Our stay at Dar Attajmil was wonderful! Aziz and Said were so lovely and kind and always willing to help, alongside Fatima’s delicious breakfast spread that truly made our trip!! We felt very safe all the time, and the property was always spotless and smelt lovely. It is really conveniently placed to access taxis but also walking distance from the main square. We 10/10 recommend and cannot wait to be back!

It’s a really nice authentic riad. Beautiful design. Breakfast was tasty and served on the roof top. It was calm, quiet, staff was very friendly and polite. Beds were comfortable.

The room we initially booked didn’t have the door on the bathroom, only the curtain. It was also extremely small. When we complained about the lack of door, we were told that we can only get the room with the door if we pay additionally. We did that in the end, but this is ridiculous, because the bathroom door is the basic that should be there by default.

Everyone at Dar Attajmil was super helpful and kind, the chef is also fantastic the food we had there was some of the best! And a great location

Dar Attajmil made our first visit to Morocco absolutely memorable. The staff went above and beyond, the hospitality was so warm. The space was stunning- so well designed. The food was incredible. The rooftop was magic. The rooms are so comfortable and beautiful, down to the yummy shampoo and soap.

Imposible contestar, me gustó todo

During our week at Dar Attamilj it felt like a second home to us and the staff as an extended family. We loved the premises and the warm hospitality we received. When we come back to Marrakech we will definitely want to stay at Dar Attamilj again.

A very minor one, was that hot water reduced if showering and someone used hot water in the basin in the bathroom at the same time. But that is the only negative thing we experienced.

Η τοποθεσία ηταν εξαιρετικη! Ενιωθες πολυ ασφαλης. Ηταν πολυ κοντα στην πλατεια και ταυτοχρονα στα 2 λεπτα εβγαινες στον κεντρικο δρομο που μπορουσες να παρεις ταξι! Απεναντι εχει ενα rooftop που επισης σε κανει να νιωθεις ασφαλεια καθως το στενο ειναι φωτισμενο το βραδυ. Μολις φτασαμε μας υποδεχτηκαν πολυ εγκαρδια και φιλοξενα. Νιωσαμε αμεσως την ηρεμια εντος σε σχεση με το θορυβο εξω απο το riad. Ειχε παραδοσιακη διακοσμηση με ζεστα χρωματα και εντυπωσιακες χρυσες λεπτομερειες στο δωματιο. Την επομενη μερα φευγαμε ξημερωματα και ενω ο σεφ για το πρωινο ερχοταν την ωρα που θα φευγαμε μας ετοιμασαν ζεστο κεικ για το δρομο και κατι να πιουμε ενω μας οδηγησαν μεχρι τον κεντρικο δρομο να μη χαθουμε. Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα. Ολα αριστα! Και το κρεβατι πολυ αναπαυτικο.

La ubicación es muy buena, dentro de la Medina pero no en todo el bullicio, aunque muy cerca de todo lo reseñable. La terraza es fabulosa y el personal un auténtico placer, que están pendientes de ti para cualquier cosa que necesites. El espacio es increíble cuidado al detalle

Por poner alguna pega, tal vez la habitación es algo estrecha y puedo agobiar algo, lógicamente sabemos que estamos en un Riad y que las dimensiones son las que son, aún así nos gustó mucho

The staff were so friendly! Our breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The location is excellent — right in the medina, yet still quiet for sleeping. Beautiful rooms and interior.

The noise. There is a bar right next to the hotel that had loud music until 1 ou 2 am and then at 4 am there was a man outside of the hotel making a lot of noise and hitting the hotel door for a long time and we could hear everything. The room doors are thin. I recommend taking ear plugs in order to be able to rest well at night. Other than that everything was fine

Very centrally located. Ideal for exploring the Medina. Easy access to the road (~3 min walk), so no need to carry bags for long. Small but comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Beautiful terrace on the roof where breakfast is served.

The water was slow to drain in the shower. It would be nice if there was an iron (per room or a communal one).

Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue excepcional. El lugar es precioso, la habitación acogedora y el desayuno en la azotea fue la mejor manera de empezar el día. Lo mejor del hotel es su servicio: tanto Aziz como Osama fueron increíblemente amables, educados y serviciales con nosotros, incluso nos guiaron a restaurantes y taxis cercanos. Además, el hotel está dentro de la medina, pero junto a una de sus puertas principales, lo que facilita enormemente el transporte. Este lugar, y especialmente su personal, hicieron que nuestra experiencia en Marrakech fuera inolvidable.

The staff were so friendly are the reason that the visit was so special. The calm and serenity inside were amazing after stepping off the streets, and the rooftop with the view over the Atlas mountains was fantastic. We loved the cooking class, and the breakfast was possibly the best I've had anywhere in the world!

Das Riad liegt zentral in der Medina und ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Wir waren vor 8 Jahren schon einmal hier und wiederum sehr zufrieden. Frühstück und Abdndessen waren hervorragend und das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Dar Attajmil was a lovely comfortable place to stay. My room wasn’t large, but the bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was warm and cozy. The location was extremely convenient for going where I wanted to visit. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful in terms of recommendations for places to eat and visit. Breakfasts were large and filling. All in all I found it a lovely place to stay.

The Riad was beautiful. It was so warm and cosy,with beautiful decor.The rooms are thoughtfully laid out with high attention to detail. Most of all, the hospitality was excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. They also recommended shops and restaurants when we asked their advice. Breakfast was lovely and the tagline that we had for dinner was the best one I had. Thank you for having us!

Lo staff è stato speciale, assolutamente perfetto, tutti loro sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili con noi rendendo il nostro soggiorno speciale. Il riad è molto curato e pulito, un piccolo paradiso al centro della Medina. La cucina è stata fantastica e ci ha fatto assaporare la vera cucina marocchina, sia a cena che a colazione, il tutto ad un prezzo davvero ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

Ho viaggiato con mia figlia e ho soggiornato presso la struttura una sola notte. Ho chiesto il check in anticipato alle 9,00 di mattina e senza costi mi è stato concesso. Chi ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatto subito accomodare per offrirci un ottimo the alla menta. Camera pulita e accogliente. E disponibilità ad ogni richiesta.

La cena presso la struttura, se pur di ottima qualità, non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative in relazione al costo. Il pagamento del soggiorno in contanti.

Cannot fault this stay one bit. The riad was beautiful and in the perfect location! Airport transfer was great and a must. The staff are the best I have ever come across, collecting and dropping us to and from taxis (on foot) as they cannot come into the Medina, ensuring we had everything we needed and asking how our day was every night! Aziz sat down with us the first morning after breakfast and went through a map of the Medina, this really made our trip the best it could have been! He even gave us his phone number incase we ever needed help. Our safety was a top priority and we felt safe the entire time. Another staff member showed us to a specific shop we wanted to see as-well. The room was comfortable and the amenities amazing. Breakfast and dinner were fresh and authentic. We left early on our last day around 7:15 and they still provided a small breakfast for us! Truly a 100% recommendation and I would come back here every time if I was to return!

A breath of fresh air in the middle of the Medina. A centric, safe and beautiful place to retire, cool down and rest up. A delicious fresh breakfast cooked from scratch. A member of staff greeting you on your way in and out. Thank you Lukrezia and the team.

The booking.com rate and the rate I got charged in my card didn't match. Got charged more. However, Lukrezia was quick to reply, explain and make amends.

Went on a cookery course which was excellent. Had chance to look around and the place was really nice. Staff were very friendly and there is a superb roof terrace where we ate the food we had cooked on the course. Chef was brilliant and very funny made it a very enjoyable experience.

Fabulous service especially the airport pickup and helping us with the bags. The place can be a bit hard to find so having the arranged airport shuttle and meet and greet really helped! Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and lotion. Beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was nice and substantial. Location is great, just a few minutes walk to jemaa el fnaa.

Rooms are a bit small and the shower drainage is rather slow but everything else more than makes up for it.

The hotel is gorgeous (terrace, interior patio) and the rooms are beautifully decorated with every detail, down to the taps in the bathrooms, curtains, blankets, and furnishings , all brilliantly curated. That said, it’s the warmth and kindness and genuine friendliness of the staff, their help with every detail, from tea to taxis to restaurant reservations, that takes the cake, including Azia and Fatima and Ibrahim but not limited to them as every member of staff was stellar. Thank you all for a delicious experience and warm welcome during our stay.

Wow! It is hard to find enough superlatives. We stayed here on two occasions during a recent trip to Morocco. Not only is it comfortable and beautifully stylish, the staff are extraordinarily friendly, charming and helpful. And the food—- truly stellar. The breakfasts were generous, varied and delicious. None of the annoying communal or cafeteria style presentations. We had dinner there twice and lunch once. Every meal was amazing. In fact, it was simply the best food we had on our trip—- and we ate at several of the most highly rated restaurants. We knew we did not want to stay at a sterile resort type hotel out of town—- we wanted to stay in the Medina. Yet, Dar Attajmil was the perfect oasis of calm in the midst of the bustle and hum of the Medina. Pretty darn close to perfect!

This impeccably run and aesthetically stunning Riad was hands down, the highlight of our trip to Morocco. The genuinely caring, helpful and attentive staff, as well as the gorgeous design details throughout the Riad, surpassed my admittedly lofty standards. Every detail is considered down to fluffy fresh towels, crisp linens and intoxicatingly scented natural soap products. The whole place is absolutely SPOTLESS, making it an ideal respite from touring the hot and bustling Medina. And the food!! The meals here surpassed any we had during the two week stay in multiple cities, including an indulgent meal at the Royal Mansour which was honestly pale in comparison to the intensely fresh and flavorful meals at Dar Attajmil. You can actually taste the joy and levity of the chef in her classic Moroccan creations. The extensive breakfast offering sets you up for a whole day of touring and the optional dinners at the Riad, simply divine and in the most comfortable and relaxed setting. The cooking class was not only a great learning experience, but one of the more enjoyable memories of the trip. I have worked in service and kitchens in the past and the hygiene standards in this kitchen are unsurpassed, an important factor for sensitive American stomachs. The food sensitivities of our party were generously accommodated without question or reminder. The proprietor and her incredible staff have simply perfected the art of hospitality. I would travel all the back to Morocco just to stay at Dar Attajmil, which left our whole party feeling like we were in our second home. 10 out of 5 stars!!
