Reviewed Sep 16, 2026ベッドに4つのコンセント、ライトがあり便利でした。 シャワー、トイレは今まで利用したほかのホステルの中でもとても清潔で、polaのシャンプーなども設置しており、タオルは100円で借りることができました。 女性用更衣室は小物を収容できる小さなロッカーや鏡があり使いやすかったです。 宿泊の前後では簡易的なラゲージルームに荷物を置いておくことができ、移動が楽でした！ エントランス兼バースペースでpc作業することもできました。

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Air Osaka Hostel is located a bit south of the Center of Osaka but that is no problem more of a benefit actually. The Hostel is away from the hustle and bustle of Oksaka which makes is quite tranquil you could say. The house is a traditional Japanese home just functioning as a hostel. It isn’t kept to the most extreme and it doesn’t have to be to to feel homely. The owner is a great guy who will help you with almost everything.
The only few things I could say is that during the summer heat some rooms (shower, toilet) do get quite hot, but in the sleeping quarters there is an air conditioning. The other being the street noise which is noticeably but I haven’t had problems with.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026This is one of my all-time favorite hostels. The location is perfect if you want to actually experience the local side of Osaka, with cafes and bars and restaurants full of friendly faces. There's also now a really nice free breakfast of two onigiri and miso. If you want amazing coffee, Franz is right around the corner and the owner is an icon. The hostel is also close to the metro Y line, one of the best bars for chat and beers (O'Hara- owner is a legend) and Family Mart. Beds are conformable, have outlets, and Tomo the owner is incredible. Not to out myself but I've accidentally left my passport there and separately had to have a JR pass mailed there and he helped me out. I'd skip Tokyo I wouldn't skip Air Osaka. If you want to meet people, chat, have beers, or just have a chill place to come back to at the end of the day, you can't do better.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026掃除が行き届いていてすごく清潔でした。泊まる部屋以外に、荷物を置いておく部屋兼ドレッサースペースがあって、とても快適でした！オーナーの方もフレンドリーで、1FにBarスペースがあるのも良かったです。1Fのラウンジが24時間使えるのもありがたかったです。
キッチンが小さめなので、混み合うこと。でも，みなさん譲り合いながら使っていました。キッチン用品がもう少し充実したらもっと使いやすいかも。

Bedroom was very small so have to store all luggage in a separate dressing room area, which is fine but not ideal of course. The kitchen is very small so only really good for one person at a time to cook. The area is nice but a bit further out of town so transport to get to some of the main sites/day trips was a bit long.

Noise of motor bikes going pass, which the hostel can not do anything about. I've stayed in other parts of Osaka with the same problem!!!

The fact that the hostel is a traditional Japanese house makes it all the more charming, offering travellers a different perspective on their journey. I spent four weeks there exploring Osaka and the surrounding area without any problems; the subway, supermarkets, laundrette and restaurants are all nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful at all times, and you will be amazed by the artistic murals :)

The owner is very kind and has an overall calming energy to him. The place is welcoming, homely, relaxing and definitely has its own personality. All the staff here are fantastic, super helpful and are the last pieces that create a whole. I really like the common spaces, the Kotatsu is a great addition here.

ほとんど困らず快適に過ごさせていただけましたが、人の多いときの玄関の靴を置く場所がやや狭かったかなとも思いました。（靴をビニール袋などに入れて部屋まで持っていっても良かったかなとも後から思いました。）

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Not a bad hostel for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was a good social vibe there. The dorms were small but each bunk had a lockable storage area, which was nice. When I got there I accidentally fell asleep for two hours, so the beds were pretty comfortable haha. There’s interesting “words of wisdom” written on the walls all over the hostel so you can be entertained as you’re sitting on the toilet.
The building’s a bit old, but that didn’t really bother me. Low doorways so watch your head! It’s a bit far from central Osaka but the train station is a 3 min walk from the hostel so still convenient.

Some of the guests had their alarm clock on at 06:00 in the morning but thats nothing bad about the Hostel just about some guest

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Blueline ( Midosuji) erreicht man sämtliche Vierteln in Osaka mit geringen.Aufwand..Es befindet sich ein sehr schönes Einkaufszentrum in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Viertel Kita-gagaya wurde zu einem.Kunstviertel umgestaltet und es gibt sehr viele Möglichkeiten der Unterhaltung und zur Erfahrungserweiterung.. Das Hostel verfügt über Fahrräder.

トイレが男女共用。綺麗に清掃されてはいるが、足の甲に隙間のあるトイレサンダルに小が飛び散っているためサンダルを履くのに躊躇した。女性専用のトイレを用意するのが難しいのであれば、せめて男性も座って用を足すように促していただきたかった。
