Für Ägyptische Verhältnisse sehr sauber und gepflegt. Guter Service. Die Lage in einem ruhigen und grünen Bezirk mit netten Gaststätten in der Nähe. Auch ist es nicht weit zur Metro. Über die Brücke (oder durch den Tunnel) kommt man gut in eine Einkaufsstraße.

Das Frühstück ist gut aber nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Es könnte mehr auf Nachhaltigkeit Wert gelegt werden. Z.Bsp. werden die Handtücher täglich ohne Notwendigkeit gewechselt. Dabei ist dort Wasser ein kostbares Gut. Aber das ist in dieser Region noch nicht angekommen. Das würden die ägyptischen Gäste nicht verstehen.

Great location in Maadi. If you like this expat neighborhood, its a good choice.

I was put in a smoking room, but I had asked for non-smoking.

We really liked the service, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we don't have much to say about the food as it is something completely different from our culture.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I like the hotel location, but I think it's a bit pricy compared to other hotels in the area. the room was clean but not perfect. the breakfast was good but not too much options.

they didn’t have USD card payment, when we paid in cash they overcharged us ! 1USD = 47.30EGP (at the time of the stay) they charged us 1USD = 48EGP, when we asked why they said it’s the management’s policy which was outrageous. differently I don’t recommend

I felt the rooms were overpriced for very basic amenities. Wifi is very poor and breakfast is lacking in variety.

It is a rustic hotel at the heart of the historical Maadi district. The facilities and rooms are quite convenient.

This hotel is wonderful! They have options for everyone at the restaurant, including a vegan menu. Everyone was super helpful and kind to us. It is a great neighbourhood as well. You should stay here!

Saubere und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Auch im Haus selbst ist es ruhig und das Frühstück kann auf der netten Terrasse mit grüner Umgebung genossen werden.

I loved the location for its immersion in the local buzz of every day life. Close to the Nile, close to the metro. A great start if you’re looking for an local Egyptian experience.

If you can be a little forgiving, there’s nothing to dislike.

Jättefin hotell belägen i ett vackert område nära restauranger, frisörer och allt man behöver. Servicen var underbar och all personal var så himla välkomnande och hjälpsamma i allt. Detta var en av våra bästa hotellupplevelser och dessutom har hotellets restaurang väldigt god mat.

I've always wanted to come to Africa. The flight from ATL-Cairo (layover in Istanbul) was better than expected. My time in Egypt was wonderful, seeing the pyramids, the Nile, and the Red Sea.

Really nice place, with very nice people, and a nice service. The confort is standard-wise really good, room can be cleaned every day, bottle of water every day. They help a lot with the luggage, the explanations, and so on.

The hotel has a great location in the centre of Maadi Cairo. The breakfast was nice.

The room didn’t have soap or shampoo and I had to request it from the reception. The view was not the best and breakfast could use a bit more selection.

Very clean, comfortable, has a touch of the Britishers time, very kind Staff and accommodating. They even bought a hair dreyer on my request for guests to use when needed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was clean, it was close to the metro, the housekeeping staff were especially kind, and the location was good as it was on a side street away from the chaos of Cairo.

When we arrived, the staff showed us to our room which was dingy and gross and not worth the amount of money we paid for it nor did it resemble the photos of the suite. However, the bell hop pulled us out of there and showed us another suite that was much nicer and more like the photos of the suite we had paid for. He gave us that room at no extra charge, but we soon discovered that this is a ploy in Egypt so we wouldn't complain about the problems with the room. It had just been renovated with beautiful stone just like in the photos, but everything was a little bit broken. It had a rain shower, but it must have been filled with grit from the reno as more water sprayed the ceiling than came through the shower head. There was a lot of hot water though and I appreciated having our own hot water tank for the suite. The television was poorly placed jutting out from the wall so that when I got up from bed in the dark, I hit my head on it almost every time. No English channels that I could find. Having spent almost a month in Egypt, this seems to be the standard, but I paid a lot for this particular hotel and it wasn't worth the price. The staff were lovely though.

It's cosy and comfortable. Great quiet neighbourhood, helpful staff, the beds are comfy and clean. Not for people looking for fancy but rather privacy and sincerity.

I liked the staff , very friendly but the rooms are not clean. There was dust everywhere. The internet was spotty. I recommend this place if you are vacationing and spending your time outside. Not recommended if you are working or in need of internet.

Location, restaurant, friendly staff

The room was awful. White colored walls were totally dirty by hand, foot, shoes, lipstick, pencil etc. Furniture is old fashioned and it is not big problem. The bathroom was something unique. I will attach the ceiling photo. All water staff are dropping and flowing unstoppable. The ceiling is affected by black fungus. I thought that the room was occupied by gypsies before me.

The reception guy was very rude and didn’t like the way he treated my wife.

The staff is always great and the location is good. There are many good restaurants within a short walking distance.

It seems the management has changed. I booked a triple room for 3 guests. A friend joined us making 4 guests. I called the hotel and explained, they said we could upgrade to a suite. I agreed to pay the difference, about 25 dollars per night. The room was not a suite. It was the standard double room with a sheet on the futon. I could have had 2 double rooms for less money. I pointed this out to the management. They didn't care. The futon was not comfortable.

This hotel cannot be recommended for a group of friends as they have very strict policy. VERY BAD. We will never comeback in this hotel at all.
