Reviewed Jul 14, 2026

Reviewed May 14, 2026I had already paid the full amount through Booking.com before I arrived, but they charged me again because they said they couldn’t find the reservation in their system. When I checked out, they only refunded half of the money and still haven’t returned the remaining amount. I’m very disappointed with this experience.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2025During my recent stay at Wanda Vista Hohhot, I was disappointed by several aspects of the experience. The staff was notably unfriendly and appeared either unable or unwilling to communicate in English, which made resolving issues difficult. Although I was assigned to a non-smoking floor, some guests were smoking in their rooms. Shockingly, despite this being against hotel policy, the staff did not address the issue for an entire week. It was only after escalating the matter through Hotels.com that any action was taken. This lack of responsiveness and enforcement of rules significantly impacted my comfort during the stay. I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking a stress-free and accommodating experience. It falls far below the expectations of quality and service that travelers deserve.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2025Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not pleasant. The staff were overall unfriendly, and there were no English-speaking personnel available, or they seemed to avoid communicating in English altogether. This made it very difficult to address concerns or receive assistance during my stay. Despite being assigned a room on a non-smoking floor, my next-door neighbors smoked every day. When I raised this issue with the staff, their solution was for me to move rooms instead of addressing the source of the problem. This was extremely inconvenient and disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel for travelers seeking comfort, good service, or an accommodating environment.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2024May not be newly built but certainly very well maintained. They have connecting rooms which is perfect for my family. They even have theme room for the children. Very thoughtful of the hotel staff. Near a mall, so it is very convenient.
Probably the smoke smell, but not a big issue as it is only outside the lobby area.

Even though we booked a non-smoking room, it smells smokey. Their cleaning method is merely opening the window after the previous guest checked out.
