Mostly the behaviour of the people, they were understaffed… as they said.. and the classic English hospitality: non existent .

Great location. Picturesque and peaceful. Food and drinks were excellent. Staff lovely.

Floor cleaning/bleaching near where breakfast was being served we could have done without.

The Thames path moves directly across the property. The restaurant was marvelous for dinner. Breakfast was better than average. The room was very comfortable with two rest rooms. One had a sink and toilet, and the other had a sink and shower. The bed was comfortable.

It could do with repainting in a number of areas. Particularly entrances and the stairway. And the wall in our bathroom by the window. Food generally was disappointing. The breakfast experience was particularly disappointing.

Poor decoration of Room flaky paint ,loose door handle to bathroom .toilet seat loose and shower hose leaking. generally needs maintenance that can be easily fixed as lots of little things that let it down .So didn't reflect the cost for the Room charged.

Numerous spiders on bedroom ceiling, cobwebs on lamp, shower didn't drain properly. The price vs what was received. Lots of noise from the pub.

Lovely setting. Room nice,but decor a little tired Bed comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets on tray. Fan was provided which was very much appreciated.

Much more expensive than other hotels in the area but room much smaller in comparison. Bathroom dusty. Food was very overpriced for what it was. Similar to Whetherspoons quality but described as more up-market. Very corporate vibe - warning signs on everything, calories listed on menu, very expensive drinks. Staff did not initially make us aware of how to exit the building at night. The door we came through was locked and we weren't sure if fire escapes were alarmed so we felt we couldn't leave at night.

We hadden de kamer twee nachten. Deze werd niet tussendoor schoongemaakt. Ontbijt als op de menukaart, is niet het ontbijt voor de hotelgasten; dat is een andere kaart. (Het restaurant en terras waren groter dan verwacht, waardoor het op de warme zondag dat wij er waren erg druk was. Wij rekenden op een klein hotel; we hadden ons zelf ws niet goed geïnformeerd, dus dat kunnen we hotel niet aanrekenen.)

Near busy road. Interior scruffy. Room tired and shower room poor. Toilet seat loose, dirty old sealant on shower, shelf above sink loose with dirty grouting, walls needed fresh coat of paint.

We thought breakfast was included at the price we paid only to see it wasnt in the small print Also a radiator was on and it took to be asked twice to sort it

The bed was comfortable, the location is great.

The breakfast was poor quality and expensive. On the first day I asked for continental breakfast and there were no berries to go with yoghurt and a greasy danish. The cooked breakfast was dry and unappetising. The evening meal was poor quality. Service was uninspriring - weren't made to feel particularly welcome or valued at any point. Rooms were noisy - you could hear people banging doors, talking and using the bathroom in rooms on either side. Rooms looked tired - carpets need cleaning or replacing, shelf in bathroom and sink plug were broken. Hard to fit the kettle under the sink to fill it up.

Historic building overlooking the Thames and a bridge equally steeped in history. Very professional and friendly staff, with special praise to the receptionist for her courtesy.

The room was overall very dark and hot (even considering the exceptional weather). Breakfast was not a buffet and could definitely be better.

The room was lovely had a good shower and range of facilities in the room. The staff was lovely and we had a good time

The breakfast wasnt the best we have had. The sausages was the best in the full breakfast same with the bacon but overall was lovely location.

Perfect location for walking the Thames

There was no simple food on the menu and after following the table instructions and ordering I was told I shouldn’t be sitting where I was. Also the small roadside room with no view of the Thames seemed over priced

There was a bathroom with hand basin and a separate toilet with hand basin in our room, very handy for two sisters travelling together ☺️. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included) was generous, and started at 7am which was good as a long day walking ahead of us. Lovely yoghurt and cereal. Then smashed avo on grilled sourdough with poached eggs. Top marks.

Sadly, the lights on the Ceiling mounted, in-room Wi-Fi router create quite a bit of light disturbance at night.

Beautiful location, rooms very comfortable and nicely decorated, understated but classy. Dinner was very good, staff were great. We had a minor issue with our room and the manager sorted it quickly and to our satisfaction, excellent service.

The reception was great, the safety protocols were explained & I was shown to my room which was lovely. There were chocolates, & biscuits + tea & coffee in the room. The food was lovely & I slept really well

All the team were welcoming and polite. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Really nice opening the curtains and seeing the river and would definitely recommend. Food was of a very high standard and reasonably priced.

Location. Everything was good value for money. Didn't try the menu but the amount of customers spoke for its popularity. Staff very friendly. Hotel very attractive. Room although 'snug' had everything in it you would need.

Only a very small criticism. The room was very clean but there was an almost overpowering smell of cleaning products or maybe carpet freshener? 🤔

We had a lovely stay at Rose Revived. The staff were lovely, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bar and restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was brilliant.

We stayed for one night while walking the Thames Path and can’t praise the hotel highly enough. The staff were wonderful, our room was comfortable and well equipped and looked right onto the river, both dinner and breakfast were delicious - an absolutely perfect stay.

El hotel esta ubicado en un bonito y tranquilo entorno. Tiene restaurante y bar, cierra bastante tarde con lo que puedes cenar allí después de visitar la comarca. Parking descubierto gratuito.

La mampara de la ducha no cerraba bien y perdía agua. El lavabo estaba demasiado pegado al espejo y no resultaba cómodo para lavarte la cara.

The breakfast was good and the staff nice

The room was freezing when we entered it. We complained to the staff and they said the thermostat worked off the temperature in the corridor which didn't help us. They provided a seperate heater. Despite paying extra for a river view the view was of the roof of the dining area and of a tree.

We would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. A better mixer on the shower ..water could be very hot

The location was great , on the banks of the river Thames and within 15 mins drive to Oxford so great place as a base .

Our room was very tired looking, plaster coming off in 1 place , wallpaper peeling off in another and the headboard behind the bed was all scuffed and had lots of marks on it. The pub and the room needed a really good clean , window sills , floors in the toilets and the stair bannister were really dirty .

Breakfast is the best and great value for money that includes premium coffee and orange juice etc.
