Hanok Hotel DAAM Seoul

The hotel is brand new and the building is a modern touch on a traditional hanok. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. The staff is really cordial and super helpful. There's an airport limousine stop very close to the hotel and the latter is close to important palaces and museums, as well as a plethora of bars and restaurants.

The triple room is barely enough for two people with luggage and the shower room was very small. Yet, the room is really beautiful.

It’s not very sound proof - the nature of a hanok style accommodation and it is also a hostel style accommodation - so if you are a light sleeper or easily disturbed by other people, perhaps not the best choice

ホテル全体が綺麗だった。 朝食が日替わりでおいしかった。 スタッフが日本語対応してくれてたので安心できた。 寝ることを考えれば十分であった。

チェックイン時にドライヤーの使用時間についてなにも言われなかったが、真夜中に、ドライヤー使われるとうるさかった。シャワールームのドアの注意書きにNo Hairdrayer と手書きで書かれており、またランドリーにも夜21:00以降はご遠慮くださいとあったが、受付時にフロントで言われないと使う人がいるため、使用時間について受付時に伝えた方がいい。シャワールーム側の客室だったので、シャワールームのドアの開閉やシャワー音、ドライヤーの音が全部聞こえて、気になり、うるさかった。

방 안에 작은 선반이나, 의자 등 짐을 좀 올려둘 수 있는 것이 있었다면 좋겠다고 생각했습니다.

Very nice hotel near Anguk metro station. Everything necessary is nearby and the staff is very friendly. Beds are quite comfortable.

Even for a capsule hotel the storage space for bags is very limited (1x medium bag only). Bags can only be opened in the hallway while blocking other people's pods. Also the USB charging was unfortunately not working.

ロビーに飾られていた韓服を無料で借りることができて お庭で写真を撮ることができました スタッフのかたが親切に主人の着付けをお手伝いしてくれて二人一緒に写真に収めてくれました とても憧れていたので嬉しかったです ありがとうございました

階段の全ての階層にダンボールや荷物が積まれていて 屋上から見える南山タワー🗼は素敵なのに文化の違いかな？残念でした

This was, by far, one of the nicest and most comfortable stays that I've had. The hotel is spotlessly clean, almost silent, with incredibly comfortable beds and exceptional amenities (complimentary towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, laundry, heated toilets). The photos make the hotel seem very minimal, but in reality, it's comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is generous and delicious (fried rice, eggs, korean treats, toast, juices, soup), the perfect way to start your day. Walking distance to a few key cultural sites and an easy metro ride to the rest of the city. I've already started recommending it to others who are visiting and will choose this hotel again if I have another opportunity to be in Seoul.

As a solo traveler, there was no great opportunity to meet other people, however all the hotel comforts made up for this.

Sehr ruhig, sehr sauber, sehr freundlich, sehr sicher und entspannt Die meisten anderen gäste waren auch alleinreisende jüngere frauen, was zum Komfort beigetragen hat.

Las lavadoras estaban cerca de nuestra habitación y hubo huespedes que pusieron la lavadora a las 3am, lo que causó ruido durante la noche.

静かな環境と地下鉄へのアクセスも良く、便利でした。韓屋の雰囲気も素敵でした。ロビーは広々としていて、朝食もとても美味しかったです。

シャワーブースの利用に待たされることはありませんでしたが、脱衣場が無いため、工夫をしなければいけなかった。一部の宿泊客のマナーが悪く、共用スペースで不快を感じることもあった。

ロケーションがとても良かったです。どこに行くにも徒歩圏内、表通りからは少しずれているので周りも静かでした。スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、受付の人だけではなく、お掃除のスタッフさんも日本語英語対応できるので安心でした。

프론트는 호텔의 첫인상을 남겨주는 중요한 위치. 호텔리어 답지 않은 자세, 미소없는 시골 공무원같은 말투, 매일 보는 고객에 대한 무표정( 나이 드신 여직원에 한해서) 모든 것이 좋았는데 옥의 티로 평가 됨. 또 가고 싶지만 그직원이 그자리에 있다면 안 가고싶음.

La suite che abbiamo prenotato era accogliente, bella, silenziosa, funzionale e pulita. Letti comodissimi! Utilizzo gratuito di lavatrice e asciugatrice al secondo piano, la salvezza se si fa un tour di lunga durata. Gli spazi comuni interni ed esterni sono molto curati e riprendono lo stile abitativo tradizionale coreano, suggestivo.

Assurdo che si debba gettare la carta igienica nel cestino dei rifiuti invece che nel water, e che nella stanza non sia presente uno specchio a figura intera (ma entrambe le cose capitano abbastanza spesso in Corea). La colazione per noi occidentali è un no, scarna e soprattutto salata, ne abbiamo approfittato solo il primo giorno.

スタッフは、言語能力にたけており、聞いたことには的確な返事を下さる。施設は清潔であり、快適に過ごせる。

洗濯乾燥機が3時間半使用しても乾かなかった。洗濯物は少量だったにもかかわらず‥ わたし的には値段の割には1人分のスペースが狭く感じた。

Very pleasant rooms, common areas and shared bathrooms. It was always clean and smelling nice. Everything looks like in the photo. I knew the bed space was small, the breakfast is very nice, very delicious fried rice and eggs. Friendly staff, great location!

The bed space is as described in the photos, it is aligned with the price too, I cannot say I don’t like it. It might be a bit challenging if you have too much luggage.

Die Betten sind wirklich unglaublich bequem. Der Duschstrahl hat genügend Druck und die Dusche ist großzügig. Außerdem gibt es jeden Tag 200ml Wasser dazu, sowie Handtücher.

Die Ablagen bei den Betten und auch unter dem Bett hätten sauberer sein können. Es war da sehr staubig.

Le lieu est vraiment beau, le personnel attentionné. La cuisine est délicieuse et bonne pour la santé. J avais un couchage avec une fenêtre, le tout très propre et confortable qui me permettait une certaine intimité. Le couchage est uniquement fait pour dormir. Mais les espaces communs sont agréables, confortables avec thé, café, eau, offerts toute la journée et la nuit. Le bus 6011 de l aéroport dépose à deux pas de l hôtel. Et plein de bus pour visiter la ville. Je n ai pas pris le métro qui n est pas loin le plus, lave linge et sèche linge. J y retournerai.

Very clean rooms and common areas. Facilities are very nice and handy, but they are only available on the women only floors. Which is something to keep in mind. Very friendly and helpful staff!

The breakfast wasn’t great in my opinion.

繁華街からは離れており、女性が多く静かにゆったり過ごせました。朝食もスタッフの方たちがテキパキと作りたてを提供してくださり、大変おいしかったです。 日本語のできるスタッフさんがいて安心できました。

古いビルを改修しているようで、内装の雰囲気から想像してたイメージとは違いました。古いのでトイレに紙を流せないことが残念ポイントでした。

Me gustó mucho como tienen organizado el hotel. Las camas individuales están súper bien aunque parezca pequeñas no lo son, están súper limpias y el colchón es muy muy cómodo. El baño está súper limpio y tienen de todo. El desayuno es completo. La ubicación para pasear por Ikseong y ver los palacios está en 2 minutos. 100% recomendado

I loved this hotel. It was clean, efficient, not right at the centre where all the mad shopping things were, but close enough to walk to it and has plenty of really good things nearby (I recommend the bath house just across the road). We stayed as a family, but it looked like it had very nice hostel rooms for women only - I would do that if I was travelling on my own. Also it had a fantastic free laundry facility.

It's not right in the centre of Seoul - maybe a 20 min walk, but it depends on what you're looking for. It's very close to the Palace, which we didn't manage to visit!

Ambiance cosy, j'ai beaucoup aimé l'atmosphère. Literie vraiment bien, l'espace pour dormir faisait comme un petit cocon. Toilettes et salles de bains très propres et spacieuses. Personnel au petit soin. Excellemment bien situé dans le quartier. J'ai adoré

Dommage que certaines personnes ne respectent pas la règle de ne pas faire de machines à laver / sèche linge après 22h.

My expectations for shared room/ hostels are bit cheaper, preferably.

Très bien situé pour visiter les temples principaux, lit confortable bien que très exigu et bon petit déjeuner.

Peu de service à l’accueil, aucun concierge pour aider dans les transports de / vers l’hôtel ou la proposition d’activités. Peu d’espace pour se préparer et ranger les valises.

The atmosphere of the hotel, the cleanliness, bathrooms, beds, location, and staff were amazing. The hotel is right next to an airport bus stop, making it simple to go to and from Incheon Airport.

The hotel breakfast wasn’t to my liking, but I still ate there every morning and enjoyed not being hungry when I left the hotel.

We booked this as our first stay in Seoul and it lived up to our expectations! Excellent location, very clean, beautifully designed! Palaces are within walking distance to Changdeokgung palace is literally across the road, the folk music museum exceptional close by too. Local restaurants, coffee shops and 7/11 nearby. Very well connected by bus and metro. Good breakfast but could have varied from day to day, the washing machine was a little bit limited unless you had access to level 3 but reception was great at helping out. Quality amenities, comfortable beds! Adequate space for suitcases under the beds to get them out of the way!

Would have been lovely to have a couple of hooks in the bathroom.

Me and my son had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hanok Hotel DAAM. The hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing and transport links, it was exceptionally clean and the breakfast in the morning set us up for a busy day ahead. I liked the laundry facilities as this means we only need to bring carry-on baggage on our trip. Worth noting that this can only be accessed by women though due to the location in the hotel.

There was no view from our room although as we were only really here to sleep it was not a problem and the lovely decor made up for this.

Clean and comfortable room’s at great location. Nice bed, tidy room and (wet) bathroom. The area around Jongno/Ikseon-dong is amazing and quite local.

Perhaps a slightly tiny room and a bit poorly isolated. Otherwise great!

Ottima posizione, struttura molto pulita e accogliente. Staff disponibile e gentile. Ben servita da mezzi pubblici e in ottima posizione per visitare l’area a piedi.

La camera era veramente piccola per tre persone e lo “stile Hanok” pubblicizzato dall’hotel è meramente di facciata. La colazione non è male ma è poco varia e molto simile ogni giorno.

It was very pretty, and the breakfast was fantastic. That made up for a lot of shortcomings, honestly. It’s been hard for me to find food I like in Seoul and breakfast became my only meal when I stayed there. They had salad! And soup! Boiled eggs and fried rice. And rice tea. Loved the breakfast.

They don’t explain the bed differences with the different prices. So I booked the cheaper one after scouring for the difference and finding nothing. Apparently the next time I booked, I got the more expensive one so I experienced the upgrade. It’s a window that opens, and a shelf all down the length of the bed. It’s still a pain to access the power outlets unless you’re in the bed, and getting in the bed can be varying degrees of difficult depending on your body’s abilities and pains. It also felt pretty stifled with all the rules written everywhere. I get it… but… it felt like we weren’t supposed to talk to anyone, and that someone will report us and get us kicked out if we break a rule. But the guests were very nice. We all whispered to each other unless it was breakfast. Most of the staff were sweet. There was one guy on the night shift I didn’t like, but it was fine.

Cet hôtel a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Nous pesons nos mots en disant qu'il est mieux que ce qu'on pouvait imaginer. Le personnel de l'accueil, de propreté, du petit-déjeuner - tout le monde était extrêmement gentil et toujours avenant en cas de questionnement. L'endroit est propre et chaleureux. Le stockage de bagage avant/après avoir check-in/out a fait que nous manquions de rien. Le lobby ouvert 24h/24 nous a fait sentir confortables même quand nous y restions tard. Merci énormément pour ce logement plus que bienveillant. Nous le recommandons et y reviendrons dès que nous en aurions l'occasion! :)

En toute honnêteté, il n'y a rien que nous n'avions pas apprécié.

Był to nasz drugi pobyt w Seulu, hotel wybraliśmy po wielu rodzinnych konsultacjach i było warto!!!Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie, czysto, ciekawie, miło, obsługa zawsze pomocna i mozliwość porozumienia w języku angielskim. Na śniadaniach zawsze można było znależć coś dla siebie , choć trudno je nazwać kontynentalnymi, są takie typowe dla tego regionu. Dużym plusem były ekspresy na dolnym holu wejściowym, każdy może zrobić sobie kawę, herbatę. Dodam,że nie oszczędzaja na dozowaniu kawy , jest naprawdę mocna i wyrazista!!!

Za mocne oświetlenie włączników świateł oraz światło na czujkę w korytarzu.W pokoju jest nocą po prostu jasno i nam to bardzo przeszkadzało!!!
