Nimic. Nu va cazați aici ca va luați o mega teapa. Eu am facut reclamatie deja sa imir ecuperez banii. Nu e nimic ca in poze! Ușile camerelor sunt sparte semn ca a fost ceva bordel acolo. Plina de mucegai. Efectv nu e niciun perete fera mucegai. Jegul si mizeria sunt la superlativ. Oglinzile efectiv pline de toate cele, mesele te lipești de ele. Spun ca au parcare dar aceasta nu exista! Au ditai ghetele degunoi in fata si pute totul a gunoi. Am cerut banii înapoi pentru ca nu puteam sa stau cu un copil de 3 luni in mucegai si cu o camera care nu se închide, probabil ii voi recupera cu protecția consumatorului. Nu va cazați aici ca e mega înșelătorie.

Las instalaciones estaban bastante bien , el personal es muy atento y les califico sobre 10 a Naser , Abdul y Ahmed son unas grandes personas .y siempre estaban a disposición si necesitábamos algo.gracias fue genial nuestra estancia.

Apartamentul a fost mare, spatios chiar și un mic balcon, exact ca în poze. Personalul foarte amabil și de ajutor Apa caldă, chiar fierbinte, baia destul de mare

Parcarea în fata hotelului, doar 2 locuri, într-adevăr gratis dar greu de prins, Wi-Fi prost, uneori fără conexiune. Locația hotelului este pe o panta foarte abrupta, te omoară drumurile 😁

The staff were great and the overall location is near many attractions

Pictures show the property as glamorous but in reality it is so worn out and many things are broken or don’t work. Needs some maintenance to be more comfortable. And Murphy beds were such a hazard with their sharp corners era that we got hurt multiple times from it.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and everyone including each receptionist and the girls from the cleaning team spoke english well enough so there was no issue regarding comunicating. They were always willing to help with any need that we had or when asking for any information. The Wi-fi worked just fine, with the mention that the further you were going from the physical router on the hallway, the slower the speed was becoming, but can't complain much. The facilities that were available inside the apartment all worked fine, the ac's despite looking very old on the outside, worked perfectly, also with the mention that the one in the living room (there were 2 ac's) had a broken grille and was making a louder noise compared to the one in the bedroom, which when set on silence mode was not making any noise whatsoever. The bathroom didn't have a window, but the ventilation worked perfectly, as no smell managed to get into the living room, despite the fact that the door wasn't actually sealed to the edges. The apartment was true to the pictures, maybe just a bit smaller in reality than how pictures may look like at first, but nothing different than what i expected. Also, it must be kept in mind that Gen Suites it's at the time of this review a 2 star hotel, which i found out only after buying, because i used booking specifically looking for apartments. The price was great indeed, much lower than what you can find in the area, but the conditions were also not the best as i'll mention below.

The biggest minus was the cleanness, which altough there's a cleaning team which comes to the door everyday around noon-afternoon time, it looked like no one cleaned it. There was dust in certain areas, there was hair on the floor, among lint and the floor was just dirty in general. Some of the towels and bedsheets had some stains, but they were smelling like they had been washed, it was just stains that didn't come out through regular washing. The handles of the kitchen drawers were dirty with such a crust that would've required a special degreasing solution as i've tried to use wet wipse to clean them but they were useless. The electric stove was also covered around with an very old crust which was impossible to clean with dish soap and a regular dish washing sponge as i have tried to do that also. Can't say that the dishes were too dirty but i washed everything before using regardless. Some of the furniture was damaged but not broked, by damage i mean appearance wise, it looked like on the outside some people which stood there really treated the place like animals unfortunately. Like the overall look around, of the walls, furniture, seemed to appear in bad condition on the outside, but as i've said, the stuff there wasn't broken, just poor quality on the surface, especially compared to the perfect pictures. The only thing that was actually broken was the hinge on the top of the bathroom floor which was meant to keep it together. Because of that, the door was hard to close nicely and tight, as it has a weird system, being split in the middle, but it wasn't a big problem, just something which could be fixed for overall experience.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Apartments liegen schön und auch ruhig. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche (großer Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach)

The staff was very kind and professional. 😊 The hotel was located about 1.5 km from the Taksim square. The apartment was spacious. AC and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel needs a thorough cleaning. The area is very noisy. Parking is on the street, and the street is very steep.

Locatie is okay, dichtbij Taksim. Kamers zijn ideaal voor gezinnen met kinderen. De meubels waren heel versleten.

De Lift was mega klein, badkamer was ook heel klein zeker om kleine kinderen te douchen. Douche kop was kapot (hangend). De hotel ligt op een heuvel, heel ambetant.

Un grand merci au personnel, à l’écoute, disponible et sympathique. L’emplacement est à 10-15 minutes à pied de la place Taksim (un peu en montée, mais vous pouvez emprunter une ruelle parallèle pour un chemin plus facile)

Very noisy early in the morning. The rooftop studio had no microwave and the shower did not work. But the shower was fixed very quickly, within 20 minutes of my complaint to the reception.

The street where the hotel is located has a steep slope. This is common in many parts of Istanbul, but it might be hard for older guests.

The location was excellent,making it easy to explore the city and cleanliness was outstandig.The staff was friendly an accommodating ensuring a confortable experience.I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Instanbul.

The description of the room and facilities was inaccurate. The room and common areas were not clean, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. The equipment and amenities were not in good working order.

Staff behavior was very good, the best thing is they understand and speak English very well which we found in Turkey 🇹🇷 very rare. Suit was very clean 👌. It was worth of money if you're looking for a budget stay.

Noises were coming in the morning and a bit on uphill.

The receptionist was very helpful and gave a speedy check in . The staff were friendly and kept us supplied with towels and water . The bathroom in the apartment was modern and very clean . However , this apartment is not really how it seems . First of all , there is no dishwasher or washing machine as you would expect for a normal apartment . The plates in the kitchen were disgustingly dirty and full with scratches and stains . The microwave was very confusing to work with no instructions written .After a long travel , we entered the room and were very shocked with the condition of the room . There was dust everywhere and the bedsheets were disgusting with hairs and yellow stains . We had to request bedsheets and duvet covers late at night already tired and changed them ourselves . The main bedroom was cleaned properly however the portable single beds and the sofa bed were not clean at all . Furthermore , the location was undesirable with the view from the balcony of poor housing like slum areas . The location was not ideal and is not where you would expect to find a hotel . It was also far from the main tourist attractions in Istanbul and had to get a taxi everywhere which was also difficult to find in this area . This hotel clearly needs to work on cleanliness and updating their posts with realistic information

One of the best hotels in Istanbul

Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We have everything we needed for our family of six for several days. A/C worked well, the apartment was clean and suitably furnished. The only down side is location. It is a 20 minute walk across the highway and up a steep hill to the touristy Taksim hill part of town. For the excellent price, we felt this less desirable location was worth the inconvenience of having to walk.

Leider war unsere Unterkunft am Anfang nicht sauber. Unter dem Bett war der Staub der letzten Tage. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren aber sauber und frisch. Unterkunft ist nichts für Familien mit Kinder/Kinderwagen. Der Berg zum Hotel ist nichts gegen den Berg, den man laufen mit bis ins Zentrum zu kommen.

The place is clean and the staff were nice. The neighborhood is a bit unsafe and very noisy and the noise bothers even after completely closing the windows.

Perfect. Mr. Mohamed and Mr. Yaser are gentlemen, response is prompt and efficient, the suite is fully furnished, cleaning is daily, me and my family feel secure and in good hands. I strongly recommend Gen suites.

It was clean and good value for money.

The location is on a hill road and no parking. We went by car and couldn’t find any parking in that road at all at anytime. We had to park far and walk on the hill to the hotel.

There is a very attentive staff who is ready to help with any problems. The rooms are cleaned, clean. There are many windows in the room, there are air conditioners, a kitchen with dishes, there is an elevator and automatic blinds on the windows for a quiet life. There is a supermarket nearby. In general, I really liked it!!! The price and quality are super!

They couldn't provide me a good service very noisy place couldn't sleep at All booked for 3 nights i left the first night and they refuse to refund me money . Im still working on getting my refund. Bad place not very clean .never again not recommended anyone.

They deducted from my card for the remaining nights without my permission, whereas it's clearly stated that the first night will be deducted ONLY. They deducted first night twice, and they said By Mistake. When I wanted to leave the third night they rejected to refund the money.
