with suitable transportation, this was not a major problem.

We stayed at the hotel from 26 July to 6 August. The breakfast was probably the best part of our stay. I know that some guests complained about it, but in my opinion it was a fairly standard and acceptable hotel breakfast, although perhaps still not at the level expected from a five-star property. The public areas of the hotel were also attractive. The lobby, corridors, lifts, dining area and overall interior design looked stylish and impressive.

Unfortunately, the hotel did not feel like a five-star property at all. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, were in very poor condition. Our bathroom had visible mould, worn and damaged furniture, leaking fixtures, cracked and separating tile joints, and generally looked badly maintained. The sink was leaking directly near the electrical wires connected to the hairdryer. These wires were not properly protected or concealed, which appeared unsafe. I am attaching photos showing the actual condition of our room and bathroom. Room service was extremely unreliable and practically did not work at all. We called both reception and room service several times in the morning, afternoon and at night, but our requests were never handled properly on the first attempt or within a reasonable amount of time. We also had constant problems with the room key cards, especially during the final two days. They repeatedly stopped working, sometimes almost every hour, and we had to keep returning to reception to reactivate or replace them. Without a working key card, we could not use the lift or enter our room. Most members of staff did not speak English. The reception staff spoke English, but almost everyone else immediately asked us to use a translator and show them our requests in Turkish. Communication was therefore very difficult and inconvenient, which is particularly surprising for a hotel that presents itself as a five-star international property. There was no clear minibar price list, and the Wi-Fi was terrible. Working from the hotel was almost impossible. The connection was extremely slow and sometimes reached only around 3 Mbps, apparently shared between many rooms on the floor. The spa facilities were also disappointing. Massages cost extra, and a swimming cap was mandatory in the indoor pool. The pool felt more like a basic sports pool than a relaxing hotel spa, and there were very few facilities for entertainment or relaxation.

Beautiful hotel. Absolutely gorgeous. The service and responsiveness - especially at the grill restaurant was unwelcoming, overpriced, and just rude. Very unexpected for Turkey as our family has really enjoyed virtually everywhere else. When we sat down at the restaurant no one approached us, greeted us, etc. Asked for a menu because the QR didn’t work. Evidently that was not a reasonable request. Never felt more unwelcome and like a hassle to try and order food. We just left after 10 minutes or so. Did inform management. Laughter and a shoulder shrug. Empty shampoo containers in the shower upon check in. Call to front desk. Never responded for the request. Would absolutely not recommend. Sadly.

L'emplacement un petit peu loin et les connexions difficiles, donc il faut compter sur Uber pour chaque déplacement, avec les prix actuels à Istanbul....si on pense à des navettes ça rendra l'hôtel encore plus attractif

Just got back from 10 nights at elite hotel and the staff are so lovely Melek checked us in and was so friendly and lovely to chat to Aliya checked on us during our stay to make sure we were happy . Room service guys were amazing always arrived within minutes of us ordering . The valet guys had our car to us within minutes The hotel was clean the breakfast was lovely also I cannot fault this hotel it was so chilled we enjoyed the pool and spa too I would definitely return next time I visit Istanbul well done to all the team nothing was too much trouble all were very friendly and a big help for our first time in Istanbul ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 💯

Зупиняємося в отелі 2 раз, все прекрасно( якщо не звертати уваги на дрібниці), сніданки просто супер, а дівчинка на рецепції(російськомовна) дуже приємна, у всьому допомагає, як і весь персонал готелю.

Most of the staff are unfriendly. The rooms I was given were too small. There was a long queue for coffee during breakfast as only one machine was working.

As a 5 star hotel, they don't have free laundry service.

For this hotel, the only thing I really liked was the location, because we came for a tournament and it was convenient for us. I also liked the sauna and the swimming pool.

We were disappointed with many things at this hotel. First of all, from the very beginning, we booked rooms as a group of 8 people. The hotel initially offered us a taxi transfer to the hotel for 60 EUR. When I accepted the offer, they immediately changed the price to 100 EUR. After messaging back and forth with them and after they explained that the 60 EUR price was supposedly a mistake, I gave up and found a completely normal transfer myself for 50 EUR. We also had problems with breakfast. Breakfast costs 18 EUR per person. When we arrived at the hotel, we wanted to pay for breakfast for all of us immediately, but we were told that it was not necessary to pay in advance and that we could either pay directly at breakfast or charge it to the room. However, the next morning, we were not allowed to enter the breakfast area because breakfast had not been arranged in advance at reception. After several complaints, the following day they told us that we could have breakfast and that one of our rooms would receive free breakfast. Furthermore, the room cleaning was terrible. One evening, we were not given any towels at all. After we complained, the next day they brought towels, but they left someone else’s dirty towels in our room. They also took the tea and coffee cups from our room and refused to bring new ones, no matter how many times we asked. The rubbish was not removed from the room, despite our requests. Overall, the hotel was terrible. Considering that it is advertised as a 5-star hotel, this is completely unacceptable. In reality, this feels like a 2-star hotel, or at most a 3-star hotel. Another major issue is that the staff do not speak English well, which creates a serious communication problem.

-الغرفة كانت سيئة من حيث ان الحمام صنبور المياه غير جيد نهائيا ضعف بخروج المياه والحنفية تتحرك ، ارضيات الحمام غير جيدة فيها فراغات بين البلاط. رقم الغرفة 910 -السجادة في الغرفة غير نظيفة ولا يتم تكنيسها يوميا خلال وجودي بالغرفة . - الفرشة قديمة وهابطة بشكل غير مريح . -الموظفين بخدمة الغرف بخلاء وغير لطفاء طلبت مياه زيادة في احدى الايام ورفض اعطائي ،و اكثر من مرة لا يضعوا اكواب الشاي والقهوة. -قبل الوصول تم تغيير موعد الوصول ولكن لنفس الفترة يعني كان الحجز من 17 - 21 وتم تغيير من 18 - 22 لكن رفضوا تغيير الموعد ودفعت قيمة ليلة لغرفتين. - اكثر من مرة يتم تعطل كرت الغرفة واضطر ان انزل للاستقبال لاعادة برمجتها .

Beautiful large room and bathroom. Delicious food served in the Grill and awesome cocktails and drinks in the bar. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Busy hotel though really quiet at night and slept really well beds are huge!Definitely coming back here!

Kettle was leaking in the room to start with but soon got changed. Cleaner took away cups and forgot to replace them or the tea and coffees!? Outside pool had no water in on our first day but was filled on the second would've been good to know this in advance as if the weather had been warmer this would have ruined our stay as it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. As it happens, we took a taxi out so all good but Hotels should make customers aware of when pools are closed.
