Awesome staff and well appointed facilities!! The breakfasts were divine! Wendy & Stanley were fantastic together with their team and made us feel welcome from the first hello. The location is very central and made walking everywhere quite easy.

Superfijne accommodatie. Veilig je auto parkeren achter een eigen hekwerk en hulp met de koffers. Gratis update gekregen en heerlijke grote kamer met fijne bedden en twee badkamers. De dames leggen je echt in de watten en zorgen voor een zeer ontspannen verblijf. Fantastisch ontbijt waar je echt niets te kort komt. Prima ligging en slechts 400m wandelen naar heerlijke restaurants. Beveiliging in de straten is preventief maar geen moment nodig. Kortom niet twijfelen maar gewoon kiezen voor dit heerlijke guesthouse!

The location is perfect, rooms luxuriously comfortable and perfectly clean. The staff is excellent! Very helpfull in every way and it must be the best breakfast in Franschhoek.

What we loved most about Le Fleur de Soleil was the wonderful combination of a beautiful property, spacious accommodation and truly exceptional hospitality. Our suite was extremely comfortable and generously sized, with a private balcony and magnificent mountain views that made it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Franschhoek. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The selection was extensive, beautifully presented and of excellent quality, making each morning something to look forward to. Above all, it was the people who made our stay so memorable. Victoria is an exceptional host whose warmth, attention to detail and thoughtful recommendations made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our visit. Wendy, Patricia and the entire team were equally warm, attentive and welcoming. Franschhoek captured our hearts, and Le Fleur de Soleil played a very special part in that experience. We arrived as guests but left feeling we had discovered somewhere we would genuinely love to return to.

The welcome and services by Wendy were amazing. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The massage service was also good. All the staff were helpful in what to do, where to eat, etc especially Stanley. Communications prior to arrival and wine tasting itinerary arranged for the day of departure was excellent. Location was good and we felt safe walking to the main street which was 10min away. Breakfast was also amazing especially when it was serve in our room one morning.

Excellent location to walk and explore Franschhoek, we felt thoroughly spoilt and looked after throughout our stay. We were spoiled with delicious breakfast, lovely local coffee and preserves. The team were so thoughtful and thorough, remembering our (delicious) breakfast choices each day and checking to make sure we were happy with things throughout our stay. We were supported in making travel arrangements to the airport, advice on things to do and places to eat/drink/explore. The room was clean and thoughtfully put together, and the team kindly let us stay for a late checkout as we had a late flight home.

Exceptional service, Stanley and his team were lovely attentive hosts. We were greated with a glas of bubbly and received an upgrade. The highlight was a wonderful breakfast served in the room.

This place, like many of the small boutique hotels/inns in Franschoek is in a good location, off the Main Street but close enough that you can walk or ride easily. They also have an arrangement with a local gentleman that will transport you, like a private UBER driver, and they can just add his fares to your room tab. Very helpful service. The breakfast is 5 star, and you can spend a long time lounging having breakfast if you like. They have a rather extensive menu for a small place, which was nice. Food was very good and hot dishes came out hot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we even enjoyed our conversations with the manager and the owner. The room was large and always clean. We were on a long trip and they even did our laundry. Love this!

The dining area inside is small and we were there in winter so outside dining was not possible so it can be a bit cramped. We enjoyed meeting and talking with others and the staff so not a big deal for us. I guess I would say that I did not like that we had to leave because they made us feel perfectly welcome and at home.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The suite was incredible, the made to order breakfast was delicious, and all of the staff were so warm and helpful. The location is very close to the main street so you can walk everywhere. We also really enjoyed the massages and the wine experience that we booked with the hotel. We will be back!

Beautiful Guesthouse in beautiful Franschhoek! All staff are outstandingly friendly, helpfull and knowledgeable. Nice pool and comfy garden furnishings. Loved the artwork in the bar and lobby area. Superb breakfast! The room was very comfortable, the bed and bedding a pleasure!

Our room was a definitely on the compact side, given it was one of the more expensive places we stayed at during our 5 weeks Soth African road trip we would have liked it a bit taller. But then, of course, this is also beautiful Franschhoek and not Stellenbosch....

Beautiful property in Franchhoek very conveniently located near the main attractions. We loved our room. The team was very kind to upgrade us to a suit upon our arrival. Delicious breakfast as well. Highly recommend this place.

Weather was very chilly and no indoor options for seating for breakfast. Rooms are very nicely appointed but very small.

Comfortable room, pleasant helpful staff, good breakfast. Good accommodation for anybody wanting to walk into town to FLF venues and many restaurants etc.

Only 3x inside secure parkings. We arrived separately in 2x vehicles and had to park outside on the street (property does not have its own security guard). Could have been mentioned on our email or phone communication. Comfortable bed and room but open-plan bathroom area not our preference. Perhaps mentioned but I didn't pick it up on the booking site. Too many outside security lights around room, even with blinds closed. A personal preference but property restricted to a big house and pool area, not enough open area/gardens. We prefer a feeling of open spaces with views. A plan was made for breakfast in the reception lobby because a chilly morning - special effort was made and appreciated - but felt a little crammed and adhoc.

Th experience overall was one of disappointment for a 5 star establishment. It is very small, with hardly any garden, no proper breakfast room. The suite was quite average with basic amenities missing like extractor fan in bathroom, no block out curtains (only shutters), no proper tea selection, basic toiletries etc. Can be a bit noisy with neighbouring dogs barking a lot.

Very small guesthouse with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and enjoyed sitting out by the pool. It was around a 5 to 10 minute walk into the centre so perfect location which felt very safe.

Schönes Gästehaus in Franschhoek, günstig gelegen um in die Hauptstraße zu laufen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Lokale Kunst im Haus gefiel mir gut.

Ich brauche keine 5 Dekokissen auf dem Bett, die ich dann im Schrank verstauen muss, dies gilt aber für fast alle Unterkünfte🤷‍♀️.

The staff, namely Stanley, Patricia and Melony were friendly and did their best. The bed was comfortable, the suite spacious and the breakfasts were excellent! The B & B was nicely located just a 5 minute stroll to the Main Street. All in all, a nice place to stay!

The reception closed at 5.30 pm so this really is a B & B rather than a hotel. Other tourists we spoke to all felt the prices in Franschoek were far too high compared with other places in South Africa including the accommodation. One note, please upgrade the hairdryer and toiletries!

The new breakfast menu is somewhat busy and offered far too much choice and often caused confusion with the staff on what you chose. Didn’t expect to be charged for a bottle of water and felt that was petty and unnecessary. Water should be complimentary.

The place is immaculate and in a quiet setting a very short walk from the main Street with bars, shops, boutiques, etc. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We had the smallest room which had blinds that were permanently shut so the room was without natural light and so no view at all Parking for three cars was at times awkward.

We loved our stay here. We were blown away by the personal attention from the staff. They were extremely helpful and attentive, available to us at every stage of our stay. Every aspect of this guesthouse exudes pure luxury, making it a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend !

This was genuinely one of the best guest houses my wife and I have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate and beautifully looked after, and we were kindly allowed to check in a little early which was a really nice start to the trip. Our room was amazing. A huge, very comfortable bed, air con, high ceilings, and a massive bathroom. Everything was spotless, and the minibar was properly well stocked, which is always appreciated. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Plenty of food, cooked to perfection, the mushrooms in particular were incredible. The location is perfect too. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk down to the High Street. The staff also suggested a lovely little restaurant and craft beer microbrewery nearby which we really enjoyed. If you want to go further afield there are plenty of Ubers and private transfers available. There is secure off-street parking on site (although it felt safe enough on the street as well), the free guest Wi-Fi was more than fast enough, and it was nice and quiet while we were there. What really makes Fleur Du Soleil stand out, though, is the team. Everyone was friendly and genuinely accommodating. Stanley, the manager, was fantastic and took the time to talk us through vineyard recommendations and what each place specialises in, which made planning our days so much easier. We honestly cannot fault anything. The only downside was that we were not there for long enough. We will 100% be back and next time we will stay longer. Thank you to Stanley, Victoria, and the whole team for an unforgettable stay.

We stayed a total of 5 nights in the hotel and we can highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful in all our requests and made sure that we had a great stay. The breakfast served was fantastic, we could choose the time when it's being served in our room or alternatively in the hotel lobby. Stanley and Victoria were helping us with bookings for restaurants and transportations which was very convenient for us. The location is great, approx. 5min from the main road which made it a easy walk and was also calm during the night. The hotel room was very clean.
