Personnel discret et extrêmement accueillant. Séjour extrêmement agréable dans un riad très bien situé dans la médina et de plus à proximité d'un parking.

The staff was nice and room was clean and as advertised. Our host was Aziz and he was helpful. Breakfast was average.

The road to the riad was a bit shady and ac did not cool enough.

The hospitality felt a bit off when we arrived one we couldn’t find it easily the person who received us didn’t feel very welcome asking weird questions about religion the breakfast was just bread with spreads and it was our first day so we asked the host what all food is this or other questions he laughed and acted as if were dumb asking the question

Nice central location. Friendly welcome with tea. The room was a very good size and huge comfortable bed. Nice rooftop. Very kindly given a takeaway breakfast due to my early departure. I would stay here again.

Only stayed one night with an early departure so it wouldn't be right for me to comment on the facilities. The bathroom could be spruced up a little more. And the rooftop terrace is a good opportunity to create an amazing space.

The room was wonderful, the square and terrace with mature orange trees and central fountain was a lovely place to spend some time. Hammam was great too. A very relaxing Riad.

The breakfast was fine but needed a little more than the bred and cake with jams. Some fruit or maybe some nuts and seeds would have been nice.

I arrived late and was met at the door by one of the staff. They brought mint tea and some Moroccan biscuits for me to drink whilst filling in the guest information. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable.

They were closed for refurbishment on my return to Marrakesh! I will definitely try to stay there again.

Wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Riad war sehr ruhig, absolut kein Lärm, ideal um die Seele baumeln zu lassen und einfach nur zu entspannen. Der Hamam Service war sehr gut. Konnte es in vollen Zügen geniessen.

Vielleicht fehlt nur ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer aber ansonsten alles perfekt!

Die herzlichen Mitarbeiter, late Checkout war nach Absprache möglich. Sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war top. Wenn man das Riad verließ hat man geklingelt und wurde eingelassen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Der Weg zum Riad war etwas schwer zu finden. Es wäre schön, wenn das Riad eine Location angeben könnte, die man mit dem Taxi erreichen kann und man dort abgeholt wird oder der Weg beschrieben wird.

De riad zat dichtbij het drukke centrum, zodra je binnen liep was dat gevoel van drukte direct weg. Aziz was een fantastische host die ervoor zorgde dat je je op je gemak voelt, hij heeft mij ook geholpen bij het uitprinten van mijn boarding pass. Heerlijk Marrokaans ontbijt elke ochtend gehad. Hygiëne was uitstekend, dakterras was mooi, wat mij betreft alles perfect voor de prijs die je betaald!

Un petit coin de paradis au calme, au cœur de la médina, à quelques minutes à pied de la place Jemaa el Fna. Le dîner proposé le soir était excellent tout comme le petit déjeuner. Merci au personnel du riad pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Un excellent rapport qualité prix !

Très beau riad, certainement le plus beau que j'ai eu pendant mon séjour au Maroc. Son emplacement, à quelques minute de la place Jemaa El Fna est parfait Son personnel était à mon écoute et j'ai eu la chance de dîner aux chandelles sous les orangers du patio et ce fût un moment délicieux Je reviendrais sans hésitation et avec un grand plaisir.

Le patio du riad est agréable, le personnel a été très serviable. Le 1er jour, j'ai pu déposer ma valise très tôt en attendant que la chambre soit prête. J'étais logé dans la grande tente semi-rigide sur le toit, très spacieuse: peutêtre à éviter en plein été quand le soleil cartonne.

Ma seule remarque (parce qu'il fallaint en trouver une) concerne les oeufs au plat lors du petit déjeuner: ils étaient bien gras. Mais sinon, rien à signaler. Bon rapport (Qualité+Emplacement)/Prix

Très bien placé pour visiter la médina, quartier sympa et bien éclairé le soir. Chambre très calme la nuit car le logement est au fond d'une impasse. Aziz nous a très bien accueilli, il se souciait toujours qu'il nous manquait rien, il nous a même fourni un petit déjeuner à emporter le jour de notre départ où nous avions un taxi à 6h du matin et il est venu nous chercher à l'entrée de la médina pour nous guider jusqu'au riad.

Riad Maialou is a charming, cozy haven tucked away in an incredibly central location. Just a 2 min walk from the main road near Bab Lakssour: close enough to soak in the vibrant energy of the Medina, yet peaceful and easy to find your way back to after a busy day. Aziz, our host, was an absolute pleasure: warm, helpful, and effortlessly friendly. He made our stay feel relaxed and welcoming from start to finish. Unlike many places in the area, the riad is wonderfully quiet. It features a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the Koutoubia, and a serene inner courtyard with sound of birds, orange trees, and a small fountain which create a truly calming atmosphere. Our double room was beautifully designed, just like the rest of the riad’s tasteful style. Our king size bed was extremely comfortable, complete with a warm, thick duvet which we appreciated on our chilly night. The walk from the main street is a little winding and might feel slightly uncertain at first, but don’t let that put you off. The riad is absolutely worth it, and the area is both safe and peaceful. Overall, the pricing is very fair for such a stylish and comfortable stay in a prime location. They also arranged our airport transfer at a better rate than other riads we stayed at, which was a great bonus. I’d happily return in a heartbeat.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to consider a non-smoking policy, as smoke can be bothersome for non-smokers in shared spaces.

La personne à l'accueil etait tres intrusive. N'a pas apprécié qu'on refuse de passer par l'hôtel pour prendre un taxi, a lourdement insisté pour qu'on dine au Riad.

La nostra camera era davvero molto pulita, la colazione era semplice e buonissima. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile.

La gentilezza del personale, in particolare di Aziz, il factotum della struttura, è stata veramente eccezionale. Nella nostra stanza mancava una abat jour vicino al letto e a fronte della nostra richiesta si è subito prodigato per procurarne una. Colazione, preparata al momento in struttura, buona. Menzione speciale per l’esperienza di coppia del bagno turco della struttura con massaggio di un’ora, effettuato da due massaggiatrici esterne contattate dalla struttura, non incluso nel prezzo di prenotazione, ma veramente rilassante e piacevole, dopo due giorni passati a visitare Marrakesh, ci ha rimesso al mondo.

This riad is perfectly located—right in the heart of the city, yet tucked away on a peaceful street. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delightful, and the Hammam was a truly relaxing experience. Aziz from the staff was incredibly attentive and kindly reminded about breakfast, making me feel genuinely looked after.

迷路のような街の中心部にあり、かなり分かりにくい場所のため、迷っていたところスタッフのAzizさんが迎えに来てくれて、本当に助かりました。外観からは想像できないほど、中は素敵で清潔でした。スイートルームに家族で宿泊したのですが、とても広かったです。 Azizさんは顔を合わせる度に声をかけてくれて、とても親切にしていただきました。2泊の滞在だったのですが、もっと長く滞在したかったです。ありがとうございました。

We had such a lovely stay at Riad Maialou and honestly the best breakfast we had in Morocco. Big shout out to Aziz who was so welcoming and attentive. He greeted us with tea when we arrived after a long drive back from the desert, which was exactly what we needed. Our room was really nice and quiet and the riad itself has great facilities. I also had a massage while we were there and it was so peaceful, the perfect way to relax after a few busy days of travelling. The riad is right in the heart of the medina but once you’re inside it feels really calm and quiet. The location is great too because it’s not far from the main road and this area of the medina stays well lit at night so we always felt safe walking back. Would definitely recommend to friends or anyone visiting Marrakech who wants an affordable, authentic riad experience.

C’est un bon Riad, Aziz et tout le personnel sont très sympa. Il y a de bons petit-déjeuners. Le hammam et les massages sont très agréables. Je recommande fortement ce Riad.

Superbe riad, très bien placé. Merci à Nora pour son accueil, à Aziz pour sa gentillesse. Tout le personnel est adorable, le riad et les chambres sont très propre, très bien entretenu. Nous avons adoré le hammam. Les petits déjeuner et repas sont excellent et tout est fait maison, merci à la cuisinière. J'y ai séjourné avec mes enfants et nous y reviendrons.

Le petit-déjeuner, ayant eu une expérience dans un autre riad à Marrakech, le petit-déjeuner dans celui ci est trop léger. Manque de pain, de fruits...

This is a really nice Riad on the inside, it is beautiful, comfortable, modern, spacious rooms, beautiful courtyard, delicious dinner.

This Riad was pretty hard to find and a little sketchy feeling in the alleyways leading to it, the young kid attending the Riad was not trained well or prepared to deal with guests or customer service. He had us fill out all of the guest passport forms (the only time this happened our whole trip), and complained the whole way up the stairs as he helped carry one small carry on piece of luggage. We also scheduled an airport transfer ahead of time and confirmed that multiple times ahead and he acted like we didn't and was confused about everything we communicated with him. Then the shower drain in our room did not work and flooded our entire room. He tried to help mop up the water, but was struggling, so my husband cleaned the whole mess. Overall, this could have been a decent place to stay, but we just didn't have a particularly good experience with the attending staff. Also, if you want dinner there, you have to let them know way ahead of time.

Loved this riad. Peaceful and relaxing. It was perfect following a few days away in the desert and mountains. Staff very accomodating and breakfast was fabulous. Totally recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich gut gelegen, man ist direkt in der Medina aber auch innerhalb von 5 Minuten an der Bushaltestelle um in alle umliegenden Viertel zu fahren. Die Damen in der Unterkunft waren unfassbar nett und freundlich. Ich würde wieder her kommen. Es war trotz der tollen Lage sehr ruhig.

La struttura è davvero molto bella ed accogliente. Il servizio fantastico. Personale attento, professionale e gentilissimo. Abbiamo provato anche l’hammam ed è stato molto rilassante e rigenerante. Un momento di vero benessere. Una lode anche al cibo. Pranzo ottimo.

Joli Riad, bien situé et au calme. Notre chambre pour 4 était très spacieuse.

Nous avons dû sonner et frapper à la porte pendant dix minutes au retour du dîner; le gardien était malheureusement seul et occupé avec d’autres clients à l’intérieur. Pour info, le Riad propose un service taxi pour l’aéroport à 250 MAD, alors que Booking le propose à 140 MAD. Nous avons descendu les escaliers avec les valises dans le noir à 6h30 et n’avons vu personne en quittant les lieux.

We spent hours looking for the right Riad and now having stayed at Riad Maialou, I know this was the best choice! Really excellent location, so quiet. In the heart of the Medina. The "small" room we booked was far bigger than we imagined. Keep in mind there are lots of stairs everywhere in Marrakesh, and this Riad is no exception. Definitely book your arrival airport transfer with the Riad directly. We were met at Arrivals on landing in Marrakesh and guided to the hotel on foot from just outside the Medina gate. You have to walk approx 5min to get to the Riad as no cars are allowed inside. Navigating this if you have never been to Marrakesh would be a nightmare, so we are definitely happy to have had the pre-arrangee transfer. It was also really affordable and we paid at the Riad on arrival.

Keep in mind that this is a Riad (Geusthouse) and not a hotel. These buildings are old. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay for our 3 nights and would highly recommend it.

Reaching the Riad is quite difficult, not mapped properly, going through dodgy alleys with garbage, not in line with the " premiumness" of the accommodation. As with all riads, you have to climb narrow, short staircases with your luggage, and the room did not offer a fridge.

The riad is very nice, have a mini garden inside, new renowated. The terasse is beutiful and have a nice view in city one side. The breakfast could be more diverse.our breakfast here was the worst of the whole trip.I recommend to take hammam in this riad. The girl, which did hammam procedure was very professional and nice -Thank You.

Great central location and a hidden gem of the city, when you walk through the doorway you are great by a wonderful sight of orange trees, warm welcome by staff and a fabulous rooftop terrace to relax on and enjoy the sunrise, the bedrooms are truly wonderful giving you a unique stay

Sala was so friendly and helpful, bringing us tea when we arrived about 8pm. As everyone says about all the riads, and even thought I had made a little map, hard to find when you first arrive. We stayed in their tent on the roof, which was great, much larger than a normal room, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent. I was worried the "tent" might be a little cold, we were there in early March, but the temperature was perfect and there's an air con/heating unit if needed. It's actually a wooden box, but draped like a tent inside. Very cosy and there is only one small window with shutters and a curtain, so nice and dark in the morning, no waking with the dawn. Close to everything.

I think a little map that shows you how to get there from Bab Laksour would be very helpful!

Superb riad in the city centre with lovely staff. Can be a little hard to find, one or two extra signs would be nice. But the staff made up for it and were super supportive. The tent room is nice but slightly awkward if you're with friends as there is no seperation between the bathroom and the beds, just a sheet....

Rooms were quaint, staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Location of the Riad, had to walk through alleyways with a large bin. Our room on the ground floor was very noisy as it was close to the door and everyone had to ring the bell to get in. Motorbikes in the alleyways constantly, felt very uncomfortable and unsafe walking in the medina.
