Taksim Palace Hotel

The staff was responsive but they took their time.

Close to Taxim’s square. Also very close with metro’s station. Taxis prices were also cheap.

Before the trip, I was a little worried after reading the comments of previous guests, but despite the monotonous breakfast and the equipment, which, while clean, were not new, I was overall satisfied with my 5-day stay and may choose the same hotel in future trips.

The location didn't seem very safe at night.

Dusty, dirty, broken tap water, cold, heather start at 11pm to 7am. Everywhere was dusty and dirty. Heather inside the bathroom was leaking. I am not happy with hotel and never go again and breakfast not ready on time and not really good.

Entgegen anderer Bewertungen war ich zufrieden. Kein Schnickschnack, aber für eine Städtereise ausreichend. Zimmer und Duschbereich waren sauber. Frühstück einfach aber ebenfalls ausreichend.

This is where Reality hits expectations- looking at the pictures of rooms this hotel offers it seems pretty good, but it's totally opposite. Rooms are very small; no- the walls are not sound proof, they're more like 'you can hear someone whispering in the next room and every step taken in the corridor'- sleepless nights guarantied. Scratched old furniture, cracked mirrors, missing handles... And smell of cigarettes everywhere. Breakfast more like for child and for toast lovers.

The room was very spacious as was the bathroom, there was plenty of drawer and cupboard space and the small fridge was great for storing water. The air conditioning unit was very welcome on days when I got back and was guite hot. The bedding was very comfortable and there were extra pillows and covers available if needed. The service was excellent and the people were very friendly.

The hotel is a bit tired, but the price reflected this. The lift was quite noisy, but my room was near the motor, the hotel was full, but I am sure that if I had mentioned it and it was possible I would have been moved.

It is a fantastic location and a short walk to Takism Square and the M2 metro. It is down a very narrow street, which does make transfers difficult, but I loved the fact that I was staying on a Turkish street and not in some flash cookie cutter hotel that could be in any country. If you like that you'll love the location. The staff are also simply fantastic and so helpful.

The apartments are in the building opposite, which has no lift. We had heavy luggage which made the climb interesting but not a deal breaker.

It was the worst hotel I ever stayed. The location was very bad and the location was not safe even. The hotel was not as shown in the pictures. Breakfast wasn't good also

Breakfast was the simplest you can find. Same every day. They should cancel it, not to disappoint guests, or at least offer as an option.

Very aged rooms. Constant noise and shouting of people outside at night which kept me up, which cannot be silenced. Elevator can just about accommodate a single person. Breakfast was some cheeses and an egg on a plate. Tea and coffee was simple. I decided to get breakfast outside on the second day, as it was very poor in the hotel. The sights around the hotel are like a slum, not very welcoming

I have 7 nights stay there, they didn't clean the room and bathroom and nor changed the bedsheets & towel as requested many times. Pathetic service

Staff of the hotel are very helpful, bed is very comfortable, room is very clean and with all what u need are in it (TV, heater, A/C, hairdryer, shower cabin and supplies, safe box, towels). Single room surprise me with the size but I like that by 30$ I got separated room with bath room inside the room in centre of the city.

It’s not what I didn’t like, it’s what I note as hotelier that Furniture is scratched and no style in the room. But everything was work and this is more important

No thing was good

1-They made check in only after 2:30 Pm, we were exusted from Travel. It should be at 2 o'clock. 2- Breakfast was very poor only one dish and little. 3- The woman waiter for breakfast was unhappy and throwing Turkish words ununderstanded to us, also she was always angry. 4- Staffs were not helpful, they let us take our luggages by ourselves also they are not offering wifi to us.

The price was ok

It was a very bad surprise, a tinny room, everything is broken, no maintenance, no shampoo, very poor breakfast…

First of all I did like hotel’s location cause the hotel close to the taksim square(5-7min) and to Istiklal street(2-3min)by walking . And stuffs are friendly, kindly and helpfully. The room was nice and clean and delicious breakfast.

nothing , we did not stay there, we found out that the apartment which we booked was on the hotel roof , on 4th floor without elevator !! moreover the stairs we used to go up to check was very very narrow to use it if you carry even hand bag, also ,, one room in that apartment without air-condition and it was very very hot inside, of course we left immediately to other hotel.

we didn't like the mysterious advertise and false describe to that hotel in booking.com page, we did not like our fight with booking.com and with the hotel it self to get back our money which we pay and we did not receive any service against, we did not like running with our kids & our luggage at 10 PM to find other hotel to stay .

The turkish staff was too rude ! The room was not clean and A/C was not working ! It is the worst experience I have ever had

Only thing about this uncomfortable property is that it's near to Taksim square and easy access to transportation and foods.

We never ever have been in this worst stay property class.It's below 0 star property. The property is not upto hygiene.Bugs are there and we do have to use anti-allergic and sprays for bugs and mosquitoes.No cleaniness facilities and no change of beds. Showers are broken.This property is suitable for those who don't care anything else only looking for shelter.

The hotel is good for its price as well as Taksim location but the surrounding area is not a nice one. There are many cafes and 24/7 markets but the street is smelly and dirty. There are also all kinds of people around day and night, walking at night is not unsafe but it feels like it.

I didn't like anything of this horrible hotel. It's cheap but isn't worth it. The bathroom ceiling was black because of the mold. I don't wanna continue because I feel depresed 😔

Alles was heel goed, personeel was super lief.

It was so bad, 3 nights without heater and every nights they told me tomorrow will fixed, I couldn't sleep well for 3 nights

This hotel is nothing like the photos it’s a very rundown place the area is terrible my advice as a regular Traveler do not stay here do you only thing that was good was the staff very friendly other than this disgusting

Too much noise 24 hours especially mid night, arguments and shouting down the road, electricity cut, very weak and regular cut with the internet service, bed sheets and towels are so dirty and not clean at all , even after I mentioned that to the reception on many occasions

Das Hotel war eine pure Katastrophe. Wir hatten den Notausgang direkt im Zimmer, d.h man könnte von draußen aus in unser Zimmer reinkommen. Beim Check-In wurde uns der Schlüssel einfach in die Hand gedrückt, ohne zu sagen welche Etage es ist. Das Zimmer war sehr alt und das Badezimmer unbenutzbar

CC from my recent message to Expedia: You are informed that the hotel we reserved was a fraud. We checked in and out immediately, as the room was nothing remotedly similar to what was advertised. The employee admitted he has such complaints every single time, and we avoided any further argument since there is no refunding. Yet, we preferred to leave immediately than negotiate any room change. Please review your policy of no refund for this property, and remove it from your lists. It is a fraud. We can send you photos to compare to advertisement for yourself. We hope there is some hope for refund - they said no refund because reservation money goes through expedia, so you are involved in this situation as well. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cute little basic room. Clean and tidy. Own bathroom. Really helpful staff, speaks good English. Noisy location, because it's close to the Taksim area, where there is always something happenng!

7 Tage kein Austausch von Bettwäsche, Handtüchern, Seife, Klopapier! Putzfrau NIE gesehen. Zimmer EXTREM klein. 2 Betten lose, die immer voneinander weg drifteten. Nachts laut/ Wände dünn - man hört Nachbarn beim Schnarchen Nie nie wieder. ( kein Frühstück sowie so)

Не знаю как в самом отеле, но апартаменты которые они предлагают это конечно экстрим ) тараканы это пол беды, а вот газовая колонка в комнате в деревянном шкафу поразила конечно...

In general the apparemment wasn’t in good condition. Burned blankets, broken sink, damaged hitting. Bad wifi too!

Das Zimmer auf der 6. Etage war übel. Das Bad voller Deckenschimmel. Ekelerregend. Der Schlafraum klein mit ekeligen Vorhängen, Blutpflecken. An einer Seite fehlte der Vorhang. Das Hotel hat eine finstere Seitenstraßenlage mit dreckiger Umgebung. Eine abends angsteinflößende Gegend. Bin froh, dass nichts schlimmes Passiert ist.

Es ist nicht in einer sicheren Lage Badezimmer ist nicht gut genug Toilette var kaputt

Es war schmutzig, eklig und dreckig! Die Dusche war kaputt die Wände in der Dusche waren heruntergekommen, eine Berührung hat gerreicht damit die Wand bricht! Das Bett war voller Haare und Löcher und Blut! Insekten überall und Insektenreste an der Wand! Es gab keine Balkontür nur die äußere Wand! Das Gebäude roch nach mariuhans

We were chocked about the street where the hotel was. The personal was nice but the rooms... The smell when we opened the room door was awful, it was a mix of smoke and mold. Everything was so discusting! The room was cold and it was a little bit blood on the bedsheet. We didn't sleep there, we changed hotel!

Het was een ramp na inchecken ons kamer gekregen en we doen de deur open met een ‘ sleutel’ en mijn echtgenoot krijgt n balk op zyn hand. We zyn nr de receptie gegaan ze konden niets doen en spraken zelfs amper tege ons. Hierna hebben we een nieuwe boeking gemaakt we konden er niet blijven alles was vuil. Een regelrechte ramp en helaas een slechte begin van een citytrip.

J'ai fait jne reservation pour 2 nuit et j'ai quitte apres avoir passe la 1ere nuit car On m'a attribue un apprt tres sale qui n'est meme pas dans l'hotel, dans la chambre il y a un chaufo d'eau dont tu sens le gaz brule qui provient de ce dernier j'ai du passe la nuit avec la fenetre ouverte meme s'il faisait froid et il y avait trop de bruit. Tres mauvais emplacement surtout pour les familles car c'est un quartier connu par la prostitution. En general je me suis fait arnaque car les photos qu'on voit sur le site ne sont pas reelles et j'ai parle avec le receptioniste il m a dit dsl je ne peux rien faire moi je suis un simple salarie ici.

Very dirty .no room to swing a cat .no facilities. It was no what they show on the picture. BIG BIG MISTAKE.
