Very unique accommodation with lovely hosts and amazing home cooked breakfast in the morning. Beautiful location, lots of nice places to walk around and discover.

Such a beautiful hanok house and wonderful experience to stay there. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and breakfast each morning was a real treat. The location was perfect for us, there are lots of lovely little shops and the nearest palace is Changgyeonggung which is the smaller and quieter one away from the hustle and bustle. It’s stunning. Thank you so much for having us

We loved every part! Tall people may find showering difficult as the bathrooms are inset in the rooms but that’s the nature of the house and still well worth the experience.

Très bel hôtel traditionnel ! Une mention pour le déjeuner préparé à 9h avec des plats traditionnels excellents ;)) je recommande surtout pour l’expérience et sa localisation (aussi proche de la station Anguk)

The host are extremely kind. All guests have together an authentic Korean breakfast, which was delicious. The room is small but cozy and confortable. The hanok is very well located.

Maybe the breakfast could be anticipated at 8.30.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans ce hanok. Nous avons eu du mal à trouver l’hébergement, mais c’était uniquement parce que notre navigateur n’arrivait pas à trouver la destination. Le propriétaire a pris beaucoup de son temps pour venir nous chercher et s’assurer que nous arrivions en toute sécurité. C’est une attention que nous avons énormément appréciée. Il nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et a même offert une glace à mon fils et à moi, un geste adorable. Nous avons été reçus avec beaucoup de chaleur et de bienveillance. J’avais lu certains commentaires indiquant que les chambres étaient petites, mais c’est justement le concept d’un hanok traditionnel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette expérience authentique, qui change complètement des hôtels et permet de découvrir la culture coréenne autrement. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et mon fils l’a particulièrement apprécié. Cette nuit restera un très beau souvenir de notre voyage. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans la moindre hésitation. Un immense merci au propriétaire pour sa disponibilité, sa générosité et son accueil exceptionnel !

Bathrooms It was very awkward to get in It was inside the room but the door looked like a tiny cupboard door so you needed to bend your body a lot to get through it and at the same time take few steps. down. Breakfast was quite good but not very filling . You can't also choose time of breakfast (It's fixed)

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super - mitten im Bukchon Hanok Village. Man kann zu Fuß zu den Palästen gehen und in der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und sauber.

Es gab kein richtiges Bett, nur eine dünne Matte auf dem Boden, das machte es etwas unkomfortabel. Das Frühstück war lecker, aber es gab nur eine Schale Suppe und Kimchi. Ich würde wieder in dieser Gegend übernachten, in der Nachbarschaft habe ich einige "Premium Hanoks" gesehen, das wäre einen Versuch wert.

La proprietaria è molto gentile, ci ha consentito il late check-in e, sotto la pioggia, ci ha raggiunti sulla strada principale dove il taxi ci ha lasciati. La colazione è offerta. L’ambiente è semplice ma tradizionale.

Il bagno è esterno alla camera, ma al momento della prenotazione lo sapevo … è solo una piccola scomodità.

I liked that the property was very well kept. The owners very friendly and helpful. The breakfast delicious and varied. It s not a big room in case you have a lot of luggage but is wonderful. The location is quiet even if you are very close to all the touristic attractions.

Honok style house and its area. The host were very nice an accommodating.

Although we do appreciate the vintage atmosphere and experience, there are several areas that could be improved — such as much thicker bedding, an AC remote with English instructions instead of Korean, a small reading lamp or warmer light bulb for nighttime, proper clothes hangers, larger towels, and better attention to the toiletries and toilet bin. The furniture could also be better matched, and the room entrance layout would work better if positioned at the gate door and not through the salon kitchen.

This is a beautiful traditional guesthouse right within Seoul. Loved the wood and how intimate the setting was. Would stay again in the opportunity arrises!

Very nice host. Both very helpful and available all the time. Helped me with working out the washing machine and even finding a local doctor. Nice traditional breakfast. Very good place to see the real Korea. Good location, close to metro. The place is clean and well looked after.

We had a separate bathroom but very close to our room. It is traditional Korean hanok so the room is very minimalistic. Our room had no wardrobe and sleeping on the floor mattress, probably more suitable for younger people.

The bed was comfortable. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

Idéalement située dans le hanock, cette petite chambre est très bien tenue par un couple charmant qui répond immédiatement à toutes nos questions et demandes. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel servi tous les matins est excellent. J'y retournerai.

Pour y être reste 4 nuits cela ne m'a pas posé de problème particulier mais il faut savoir que la chambre est petite, au format standard dans ce genre de lieu, et le matelas est vraiment fin.

Cosy room, quiet neighborhood, convenient to walk to train/bus station. Free breakfast every morning at 9 am with the host and other guests. Highly recommended!!!

Joli petit hanok. C’est un choix de dormir sur des futons traditionnels, donc il faut accepter l’étroitesse de la chambre, la salle de bains dans le placard et l’inconfort. La chambre est certes petite mais très bien décorée, la cuisine est grande, invite à discuter avec les autres et met du café et du thé à disposition. Le petit déjeuner préparé par une gentille dame était excellent et nous avons apprécié l’accueil personnalisé du propriétaire. Merci !

Wow! This place is beautiful. Staying in this traditional hanok was an incredible experience—peaceful, authentic, and full of charm. The owner was absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay.

Personalet var virkelig venlige. Vi fik lavet hjemmelavet morgenmad hver dag, som var helt i top og hyggeligt. Derudover lærte værten os at lave traditionelt Hanji kunst. Det var virkelig hyggeligt. Kan klart anbefales. Derudover er lokationen god. Dejligt og roligt område.

Sengen var meget hård. Ens ryg skulle lige vende sig til det.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Mitten in der Altstadt. Viele tolle Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe. Trotzdem sehr ruhig und entspannt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind per Fuß erreichbar. Das Haus ist im traditionellen Stil und daher auch entsprechend ausgestattet. Man kann die Küche benutzen. Die sehr freundliche Vermieterin hat uns ein Frühstück gemacht.

The futons are very hard and I would not have stayed more than two nights from a comfort perspective.

Lovely rooms and beautiful location

The hosts were really lovely and helpful. Location quite good (easy walk to cafes around corner) and breakfast was traditional and very fresh.

The people who run it are absolutely lovely but the two rooms inside both open onto a communal kitchen (rather than to outside) so felt a touch claustrophobic (for me). It didn’t feel like a particularly private room (particularly if someone used kitchen) and the bathroom was incredibly tiny with a shower hand held over the sink. The whole place was smaller than what I thought.

Die Lage ist einfach nur top. Außergewöhnlich. Sowas muss man mal machen, wenn man in Seoul ist. Das Frühstück war auch ein Highlight. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren.

Tradiční hanok s vyhřívanou podlahou a spaním na zemi. Báli jsme se, že bude zima, ale bylo krásné teplo. Moc milí majitelé a ráno skvělá snídaně uvařená přímo před námi majitelkou.

Blanket was mostly like cover for me, but I am from Europe different standards. And Booking have bad location is not nearby Anguk station is 700m and accomodation is in the hills, so be prepared.

We loved our time there. Hosts were great, friendly and very sweet. Would definitely recommend it to all the people travelling to south korea and want to experience the warmth of honok house and korean people.

Très bonne adresse dans un Hanok rénové situé au sein de Bukchon village. Hôte très sympathique, très réactif et à l'écoute de ses clients. Le most du séjour est sans aucun doute le petit-déjeuner cuisiné maison proposé par notre hôte, que nous avons partagé avec les autres voyageurs présents dans le Hanok. Formidable souvenir pour ma fille.

Peut être l'isolation des fenêtres (malgré l'isolant actuel), qui laissait entrer un courant d'air froid dans la chambre. Mais le chauffage par le sol (ondol) assure dans tous les cas un chauffage effectif très satisfaisant pour le séjour en hiver !

Amabilidad absoluta, facilidad para dejar las maletas e incluso hacer el check im antes de lo previsto. Desayuno casero, y aunque no pudimos probarlo por que nos encontrabamos mal, nos lo dejaron preparado.

It might not be a good idea to live in it in winter for lack of heater. However, I think any season other than that would be very comfortable to stay in such a cool house.

That was unique experience to live in real hanok house, have traditional breakfast and embtace the culture. Location is just awesome - both main palaces in walking distance and the best shopping street! Really explore the local sellers, you will not find the same anywhere else in Seoul!

For me it was too warm as I am used to cold bedroom. The floor heating works perfectly. Bathroom is fairly small, but you expect that from traditional housing

Hosts are one of the nicest people I've met in Korea. Very helpful. Breakfast every morning was a really nice addition. It was also a great occasion to meet other people that stay in hanok.

The only thing that was a little bit lacking was a bathroom. You have to note that it is a traditional house, so the bathroom is really small, sometimes smelly. It was perfectly clean though.

If you wish to experience a traditional Korean stay at a Hanok, I would highly recommend Inwoo House! We stayed here for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. We were placed to the smaller room with a separate private bathroom next to the room. The other rooms are en-suite. The hosts are very welcoming and provided a home-cooked breakfast every morning, which is shared amongst all staying at their Hanok. A great way to also get to know some new people and get some great insights and travel ideas as well.

Lovely host, couldn't be more helpful. fantastic location in the old town, near the temples and walking distance to some super funky vibes eating areas.

Floor was a bit hard. A tatami mat would have been useful.
