The only good thing was the bedding was clean

No toilet roll in the ensuite and smelt damp, dirty paintwork and walls. Needs a proper clean and redecoration. Felt like a hmo with dirty paintwork in communal areas especially the banister in the stairwell which I didn't want to touch as it was filthy. Thankfully only stayed for the 1 night.

Basic but functional. All clean. Bed comfy. Good shower. Excellent price for the night. Breakfast basic but again perfectly fine for the price. Easy to find and simple check in.

No nonsense, easy entry, room was clean and very comfortable bed. Arrived late and room was fresh with windows open. Easy walk to Bicester Motion.

Communal areas a bit tired but functional. A coffee machine would be nice. Somewhere to hang clothes would be good too.

Noisy guests in room above, walking round the room, laughing and joking till 3.30am.

It was clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a good night's sleep. The room was light and airy with a fan provided. There was even a mini fridge to chill our water in the exceptionally hot weather. The shower was hot and powerful although the showerhead is in a fixed position only suitable for shorter people! Breakfast was fine with plenty of cereals and hot drinks and toast.

Disponibilizaram pouco sabonete/material de higiene. E o café da manhã poderia ter queijo e fiambre. Senti falta de uma fonte de proteína mais expressiva. Tinha leite e iogurte, mas não tinham opções para pessoas com intolerância à lactose.

La cama era cómoda y tenía buen precio. Un bed and breakfast para una noche más que correcto. Se me mandó un código de acceso, en ningún momento traté con nadie del alojamiento. El desayuno bastante simple, tostadas y café de sobre. Pero suficiente para empezar el día.

We understand this is a budget B&B, and we weren’t expecting luxury. However, there are still some basic standards that should be met. The room wasn’t very clean, the towels had holes in them, and the fitted sheet didn’t properly fit the bed, so it kept coming off during the night and we ended up sleeping directly on the mattress. These are simple issues that would make a big difference to guests’ comfort.

The property was easy to access late at night for check-in. The room was big enough and had what was needed. There was enough variety for continental breakfast. The housekeeper was nice and friendly.

The room was by the kitchen so if the other residents had been noisy it could have been an issue. Luckily everyone was quite respectful. The towel rail was a bit rusty so could do with changing and the tops of the curtains could do with a wipe over. But those were very minor things.

Die Unterkunft selbst war völlig in Ordnung und alles sehr praktisch eingerichtet. Die Lage ruhig und leicht zu finden. Das Frühstück einfach- eben typisch englisch.

Leider war das Einchecken mit ein paar Problemen verbunden. Ich hatte die notwendigen Informationen nicht erhalten und habe deshalb vor Ort angerufen. Die Mitarbeiterin war nicht besonders freundlich und glaubte mir erst nicht, weil ihre Mail, die sie versendet hatte, nicht bei mir angekommen ist. Sie schickte mir die notwendigen Informationen dann per SMS, die jedoch erst in dem Moment bei mir eintraf, als sie uns, weil ich sie nochmals angerufen habe, etwas ungehalten die Tür öffnete. Des Weiteren war es ihr nicht möglich unsere Akkus, die wir für unsere Kühltasche, besonders bei der Hitze, für unsere Lebensmittel benötigen, für die zwei Nächte oder auch nur einer in einem Gefrierfach unterzubringen, damit wir sie für unsere Weiterfahrt hätten nutzen können.

Very basic but comfortable place for somewhere to sleep mid journey across the country. It was clean and provided everything necessary. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. I certainly wouldnt say it was a holiday home but was definitely fit for our purpose. Very good value for money. I would use again if needed. Thank you

The room was on level 1 as requested as my mum has trouble climbing stairs. However, the room was hot as there was no air-conditioning. Owner was considerate to provide a fan, which helped.

There was a lack of privacy as we had to leave the windows open for better ventilation and given that we were on the 1st floor, that made privacy an issue.

The property was ideally situated for my stay .

There wasn’t nowhere to wash things up other than in the bedroom and the replenishment of milk and water to fill the kettle in what was supposed to be the eating area / kitchen. No replenishment of toilet paper. The cups for drinks and glasses were not replaced and the two bowls that you was to put your used cups/ cutlery were disgusting and not cleaned out once while I was there for a 3 night stay . The hygiene was very poor and needs improvement massively. Although we could open the patio doors to let fresh air in we were told that we couldn’t sit outside in the back garden for the reason that if people upstairs wanted to get changed they didn’t want to see people looking up at them !! Surely if you’re getting dressed / changed then you would draw the curtains like most people do !! On that assumption if people want to get dressed/ changed at the front of the property does that mean all pedestrians walking along the pavement and the traffic driving by are all stopped while people are dressing/ getting changed because they don’t want to draw the curtains!!

The bed was really comfortable. The house was lovely and felt safe ..pub across the road and local shop and 2 take away food places within 2 mins walk ..great location ..would definitely recommend for a brief stay .lovely bathroom ..and overall a good place to stay

Shower was either scalding or freezing. A small sachet of shower gel was provided which wasn't enough. The shower was also connected at an odd angle to the wall. Fan and fridge were on a shelf but no plug so you have to move these to an inconvenient location if you need them. Which I did given the heat. Breakfast was abysmal. Stated as a continental breakfast but it was the pits.

Der Wust an Verbotsschildern. Und die Fragen der Bediensteten. Selbst mit Hund. Allein die Liste der Verbote per Mail hätte uns stornieren lassen sollen.

Great location in a quite residential area with short walk into Bicester. Would highly recommend fir a couple of nights stay over as a great price and is spot on

Bathroom was very small, no room to move in the shower and no adjustment on height or spray.

The people running it were very kind and supplied us with a fan on a super hot evening. It was much appreciated. There were plentiful breakfast supplies. The key code was an efficient entry system.

Not a dislike, just a mention but extra pillows would have been appreciated and a bath mat.

When we went to make breakfast luckily there were 2 bowls to have cereal but only 1 plate for toast as other guests had us d them and there was no sink to wash the dirty dishes

The walls were really thin and we were speaking in the evening and got told off at 2am but as it was a Friday evening usually we would be up till late so that made it a bit awkward but we genuinely loved the service and the place. The host was great even though she was probably annoyed with us

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from both a cleanliness and hospitality perspective. Upon arrival, we found that the room had not been cleaned to the standard one would expect. The bedsheets appeared untidy, there were visible marks on the duvet, and the overall cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable, with springs that could be felt through it, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The checkout experience was equally frustrating. Checkout was scheduled for 10:30 AM, and while we were actively packing and preparing to leave, the owner came to the door multiple times reminding us to vacate the property. We completely understand the need to respect checkout times, but the manner in which this was communicated felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. A property can have minor issues, but guest experience is largely defined by how hosts communicate and handle situations. Unfortunately, both the condition of the room and the interaction at checkout fell well below expectations. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here and would suggest looking at alternative accommodation options.

Einfach zu finden, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr ruhig in der Nacht, obwohl gleich gegenüber auf der anderen Strassenseite einn Pub ist. Dort kann man gut essen und trinken. Kontinentales Früstück ist in Ordnung. Internet schnell und einfach einzurichten.

Kein Abwaschbecken und Wasserhahn in der Küche. Toilette/Dusche im Raum im Erdgeschoss recht klein, aber funktionell.

A good value for money accommodation. Cold Breakfast and toast has good selection. Pub offering food and EV charging, a chinese, chip shop and mini market are all just across the road. Bus stop to Oxford just outside the property. Easy walk in to Bicester which is served with plenty of pubs and restraunts of all types

Bracket for Shower head was very low in our room (1) meaning you had to hold it above yourself. Basic accommodation, but good value for money. If you want a little more luxury, be prepared to pay more.

It is close to bicester shopping village which is why we booked. The three beds and private bathroom in one room was a bonus. Great big drive at front so parking was not a problem. Great communication on how to check in. Big kitchen for a serve yourself style breakfast. 45 minute drive to “ clarksons farm” we managed to get a last minute reservation

We didn’t find the beds comfortable 2 out of 3 of us had no sleep. The springs felt like they were poking out everywhere. The duvets were paper thin with one lumpy pillow. The bathroom was practical but needed a bit of extra cleaning. Theres tiny little steps which could do with hazard tape to visually indicate there was a few trip ups. (The cctv will of caught a fall on outside steps 7.40 ish if the owners want a laugh)

Clean, comfortable, does what it says it does (think Dulux paint advert). Quiet during "quiet hours" see rules of the building. Functional for what is needed, basic. Similar to a hostel feel.

No staff contact. Felt more like a hostel, do it yourself, than a B&B. CCTV cameras on shared areas omnipresent. Room faced the road, so you either had no fresh air or passing traffic noise from outside, if you opened the window. Small details re finishing touches to maintanance work were missing e.g. in the bathroom there are many holes visible where previous fixtures/fittings have been but now removed so wall plugs remaining. Similarly for downstairs kitchen area. Shower was power-shower but no consistent hot water, often running cold. So sink washing was preferred as hot water supply good, but limited on coverage re wash. Basin plug missing, I carry my own.

Easy no fuss

It was a nice little cosy traditional bed and breakfast villa. I was quite surprised at the way the space has been utilised with the ensuite system in every room. The description of what the establishment offers was so spot on, exactly what it says on the tin😁 The staff lady was very good likewise. Very efficient and kind. The whole combination culminated in a brilliant weekend away for me. I am very happy with the overall service and would book the place again when I visit Bicester. I will be recommending it also to all my friends.

Quilts were very thin and there was no extra bedding. Even with the little heater we were cold.

I was attending a wedding so location was great as only 10 min drive. I saw no one at the house. Everything was self service with a code for the front door. Clean basic good value for the price I paid
