Wonderful greeting upon arrival and throughout our stay all staff were fantastic -- stayed for IMW and host went above and beyond by doing an early morning breakfast and transported us to town.

We had breakfast both mornings and I have to say all the breakfasts were first class.

Great stop for an overnight stay in Tenby. Room was clean and comfy. Food was good, staff friendly. They do evening meals as well as breakfast. Food was good.

Room was right next to railway which was OK for the one night we were there.

The is a lovely little pub/stay just outside the town. I booked it for my stay for the IMW 2026. And I couldn't have booked a better place. The person who runs this place - Karen, is an incredible human being. She drops athletes on the race day to help us out on such a stressful day. For me, she saved my life as I finished quite late at around 11 pm, lots went wrong for me on the day. And at around 12 am I rang her and asked if she could help! And she was there to pick me up under minutes. I was injured as I had two bike crashes and I could barely walk. And if she had not been there I would had to limp 3 km in dark to get back. I was literally saved that night. Needless to say I hugged her and she holds a very special place in my heart for the rest of my life. Love you KAREN! You are incredible.

Room was well appointed, very clean, quiet and comfortable, plenty of coffee and milk when extra requested. All meals were excellent, a good selection at breakfast and dinner and always hot, beautifully cooked and generous portions, in fact so much we could not manage the delicious sounding desserts except one evening! All staff were very helpful and cheerful Location was excellent, only 5 minutes drive into Tenby

We had a room right at the side of a main road all we could hear was the cars all night,also as a rule to be aware of other people past 9pm we was kept awake till nearly midnight due to a group of woman

The staff at the Overlander were courteous and friendly throughout our stay. The room was very clean and the quality of all meals served was excellent.

We had been stuck in very heavy traffic on our way down so were running very late. We phoned the hotel to inform them of this and they very kindly asked if we wanted to dine in that evening. We did so they sent over a menu by email; we made our choices and phoned them back. On arrival our dinner was ready and it was excellent! Breakfasts were excellent too. Our room was very nice but the sloped ceilings caused me to bang my head a few times; but I soon got used to avoiding it. An added bonus was the fabulous sunrise over the sea near Tenby which we viewed from bed.

The food in the restaurant was very good.

There was a lot off noise in the bedroom from the main road just outside the window. It made it very hard to sleep. We departed a day early due to this. We was in the front of the hotel so not sure how noisy the rooms at the back are that is where the train line is.

The rooms and the venue were very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the staff were very kind because we arrived when the restaurant was closing, but despite that, they served us excellent, truly delicious homemade food.

Very friendly staff, comfortable room, few lovely touches, bath robes. Very cosy & homely. Home cooking was delicious & very accommodating to me being dairy & gluten free. Had a car park which is always a bonus. Being near a railway line was not a problem & it was close to a footpath to a great beach.

Very noisy at night, active train track one side and a busy road the other side. Also the other guests were very noisy in and out of their rooms, as there was no handle on the outside of the room door you had to let it slam shut.

We enjoyed friendly staff... very clean room ..and breakfast was lovely...and was nice being able to have evening meal..and beach was short walk away so could go for nice walk if you wanted... and not far to travel into tenby...or Saundersfoot...

This is a little gem of a place, family run and nothing was too much trouble. The room was really clean, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a good range to choose from, evening meals were really good and plentiful. Friendly welcoming staff. Great location as you can walk a couple of steps down the road and get a train straight to Tenby. We will be returning 😁

Room was great, really spacious with a comfy bed and two arm chairs. The walk-in wardrobe was a real surprise. Thee was a good choice of breakfast and I recommend eating an evening meal in the restaurant at least once in any stay. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily accessible from the hotel, and Tenby is only a pleasant stroll away.

The room was very spacious, nice big bed. Having parking was also a plus. Owner was very accommodating.

Shower over bath a little difficult to climb in and out. Shower head too small. Train woke us up at 6.19 am. Would have liked to have a drink in the bar but closed very early, although the owner did allow us to have a drink to take to our room.

WOW!! Beautiful location and building. So peaceful and picturesque. Stayed in room 2. Tastefully decorated,bed very, very comfortable. Linen spotless. Ensuite again spotless.most relaxing night sleep I've had in ages. Breakfast just topped off the whole experience. Excellent quality thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about location and all that Tenby has to offer. Fantastic price for all's to offer. 11/10.

Location next to busy main road made it noisy and even with windows closed today traffic was still very audible. Also next to a railway line so early morning trains woke us. Set of bedside drawers lacked all the drawers and looked scruffy.

The room was clean and a decent size and well appointed all worked. We had a very nice light dinner and an excellent breakfast. A good long walk on the beach as well. The manager and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing wrong with it at all. We were concerned about the nearby rail way but there were only a couple trains that came past but they were not a problem.

Super clean, and really cute property. The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were really friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable, overall a really nice stay!

We didn’t bring a car, so the walk into town was about 30 minutes, which wasn’t terrible. There was a train station directly next to the property, but it was consistently delayed. No worries though, the walk was wonderful!

The New Overlander is a great place in a great location. It’s a short walk to the beach and you can walk along the sea’s edge into Tenby. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. There’s a good choice of breakfasts and you can have an evening meal too, if you choose. We’ve stayed here before and look forward to another visit.

How far into town as we were celebrating my 81st birthday and disabled cost £10 for a taxi.The taxi service had a 4hour wailing time. Bathroom shower very small. Very basic accommodation

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Great location with the train station nearby for a 3 mins ride into Tenby if you don’t fancy the 30 min walk. Room was spotless and comfortable, we had the king size room. Staff are friendly, we felt right at home and ate at the pub 2 nights out of the 3 we were there. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! Perfect stay for the long course weekend we were there for. Will definitely be going back 😎 thanks a million!

Vegetables, and the meat pie, didn't have a crust on the bottom. The room we were in, had two sloping roofs, we kept banging our heads.

The food was very good with breakfast cooked to order. We also enjoyed the food in the evening which was good value and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and good facilities

There wasn't really anything we didn't like apart from the bed. We found it a bit to hard for our liking.

I liked everything about the hotel. It was in a good position for a walk to the beach and had ample parking space. The staff were really friendly and understanding as I made a slight error on my booking. Thinking i had booked 3 nights causing a little confusion, which the hostess sorted out. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was excellent.

The room was lovely ,spotlessly clean.Fresh towels provided every day.The staff were all very friendly and helpful.One of us is coeliac and this was well catered for which was fantastic.Lovely breakfast...excellent.

T.v. reception a bit poor...there was a dreadful droning sound which kept coming on...due to poor weather we were in our room from late afternoons and one day it was droning for hours..it seems the room next to ours had gone out and left the extractor fan on...it nearly drove me nuts..had to leave the room...maybe request guests to make sure its off when they go out....

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von Tenby, es liegt zwischen Straße und Bahnlinie, das hat uns aber in keiner Weise gestört. Es ist ein familiengeführtes Hotel, man fühlt sich schnell wohl, alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Frühstück und Abendessen sind super. Von dort aus, kann man schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge machen.

La posizione vicino a Tenby ed alle spiagge del pembrokeshire. Stanza grande e colazione ottima.

Mancanza di acqua calda in bagno. Per due giorni consecutivi abbiamo dovuto chiedere che ci venisse accesa. È stato un grande disagio, specie il primo giorno che ero già sotto la doccia con acqua fredda.

Lovely small family run they always make you feel welcome. The location is good in easy distance from Tenby. The food is very good and fairly priced.

Fabulous location just a short walk from the beach. Perfect if you are walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Our room was great - very comfy bed - spacious room with easy chairs and TV and windows looking out onto the sand dunes. Good sized bathroom with bath, shower and dressing gowns. Everything spotlessly clean. Great evening meal and fabulous breakfast. But the best part - the staff are lovely - welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Thank you New Oerlander.
