A lovely stay in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is located right in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, which makes it very convenient for getting around, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. The staff were warm, welcoming and always willing to help. A special thank you to Mr. Biên and the whole team for their kindness and great service. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel!

Parfait avec emplacement idéal pour visiter le vieux centre. Chambre moderne, confortable et propre. Personnel très aimable et de bons conseils et aide. Je sais où revenir pour mes prochains voyages à Hanoi en famille. Je recommande vivement !

Excellent service by Dinh. He hooked up all the tours to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh and they were fantastic. Nice, big, comfortable bed.

I wish I could have stayed longer

Good location, friendly staff.

No window in room, no natural light able to get in. bed was far too soft. Other residents kept banging through the night which kept us awake.

Overall facilities value for money was good. Especially the reception staff Bien, Ha, and Dan were very nice and extremely helpful.

I liked all aspects of the hotel and services.

Queen Light Hotel is situated roughly in the middle of the Old Quarter, about 15 minutes walk from Hoan Liem Lake and easy reach of most other attractions and hospitality venues. Bien and his staff are very attentive and friendly. Bien took me a massage establishment where I probably had the best massage I've had in Vietnam for a long time(I have constant lower back pain,and this did a lot to alleviate it) My room was really good, big with a huge bed,and they had upgraded me without me putting in a request,and an excellent ensuite. ( Most hotels and guesthouses seem to now have rain showers ,which I really like)

It was a good hotel in the middle of the old quarter so great for exploring. The manager was great at helping us book everything last minute which was greatly appreciated! He was fantastic

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, and the location is right in the middle of the Old Quarter, making it easy to go everywhere and explore the city. A special mention to Bien, the Manager, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience.

The location is excellent but mainly, Biên is a wonderful person! He not only made sure we were comfortable but also helped us on multiple occasions and assisted us in booking the Ha Long Bay cruise and Ninh Binh trail

The washroom/ bathroom is a bit small but it’s not really a big issue

Amazing property it looks more expensive than its price I really loved the place and even extended my time there the staff and Ben the manager are very friendly and caring I highly recommend to anyone in Hanoi

I had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Queen Light Hotel. The service was excellent, and the airport pickup and drop-off were very smooth and convenient. A special thanks to the manager, Dihn Bien, who was very professional, kind, and always ready to help. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure guests felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel is clean, cozy, and in a great location. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would happily stay here again.

The location and the service. Room Was exactly as described. The balcony was perfect for chilling.

The bathroom did not have a shower divider but that was not a huge problem.

The location is perfect. All staff has been very helpful and always try to solve my problems. The manager, Dinh Bien, is a very good guy who tried to make my comfort. He always supported me when I had a problem. He managed an excellent tour for Ha Long Bay for me.it was fantastic, and at the end of the tour, I forgot my bag in Halong Bay, and he helped me to get my bag. And he made it from 200 km distance.

The rooms were neat and clean and tidy .

It was worth what we paid for. The location, the staff were both very good. Rooms were clean. Bien and his team were very helpful at all times. From the day of booking itself Bien was helping us sorting out our tours in Hanoi and pretty much with everything.

If you are a light sleeper the balcony room wouldn’t be ideal for you. Other than that everything else was very good.

It was in a very good location, not too far from the old quarter centre.

They gave me an upgrade but it was more like a downgrade as I was overlooking the lobby and could hear everything downstairs when people were talking.

Hotel est très vieux, il y avait une odeur de moisissure qui sortait de la salle de bain et j'ai dû réparer la chasse d'eau qui ne fonctionnait pas. Je ne conseil pas, même pour une nuit. Et ce n'est pas une hisoire de prix, car pour ce pris j'ai séjourné dans d'autres hotels du pays qui m'ont plainement satisfait !

Decor was tasteful and charming, and the place was more or less quiet. The staff gave me a free upgrade to a larger room, which was super kind of them. Everything was spotlessly clean, with free tea and coffee that delighted my backpacker soul.

The room didn't have a window (or it had a stage one, painted black and with a wall two inches on the other side of the glass). I realize this is common in urban SE Asia, but I personally find it depressing if it's 7am and still feels like midnight in my room - especially if the room costs what this one did.

J’ai adoré notre chambre 303 avec ses volets et un joli petit balcon où nous pouvions voir au petit matin (“ il est 5 heures du matin, Hanoï s’éveille”), les dames qui déambulaient en vélo entouré de bouquets de fleurs à vendre ou circulaient à pied avec la palanche lourde de fruits. Au temps, où nous y étions, pas besoin de la climatisation (26.11 au 01.12.2025). Pendant la nuit, l’air était frais, idéal pour le sommeil. Rue tranquille pendant la nuit. Le lit est super confortable. À tous les jours, 2 bières, 2 coca et 2 bouteilles d’eau sont offertes. Endroit très bien situé pour visiter le Vieux Hanoï et pour manger le phõ du matin. Un début de voyage extraordinaire où notre chambre a contribué à apprivoiser Hanoï. Et aussi, Monsieur Tiẽn qui nous a fait faire un tour en cyclo-pousse et nous indiquer les endroits à voir! The room was nice with nice view from the balcony. The street noice was bearable we didn’t expect this to be 100% quiet in the middle of old quarter. Special thanks to our hotel support Mr Bien for taking care of us from the beginning of the booking until arranging taxi for departure!

We enjoyed our stay in your hotel, the location is very accessible to every spot we visited. What we like most are the small restos catering Vietnam pho and bahn mi..the taste is so authentic and the prices are affordable 😁 thank you we will definitely come back to this place

Cách âm ko tốt lắm, nghe đc ng khác ở dưới sảnh nói chuyện luôn. Cải thiện đc điều này thì ksan 10điểm, còn lại mọi thứ đều hài lòng

the staff was extremely friendly and made sure my stay was great. it’s in a great location in the old quarter and the rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable.

the bathrooms were small and definitely needed some TLC. the photos look a lot nicer than how the rooms actually look but you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a budget friendly stay in the old quarter with nice staff this might be for you.

The staff is very enthusiastic! Unfortunately, breakfast is not included, but it's okay. In the morning, there are many food stalls around the hotel. ^^
