Staff - friendly beyond words. Rooftop - unimaginably beautiful view. Room and bathroom saciousness made my stay comfortable. I loved I'm this hostel.

Breakfast was just basic, but even that was a good thing - so many greek food breakfast opportunities jus around the corner was worth skipping it.

O separador de camas não vai até o final, as vezes você precisa se trocar e tem gente no banheiro. No banheiro não tinha nada que segurava a água, então precisava passar um rodo, mas sempre tem pessoas que não fazem e fica sujo, Mesmo com a toalha separando precisaria do rodo mas não seria tão agressivo.

Die zentrale Klimaanlage. Da man sie nicht selber steuern kann, war es sehr kalt eingestellt. Man kann an der Rezeption fragen, dass sie abgedreht wird, aber dann war es eher zu warm. Das war echt ein Dilemma und ziemlich unkomfortabel.

This is the best location for the sights of Athens. Pretty much in the middle of it all. Close to some great affordable places to eat. Defintely stay here if you are going to Athens!

I loved the location- as well as the price! For what you pay it is very great. Came from the United States (female) solo traveling and felt safe! It is a hostel, so not super clean like a normal hotel room, but clean for a hostel!

No towels provided. Breakfast subpar, didn’t even eat there.

Stayed here last year on a short visit to Athens and I liked it. This year I tried other hostels mainly cause the have bigger rooftops but after two days I decided to come back to Athens Backpackers, it’s definitely the best one in the city. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in a hostel, the rooms are nice with big bathrooms and a nice balcony, and the location is just unbeatable, you’re close to everything and the metro station is 1min away, plus I felt very safe walking there at any time, not like other places where other famous hostels are in the city. Will definitely go there again on my next visit to Athens.

The only complaint I have is that the AC was a bit too cold, my bed was directly in front of it and I was freezing the first night.

I havent stayed at a backpacker for many years but this was a great experience. Great facilities, great breakfast, great location and super friendly staff. So happy I chose this option.

Emplacement à deux pas de l'acropole, du musée de l'acropole et du quartier de Plaka pour autant dans une rue au calme. Chambres pour les familles. Vue incroyable sur l'acropole depuis la terrasse sur le toit.

Rien, l'hotel est très honnête sur sa description. Hotel pour backpackers, le service est adapté petit déjeuner sommaire mais efficace, on fait sa vaisselle soi même.

Proche à l’acropole

Ils éteints le système de climatisation général pendant la nuit. En pleine août! En canicule. À fuir, moi et d’autres hôtes nous avons eu de mal à dormir avec la chaleur. Même situation en plusieurs chambres (le système est général)

Het was erg schoon, de reizigers erg gezellig, het zit perfect gelegen kwa locatie. Wanneer je met de metro reist is het nog geen 2 minuten voordat je bij het hostel bent. De kers op de taart was voor mij de rooftop met prachtig uitzicht op het Acropolis.

Wat ze nog zouden kunnen doen voor onderlinge verbinding is spelletjes neerzetten of iets van een pingpongtafel.

Amazing rooftop bar with a view of the Acropolis! This alone makes this place worth it! Met lots of cool people, staff were friendly, the breakfast was simple but very much appreciated and a welcome bonus, especially at a Hostel! I would highly recommend. The area is super cool. Close walking distance to the Acropolis Museum, and lots of cool restaurants, hang out spots and bars to the south! Seconds walk to the bus stop and metro stations! Would highly reccommend.

Good location in Koukaki - not too touristy, but with convenience stores nearby and lots of bars and restuarenats to choose from. Only a short walk to the Acropolis. 6 beds to a dorm with shared bathroom was good and with a balcony too. Breakfast was much better and bigger than I was expecting. I had a beer at the downstairs bar which was good chance to read some left books/guides.

Not very social at all. Door codes didnt work for many guests on arrival which is a pain after walking up several floors.

Lare checkin till 5am possible. Close to metro and Athens attractions. Good sturdy bunk beds. Welcome drink. Good buffet breakfast and friendly vibe. Rooftop bar has happy hour.

I liked the location, easy check in and check out, good breakfast and quiet. The rooms are q nice size and showers work well. The rooftop has a great view of the acropolis.

There was an incident with a roommate and the staff, I didn’t like how the staff member handled things and other people had to intervene to help find a solution.

I didn't like that they told me twice that the breakfast finished at 9.30 and the guy of the night told me that the breakfast was 8-10. I was going down before 10. Some guests came after me and the took breakfast without telling them anything. That was unfair.

Buena ubicación con restaurantes a unos minutos. Te dejan guardar las maletas antes del check in y el chico de la recepción es amable y servicial.

Kiváló helyen van, metró karnyújtásnyira, mégis teljesen csendes utcában. A személyzet extra kedves, segítőkész. Van lift. Egyszerű a bejutás.

Minden áldott reggel pontosan ugyanaz volt a reggeli, ami persze nem igazi gond. 8 előtt nem lehetett reggelizni, ezt kicsit későinek tartom. Az utca elég piszkos volt, de biztonságos környék.

The location is impossible to beat; it’s a minute walk from the Akropoli metro station and a short walk to the Acropolis and national gardens. Excellent value considering a good breakfast is included. Staff were kind and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were big enough to fit everyone and their things comfortably.

The top bunks don’t have any kind of safety railing and the first time I stayed I was afraid I would fall onto the tile floor, which kept me from sleeping well. I requested a lower bunk when I returned (which they kindly accepted) and the girl above me fell out of bed at 2 AM (thankfully, onto her feet).

It was ok, for 2 day stay. The breakfast was ok.

No towels, mixed room.

Not much to complain about other than lockers require a certain bigger lock (I had 3 different types that didn’t lock properly) and loud guest which is not the fault of the property. Ear plugs are necessary

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Acropolis area and within walking distance of everything. The receptionist kindly allowed me to check in before the official check-in time as soon as my bed was ready. This was incredibly helpful, as I was exhausted after traveling from Patmos and Leros to Athens. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Athens.

I think the room was a bit too small for six beds. It would be much more comfortable with four beds instead. I also suggest providing a floor mat in the bathroom so guests can dry their feet after showering. This would help keep the floor dry and prevent the room from becoming wet and messy.

La habitación compartida femenina de 6 me pareció pequeña para esa cantidad de personas. Y solo un baño en esa habitación para usar (no en el piso) aunque había uno común en el lobby con ducha. El ascensor muy pequeño

The location of the hostel was great, the beds were super comfy and the shower was nice. Free breakfast was also a pleasant surprise.

The staff at the property seem like they don’t enjoy their job. Prior to checking in I was waiting in cue for almost an hour and the receptionist was quite blunt, didn’t even acknowledge me at first until I said something. Then there was an issue with the lock to my room and when I told him, he ignored me, helped other people that came after me, was angrily screaming into he’s phone and then again no apology or anything and after waiting 10 min finally decided to unlock my door. After a long travel day, that was not the way I wanted to be greeted

Świetna lokalizacja - bardzo blisko do Akropolu, muzeum Akropolu i wszystkich zabytków, śniadanie klasyczne, kontynentalne w formie bufetu, spokojna okolica mimo bliskości centrum, łóżka przestronne i wygodne. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny :). Bar na dachu, z którego roztacza się widok na Akropol jest zdecydowanie jednym z największych atutów tego miejsca!!

W przypadku górnego łóżka trzeba uważać przy wchodzeniu po drabince i schodzeniu - jest ona nieco mała i nie ma poręczy do przytrzymania się, natomiast nie jest to wielki mankament.

La posizione dell'ostello era davvero perfetta per raggiungere facilmente i punti di interesse culturale. La struttura era tranquilla e attenta a tutte le necessità degli ospiti, tutti i membri dello staff sono stati molto disponibili. La sala comune e la terrazza con il piccolo bar sono davvero perfette per stare tranquilli e godersi una vista stupenda sull'acropoli.

La ubicación es la mejor, justo a dos calles de la entrada de la Acrópolis, buenos restaurantes, actividades, transporte y muy seguro.

Las cortinas de las camas podrían mejorar un poco, quizás blackouts. Y tener mas baños y duchas, sería perfecto.

Excelente localização, mesmo junto ao Metro Acropolis. Boa zona ao redor. Cortinas de privacidade nas camas, com ficha elétrica, luz e pequena prateleira.

Pequeno almoço muito básico. Escadas para as camas superiores muito desconfortáveis e até perigosas, sendo necessário um bom equilíbrio! Casa de banho/chuveiro dentro do quarto partilhado, o que me parece incómodo.

Fui muito mal atendida pela recepcionista, fiz um reserva em apartamento feminino qdo cheguei eles me colocaram em um apto misto. Eu nao fiquei no hostel e tb nao me devolveram o valor.

The location is good, the stuff are friendly.

The door room of the toilet in a mixed bedroom was broken, couldn’t close it and taking a shower was terrible experience there. Plus the shower was dirty. I am suppose to have a towel but i haven’t. That was my worst hostel experience so far. The breakfast was normal, would’ve preferred to eat outside.

Прийшлось купляти замок на комірку у магазині! Я мандрую з рюкзаком, ручна поклажа у літаках, зайве місце та вага теж мають значення 😔 Непривітній персонал, я не знала що на сніданок треба за собою мити посуд, любʼязно спитала шо робити з брудним посудом-мені з неприйнятним способом не відповіли а підвели до папірця де написано що треба за собою особисто мити посуд 🫣

el personal es muy amable y resolutivo. la cama es cómoda y tiene espacio para dejar tus cosas en una repisa, además de la taquilla gratuita, solo necesitas tu propio candado. el baño está bien, pequeño pero práctico. la ubicación es perfecta, a 2 minutos del metro Acropoli y del museo. en 10 minutos escasos también llegas al sitio arqueológico. está cerca de restaurantes, tiendas de souvenirs y hay varios supermercados en la zona. se siente muy segura porque siempre hay gente en la calle. ha sido una estancia corta pero agradable, si vuelvo a Atenas elegiré este sitio sin duda!

creo que estaría bien ofrecer alguna opción de desayuno para llevar por si no te da tiempo a acudir al horario

Fabulous location, very close to the acropolis metro stop and Plaka area. There is a view of the acropolis from the roof bar which was a nice surprise. The dorm was clean, the bed was comfy and it had a small balcony which was a nice surprise. The bed had a little shelf for belongings and lockers were provided. Just bring your own padlock to use them. The included breakfast was really delicious and the roof bar was a nice convenience after being out all day and the staff and other guests were friendly. As a solo female I felt very safe during my stay and was pleased I didn't have to walk far from the metro to get to the hostel after my flight was delayed and I arrived at midnight

The dorm didn't have air conditioning, only a fan which meant the room was very hot. Especially with the privacy curtain on the bed closed. I also found the ladder up to the top bunk a little difficult to climb as the bed is high and there is nothing to grab onto in the bunk. I managed okay but worth considering if your mobility or balance is not the best

The sight from the terrace was amazing, the beds are comfortable and big. Ot is high quality hostel and definitely worth it for the price. Also the location is amazing.

The shower has no door or curtain and because of that the bathroom always got wet and the floor of all the room was always dirty. Also the photos make it seem bigger than what the rooms actually are but it's ok you don't go to spend the day inside the room.

The only think I liked was the fact that female dorm had it own bathroom

I originally booked more expensive option of 4 ppl dorm but as I walked in it was like a very smelly shoe box with somone super drunk sleeping there. I didn’t feel good there at all so requested a change of the room. Then got transfers to 6 ppl female dorm

The people are amazing! The staff is wonderful and the location is perfect - just ~80m for the metro station. So cheap compared to the location.

The breakfast hours are a bit weird and short, and the AC takes some practice to turn on.

The location was convenient and the booking process was straightforward. The property itself appeared affordable, which initially made it seem like a reasonable option for a short stay.

I did not feel comfortable during my stay. On arrival, the reception experience felt unwelcoming, and I was not offered assistance with my heavy suitcase despite the stairs and lack of a lift. The interaction felt somewhat dismissive.

Literally a 2-minute walk from the metro station, major attractions, and plenty of restaurants. The location is absolutely fantastic. The hostel is simple, but very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The breakfast is quite basic, but it offers a good variety of options.

It was my first ever international and solo trip out of the U.S. and everyone was so welcoming. Im usually very introverted but they managed to pull me out of my shell and have fun in just 1 days time.

Nothing it was absolutely fantastic I cant even think of how to improve it right now.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, a una cuadra y media de la Acrópolis y de Plaka, lo que permite recorrer los principales atractivos de Atenas caminando. Las instalaciones son amplias, limpias y ordenadas, y el desayuno cumple correctamente con lo esperado.

Como aspecto a mejorar, la atención en recepción. En mi caso me atendió una persona que no hablaba español y mostró poca predisposición para comunicarse o intentar entenderme, incluso con mi limitado inglés. Su actitud no fue la más amable y daba la impresión de atender con desgano.

The location is great.

The new bunk beds are outright dangerous: (1) The "ladder" to the upper bunk bed is a steel railing with nothing to hold onto to haul yourself onto the bunk bed. (2) The "ladder" consists round metal pipes that hurts your feet when you go up and down the stairs. Whoever designed these stupid bunk beds needs to be fired! I will never stay here again!

El alojamiento tiene aire acondicionado centralizado y hacía mucho frio en la habitacion. No se podía regular la temperatura, que era sorprendentemente baja, y tampoco el flujo de aire. Lo habíamos leido en otrks comentarios pero no podíamos imaginar esto. Además en nuestra habitación el aire estaba dirigido hacia las camas y era imposible descansar. Tuvimos que usar jerseys, pantalon largo y calcetines y dormir al cruzado en la cama. Fue una experiencia muy desagradable.
