Just tiny remarks, that were no deal breaker: Ants in shower room, toilet flooring not optimal in terms of hygiene

Wir hatten ein Zweierzimmer mit eigenem Bad, das war sauber und (für Indonesien ) in Schuss. Also man konnte gut duschen und schlafen, schön gekühlt auch. Außer Betten gab es aber nichts im Raum . Dabei böte sich an, ein Regal aufzustellen. Für ein Stuhl wäre es wirklich eng. Die Küche unten hatte zwei schlechte Tage, mal war der Abfluss verstopft, mal der Wasserhahn gebrochen. Auch beim Trinkwasserspender war der Hahn kaputtgegangen - es wurde daran gearbeitet - Wasser haben wir gekauft. Ob das immer so ist, weiß ich natürlich nicht. Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher haben brav getan. WLAN gut. Und Essen in der Kantine Batavia gegessen (zu empfehlen! viele kleine Stände) Lage super, 200 m zum Bahnhof, direkt am Fatahillah Platz, Zentrum vom alten Batavia.

Check inn irgendwie kompliziert, lange und etwas abschreckend, das Frühstücksrestaurant hat uns auch nicht überzeugt.

L’emplacement est vraiment pratique pour visiter la vielle ville. Et le personnel est vraiment accueillant et surtout disponible 24/24.

位置在老城很容易找，晚上旁边很旺，门前转个弯就公交及地铁站交通方便，员工很好很耐心，三楼天台可以凉衣服有厨房可以做饭，公共空间够大氛围很好，去唐人街走路就可以了，主要是唐人街里有家换钱的店用人民币兑换汇率超级友好，但是去唐人街的路上有点脏。 刚来的第二天在这青旅大堂遇到一个当地华人，他帮助我解决了一个大难题，我感恩所有印尼华人！

The toilet lock is broken, and the toilet and shower are extremely dirty; it looks like the hostel hasn't been cleaned in 20 years.

就在Jakarta Kota火车站边上，老城区的中心，离雅加达历史博物馆和Taman Fatahillah非常近，交通便利，饮食多样，去各个景点都很方便

I had the private room, that was very nice and comfortable.

It didn't feel like a hostel with backpackers. I think there were many long stay guys from India or thereabout.

Das Personal war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Rezeption ist 24/7 bwswtztu, man kann also ohne Probleme nachts einchecken. Man hat im Bett ein kleines Fach, wo man alles Wichtige verstauen kann. Die Betten waren bequem. Ser soziales Hostsl, toll, um Leute kennenzulernen:)

Viele Mosquitos im Schlafzimmer. Ich wurde jede Nacht gestochen. Es ist kein Platz für Backpack oder Koffer im Zimmer, aber es gibt große Locker in Flur. Mein Bettlaken war dreckig und mit Haaren einwr anderen Person. Auch die Duschen wurden gefühlt nie geputzt, da war ws leider dreckig.

Ce genre d'établissement ( hostel ) est agréable si les autres clients sont respectueux. Malheureusement ,2 individus mal léchés( indonésiens ou indiens ..)ont eu un comportement inacceptable...lumière commune dans le dortoir ,discussion entre eux très forte,et ce jusque 1h du matin ..Forcément, ca énerve... D'autre part ,la propreté et l'entretien l'établissement laisse beaucoup à désirer. Ca glisse sur la mauvaise pente...

Bon accueil, Bonne localisation (Proximité: restaurants, centre veille ville, marché..), Chambre lits superposés confortables. Sanitaires communs propres.

This is a fab hostel, heaps of room to hang out, socialise or not as you prefer. Free hot and cold water, kitchen facilities (plus, awesome street food just outside in evenings!). Reliable wifi including in the rooms. Capsule-style girls dorm with personal lockers, lights, and power points. But the best thing - the staff! It's the little things that go beyond your expectations - helping after an accident, printing boarding passes, patience and helpful advice - that makes this hostel deserve more than 10 out of 10. And all without charging extra, unlike many hostels. Great job guys and girls, keep doing what you do!

Very close to 3 museums, main bus station. The city also provides free walking tour nearby. Every Sunday they have all sort of vendors outside selling cheap items.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was such a good social hostel. Nowadays it seems like most of the people are Indians/Pakistanis who are staying longterm so definitely does not have that same social easy to meet people vibe. Also the toilets are always gross, I think they are cleaned but it seems the guests don’t know how to use them properly.

The location of this hostel was perfect. The main railway station was only a 3-minute walk away, making it very easy to travel around the city. Chinatown was just a 10-minute walk, and there were plenty of markets, restaurants, and a vibrant food street right outside the hostel. Kota Tua itself is a beautiful and lively area, especially at night. The riverside comes alive with coffee stalls, delicious street food, and live music, creating a fantastic atmosphere to relax and enjoy the local culture. Everything you need is within walking distance, making this an excellent place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jakarta.

Staff are lovely and remembered me from a previous stay. Beds are comfortable and even though I was in a dorm room it felt like I had ny own space.

The hostel was great. The staff were lovely and helpful. The beds are set up so you have your own pod type bed. Felt like I had my own space. Quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to stay here again when Im back in Jakarta

The corridor part of the room between beds and wall was a little small. My locker was broken.

The location was very nice! And the staff was also very kind

There was a strange vibe with lots of older men hanging around in the hostel all day. If i would have been traveling solo without my boyfriend i would not have felt comfortable! Also the toilet and the shower are just not clean, the floors are also dirty. We were relieved we only booked one night!

I didn’t stay although I paid. The room was very dirty. The bathroom was quite dirty as well. The pillows had a lot of hair. Sheets had a lot of stains. AC was not working properly.

I’m not sure if it was just the particular time that I was staying, but it was definitely an older age group, in particular older men? I had some comments made towards me and didn’t feel quite as comfortable here as I have at other places as a solo female traveller, just as a heads up to others

Bathrooms are quite grim. If you’re a bit of a princess (like me) you will struggle with it.

Lo staff è eccezionale, anche l’ambiente è di persone simpatiche e ci sono bevande e cibo in vendita, la reception è aperta 24 ore, biliardo e giochi da tavolo, niente male ! Sei in “centro”, anche se la città è enorme!

Le camere erano un po’ troppo piccole e avendo un letto superiore il materasso scivolava un po’ quando dormivo, si può migliorare mettendo un Rigoletto contenitivo ai letti superiori in modo da evitare che si scivoli o ci si faccia male.

- constant power cut on 3rd floor where my private room was - very little place to put stuff - not very clean indeed - not being serviced...

The staff were so good and cooperative! They helped me with every little things! The bathrooms were clean too! But not the rooms! It was tiny and uneasy to sleep! Mosquitoes at night! No property girls room door locked! AC was not working!

The staff worked in early morning is very friendly and helpful. He gave me suggestion on spending last few hours in Jakarta.

Some parts in the hostel is a bit old and may need renovation. But they still function well. Also, i recommend they update their map in hostel, as the "free bus tour" bus stop on it is not correct 😞
