Comfortable accommodation. Helpful reception staff. Complimentary hot drinks all day and fresh croissants for breakfast.

Having to pay 15GBP for parking. Our stovetop did not work. Limited TV channels.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights, the staff were very friendly as we checked in they mentioned complimentary croissants in the morning also tea and coffee in the reception area. The room was so comfortable and spacious, especially the bed comfiest bed weve slept in! We both especially loved the shower the pressure was perfect! On the 1st night we started cooking and accidentally set off the fire alarm, my boyfriend went down to reception just to explain and mentioned how we would go out for dinner instead but they insisted we continued with our cooking, she was very nice about the whole thing which made us feel more relaxed about it all. Would definitely stay in a roomzzz again 10/10

Great location and staff were really friendly.

Sadly , we do not feel it was value for money. We felt we spent a lot for what we had. The beds were very hard and the overall cleanliness of the room was quite poor. We noticed some black mould in the bathroom and lots of dirt. Travelling with a baby, this was not ideal.

Sleepless night, with noisy people next door had to complain at 2-30 in the morning as they were partying there was more people in the room than should have been, staff sorted the situation but ruined the next day for us as we were to tired to do much at all.

The flexibility and the drinks and croissants; and the facilities in the room were excellent

The air conditioning could be a bit better and the fan in the bathroom was very loud (but at least it went off quickly when you turned the light off 😊)

The location is fabulous, drinks machine in foyer and cold water also good. Nice and spacious and clean apartment with balcony and good to have air con on what was a very hot few days in Chester.

The decor is very sparse, perhaps female design touch needed! sofa exceedingly uncomfortable and chairs in balcony could do with a cushion or two. £30 extra for parking is also too much given the overall cost of the apartment for two nights.

The fact they offer a cot but don’t supply a mattresses, when I asked reception he said it was for safe sleep but handed me a load of sheets to put in the bottom? We have stayed in a lot of hotels with our daughter and a mattress is always in the cot? She had to sleep on the bed with us as it was safer than the cot. I feel like if you’re going to offer a cot then a mattress needs to be in it for the baby to sleep on it? A cot full of lose sheets is more dangerous?

We stayed at Roomzzz aparthotel and was pleasantly surprised by the setup of the hotel. Welcomed by ANDREA, who was very welcoming and explained how the guests were welcome to make use of the drinks machine and how fresh croissants are available in the morning, which she also provided us with a welcome croissant as she had some available which was lovely to receive on arrival. ANDREA also advised us where to go and sites to see having never been to Chester before, she couldn’t have been more helpful to be fair. The rooms were very spacious and had everything you could need and more, and all very, very clean and well presented. We will definitely go back, and Chester was beautiful, a very friendly, and charismatic City. Loved it. Thank you.

Lovely welcome . Loved the idea of free coffee and tea in the foyer available all day. We stayed in the penthouse suite . Was clean some stains in decor but nothing too bad . Lovely view from balcony .

Staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. fabulous location ,we stayed in the Aintree room, which was really lovely.

we could not get the cooker to work and there was no instructions. Also the freezer needed defrosting.

Amazing location right by the racecourse. Not far to walk into the city centre either which was brilliant. Nice 24 hour coffee/tea access (self serve) and lovely fresh croissants in the mornings also. Lovely and comfortable beds also - better sleep than at home! Bonus of air conditioning in rooms during hot weather too! Will definitely be back

The location was great and the staff were very helpful. Parking was useful as well! Useful having the fridge and cooking appliances there and a nice touch adding the croissant in the morning (unfortunately, I'm imgluten free, so I couldn't have one, but it was a nice touch anyway! )

The room was a bit dusty but its mainly because there was a lot of material objects in the room that collect it all up!

Great location with a room overlooking the race course. All areas kept spotlessly clean. Room great... clean, tidy, lovely comfy bed with crisp white bedding & bathroom with lovely white fluffy towels. Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again!!

We stayed here again for the 3 day Chester race meeting , which was perfect. Great location and service as usual from the excellent staff , especially Dan. We stayed in 2 of the Penthouses , which is lovely , but feel this year , they are in need of a little upgrade . Look forward to staying again.

Decor was a bit tired. Furniture a bit sparse, colourless and functional. Kitchenette very thinly equipped. No bread knife and none available from reception. Bathroom door doesn’t fully fully close or lock. Lots of chipped paintwork and veneers damaged. Nothing major, but not quite ‘executive suite’ standard.

Great position especially for the race course. Shops 5 mins walk .

First stay in a Roomzzz but it was ideal for us and excellent value. We could have eaten in as it had a Kitchen with fridge, hob & microwave. We normally have cereals for breakfast so no point paying for B&B as crockery, cutlery & kettle provided. Shame there aren't more of these at other locations. Would definitely stay again.

Coffee and Tea anytime (Lobby). Location (Room with beautiful view). Walkable. Close to many restaurants. Nice staff. Room was comfortable and clean. I will stay at Roomzzz Chester City the next time I visit Chester.

Penthouse suites are fabulous (book with Perks, it’s cheaper), great location and very helpful staff.

The car parking at the hotel was expensive. We parked in the public car parks close to the hotel this was OK but we were worried about the security for the car.

The room had everything we needed. The location was excellent, right in the city centre. Also liked the fact that you could get coffees from the coffee machine whenever you liked along with croissants in the morning.

It was unclean, old pistachio nut shells all over the floor behind a chair in the room, dust everywhere and there was contents in the fridge left from the previous guests.

I booked this for my husbands 60th. I booked the Ascot Suite as there were 3 of us. From start to finish it was amazing. The lady on the desk Friday when we arrived was so friendly, she explained everything from how to work the complementary coffee machine to where we needed to go once we left the accommodation. Nothing was a problem for her. The room was fantastic, views over the racecourse, the extra bed was made up for our son, all the facilities we needed were in the room. Coffee machine was complementary 24 hours and fresh warm croissants available 8am until 10am also complementary. We were told it was limited parking so booked else where, but on arrival we found plenty of parking spaces. You have 30 minutes before being charged, plenty of time to unload or pack up. Very close to center, a 5 minute walk if that. Absolutely recommend.

I work overseas and needed a place to return to the UK, AND work nights. Roomzzz Chester has the full kitchenette, dishwasher, high speed WiFi (x00 Mbps), a proper desk, and a TV you can double as an HD monitor if it's a room with the TV on the desk. Hot shower, free coffee machine, 24/7 reception, and free washing machines + tumble dryer. I could not fault it, and a particular call out and thanks to Andrea who made it feel like home for 3 weeks, as well as all the staff met during day and night shifts.

The room was ready when we checked in a little early. All the staff we encountered were really friendly. The apartment was really spacious, modern, warm and with everything you could need in the kitchen. The shower was spacious and really hot. We had a lovely view over the racecourse. There were free hot drinks in reception 24 hours and croissants for breakfast. Great stay at a good price.

Great location. We were only there for 1 night, but there are kitchen facilities if you want. Complimentary hot drinks in reception, and croissants in the morning. Toiletries in the room, tea and coffee, and washing up liquid etc. Will stay again.

There are road closures at the moment. We wasted about 20 minutes trying to get to the hotel. Sat nav was guiding us down the closed roads. Maybe, give guests an idea of the best roads to take, we got there by fluke in the end.

3 staff on reception during my stay were excellent, helpful, chatty. Access to snacks and cool drinks without having to tussle with a machine was great .. the free coffee/tea machine was superb and free croissants in the morning and excellent start to the day

Great stay , all you could need , location is spot on great view across racecourse . Fully equipped with nice little extras . Staff super friendly. Would book again next time . Few minutes walk into the high street .

location was lovely and quiet. Views and kitchen facilities were very good . Bed was very comfortable and staff on reception at all times were lovely helpful and always tried to help. Couldn't fault the staff as they were great. complimentary coffee 24/7 and breakfast croissant very nice.

Apartment was a little tired in paint/decor and outdoor balcony furniture was not great. Rattan Sofa and chair only and cushions on them were poor I felt penthouse suite. Balconies not very private ,open view to apartments next door each side which was a little disappointing .

Staff really friendly and was very accommodating to our needs. Beds comfy and the view looking over the racecourse is stunning. Would stay here again.

Great location, few minute walk out from central Chester. Facilities clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately only one staff member on site which delayed our check in. Showers are almost like wet rooms so water gets absolutely everywhere (though this may be user error, happy to admit if the case.) In addition, AC made a strange buzzing sound two times throughout the night, only turning off after we fiddled with the control panel.

Great location, safe, always someone on hand to help. Quiet place- perfect for me and my toddler - very accommodating. Best pricing I could find.
