La climatisation est trop forte dans la salle à manger, et le diner est quelconque.

Plus 1h avant d’avoir nos bagages . Repas au resto très moyen. Éviter absolument la salade au saumon.( salade toute petite pas pour un plat , beaucoup de poivrons verts et deux malheureux morceaux d’avocat et de saumon pas bon !!! ) Et le burger signature petit et rien de signature !!! Pâtes à la carbonara très bonnes.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026I absolutely loved how clean and comfortable the room was. Easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Makassar. The location is excellent and very convenient, with easy access to many of the places I usually visit whenever I'm in Makassar. I also appreciated the complimentary parking for guests. Most importantly, every staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.
The walls and doors seemed to be quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway could be heard quite clearly. I arrived late at night after a long journey and was hoping to get some extra rest, but I was occasionally woken up by guests talking, laughing, and closing their doors. That said, I don't think this is really the hotel's fault. Aside from the sound insulation, I had a pleasant stay overall.

The staff went out of their way to help us to get it to our new destination in less than 12 hours and with nothing missing - their effort saved our whole trip!
The music in the pool area was a tad too loud for our liking and there was no shower gel provided in the change room.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026I do love this hotel , every time we come to Makassar we stay here since we still believe it’s the best option amount all of them.
Unfortunately, this time, comparing with previous times, the breakfast got a huge downgrade. The food was “not very fresh”. We always choose this hotel not only for the comfortable of their rooms also because the breakfast use to be awesome. This time we were quite disappointed with the breakfast, actually it was exactly the same as previous times but now food is not that delicious. Fruits just to be fresh and sweet , now they look like they were prepare a couple of days earlier and some of them like honey dew completely impossible to eat it. Nasi goreng same stuff, croissants same stuff. So yes, we still had breakfast for 3 days because it was convenient and the place and staff are very nice, but please , come back to the previous standards when everything was delicious.

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025Excaptionally clean and beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of international as well as local specialisties. The quality was also of a very high standard. As I have been numerous times to Makassar and also know the other Hotels which play in the same league (e.g. the 4 Star Hotels located at the seafront),. the Hyatt offers a way better, more luxurious experience for the same price. In my opinion it is by a large margin the currently best choice for a stay in Makassar.
The only thing I was slightly disappointed, and this is very picky, where the bananas at the Breakfast buffet. As I am arriving from Europe, I am always going forward to taste the delicious flavours of a banana in Indonesia. Unfortunately the ones these had during my stay at the buffet tasted like our European banans. But as I said, this is literally the only «negative» point...and one I am happy to ignore given the rest of the experience at the Hyatt.

Il faut mieux insonoriser ce type de chambre au niveau de la porte de Communication. Nous avions l’impression d’être dans la même chambre.

The front desk team are exceptional from checking in to helping me organize my stay in Makassar. I have truly been looked after so well and that is why I have come back over and over again. In the front office team I would like to personally thank Reza who leads he's team with excellent leadership, Tari (who has been an absolute gem and has personally helped me with everything!) Puput, Ajie and Eva who are always smiling and really to help! I would like to mention Lili who is head of housekeeping for always making sure I am happy and confortable in my room. Lastly thank you to Monica for leading an Amazing team!

Salle de douche minuscule (ventilation hors service) avec WC inclus et vasque dans le couloir juste à côté de la porte ! Son seul intérêt, un très bon emplacement proche de China Town et de la Marina.

En dehors meme de ce qui fait leur corps de métier ,tout les personnels se sont surpassés pour nous aider a trouver taxis , magazin ,banque , tour opérateur etc ... Repas ,petits déjeuner succulents et copieux .

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Tolles Frühstücksbuffett!!! Freundliches Personal. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit kleiner Sitzecke. Bequeme Betten. Hotel in 1km Fußnähe zur Promenade. Bluebird Taxistation direkt vor dem hotel.
Das Zimmer war direkt neben dem Aufzug. Empfehlungen für die Stadt wären sehr schön gewesen. Late Checkout wurde uns für eine weitere Stunde kostenfrei angeboten, weitere 3 Stunden sollten 50% des Zimmerpreises kosten.

Pas de nettoyage de la chambre sous prétexte que l’on y était (on a proposé de revenir un peu plus tard…) L’emplacement est assez central proche de Losari place (1km) ou des axes principaux, mais les rues de Makassar à cet endroit ne sont pas très praticables à pieds

Je souhaitais juste qu’il m’apporte quelques informations pour organiser la suite de mon voyage Une odeur très désagréable voir nauséabonde dans les sanitaires de notre chambre. Le petit déjeuner : moyen hormis les jus de fruits qui étaient excellents. Je n’ai pas ressenti d’amabilité du personnel (il a même fallu que je rende à la réceptionniste le crayon prêté ) les bagages laissés à la réception car arrivée en matinée n’avaient pas été montés dans la chambre. Je suis rentrée tard et j’ai dû le faire alors que nous étions très fatiguée. Bref premier hyatt ou le service n’était pas au rdv

Obwohl wir eine Suite für 4 Personen mit Frühstück gebucht haben, sollten wir für die Betten und das Frühstück der Kinder immer extra zahlen. Bett der Kinder war auch nicht fertig, als wir spät abends ankamen. Eigentlich keine richtige Schlafcouch, sondern ein normales Sofa, wo was daneben gestellt wurde. Personal sehr freundlich, tausend Entschuldigungen, riesiger Süßigkeitenkorb, aber so ging es dann weiter, dass wir bei frühmorgentlicher Abreise für nur 2 der 4 Personen eine Frühstücksbox bekommen haben mit Sachen, die wir nicht mochten. Wir hatten vorher alles genau besprochen. Auch das bestellte Taxi zum Flughafen kam nicht wie vereinbart. Schade
