Ibis Styles Makassar Sam Ratulangi

Gute Lage, Pool, sehr nettes Personal

Very nice rooms, good breakfast buffet, great standard overall.

Location is very good, very quick service and the staff is very good manner.

Perfect for one night. Clean, comfy room, lovely staff, good location in the city centre and delicious breakfast! I’d gladly stay here again.

No bar and no alcohol sold in the property 😢

attentive and nice staff

cleanliness in the bedroom , toilet and smelly towel

La cama

Algo desgastado y poco cuidado

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was in the centre of town. The breakfast was OK.

The rooms - especially the bathroom part needed a deep clean. Or even better completely refurbished. The shower head had mould all over it and there was gunk in the corners of the shower area. Our sheets were very stained but the staff were happy to change them. Which they did quickly & efficiently.

The staffs are helpful! The breakfast spread is nice and there are options to choose from but needs to be refilled in a timely manner. Location is great and gojek/grab drivers will arrive pretty quickly.

As soon as you walk in, the hotel lobby smells like socks/wet laundry and there's no ventilation unless if the sliding door is automatically open. The lift also has no ventilation, it gets hot in it. The towels we were given (multiple times after asking for a change) stank like body odour or cigarettes and the quality of the towels is run down/old, it needs replacing. The bathroom has the same flooring as other parts of the room and it can get slippery. The bathroom is mouldy with the showerhead being mouldy as well. It was advertised that there will be a fridge but we had no fridge in our room... at all, just an empty space (see photo 3). Cleanliness should be a big part of a 3 star hotel (at the very least) but it wasn't even considered. The hotel needs major upgrades for the rooms, lifts etc. Overall despite these experience, the staffs are great helped where they could (not much they can do) but I wouldn't recommend staying here.

All good

Mosquitoes in the restaurant

Rien

O pequeno-almoço era fabuloso.

It was a pleasure

Nice pool, clean rooms.

Breakfast not included

The breakfast was good, I woke up late, but they were able to get supply with a good breakfast. It was close to a some local restaurants and shop so, if I wanted to explore, I had the option. The shower was nice and hot, the bed was comfortable. They even watched my luggage while I was in another part of Sulawesi. All in all I have no complaints

Nice hotel. Clean and with friendly staff.

Sangat selesa cuma dengar suara sikit dari bilik sebelah.

Nyaman

Lokasi

It was all wanderful stay, amazing stuff, very friendly , good location, very tasty breakfast, and many different option of meals , clean hotel. I just loved everything, cozy room and charming atmosphere, been there for 2 night, definitely Will be back here ..

This hotel is pretty good at ITS class, the room, amenities, facilities, food are all great, their services are very suportive, one thing they should provide is refrigerator in the room, love all about it. Nice hotel really enjoy to stay here , maybe next time i Will invite my colleagues here...

All good, had arrived early on sleeping bus and they let me have room early. Also, very happy to answer questions or find someone who could...

Very clean & comfortable. Staff are very courteous and respectful.

For business the location is perfect near to Kalla building

The staff was very attentive, no doubt for sure. Special shout to Edi front office , just passing by and he will served you with pure heart and big smile. Can’t wait to come back for sure. The breakfast was very good, the taste is awesome. The room is super clean , and the location is in the heart of the town, easy access to every where.

The staffs' hospitality, the location

The walls seem so thin, you can hear the noise from all over. Especially from the neighbours' rooms. The hotel is supposed to have some rules for the guests not to make too much noise, especially after 10 pm. Let alone after midnight. And about the breakfast, I am sure the hotel could do better by keeping the food covers closed all the time in order to make foods stays warm and more hygiene, as I can see some bugs flying here and there and some kids keep touching it.

Strategic position, comfortable, clean and the staff are friendly and professional

Friendly staff made the stay good and comfortable. Truly amazed by the excellent hospitality of the front desk and housekeeping staffs.

Nothing

Breakfast was good.

A nice and comfortable room with all the facilities you would expect and want. Good water pressure. Breakfast was nice, quite standard but everything cooked well and was a diverse range. The service was friendly, prompt and helpful. Would stay again when I'm in Makassar again.

First room we stayed in had a botched AC, sweated through the night but they changed us to another room the next day without issues.

It was good experience and staff was cooperative

Great hospitality, very friendly staffs, Ms. Dya in the reception was always very helpful. Pretty decent breakfast buffet. Overall a good place for business stays and also for leisure. Great location, close to the beach as well. Thank you.

Good Hotel with great staff. Mr Eddie & Miss Ika and the rest of the staff were most helpful. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Breakfast was included & had a good choice of foods. Location was good, with many eateries colse by and 500m walk to the nearest Mall. Will stay at Ibis styles again & highly recommend this hotel.

Ruime, schone kamer!

We like the facilities and surprised (good one) given.

The floor was wet when we entered the room, so my daughter slipped.

Location is excellent near to wisma kalla office, the staff friendly and helpful

The towel was old

Thank you for the best service to us in every we made a reservation in here. Always happy with the compliment which give to us like a upgrade room, welcome cake, welcome fruit, snack in the room, until late check out up to 4pm. Especially thank you to Pak Wahidin as General Manager, Mas Edi/Mbak Dya/Mbak Ika as FO team, who always prepare well during my staycation with my wife. We will always back and choose this hotel for another staycation, business trip, and lunch/dinner maybe. Ibis Styles Makassar already same with my second home. I will always back in here again and again. The warm welcome, fast respon and hospitality always make me comfort and i will recommend to my friends to stay in here. Because very closed with my office. Hahaaa. See you very soon, Ibis Styles Makassar Sam Ratulangi! ❤️❤️❤️

Good service , excellent foods

Far from Airport

The staff was friendly ☺️

Not many knew how to speak English. There was no where to out toilet paper next to the toilet. The first room we had was leaking water from the windows..When it rained, most of the floor was wet.

The value is good for the price. The staff is very friendly.

The breakfast was not up to level. I ordered a waffle, but got 2 small corners. Apparently they think it's expensive. But then, why serve it at all?

Not too far from the beach, which wouldve been good. Just that I was too tired from late arrival, and being kept up most of the night with traffic and Mosque noise, so couldnt go there. I tried to make contact via expedia vhat to arrange.transport from airport. This didnt happen, no reply, even from four or five days out. Eeturn transport was areanged well though. Good breakfast service, plentiful and tasty. The scannable info in room said gym and pool were out of action. I find out at 0930, at reception that they are in operation, but only until 1000. So missed out. Would be nice to ipdate QR Scanned info.

my experience during the stay was quite bad because there was no soap in the bathroom, towels were not suitable for use, the shower button was broken, the blanket was stained It's a shame that an ibis class hotel has a room like this I was very disappointed with my first experience staying at this hotel 👎

Special thanks to Ika and Adil for making my stay pleasant and comfortable! They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and helped me find my way around the neighborhood. When I needed to find a doctor or get new quota for my SIM card, they helped me out a lot. Thanks to you guys for your kindness! :-) The breakfast buffet is great. They have many choices, including both Indonesian-style and western-style food. They make omelettes to order and have lots of fruit. I especially enjoyed the congee with many different toppings (cilantro, dried fish, etc.).

The gym is in disrepair. There are four pieces of equipment, all in need of repair or replacement. The treadmill is the one piece of equipment that works well, and even it displays a warning about needing oil for the belt each time you turn it on. Also, the pool and gym are only open five hours per day (7-10AM and 4-6PM), though I was told when I was checking out that they could have opened the doors to the gym for me at other times. (Unfortunately I did not find that out until the end of my stay there.) The pool and elevator had a lot of maintenance while I was there. I realize that many hotels have fallen behind on maintenance during the pandemic, so hopefully this is a temporary thing. I'd recommend turning down the music in the restaurant, especially at breakfast. Some of the loud western pop music is a bit much for first thing in the morning, and some of the songs are quite inappropriate for kids.

Nice hôtel. Great location. Excellent staff.

Bed sheets have not been changed.

The room is nice, I'm happy because my room is upgraded. I stay at the hotel for 4 night but breakfast menu is not variation and the restaurant is not spacious. The parking lot is limited. Overall this hotel its okay & great service for customer.

This is my second time staying in Ibis styles ratulangi and it was absolutely awesome! I would like to thank to some of the ambassadors who I thought being very helpful during my stay. RYAN, DYA, WULAN... thanks for being so flexible during my early check in. also I concerned about membership point as I stayed couple of times already. However thankfully these two staff DYA, RYAN are very quick in willing to help to find my membership and attach on my booking. DYA is very helpful every time I called she was very articulate and gave a quick service! It was very nice stay and I couldn’t be happier to be a member of Accor guest! Can’t wait to stay in another part of Accor properties! Thank you.

one of the hotels in downtown Makassar that has a very stylist and modern design, although this hotel is only a 3 star but this hotel has a swimming pool and a mini gym. and I highly recommend staying in family room types because the rooms are very spacious!

The main bedroom was separated with the living room so it was apartment-like. They put different sliding doors for sharing bathroom, it makes more comfortable for more people stay together. The couch can be unfolded, so it would be perfect for family with kids.

The receptionist was very helpful. Lobby looks exciting and instagrammable. Art is everywhere. Room was spacy enough to move around. The view from our window on 12th floor was quite great though the hotel located in the center of city. They provided complete amenities just like a 4-star hotel. Swimming pool is joined with a small but cozy semi-outdoor lounge. Kids pool and swimsuit available for rent. I was thinking of celebrating birthday there. For breakfast.. I love their nasi kuning, condiments were tasty. And coffee machine complemented my morning.

We spent our Christmas holidays 3 nights in this hotel, Dec.24-27, 2019. Parents (2 adults) with 2 kids. We hope that we would get Christmas ambience. But alas, on Dec.26 they had removed the very simple Christmas tree (made by strings with some cadeaus). What does it mean? Christmas neglected in Accor hotels? No more christmas tree on Dec.26, it's quite amazing for me! So, if you would to spend Christmas holiday, you must know this hotel is not Christmas friendly.

The location offers very little except a large boring mall. The service was fantastic !!! Everyone was really helpful.

Direkomen. Kamar bagus sekali, sarapan enak, fasilitas memadai, karyawan ramah

Ample facilities. Nice location. Very clean.

We stayed at Ibis Styles for one night on our way to Toraja, and I loved the funky style of the hotel. We had initially booked a twin room, but upon arrival discovered that it was too small for our family of three. We easily upgraded to a suite, although it meant that one of us slept on a sofa bed (never fun, never comfortable). The hotel could use better soundproofing, but all in all, I would recommend it for a night’s stay—it’s clean, it’s close to some great seafood restaurants (RM Losari, for one), and the buffet breakfast, incorporating both Asian and Western food, was incredibly generous. But more coffee, please!

Very well-designed hotel, beautiful and modernized. Everything in the hotel is well designed, colorful and beautiful. However, I have to comment some points. One is the internet connection. It is working but slow. If you need rapid response, you had better to connect by tethering system of your mobile phone. Another is swimming pool. That was too small to swim, only for children's play. I also comment about the equipment in the room. I missed a hand towel or small size towel. Generally, they don't have a small size towel in Indonesian hotels. But it was inconvenient. It is better to bring small (hand) towels with you.

We stayed 2+1 nights at Hotel. Relatively new Hotel with swimming pool & gym. We get free Breakfast & freshly prepared eggs. Hotel is 1.5 km from Losari Beach (waterfront).
