Emerald Boutique Hotel

A small local Filipino hotel , very friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Note that it is catering to Filipino rather than European guests , so expecting a European breakfast is unrealistic, especially at the price that is being charged. There are hotels that focus on this market with equivalent prices, which I don’t think represents good value, with them you’re paying for the name. Note also no elevator, so if you’re challenged by stairs I would consider a different venue.

The air conditioning was quite noisy and the room itself as well.

Location is good, walking distance to a lot of restaurants/cafes/eateries, including SM. Room is spacious, bed comfy, and wifi is strong. Receptionists are approachable and polite. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of food - although on our second day, food seemed to have run out by the time we got there at nearly 830am.

The key card was always a problem every time we went out and get back to the room key card was not working. We need to go down at the front desk for them to manually open the room.

Couldn't pay my bill with my credit card. We ate in the dinning room. Have to he honest, we were not impressed with our meal. Breakfast was disappointing based on our previous stay.

It was a standard room there was nothing special about it

- we had to pay an extra 500php for the generator. I would assume that electricity is already part of the package that I had pay for - the breakfast was so so - there was visible mould by the bed - no lift

No elevator, my wife which is pregnant along with her senior citizen mom it is really difficult without elevator.

I really like the way the staff treats us and as this is our first time in Bicol,they make our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect,near to everything. And Mayon will always say hello every morning when we woke up.

Teníamos que hacer el check out a las 4:00AM, informamos en recepción que sería sobre esta hora, y el chico que había en recepción cuando llegó el momento no sabía muy bien cómo hacerlo, y estuvimos un poquito de tiempo ahí perdido, que llegamos justos al aeropuerto. Pero por lo demás todo genial

Accessibilty of the hotel to the venue of the event I attended last night. Staffs are so accomodating and always wearing big smiles. Foods served during breakfast were pretty good. The dining hall was fine. Clean and conducive for meal time. All in all I like the place and worth recommending. The price is a bit high. Anyway, this is my second time and looking forward for more stay.

The tv or cable network was not functioning,but they put in on the inclusion. Quite misleading. The.A/C was a bit noisy. And worst the internet connection inside the room is so weak.

I really liked staying at Emerad Boutique Hotel because the staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained, which made our experience comfortable and relaxing. One of the best things about it is its convenient location—it’s close to major tourist attractions, so getting around was super easy. Overall, it was a great place to stay and made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The staff are helpful and very courteous, always with a smile. The breakfast was delicious. This is my go to place whenever I need to stay overnight in Legazpi.

For the price, this was a surprisingly good hotel. The style and decor are very tasteful and modern, specially the dining rooms (the bedrooms are more basic). The food was great (try their Laing!), and got a simple but very substantial buffet breakfast. Staff were very pleasant to deal with.

The hotel needs to repair and refurbish some of its facilities. The first room we were given had a defective keycard slot, which caused the aircon to turn off by itself every few minutes. We were immediately given another room, however this one had a defective keycard reader; to get back in after breakfast, we had to ask the staff to get us a physical key. While we were informed of this beforehand when transferred, and were ok with it, it does show the hotel needs more timely maintenance.

Staff were approachable and very accommodating the only concern is the restaurant downstair was smelled sewer that i cant bear to eat my supper nor breakfast the next morning.

This hotel is so nice and perfect. I really enjoyed my stay. Beds comfortable, close to shops and dining. Helpful staff and great vibe.

Everything was great. This is my go to hotel whenever I need to stay for a few days in Legaspi City.

Need new towels, aircon too noisy and shower is dripping low on water. Otherwise staff is very helpful, gracious and recommendable especially the receptionist during the day

The hotel was in a great location, right near restaurants and easy to get Grabs to the lake and the views of the volcano. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

The room smelt very bad and the room was also damp. Therefore you were left feeling very sticky and you did not want to spend time in the room. The staff offered us another room but when we viewed it, it was the same. Another guest was also complaining for the same reason. As a result we checked out a day early, but we still had to pay for the hotel for the night we did not use. Our other complaint is that the breakfast was very limited if you are vegetarian. Only bananas and cereal. The main food was catered with Filipino meals that contained meat. There was also only a coffee pot but no other drinks available. There is no bin in the room which wasn't great. The Aircon machine was very loud and this woke us up early in the morning. We did not use ours, the noise was from the other rooms so that was frustrating.

Centrally located near the old Albay district. The room quality is acceptable for a short stay.

The window in my room was very small, and the view was poor (backyard), but it depends on which room you get. Breakfast selection is very limited (forget good coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon, vegetables, fresh juice).

There’s a hiding fees and additional charges that does not specify in the website they are not true to the expedia deliveration of terms they’re cheating and lying to the customers

Reception staff were very friendly and helped us a lot. The hotel was in a convenient yet quiet area. We had the standard room which was adequate for our needs. A great base to explore the area including Mt Mayon.

In a great location in Legazpi, walking distance to a few food restaurants and bars. A short Grab ride to the SM. An amazing deal when compared to the Marison, or Lotus Blu, both of which I would say don’t do as good a job as the Emerald.

the room, bedsheets, bathroom were clean. all the staff were helpful and accommodating. they helped us locate Mayon Gold, a chocolate factory,not seen in Waze and Google maps. they extended much effort for us to be able to go there. they were efficient in their front desk and kitchen staff because they prepared sandwiches for our breakfast because we left at 2am. the comfortable room was neat and tidy. the bathroom had hot water🥰🙏 it was worth every centavo......a must stay in Bicol🥰🙏

A small well run CLEAN hotel. Great value for money.

The room is spacious and facilities of the hotel are clean. Breakfast can be served buffet-style, but it's important to wake up early :P The staffs are accommodating.

Be prepared to carry your luggage as there is no elevator in the hotel.
