Very nice owner, or rather very nice family. We felt very well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Thank you for everything! And the best thing was that the accommodation was very centrally located. Breakfast was also good.

Unfortunately, our bathroom had no window and no ventilation, which is why it smelled a bit unpleasant. However, that was also the first room in the accommodation. Our daughters' room on the first floor was great – and the bathroom there was also fantastic.

The landlord is very polite and inteligent person who told me a lot of information about Sri Lanka and his religion. Breakfast was tasty

I had booked the room on either the 19th or 20th of July for a stay on the 8th and 9th of August. However, just three days before my check-in date, the motel informed me that the room was unavailable because it had been reserved for a longer stay. They claimed this was due to a “system update error,” which allowed my booking to go through. They offered me another room, but I told them to cancel my reservation — and they still haven’t replied. Very poor customer service.

Booked this place for my clients but moved to J leaf.. Negombo.. late with prior notice Everything was perfect.. keep it up guys good luck.

First of all I booked the room with bathtub and I arrived the place exactly at 2pm but more than 35mns they put us on waiting on the lobby after the 35mns one boy came and told us the room you booked is currently in the repairing condition from today morning the AC isn't working properly so we are going to give you an alternative room until we fix the AC after you can shift the room so we accept the offer because the traveling tired and we need to take rest immediately and I booked this resort based on the booking.com review 2- the room they gave us is really in por condition all bedsheets and pillows are not clean and it's smells like a a old and the certains not worked properly I tried to open a certain it's completely fall off from the fixing and the water in the bathroom is yellow coloured I called the management and one guys came to analyse that and I told him about the water issue he casually saying maybe the water tank is not clean that's why the water is yellow and he came with a ladder and start to fix the certain area..? Just imagine you are traveling more than 150km to take a getaway with your couple and when you trying to take some rest in the room you booked - if someone came with ladder and start to fix the repairing....awwwwww it's terrible no fridge in the kitchen only one old rusty common fridge available in the lobby areas it's in the ground floor so if I need to access the fridge I have to down 2 floors every tym, in my life this is the worst experience ever forget to say something they room they gave as also have a Thing called AC but we can't control it. I tried to set low temperature but it's completely stopped so again the guys came and told us to don't use the remote because it's an old AC. 😂💔 Definitely 1/10 for this resort

A very good place with cool and calm vibe. staff is super supportive. They respect your privacy and provide anything you need. They kept open the gate until you return to premises.

Parking inside premises is very limited. You can squeeze one small car and medium size vehicle. parking available along side the road.

After having this hotel booked and confirmed through Agoda for 7 months was most surprised to get a message while transiting in Doha from the hotel asking to confirm our booking which I did by return email. On arrival in Colombo got another message saying due to Agoda not confirming our booking there was no room at the hotel, and they would transfer us to their other property. When we arrived at the hotel they did take us to the other hotel as they said, we stayed there for two nights, looking at the photos of 8plus motel and where we got transferred to I think the replacement hotel was not the same standard, as we were only staying two nights at the start of a four-week holiday we decided to put up with the alternative accommodation and not get annoyed and not let it taint our holiday. Personally, I think they had overbooked and that's why they moved us, I have booked dozens of hotels through Agoda and never had a problem with them.

Unfortunately I couldn't swim.. we missed that. I like the swimming pool and the very good service.. The staff was very helpful and kind.

The entire motel there was no lift. It was quite difficult to get up or down with baggage/luggage .

One can clearly tell that this was once a premier destination and had all the makings of a really good stay; unfortunately on several counts things fell short.

We stayed in two different rooms as a party of nine. The AC leaked in two of the rooms; the sheets had stains on them and the tap was loose in one of the rooms; the bolt for our bathroom door did not work, and there is no shower curtain; one headboard came loose when we leaned a bit into it (the staff fixed it but it happened again).

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The washrooms were well-maintained, and the towels were fresh. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and nearby restaurants

Everything about the hotel was excellent, and I honestly have no complaints. There was nothing I didn't like.

I liked the concept behind the motel room.in the expense of a very low cost, they have build a satisfactory room. It was a spacious room.first thing I didn't like was the room I got was not the room I reserved.there were several things I think they have to improve as a accomodation provider.I'll not going to mention them here as I informed them during the stay.

I went here with my wife and family friends.. It has a beautiful environment.The fool is quite small but clean. This place is perfect for enjoying with friends. Overall, it can be said that it is a very good place.i can recommended it... You can also try this place ❤

I had glass door as the wall which made me feel insecure

Place is nice. But pool area should be more clean and there was some bad smell around the pool area. This place is surrounding by lot of noises which is coming from the vehicles running front of the hotel because this hotel is facing to the main road in Negombo, but that noises are not hear you when you are in the room close the doors properly. and also there is small nice garden. The guy who was there at the front desk, he is very nice. You can’t take the meals from the hotel, at least there is no any ala-carte menu or something. You have to bring your meals from outside but you don’t need to worry. There are so many restaurants and shops are there near to the hotel. Although, our overall experience was nice.

Since it was a festive season it was noisy with the prayers on the speakers all the time. Wifi was connected but not loading properly. In the booking app it showed 52 M^2 but it was not might be 19M^2.

We took this property through AirBNB mainly because it was near the airport and since we landed at midnight with 9 pax, we needed a place to stay within a short distance. Host was very accommodative, nevertheless there's quite a substantial room for improvement. AC was poor, light switches were confusing, water heater wasn't functioning and lots of mosquitoes. Since we just stayed a nite, we didn't make a big fuss about it. Breakfast was good, decent western. Overall I would say good for a stop over night not for a real holiday stay!

Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing ample space to relax. The host was very hospitable and made sure our needs were attended to promptly. However, one area for improvement would be the water pressure in the bathroom. It would enhance the overall experience if the water pressure were stronger. Nonetheless, I had a positive experience and would consider staying here again in the future.

Lovely pool and common area. Big spacious rooms staff were lovely welcomed me with cold towel and drink which was very much needed!!

Little bit run down in places but nothing major.

We didnt expect the place to be the way it was. Had a modern look that most of the places in this range don't have. The facilities were ok and the rooms are comfortable.

When we arrived there was no staff to be found anywhere. Even our driver wondered if this was really your hotel. The sheets were dirty, as were the floors of the room. Also, no one answered the hotel number when I tried to call to inquire about things. It wasn't until later in the evening that the hotel owner got in touch via Whatsapp and we were able to agree on the next day's airport transfer, etc.

There is not always a person at the reception desk so it can be hard to get someone to help you

The staff was really kind hearted and the place was as described in the photos. The vibe inside the hotel was phenomenal with soft music in the background throughout the whole day and night. The rooms were pleasant to walk into and we had all our amenities refilled ASAP when we asked them to.

I felt a bit lost when I first entered the place as there was no one in the reception. It was only when I called them that I confirmed my booking.

It was so amazing staying at 8 plus. That living area was amazing.

We stayed on arrival and pre departure and used the airport transfer which was very smooth. Amazing helpful family. Very safe place for travellers of all ages. Beautiful pool, comfortable beds, warm showers and a delicious breakfast. Located very close to the beach and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book.

The location was good, 10 minute walk to the each & main town, there are a couple of convenience stores a few steps away. The family that run the accommodation are extremely nice & helpful

The bath needs removing, it is not clean, also there is a kitchen but you couldn’t wash up as the sink had no waste pipe. The tv was not working at all
