Casa Bella Phuket vs Similar Hotels

Standard quality for this hotel tier (adjusted slightly to balance other category scores).

Beds often described as comfortable but there are recurring issues: noisy air-conditioning, at least one broken bathroom door, balcony sun/brightness and mosquitoes on lower-floor rooms; overall acceptable but some maintenance/comfort drawbacks.

Generally good rooms with several mentions of nice or immaculate rooms, but recurring notes about older building vs. pictures, confusion about two buildings and occasional issues (makeup stain charge) reduce the score slightly.

Bed linen reported clean, but multiple mentions of dirty commode and cups cleaned only with water; overall mixed-to-negative housekeeping.

Multiple reviews praise the hotel as very clean with high cleaning standards and acceptable hygiene; described as 'very clean' and 'clean and comfortable'.

Mixed signals: many guests praise rooms as very clean/immaculate, but several reports note poor housekeeping frequency, unclean utensils, drainage smell and one report calling the place 'dirt'. Overall slightly above average but held back by housekeeping inconsistencies.

Guests explicitly mention poor location with nothing nearby; location considered a notable drawback.

Mixed feedback: some guests like the central Chalong location and proximity to transport, others note it is not walkable to attractions, requires a scooter and is near a busy road or has little to do on foot.

Strong positive: repeatedly highlighted as ideal for Fitness Street (gyms, massage clinics, healthy restaurants) and convenient to restaurants and pools. A minority found the location poor, but most reviewers emphasize excellent location for the target audience.

Mixed service: some staff (e.g., Sam) described as very kind and helpful, but complaints about an unfriendly receptionist and reservation/booking communication problems.

Staff repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and helpful; reception and desk staff noted as excellent and adorable.

Generally excellent: multiple comments about extremely polite, professional and helpful staff, reception staff described as amazing and friendly; a few isolated reports of uninterested staff but the prevailing sentiment is very positive.
