Ein wunderschönes Hotel, mit einem sehr entspannenden Poolbereich. Das Personal war super nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Der Innenbereich war sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Zum Frühstück gab pro Tag immer zwei Gerichte zur Auswahl, die stets sehr gut zubereitet wurden. Wasser und Kaffee gab es umsonst. Sonstige Getränke konnte man jederzeit an der Rezeption kaufen.

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und das Fenster ging in den Innen Bereich, wo Leute auch stets lang liefen. Das Bett war zu klein für zwei Personen, die Kopfkissen auch und generell war es nicht angenehm zum liegen. Die Klimaanlage machte nachts sehr laute Knack-Geräusche (vermutlich vom Kühlmittel), die einen nachts immer wieder aufweckten. Ohne Klimaanlage konnte man jedoch auch nicht schlafen.

Camera un po’ buia se non si apre il vetro della portafinestra (perché gli oscuranti sono fissi sui vetri. Sarebbe meglio avere degli oscuranti regolabili per far entrare la luce senza per forza aprire la portafinestra. Mancanza di zanzariere e di balcone nella stanza.

La alberca tenía una excelente temperatura, aunque estaba ligeramente frío el agua estaba tibia por lo que pudimos utilizarla sin problema, y la estancia en general fue muy buena.

We loved our 6 night stay here! The location is absolutely perfect - on a quiet street but close to centro. The breakfast was great, the rooms are cleaned daily, the pool and courtyard are beautiful, there is free water and tea all day, and the staff are lovely - organised taxis for us several times. If you are looking for an authentic experience in a great location with clean rooms this is ideal.

I had read other reviews that the rooms can be dark so requested an upper floor that faced the courtyard and it was perfect. If you need modern luxury this is not the place for you but if you love a place that is super clean, authentic, tranquil, and a great location, this accommodation is wonderful.

The hotel is very clean and fairly well situated (handy when you arrive at the bus station). The pool and inner courtyard are nice and breakfast is decent.

There's nothing we didn't like, it just isn't anything special and we found the place quite expensive for what it was. We were a bit disappointed also not to be allowed to use the pool before heading for our night bus, even though the place was hardly crowded. I kind of understand but it isn't very client friendly. In general, the staff was correct but not more than that. It was all a bit business-like.

The whole space was genuine, welcoming and beautiful. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and breakfast area were fantastic.

We loved the pool, the charming bungalows, the beautiful gardens and lush vegetation, the décor and the fantastic location. Also the staff serving breakfast, and the breakfast!

The only downsides were the limited pool hours and the Wi-Fi, which was a little unreliable at times. We would have loved a bit more flexibility with the pool hours so we could enjoy it earlier in the morning or later in the evening.

No me gustó que solo tuvieran 2 opciones de desayuno y que cambiaran todos los días puesto que no hay variedad y no todos comen lo mismo. En lo personal, tuve que buscar desayuno afuera a pesar de haber pagado desayuno incluido

Por clima la piscina no la ocupamos ya que llovia en las tardes, pero vi constante mantención de la misma. La ubicación es buena, a pocas cuadras del sócalo, era caminable y con varios servicios cerca.

El hotel no invita a disfrutarlo, se siente distante el trato, el desayuno es muy básico y repetitivo, las habitaciones son cómodas pero muy pequeñas, como la nuestra daba hacia un pasillo, nunca pude correr las cortinas, siempre oscuro, el personal se comunica con lo mínimo, no ofrecen ayuda, cuando la pedimos, el recepcionista fue muy amable, pero en general muy poca interacción con los pasajeros.

Breakfast was good, the pool was huge compared to other hotels in the city (I went to a few more expensive ones my friends were staying at) and the room was so cute.

Beds were a bit firm and the water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Great location, just centric enough but not right in the city center. The pool was a great bonus, as well as the courtyard. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Breakfast was okay, limited options but not bad.

Our room was spacious and comfortable with a full refrigerator and cooking facilities. The property has a great quiet location in centro a few blocks from the busy core of the zocalo and is decorated with abundant tropical foliage. We enjoyed having access to coffee, ice and cold water in the shared central kitchen.

We traveled during the hottest time of the year in Oaxaca and appreciated coming back to the refeshing pool. We, and other guests, wished the pool remained open a bit later than 8pm as there were often guests swimming, lounging and relaxing in the pool area at that hour. The pool area never felt crowded and there were plenty of lounge chairs available.

A disappointment, and I sincerely hope that the management of this “hotel” reads this review carefully without assuming it was written by just another unlucky or uninformed guest. I travel extensively around the world and work in this industry. Everything started poorly upon arrival, when not even a simple “welcome” was offered by the person in charge at reception. As we arrived around 1:00 pm, the first thing we were told was that the room was not ready and would only be available at 2:00 pm. Fine, no problem. We then asked if we could use the pool while waiting. “Yes, but on the day of check-out you may only use the pool until 11:00 am – check-out time.” At that point, it already became clear that this stay would not go well. We had just arrived and were immediately met with a defensive attitude, already setting limits related to check-out and pool access. Even more ironic given that our check-out was very early, at 7:00 am, to the extent that we were not even offered breakfast or any alternative — but I’ll get to that. We changed clothes and went to the pool. The pool area had loungers that were completely dirty and stained, showing clear neglect. The little grass that existed was overgrown and clearly had not been cut for weeks. The room was ready shortly after 2:00 pm. To our surprise, as soon as we entered, the air felt heavy, stale, and suffocating — clearly a room that had been closed for hours, if not days. Surreal. And if that was the case, why was the room not given earlier? To avoid “spoiling” guests? I genuinely cannot understand. The room itself was basic and showed no attention to detail. We then enjoyed the city of Oaxaca, which is at an excellent level, vibrant and lively. It is a beautiful city with a modern vibe, full of well-designed new places, great cafés, and interesting restaurants. The hot water pressure in the hand basin in our room was non existent, the wi fi strength was also very poor in our room and needed to go outside to get good reception, also something I have never come across before was being asked to put your toilet paper in a bin and not down the toilet

Chambre et salle de bain auraient besoin d’être rafraîchis / rénovés. La casa comme telle est un beau bâtiment, mais ça manque d’authenticité dans la décoration et le divan rouge du lobby (usé) et les chaises métalliques lourdes ne sont pas invitantes/confortables.

Classic older hotel with amazing landscaping. I loved the warm pool water. Breakfast on the top patio overlooking pool and mountains will be your highlight. Close to all the main bars and restaurants of Oaxaca.

Towels need replaced, they are warn out. They have a logo, unnecessary, just get nice towels.

The staff were efficient,effective and accomodating. The fact that they were proud of their hotel is obvious. It was situated on a quiet street but only a brief walk to churches,museums and the zocalo. The pool was excellent and much appreciated after a day of touring.

En la esquina (calle de los Libres), a partir de las 20hs., se instala un puesto ambulante de tacos (El lechoncito de oro), super recomendable y a precios módicos.

Great location for walkability. Beautiful pool area and the water was warm. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The hotel best shampoo and conditioner for my thick curly hair. Secure parking lot but street parking was easy to get. Yummy breakfast on a very cute patio.

Room was a little outdated. Service was a little nonchalant. For example, one breakfast nobody would give us forks.

The pool was fabulous, the staff lovely, the breakfasts were tasty. The other guests were nice - apart from on the first day a woman refused to let me in and she informed me that ' nowhere in the world was safe.' (Obviously not the fault of the hotel and they came to let me in immediately). Pool was quiet - only one noisy family (same one with the paranoid mother). No other kids which is always a bonus. Tea, coffee and water always available.

Like some of the reviews have said, the cheaper inside rooms are dark and gloomy, but they are clean. I don't spend time in the room anyway so it didn't bother me.

This property was very tranquil. Pool was lovely, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was great. Wonderful coffee spot a block away with great food as well and close to city center.

Had to pay to upgrade to a better room because the courtyard view rooms have no windows and are very dark. Had to pay to upgrade to a pool view room so we could open a window and get some light. The staff in the front office are not particularly friendly. I asked them for advice on how to get transportation to our next location (Huatulco) and they sent me to the wrong place which caused me a fair bit of a scramble. They simply had incorrect information.

This is such a nice and well-run hotel. I really enjoyed my week here. The pool is large and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The breakfast was filling and delicious. The staff were all friendly and kind. It is a family run hotel and you can tell, it has very warm atmosphere. The location is great as well, very close to one of my favourite markets in Oaxaca, the Merced, as well as the Museo Textil de Oaxaca. I will definitely be back.

We liked the pool & the quiet rooms. Daily housekeeping was very excellent.

The included breakfast was uninspiring even though it changed daily. Very indifferent coffee which is disgraceful in Oaxaca. Most of the staff looked bored and unfriendly, except the housekeeping staff. The building is old, atmospheric and clean but it is due for some easy refreshing (all the dark paint!) and not worth the cost they charge.

The swimming pool was so welcome.

Great location with a very lovely brunch restaurant right next door. It's about a 15-minute walk to anything a typical visitor would want to go to, including the city centre and the bus terminal with connections across the state. Rooms are a little old-fashioned but quite cute, staff are very nice, breakfast is good - you get to choose one of two rotating items each day - and you'll dine on a terrace overlooking Oaxaca, the pool and the garden.

Breakfast may be a bit limited for some, and the mattresses were a little hard. Some workers were tending the garden, which could get in the way of some people. However, I suspect this is seasonal and didn't bother us much. I still think it's good value for money overall.

L'isolation sonore. En effet les fenêtres donnent sur les patios et les extérieurs donc si un groupe s'installe sous votre fenêtre vous entendez toute leur conversation et inversement.

Wi fi needs upgrading and TV needs updating channels, you get only like 10 channels. The few channels that you have are always loosing signal, so you watch episodes of a show, movie, or video. Breakfast was ok but needs more choices and protein

The bungalows are large, but some of the singular rolls are extremely small. For better or worse, it is a bit off the beaten path, but not much.

The breakfasts were good and it was very convenient to have it available. The pool area was nice and very well cared for. It was a nice comfortable place to be on a warm afternoon.

The room we booked and spent the first night in was really small and dark with no outside window. We asked if it was possible to move to a room overlooking the pool and fortunately, there was a larger room with an outside window. It was a bit more in price, but so well worth it. The staff was very accommodating.
