Location - The hotel is bang opposite the Gregory Lake, thus give a awesome view through the day especially the sunrise. There were 2 decent veg family restaurants at walking distance to meet your lunch, dinner needs, though the hotel had a restuarant which provided Ala-carte as well. Room Facilities The room was decent sized for a family of 3. The washroom had 24*7 Hot and Cold Water Rooms were w/o AC and fans, but the weather is awesome so you need one The room has a decent size balcony to enjoy the morning view Facilities - Wifi worked well BF was provided on time as requested, they made special arrangements for us as we were vegetations. We tried Spring Hoppers which was a new local veg dish for us

Commercial - The hotel was good, the stay was decent but then I felt the charges were on the higher side. As it did not have any amenities like gym, swimming pool etc.

The room and breakfast was good.

I like the hotel location very much. Our room has lake view and it was so mesmerizing. Hot water was available 24x7 in tap and it made our stay more comfortable. Ample parking space available for 3 cars. Breakfast was served hot and fresh. Hotel is good for 1 or 2 days stays in budget.

I wanted to pay by Forex Card but the POS machine was not working. I went to ATM for withdrawal of cash and then paid the bills. Rest all good.

Staff is really attentive. In a cold day they brought heater. Helped any time. Breakfast is good, different dishes to choose. Rooms are spacious. Great view to the lake and own terrace.

The view was just breathtaking. The room had a wonderful look of the Gregory Lake which you can enjoy lying on the bed. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. One evening there was heavy rain outside and my jacket got really wet. But one of the staffs dried it. It was a very nice gesture. I will come back here surely. It was a great place.

It's located near main road and facing the lake. nice large balcony and closer to city, Hakgala botanical garden and Horton plains is one hour drive. nice dinner and they packed our breakfast, it's very tasty and clean. The staff is very helpful to us always. Thanks to restaurant staff also. Private parking.

There are some rain water sweeping through the balcony door and room carpets got wet and smells bad. Anyway they are going to replace it with some wooden floor panels and repair the leaks.

The only thing I like was the view.

This was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve experienced for the price I paid. The room had an intense moldy smell as soon as we walked in, and there were obvious mold patches on the bathroom ceiling and walls. It was unhygienic and unacceptable. We immediately informed the staff member who dropped off our bags, but no one bothered to respond or follow up — completely unprofessional. What shocked me the most was the condition of the cushions. They were clearly not washed at all — I could literally see dried drool stains and they had a disgusting smell. It was revolting and made me question the overall cleanliness of the entire place. I will be attaching photos as proof because this level of negligence should not be ignored. Definitely not worth the money and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Location was perfect. Infront of gregory lake view. Easy to access the city and others area by tuktuk. Warm welcoming behaviour from staff. Food was amazing, they will serve both english and srilankan paratha chiken dal curry which is more than enough. Highly appreciate their hospitality. And for the information of muslim community, food is halal and staff are muslim. So enjoy your stay.

Because of the nuwara eliya's cold(15• c) and rainy weather, you will get slightly smell in the room coming from the moisture. This is a new hotel inside outside comparing to other hotels i have visited in that area.

Duży i wygodny pokoju przy głównej ulicy z łatwym dojazdem. W pokoju było chłodno.i nie potrzebna była klima. Łazienka duza I molo tam skorzystać z gorącej kąpieli. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Śniadania bardzo dobre - nie było innych gości dlatego dostalismy śniadanie serwowane - standardowo.jak na sri lance - omlet, tosty i owocami a dodatkowo lankijskie curry i makaron. Przy jeziorze byly imprezy i było trochę słychać muzykę i krzyki. Do centrum ok 2km I spacer nieoswietlona droga to kiepski pomysł.

Absolutely horrible and to avoid at all costs. We had to pay for the stay before seeing the room. The walls and ceiling of the bedroom and bathroom were covered in mold. Bedsheets and the carpet in the room were humid. The whole room smelled horrible. We checked in late in the evening and did not realise immediately how mouldy the room was. We only realised when turning on the lights after our two small kids had fallen asleep. When talking to the staff, they just told us it's normal humidity and we should not complain. The manager did not offer any help and simply started that it's our fault that we paid before seeing the room. I forgot to take a picture of the bathroom but the ceiling of the shower was black from mild. Please have a look at the pictures from the bedroom

Towels, bedsheets, bed covers were not that clean. But manageable of course.

The hotel was decent, offering a comfortable stay with basic amenities. While the location and facilities were okay, the standout feature was definitely the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always went the extra mile to ensure a pleasant experience. Their hospitality made up for any minor shortcomings in the hotel's offerings.

What a great View ' the view of the lake is just Awesome ' We had breakfast everyday for our stay in our room. One of the very best breakfast I had so far ' excellent taste ' And very good staff including the general manager ' very friendly ' very professional and the best hospitality I had so far . Hotel is in a great location .

My room in the hotel was large, the bed comfortable and had a fantastic view over the lake. The hotel interior was modern, very clean and well maintained. The wifi worked well in my room and elsewhere in the hotel that I visited. Top marks to all the staff who were brilliant! Very nice people indeed who were always available and happy to help with anything you needed. I only had one meal and breakfast in the restaurant, but both were excelllent. I'd say overall, the hotel is very good value.

Only one minor issue which was no big deal to me, but the paint in the room could do with a refresh.

There wasn’t hot water in the basin in the washroom. Not a good option for a place like with low temperature like Nuwara Eliya.

Exceptional location with a view of the Gregory Lake. You can watch the sunrise and sip on your tea from the Lake Facing room's balcony. The property is just 20 m from Gregory Lake. Very clean rooms We ordered Sri Lankan breakfast on both days and were completely satisfied. Great in taste and freshly made Very helpful manager and staff. The staff made sure that both our kids got corn flakes/chocos with milk and fruits for breakfast You will not be disappointed with this property

The balcony is big enough to accommodate a small table but it only had two chairs. This was a minor irritant in an otherwise amazing stay of two nights

So let me tell you about the hotel first before I explain why I’m actually writing a review, which I usually don’t. It’s completely clean, the staff is very friendly and the view you’ve got from the balcony is stunning! Definitely a no brainer I will book this hotel again next time I visit this lovely city. And here’s what convinced me the most: We were planning our trip but didn’t know how to proceed from Nuwara Eliya so we asked the receptionist (I’m so sorry I don’t know his name :( !) One hour later he organised three trip options with personal driver/ train and activities. After we had chosen which one it’d be we had to make small adjustments and again half an hour later after calling several people he had our upcoming 5 days fully planned! And on top of that for the cheapest price possible! Thank you so much, hope to be there again!

The room was very damp and cold, as it is in all hotels in that area, so be sure to bring a hoodie. An additional blanket would be great, or at least a blanket cover that closes properly.

there were houseflies, mosquitos in the room, toiletries were provided upon request and not all of them were given. they messaged us that they had prepared our room but it was not up to the mark. washroom was very cramped and very less space to use it. breakfast was average. I have complained about all issues but they haven't given us any discount rather they have said that we have to pay in full as you have come through booking com

Restaurant was closed, bar was closed for renovations as per the manager. But when we try to book, in booking website it showed that restaurant services, room services and bar facilities were available. We booked the room expecting to use restaurant and room service.

They charged me a higher than market rate of 375 Rupees per USD, while actual rate was 365 Rs at the time of transaction. Nowhere else in over 8 hotels that we stayed in Sri lanka, has anyone charged us a higher than market rate for USD. So this hotel was an exception.

Room was perfect spacy, clean and with a balcony open to the Gregory lake. The view is fantastic and brings cool winds from mountain. Panoramic view, lake surrounded by misty mountain. Manager and all in the reception desk helped us attending our needs.

As of date, this is a relatively new hotel with adequate amendities. Rooms were well maintained - good comfy bed; clean bathroom; television, air conditioner and lights were working fine. Staff was polite and provided great service - they even prepared our breakfast in packed boxes on the day we set off at 5am. The hotel is located conveniently by the main road; there is a good Indian restaurant right next to it (worth a visit even though it is a bit pricey).

This hotel has comfortable beds and an ok breakfast but that’s about all it’s got going for it. There are many dodgy stairs to get to reception then a weird ramp for the next level, then even more dodgier stairs from there. Our room was expensive and had a charming view over the neighbours washing and not the lake. We had to ask for a mini bar and soap. Staff are trying hard but just don’t cut it. It’s slso a Muslim run hotel so no alcohol served.

Nice good new property right on the lake. Rooms are fresh and everything is new. There is no lift. Travellers be wary of many mosquitoes in the room balcony but room remains insulated if you don't open the balcony door. It is due to the weather and presence lake. Also in the restaurant, there are number of flies which Hotel staff could not take care of. Besides this hotel excelled in all other departments.

the only positive thing to say: the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. everything else was just very bad and we were deceived, it was not at all how we expected. it's a new (or renovated?) "hotel" (actually it's more like a guesthouse). but it isn't in a very good condition. when I took my shower, the installation of the shower fell on me! also there are cables in the shower cabine?! the bathroom had an horrible smell that didn't go away. There is a lot of humidity in the hotel room. breakfast is very poor, really not food quality and very little choice. The location isn't very interesting as well. It really isn't a 3* and definitely not worth the price.

This was a newly finished hotel but clearly not ready for paying guests. We had to ask three times for towels for the room, and when they did eventually come there was only one set and not two sets so we had to ask again for another set of towels. After a full day out touring the area we were upset to find that the room had not been made up or cleaned and also there was a bad drain smell. Although they apologised for not making up the room we felt they were very inexperienced in the hotel business and didn't know what was expected. As the awful smell could not be sorted they did provide an alternative room and helped us move our things. The staff seemed very young and had little knowledge of the surrounding area or indeed how much a tuk tuk should cost to get into the centre of the town. I am sure in time it will improve but for the time being I wouldn't recommend it. (Don't forget to bring a warm jumper and trousers as being so high up it does get cold especially in the evenings.)

We are proud to be the first Vietnamese couple who stay 2 nights in this hotel. :) It was very new hotel, all the facilities were good. We had a warm welcome by friendly staff. Checking-in is quick & the room was excellent. It is spacious & all new equipments. We had a lake-view room & it is very beautiful seeing the lake with lot of fog like in the heaven. Breakfast & dinner were nice. I loved the ice-cream with fruit & nut for dessert on the 1st evening. Fried rice was beautiful. The receptionist always take care of us & very informative. They answered all the questions we asked, very helpful. In conclusion, this hotel is extremely excellent. Highly recommended for all off my friends & anybody who want to stay in Nuwara Eliya. This is your best choice.
