The breakfast was amazing and loved the fact is was cooked fresh and the American on the Sunday morning Our room was lovely and our bed was so comfortable The house keepers did a wonderful job

Easy to access, plenty of parking and easy access to the town and the beach, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was great with good options for breakfast, the bar food was great and you could also use the restaurant if you wanted to, rooms were clean and tidy and having a balcony was great

As we live in a bungalow we weren’t used to the stairs up to the room there were only 24 but no lift,

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town, quiet and friendly. Great breakfast too. We don't play golf but a fun thing to watch from the balcony.

Maple cured bacon on the bacon on the breakfast, the drama was resolved with extra black pudding.

The property location is great. The room was very clean and comfortable. Selection of breakfast was excellent. The best part of this stay was the staff. So pleasant and all smiles. Sue was superb, such a wonderful, helpful lady. She made our trip perfect with her recommendations of Tenby. We really appreciated this as we had such a good visit exploring the local area.

The property was clean and modern. The breakfast was very good, high quality ingredients and served fresh/cooked to order.

I was a bit surprised that the room didn’t have air conditioning, especially since the property seemed quite modern. Also, there was no iron and the air conditioning units outside the window which supplied the rest of the property were quite noisy, which was a bit of a nuisance. On the four times we visited reception, it was closed and we had to ask a member of staff for help. The breakfast service was also a bit disappointing. We were served by three young girls who seemed a bit inexperienced. We were given menus when we arrived, but it took about twenty minutes for them to get our order. It didn’t seem like it was very busy, with only half a dozen tables occupied. The continental breakfast table ran out of milk and juice a couple of times, and it seemed like they didn’t put much out.

The head receptionist was superb with her local knowledge and very professional . The dark haired cleaning lady was always happy, pleasant and cheerful, which shows how happy she is working here. Our room was very nice however we do wish we could book one of the rooms with a balcony. We will plan better next time and not leave it to last minute to book. Lovely views from all round the property. No children screaming round the place.

No fridge in room They don’t have air con in rooms however fans were in every room, which was needed. General observation- Continental breakfast was very tasty but basic, and I understand this leads to less food waste. On second morning there was a dirty cup on my table but was rectified immediately when I asked for a clean cup. Second morning was extremely busy at breakfast time. The chef was even out cleaning tables inbetween cooking. The two young girls were rushed off their feet, this resulted in longer waiting time for orders being taken for cooked food and being cooked. No lift to upstairs rooms, so those with mobility issues need to be aware of this and only book one of the few ground floor rooms. If walking into town , again need to be aware that there are a few inclines to navigate .

A very well appointed golf hotel within walking distance to Tenby Town centre. Rooms are tidy and clean, and the cleaners were All polite and very helpful.

Had a poor experience one morning at breakfast when I sent some food back. The young waitress was stroppy and rude, along with other members of breakfast staff. The breakfast is mediocre at best.

Perfect location, 10 minutes walk to the beach and town. The room was clean and comfortable with a good view of the golf course. The breakfast had a large good quality selection. The receptionist, Sue Marriott was brilliant. Very knowledgeable about Tenby & surrounding area. Made our stay more enjoyable. The Dunes was very clean & tidy. All the staff were very friendly.

Our stay was Monday to Wednesday. The links restaurant did not serve food in the evenings on these days, so we had to go out for food . It would have been nice to have the option if the restaurant was open as the menu looked good.

Our stay at The Dunes was great! Sue in reception was so helpful giving us great recommendations and pointers on where to visit during our time here! Such a friendly service from all we came into contact with and the room was stunning! We will definitely be returning to stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

Large spotless room with balcony overlooking the golf course. Extra large very comfortable bed, coffee machine and kettle. Modern bathroom with powerful shower. Free on site car park. Full/Continental breakfast included.

No lift to upstairs room, two sets of steep stairs. No grab rails to get into and out of shower, also mat had to be used every time as quite slippery. A fan was needed on the room, especially with the hot weather. A small fridge would have been useful to keep drinks and milk cold. Hotel situated a good 20 minutes’ walk out of Tenby, unsuitable for the less able.

Excellent, comfortable hotel - part of the golf course and also the 19th hole and golf clubroom. The food was very good - we had Sunday lunch and breakfast each day. Very good choice on breakfast menu and all very tasty. Really excellent staff - friendly, helpful and efficient.

We were there on Sunday to Tuesday and sadly the restaurant wasn't open on those evenings. They did have a bar menu available but not after 5pm (I think it was). Bar food available until 8pm would have been great - especially when the main restaurant was closed.

The breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Our room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very good and friendly especially Sue on reception.

We stayed 1 night at the Dunes and had a brilliant stay. Booked for lunch for my daughters birthday and had a fantastic meal. Ethan? talked us through the menu and was very helpful not only with the food but also suggesting places to visit. We had the small plates as a starter, all the dishes were exceptional. Tempura brocolli was delicious. Crab salad was very good and the burger was huge! All the staff couldn't have been more helpful or polite. The room was spacious and nicely laid out, and the fan was very welcome considering it was in the middle of the heatwave. Parking at the hotel was also very good. We stayed for breakfast which was was also freshly cooked and a nice choice of cereals, pastries etc. Lovely to look out over the golf course whilst eating your meals. Will definitely stay again soon. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very special.

Could not fault anything

If you don’t mind the short 15min walk into Tenby centre, then the Dunes is a great place to stay especially because they have parking which few hotels in Tenby do.

The rooms didn’t have air conditioning or even fans so on hot nights the temperature in the room was quite uncomfortable.

The staff are always so welcoming and we always have a wonderful stay!! The location of the Dunes is perfect to have a quiet evening and still access the beach and tenby town

We found a toenail cutting on the bed and complained to the receptionist but nothing was done… it would have in their interest to offer us a free meal or drinks.

Free parking, modern hotel with quiet & spacious rooms, balcony was fab, near to a Tenby south beach (a nice long walk) with cut-through access from hotel, nice staff (particularly Sue, who gave us an excellent tip to walk part of Pembrokeshire Coast path, taking in Stackpole, Barafundal and Bosherton lily ponds - over favourite day trip out). Breakfast was pretty good, but not quite exceptional (see notes below). Would likely stay again (this is our second visit).

Breakfast could have slightly better making the stay 10/10. For the price, the fruit selection could have included strawberries, blueberries, melon kiwi, etc. The large fruit bowl was mostly untouched by guests, as uncut. Guests had to keep asking for more yogurt to be put out into the small serving bowl. The fruit could even have been ordered as part of breakfast menu, to avoid wastage. The croissants also could have been cooked to order (to save waste, and fresher/warmer and some batches looked a bit burnt).

Under cooked bacon&sausage. Very stuffy rooms. Limited food menu. No Waldrobes in the room. No air-conditioning in the room. No fridge in the room. Towel rail in the bathroom constantly on, making the room even more stuffy and humid.

The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was spacious very clean and bright and with a lovely bathroom. Lo action was ideal, parking in site and a short walk into the town and the beaches. Breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the restaurant where, again, the service was first rate.

We had a lovely stay at The Dunes. Sue on reception was incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us a thorough check-in along with some excellent recommendations. Following her suggestion, we dined at the Italian restaurant Il Caminetto, and the food was incredible. We would recommend making a reservation as it’s very popular. We’re already planning our return visit!

Bit of a distance to main town

Sue on reception was very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for her. After such a warm welcome it set the tone for the rest of our stay. All the staff were excellent and the food was very much up to the high standards set by the staff.

One small thing was the bathroom would have benefited from having a hand wash/ soap otherwise no complaints.

A fantastic stay at The Dunes. My room was beautifully decorated with a calm, modern style and plenty of space to unwind. The balcony overlooking the golf course made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was a standout — fresh, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, plus a continental spread. Every member of staff I met was warm, courteous and genuinely helpful. The hotel is also perfectly placed, with a gentle and easy walk into Tenby. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it - it’s a hidden gem.

Fabulous and would go again

Great location close to beach and town and super parking switch 4 EV chargers which is excellent and rare to find at a hotel in Wales, although charging park on outside of Tenby as well. Only comment is no lift to first floor so heavy bags need assistance which is quickly provided. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and a superb Welsh breakfast.

The views, lovely hotel room, very clean and modern plenty of provisions (coffee etc) breakfast was v good standard Continental and hot breakfast was good (except my egg was slightly overdone, it happens no biggy was given a new one when asked) really lovely for you guys to let us use the carpark for the day after check out and good check in considering time. Room 5 is lovely really spacious and lovely bed, could do with a fan or aircon but the doors in the night time open with the curtains work too

No food available on Sundays Random piece of wood or something left on our balcony and couple of cobwebs, also the skirting board in the bathroom could have done with a small touch up of paint. I work in the hotel business so notice these things but a really nice stay 10/10 would return very happy.

Moderne, trés comfortable, situé légèrement à écart du village mais accessible sans problème à pied, pas vraiment un charme particulier mais nous nous y sommes sentis bien. Chambre et literie parfaits, et trés silencieux. Personnel trés compréhensif (gardien de nuit, puis réception) compte tenu de notre arrivée trés particulière à ... 6h du matin du fait d'un ferry arrivé en retard de .. 5h.

L'ambiance golf n'es pas ma tasse de thé, mais nous avons passé un bon moment grâce au comfort et à la gentillesse du personnel.

From the moment we met Sue at reception this lovely lady made us feel relaxed and welcome. Sue was friendly, professional and informative. The location was great, easy to access everything Tenby has to offer and the view from the balcony in our room was fabulous.
