The hospitality from Zoe was amazing and the fact that it was safe was lovely

The helper at the establishment had a great attitude and was very helpful, but I can't say much about this place. The place is great value for money, but for sure I won't be staying here again The attitude of the owner counts for 80% of the experience, and to say the least, she is abrupt and unpleasant

The establishment is not well marked. It's not easy to find, and the owner is not a pleasant lady and got annoyed when I was calling her to ask for directions. I had to call her cause her WhatsApp was off, and she seemed rather annoyed that I even called her in the first place. Thanks to the lady that works there, she made the stay bearable at least As in Durban, lots of monkeys everywhere and had to watch every step

The breakfast was simple, yet beautifully done. The service from Zoe and Sle was amazing! They were both so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our experience.

There was nothing we disliked about the accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely visit Sea View Manor again.

Zoe treated us with warmth and respect, she was readily available for assistance. The accomodation was situated in a quiet area with great views. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. I would gladly book the place again. Thank you Rene for having people that are great hosts.

The pool was not in good condition.i booked the place because I wanted to swim and take photos in the pool.

I would highly recommend this accommodation. Everything was super - the view was exceptional, and staff were incredibly kind and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay.

From start to finish our stay was outstanding. The Host and Sne are gems, full of kindness and friendliness, and the service was top class. The room was great and breakfast exceeded expectations. We also appreciated the easy, unrushed check-out. Thank you for making this our best stay so far. Ooh and thank you Sne for ironing my dress❤️.

The room that we booked , we thought we were booking the upper room but got the lower one and the view wasn’t what we Expected. And the host was not communicative enough , when we got to the venue we waiting longer outside the gate and when we called no one picked up. The rooms are very close to each other.

Every visit to Seaview Manor reminds me why it’s such a special place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that immediately made me feel at home. The attention to detail in every aspect is remarkable, the room was spotless, beautifully prepared, and filled with thoughtful touches that make all the difference. I was even treated to lindt chocolate on the pillow and a pitcher of cold water with lemon. René and her team really do go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels cared for, and it truly shows. Their kindness, professionalism, and passion for what they do set Seaview Manor apart from anywhere else I’ve stayed. Even the weather seemed to cooperate this time, making my stay all the more perfect! The tranquil surroundings are just magical and the bird life incredible, watching the monkeys play in the trees, and soaking in the amazing sea views make you feel as though you’ve escaped to your own private nature retreat. The internet connection was a little inconsistent at times, but that seems to be a general issue across KZN at the moment. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help by placing a Wi-Fi extender in my room, which made a big difference and was greatly appreciated.

The breakfast was delicious and well-cooked. We had different options each day. The location is also the best, in a very quiet and tranquil area. I visited Durban (from Pretoria) for about 5 days with my mum to celebrate my 31st birthday. Rene and her wonderful team made our stay such a bliss. We received a 5-star treatment every day without fail, with delicious breakfast options, and the team ensured we stayed in a clean area. They are all so friendly and welcoming, yet professional. Mum and I felt so at home. Rene even got me a beautiful gift for my birthday (I cannot thank her enough for such generosity and kindness). Seaview Manor, thanks for making our stay and my birthday one to be remembered forever. It was the best! Until my next booking, take care!

Rene and her team went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. I was warmly greeted on arrival, and Ningi kindly took my luggage to the room and made sure I was comfortably settled in. Rene even upgraded me to an upper-level suite with just a few steps, as I have some difficulty walking, this was such thoughtful hospitality! The check-in process was effortless thanks to their online registration system, which meant no delays when I arrived. The room was immaculate, with plenty of fresh towels, and the personalised embroidered linen was truly exceptional, I’ve never seen anything like it in another guesthouse. What a treat! As promised, the views were simply breathtaking. Breakfast was another highlight, you complete an online menu the night before, and when I arrived at the dining table, the staff had everything perfectly prepared. The omelette I ordered was delicious. Well done to Rene and her wonderful team for all the extra touches and thoughtful details that made my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit to La Lucia.

I was travelling for business and my schedule was accommodated with a delicious early breakfast, the friendly host was personally involved in ensuring that all aspects of my accommodation surpassed my expectations. I will certainly rebook at Seaview Manor Exquisite Bed & Breakfast.

There was no aspect of my stay that i did not enjoy or didn't like, the attention to detail was one of the best i have ever experienced at a Bed and Breakfast, all effort is made to provide individual attention and comfort, also special effort was made to meet dietary requirements and my breakfast was first class.

Rene was great with communication and accommodating my check in time. Everything was ready and very clean and super spacious. the views are amazing. Good value all around.

It is a super beautiful place with an absolutely stunning view. The area is safe, and the hotel grounds are very well protected. Everything is clean and tidy, and once you arrive, the vacation truly begins. The room is spacious, filled with beautiful natural light, and you can even see the ocean from the bed. And if all of this is not enough, there is an excellent breakfast every morning. It is incredibly enjoyable because of the view, the extremely friendly personnel, and the delicious food and drink options that you can choose from daily. We are so happy that we were able to spend these days here, and we truly hope to have the chance to come back someday. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in this area.

We checked in little bit late and received a warm welcome by Sne and treated us well without any questions but generally what you see on the beautiful photos and the wonderful reviews is exactly what we found and we are looking forward to next stay..

I felt very un welcomed if management is threatening to cancel my booking if I don't arrive at certain time I was treated lvery unprofessional with a serious argument with so cold manager parking was a nightmare knowing that it's limited parking but they still block 🚫 other areas for parking my experience was bad I checked out a day before if the remote gate was not working get locked outside what kind of guests house, swimming pool was very dirty there was no space to relax

The staff was much apologetic motr than management when I got stuck at the gate in evening they helped when you book they are not honest about there location of the rooms

The driveway was not the best.

The staff was welcoming and my daughter enjoyed the breakfast. The bed was comfortable and their bedding was clean.

The pictures are deceiving because there is no balcony as result there’s no privacy. About the parking and I am not sure if I should call it parking but it’s terrible. I suggest Rene should review the description of her place. I had to check out after two days because I didn’t feel like I was on holiday but it was like I am in the res. We didn’t feel safe because one of the guys staying there mistakenly tried to open our door at nite 🙈

The cleanliness and friendly stuff everything the malls, beaches were very easy to locate. I never thought our ironing will be done by the stuff, that exceeded my expectations

The place is beautiful, clean and so peaceful. The rooms are spacious, the bed was big and comfortable. Good hot running water and their bathroom has a tub and shower. I love the chocolate treat we got. We arrived abit late but Ningi was so kind to wait for us. Rene and Ningi were welcoming and Rene was a lovely host. Will definitely return

View is excellent, bed is super comfortable, property is very clean and well run, Rene is a lovely host with a wealth of knowledge about the area.

Driveway can be a bit tricky in the dark / rain but nothing off putting.

The place was dirty, no water pressure. The acces in and out is horrible. They dont comply to a single ohs regulation. When i complained about the facility the owner texted me at 04:00 in the morning and made it racial and not about my discomfort. I also sent her pictures as to where she replied that i was in the wrong and that there is nothing wrong. I have contacted the department of health and the department of labour, as this institution needs urgent inspection by the authorities. I am truly shocked about my experience and will advise no one to book with them.

Magnificent view

Awesome & convenient

I loved the warm hospitality from Rene, the host. She was ever ready to assist and is so pleasant to be around. The place was extremely neat and quiet, and on a lovely sunny day, the view of the sea with a cup of tea was so calming. The shower felt like I'd come out of a massage parlour, the pressure was so good, and the beds were so.comfy. I woke up every morning feeling absolutely rested, which I needed after 4 long days of my kids' cricket tournament. We strolled on the promenade which is about a 10 minute drive from this place. Breakfast is also served with very generous portions so make sure you have an appetite 😅. Loved everything about the place. Will be going back.

Room needed a few extra plugs for charges and hair dryer. There was a plug but in a very awkward position. Spa bath in the room doesn't work. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice. Milk in the room wasn't replenished but all other items were. These are very minor things, mentioned only to help improve. The place is amazing.
