This is an older hotel. Small room but comfortable and quiet. They give you a discount at Screamers for breakfast that has fantastic crepes and other breakfast items along with any ice cream you can dream of. ( lots of variety on the menu, we were only there for breakfast)

Stairs! Really not a huge complaint there are only two floors.

Super clean, good bed, nice bedding. Walkable to restaurants, great breakfast at a local diner, also walkable. Great access to the highway. Can’t think of a thing that needed improvement.

It was a cute hotel with parking right outside the room. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It was nice sitting at the table and chairs outside the room watching the world go by.

They had EV charger on the property, but the rate?! around $16/hr for a slow charger?

Friendly staff, location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The breakfast voucher redeemed at Screamers was very good. It included great coffee and a choice of 1 of 3 options.

The window had to be left open for the AC vent meaning it was noisy from the busy highway.

Main door was extremely squeaky wake up neighbours. No plugs by the bed for charging. The grounds seemed messy. Over grown vegetation, sauna room was iffy.

The shower pressure is incredible. It truly was the best shower I’ve ever used at a hotel!

I prefer a keycard over a traditional key, as I’m always worried I’m gonna lose it.

Très bon accueil et bon renseignements et conseils. Chambre et salle de bain propre, hot springs à 5 minutes en voiture. Petit déjeuner inclus dans un petit restau à 5 minutes à pieds, petit mais très bon fait maison. Le restau fait aussi glacier, goutées la veilles les glaces sont très bonnes.

On entend un peu les voitures, l'isolation des fenêtres pourrait être meilleure MAIS très peu de trafic la nuit et peu de camion sur cet axe. Un Sauna est dispo mais pas de Spa. Après avec les hot springs à côté ça n'aurait pas beaucoup d'intérêt.

The air conditioning unit was such that the window was opened and it made the room quite loud as it is on a major road.

Stevig bed, vernieuwde badkamer (al waren de voegen al gescheurd). Als je laat aankomt en het motel gebruikt als tussenstop om de dag erna weg te gaan is het prima. Wij waren er 2 dagen en dat was er 1 te veel.

Koelkast vroor ipv koelen dus we konden ons eten weggooien. De houten schrootjes en meubels maken de kamer erg donker. Er is geen kast. Je kunt de kamer niet doorluchten door 2 ramen tegen elkaar open te zetten, terwijl dat de snelste manier is om s avonds een gebouw te koelen. De mobiele airco maakt veel te veel herrie.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gateway Motel in Radium Hot Springs! Although the motel is not brand new, our room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights was the unforgettable breakfast at the charming, atmospheric café — such a lovely experience! We also really appreciated the Rocky Mountain cosmetics , which were a thoughtful touch. We traveled with our corgi, and it was great to find such a welcoming and comfortable place for both us and our four-legged companion. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again! Highly recommended!

Didn't like the 5.00 breakfast choice at screamers. Thats not continental breakfast. Beds were horrible. AC was so loud couldn't sleep.

Even though the room was small it was very comfortable and had all the conveniences to stow luggage without tripping over anything. Lovely ceiling fan to use which circulated the air to cool down rather than using the air conditioner.

Per essere un motel è stata un’ottima esperienza. Arredo un po’ vetusto ma funzionale e molto pulito. Offrono anche un buono sconto per la colazione presso un bar a circa 10 minuti di distanza (a piedi).

L’aspetto negativo è la vicinanza alla strada principale che rende le camere un po’ rumorose.

Good location just outside of town. Building is in the style of a European alpine hotel and is attractively adorned with summer flowers running the length of the upstairs balcony. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Included in the tariff is breakfast at a cafe a short walk down the hill. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance for your evening meal. You might see a herd of goats munching grass by the roadside.

I liked how friendly the manager and his associate was, always outside talking to people and taking care of outside areas wipping down outside tables and chairs

Mixed experience, a friendly host, comfy beds, lovely flower displays and clean rooms. But the motel is right by the road and the traffic noise is loud even late into the night and before 5am. The breakfast is not continental but a cd5 contribution to spend at a local cafe with a limited selection. And the biggest issue for us travelling with two young children is that we weren't told the access to the rooms was via an external staircase and open walkway. We'd booked a separate room for the children but parents ended up sleeping in with them for safety so we wasted the cost of one of our three rooms.

We used this Motel as a place to crash on our road trip. The outside is beautiful and reminded me of Switzerland. The beds were comfortable and the portable air conditioner helped during the heat wave. The view from the balcony was gorgeous even with the smoke. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast and we are so glad that we did. We so enjoyed the retro vibe of the restaurant and wished that we were spending more time in town so that we could come back and try the ice cream. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back.

The room was cute and charming. Lovely to have flowers along the balcony, and a place to sit outside with a view of the mountains. Clean and comfortable. Nice to have a fan over the bed, given the heat outside.

The air conditioning unit needed a small piece of wood or plastic at the top to block off the screen. The room was cool enough, but the space meant that sound from the traffic outside sometimes got through. We also thought the breakfast (at a cafe nearby) was very small (since the hotel advertised that breakfast was included)

Nachts ist es sehr laut durch vorbeifahrende LKWs und das Fenster vorne raus ist nicht ganz geschlossen durch die Luftzufuhr einer Klimaanlage. Auch lässt es sich nicht völlig abdunkeln. Das Frühstück sollte man nicht dazu buchen. Es wird über ein externes Café angeboten, wo man für einen Kaffee mit Milch dazu bezahlt. Auch ist es sehr wenig. Der gezahlte Preis ist viel zu hoch für die Leistung, wobei dies bei vielen Hotels in der Lage und Jahreszeit zutrifft.

It was dog friendly, plenty of area behind the hotel to roam around for the dog. The breakfast was good at the Screamers cafe.

The stairs. The locking mechanism on the door didnt work properly and was hard to lock from the outside with the key.

Just like their description, this location is conveniently near the town and the hot springs. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfy, all the conveniences supplied. They provided towels for the hot springs and even some delicious biscuits to go with our coffee. Nice touch. Our rooms were ready early. Breakfast is at their other location just down the street. We used the A/C until somewhere in the middle of the night when we opened the windows to the fresh air. Beautiful view as the sun rose to light up the mountain peaks.

Super Location. Ist zwar direkt an der Straße, aber nachts war es ruhig. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants und eine Hiking-Route zu den Hot Springs. Auf keinen Fall darf man an der Straße entlang gehen.

I liked the free breakfast, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the air conditioning worked really well, which was perfect for the hot weather. The staff were also very nice. The view was amazing, especially in the morning when we opened the curtains and saw a rainbow.

The staff, cleanliness, and location of the gateway was perfect for our one night stay. They were able to accommodate us for our parking needs. Checking in checking out was easy and it was so close to be able to walk to local establishments. Next time we’re driving through it’ll be our stay of choice!

The beds are extremely hard. You will wake up every morning with a sore back. They need a memory foam topper or something! The motel is right on the highway on a hill, so when semi-trucks come down the hill you can hear their e-brakes all night. The motel is extremely clean and tidy on check-in and they use Rocky Mountain soap products which is amazing/luxurious. However, if you plan to stay more than 2 days they do not clean the rooms/take out garbages/change the sheets/change the towels… so you have to ask for that and do it yourself. The reception is also only open from 4-7pm so you have to plan to ask them for anything. Next time when I come back to radium I will choose a motel (as there are plenty) off the main highway so it is not as noisy.

We had a great stay at The Gateway in Radium Hot Springs. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the price. We appreciated the direct booking discount, easy check-in process, and the convenient location close to Radium Hot Springs and a short drive from Invermere. The property was well-maintained. The included light breakfast was a nice bonus and made for an easy start to the day before exploring the Columbia Valley. We were looking for a simple mountain getaway focused on outdoor activities, and The Gateway was exactly what we needed. We would happily stay here again on a future trip to Radium.

Check in was really easy and I was immediately pleased when I entered, it was so cute, cozy and private. Everything was perfectly clean, the room and the soap in the bathroom smelt amazing! Hot water came fast and heat worked well. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a romantic stay. We will be coming back!! The breakfast was small but really nice, it only costed $5 if you wanted more. It was the perfect size for us as we were headed off on a hike right after. We ended up buying matcha lattes to go after and they were really good.

Whenever either myself or my wife and I are working in the area and need to stay over Gateway is our first choice. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable. Erin is always very friendly and kind. The breakfast is always something we enjoy. Can’t say enough. I should have left a review a long time ago as we’ve been staying here for many years.

The owners were great. They took the time to give directions, offer suggestions about the surrounding areas and were just friendly.

Very clean and friendly owners Erin and Joe, comfy beds. They provide towels for Radium hot springs about 1 km up the road. which was a nice touch. We arrived early they let us check in. I travelled with my small Shih Tzu dog Nuala, and they were very accommodating and there were no issues.

The room was clean and the veiw was lovely, seeing the mountains in the distance. It’s not fancy but provides all you need, including a kitchenette and comfortable bed, plus it’s walkable to the shops and restaurants (we recommend the Ol’Salzberg, a 4 min walk) Definately good value for the money.

Hearing came on in the night and it got hot quick, but it wasn't a big deal in all honesty, just got up and turned it down.

The room had all we needed and was very clean. It’s nothing fancy but the water was nice and hot, the bed was comfortable and we could control the heat ourselves….and we had a great veiw!

Breakfast was good. Portion sizes aren’t huge, so if you’re expecting something similar to a continental breakfast, this isn’t it. But the food was good and the diner is a nice way to start the day.

We were given contradictory information. The booking.com information was different from the information given on the card in the room which was different from what the staff told us regarding office hours and sauna use.
