Hôtel vivant, le staff propose plusieurs activités. Le rooftop fait plaisir pour fumer sa clope. Sanitaires au top. Vive la climatisation qui fonctionne à merveille! Le personnel parle anglais et est super serviable.

Le personnel est gentil et serviable et la fille parle très bien anglais. Il y a du thé gratuit dans la chambre c’est top mais les tasses sont vraiment minuscules …

Les douches étaient propres uniquement le premier jour, les deux autres il y avait des poils, des cheveux, et les toilettes parfois un peu sale … je sais que c’est en parti la faute des autres voyageurs mais c’est quand même à l’hostel d’y faire attention. Le matelas était horrible, on sentait chaque ressort. Les claquettes d’intérieur dans la chambre puait le vomis quand on est arrivé, j’ai dû les laisser en dehors de la chambre.

Great location, about 10 mins walk from the metro and 15 minute walk to one of the monasteries. There’s water bottle refills available They have events and a group chat, however no events while we were there unfortunately but saw a free dumpling class being advertised (wish we could’ve gone!!)

The shared showers & sinks weren’t very clean, the beds were VERY uncomfortable with small blankets, and the walls to the rooms are very very thin so it can get quite noisy

I like everything, good people on reception with good English. Perfect is all, WC, shower clean, room for 4 person's it's okey. All is perfect

Mix is always a great place to stay. And as Chengdu has gotten bigger, this neighborhood has remained peaceful - great teahouses by the river, and a great restaurant next door.

I loved this hostel. The room I was in, a dorm room with 2 beds, had plenty of room. I appreciate the lock box in the room.. It was great to be able to do my laundry. There are lots of choices on this street to get food. The room had air conditioning for when it gets really hot. It was very quiet, had plenty of shared spaces. It just had a nice, friendly feel about it. The people at the front desk spoke English and were extremely nice and helpful.

Super clean, beds were very comfy, the reception area is a really nice spot to hang out in, the staff are great, there’s a lot of events on (when I arrived I turned up during a dumpling party!), it’s a great balance of feeling sociable yet chilled out. I also got a free room upgrade which was an extra win!

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice design.

That people can smoke everywhere - this is common for China, but keep it in mind. There were chairs right outside my room and people would sit there until late at night smoking which I could then smell in my room even with a closed window. And you can hear everything. Also seems like rooms are being double booked, my friends couldn’t get the bed they had booked.

El personal super amable, te ayudan en lo posible, lugsr acogedor, e instalaciones limpias , te incluyen todo lo necesario para una buena estadía, sin duda volvería.

完璧なホステルでした。 スタッフの方が親切丁寧にこちらの質問要望に答えてくれた。大容量の洗濯物があったので、乾燥機があってまた物干し場所もあった。

最寄りの地鉄駅から、歩くにはちょっと遠かった。

Всё отлично! Рекомендую! Расположение- центр, до метро 10 мин.не спеша ( ст.метро Renmin North Road,выход В, идите дальше прямо 2 квартала, затем налево через дорогу, 50 метров, есть указатель) . Торговый центр рядом, много точек питания, северный ж/д вокзал 20 мин.пешком- там огромный вещевой рынок . Кровать удобная, бельë хорошего качества. Полотенца, тапочки, зубную щётку и пасту дают. В душе и туалете всё работает. Персонал говорит на английском. Спасибо!

J'avais déjà séjourné au Poshpacker Chengdu Mix Hostel Cicada Zen Yard l'an dernier ; j 'en avais été très heureux. Aussi ai je retrouvé Helena avec grande joie et fait plus ample connaissance avec Thimoty. Tous les deux gèrent le Mix Hostel avec certes beaucoup de professionnalisme mais avant tout,ils ont un très profond de la relation humaine et ont su, comme j'avais déjà pu le constater l'an dernier, créer une ambiance fondée sur la solidarité et la fraternité, faisant du Mix Hostel un lieu de rencontres et d'échanges exceptionnel avec des personnes venues du monde entier.Quant au confort, comment ne pas dire que le Mix Hostel est excellemment tenu.( Je tiens au passage à remercier les femmes de service) Les sanitaires au troisième étage ont été refaits à neuf ; cela donne un gain très appréciable. Je recommande donc vivement aux voyageurs du monde entier de séjourner au Mix Hostel !!

Comment mettre la moindre réserve au sujet du Mix Hostel.? C est tout simplement du domaine de l', impossible.

Very nice hostel, facilities was new in this old building)) hot shower, new hairdryers, air-cond in the room. I was staying in December in girls room and i was there alone almost all the time)) i can't say it's a really plus, but it wasn't noisy)) Very good location not far from super comfy metro line, in 5 min walk Wenshu Yuan Monastery, which i recommend to visit with lots of nice restaurants. The boxes have code lockers, slippers, bed was comfy. Stuff was very nice and helpful, recommend me some place to eat, that i was visiting many times))

I can't say that's really minus, but the building has area that has windows and it's open most of the time, so you can be freezing in shower area, that's a bit uncomfortable during December. And for the light and air-cond in the room you have to use card, so if somebody from the room go out and take it you can stay without heating during the night or without light, it's annoying and seems strange in the hostel

Tutto è stato perfetto....bella struttura, super pulita, comodo, accogliente, bella posizione e poi Helena e Tuan sono fantastici e soprattutto parlano inglese, grazie di tutto, avete reso i miei giorni a Chengdu fantastici 🙏

Great location (by the river) and helpful staff... they can get you on tours or workshops (the cooking workshop is good) and super low cost for a pretty good room... walls are a bit thin... guests can be a bit loud sometimes... very noticeable... shower/bathroom across the hall... couldn't really fault this place for the price... good experience...

Was a bit noisy at times... some of the westerners (?) don't mind having a loud talk at 11pm at night... but generally really good place to first arrive at when in Chengdu... very interesting place if you follow the river for a good while...

Fantastico soggiorno!! Personale accogliente e ambiente gioviale e creativo. Il Dumplings party organizzato dall'ostello è stato una bellissima esperienza. Camere e bagni sempre puliti! Lo consiglio davvero!

Beacause of the floating i didn't stayed in this hostel but another one for the same branch. There were really nice and moved me without any surgage, and offer a refund in case. Good personel

Questo ostello è stupendo!! Dalle foto e dalle recensioni ho subito avuto un'ottima impressione, ma vedere e vivere questo posto è stato molto meglio di quanto avessi immaginato, tanto che ho deciso di rimanere più notti. Lo staff parla inglese. Sono tutti amichevoli e disposti a dare buoni consigli per le varie visite. Riguardo all'ambiente...è come essere in famiglia! Una sera hanno organizzato il Dumplings 🥟 party! È stato stupendo! Molti ragazzi dell'ostello hanno partecipato e abbiamo imparato a preparare i tipici ravioli cinesi! Poi lo staff li ha cucinati e li abbiamo mangiati tutti insieme. Un bellissimo ricordo. Le camere sono silenziose e i bagni sono super puliti! C'è tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno piacevole: letti comodi, asciugamani, ciabattine pulite, lavatrice, distributore d'acqua potabile calda e fredda, prese elettriche europlug a due fori adatte a spine europee. Prenotate!

The room was nice, tidy and well equipped. The toilets and showers had just been freshly renovated. The roof terrace is very beautiful with its many flowers. The staff are very friendly and helped us a lot. They organised some nice events for us (thanks for everything).

The shower bathrooms are located on the rooftop, so you might feel some wind after a hot shower. All rooms have low lighting

Great position near wenshu metro station

Electricity went off for a night on an entire floor. Toilet on first floor dirty (avoid use in the evenings). I asked for information and got incomplete answers. I assked for a taxi and staff did not help. Rooms very small. Level of English poor (only one person speaks something).

the beds were comfortable, the AC did wonders in such a humid climate, the shared showers and bathrooms were actually pretty nice.

the room was only clean where you could see, between the headboard and the mattress it was full of dust, which is inconvenient since it’s right next to where you lay your head when you sleep.

Ostello carinissimo a Chengdu a 15 minuti a piedi dall'imperdibile tempio Wenshu e comodo alla metro. Staff gentilissimo e che si impegna tantissimo per far passare un bel soggiorno agli ospiti, ad esempio noi abbiamo partecipato al free dumplings party ed è stata una bellissima serata in cui abbiamo praticamente partecipato ad una mini lezione di cucina, abbiamo mangiato tantissimo e molto bene e fatto amicizia con qualche altro ospite, tutto completamente free. Per il resto la struttura ha un sacco di carattere ed è organizzata tipicamente da ostello con le stanzette private e docce e bagni in comune. La ragazza della reception ci ha anche consigliato un ottimo cafè, 85° Degrees, a 12 minuti a piedi per la colazione. Prezzo da ostello assolutamente super conveniente.

Very friendly atmosphere. All 3 staff, Helena / Timothy / Stewie are very helpful and courteous. They gave tips on shopping, public transport and many other important matters. Very interesting mini-programs like dumpling making, .....etc where people meet to do things together and have fun. Excellent services by all staff including the cleaners and male helper. Staying in this hostel is like staying at home. Please keep up the good work and fun.

The staff is brilliant! They are very welcoming, and super helpful. They go beyond and suggest good things to do. Specially Helena, a Chinese lady who is very knowledgeable with lots of historic facts about the city.

Classico ostello con bagni condivisi! Lo staff è stato molto disponibile nell'aiutarci a prenotare i biglietti per le attrazioni (avevamo qualche problema con wechat). Al piano terra c'è uno spazio con tavoli che si può condividere con altri viaggiatori. All'ultimo piano una bella terrazza, ma poco utilizzabile perché serve anche per stendere! Posizione comoda!

We had a private 3bed room and although the airco had a funny smell it worked well and the window opened to a super quiet backyard, so we slept really well. We enjoyed playing pool and the staff helped us out when we had lost our phone. The area is very nice for strolling!

What might have been a lively traveler's hangout once is now a place where more people seem to actually live rather than stay, in an atmosphere of ignorant co-existence. People have set up their work desks in the common area, taking up whole tables for themselves. The common area is pretty grim with a failing airco - don't believe the photos. There is no common kitchen, you couldn't even get boiling water. Only two showers per gender for the whole hostel with no fan or airco, so almost unbearably hot in there...

Offering of hostel activities. Help from staff regarding washing machine, or other questions which I had. They were super helpful a kind.

I had a bed bug in my bed.

L'équipe de l'auberge est adorable et tout particulièrement Helena qui a été des plus aidante durant mon séjour. C'est vraiment une petite pépite aux nombreuses qualités. L'auberge est devenu mon petit chez moi lorsque j' étais en transit sur Chengdu... J'ai apprécié avoir le monastère de wenshu aux abords de l'auberge pour y manger et tout simplement m'y poser... La rivière passe juste à côté...et j'ai également adoré me prélasser sur une des nombreuses terrasses qui la borde. Le quartier est super safe... Je recommande sincèrement cette adresse !

Une chambre double et une triple (3 lits simples) petites mais confortables (matelas un peu durs). Calme la nuit. Ambiance sympa, bon accueil et bons conseils. A 10 minutes du métro et 5 du monastère Wenshu (très bon restaurant végétarien à côté). Pas cher !

Il fait très chaud dans les WC et les douches.

Teníamos dos sillas delante nuestra habitación pegadas a nuestra ventana y algunas perdonas venían ahí ha hablar. Tuvimos que llamar la atención a una chica que sentada ahí no dejaba de hablar por teléfono a las 12 de la noche (obviamente no es culpa del alojamiento). Se escuchaba absolutamente todo, cosa que hacía que fuera bastante ruidoso para dormir.

Nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit suite à un retard de vol mais nous avons quand même eu un accueil chaleureux.

Choosing this hostel to stay in Chengdu was the best decision. The place Is clean, confortable and located close to the Wenshu Monastery. The manager Helena and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt immediately at home there. Moreover, I joined many free activities organized there and it is a good way to make new friends. Close to the hostel there are convenient store and a metro station. I really hope to come back soon.

My only suggestioni Is to have the same number of showers for men and women. Now there are only 2 women showers and 4 for men.

The staff are very informative and they have a great WhatsApp chat to talk together. They are full of recommendations at very good prices and it is lovely vibe on the hostel, with option to play pool, music and other nice games.

Lots of people shouting in the lobby in Chinese. The hostel is not that near to the subway and you need about 15 minutes walk. I was allergic to the bed sheets and got a rash which worsen each night. The bathroom being one per floor is tricky as there is only one place to shower. So a bit inconvenient.
