Maybe state that there are no toiletries available nor hand towels. There is no safe in the room nor in the office. There is a fridge in the room, but no microwave on the property. Twice I went to the office. And the guy was outside somewhere, nowhere to be found. He finally showed up both times. The office Staff was not happy to be there. Very gloomy with no smiles, and when you asked questions, it was like I was bothering them. They did help me, but I could tell they did not want to deal with customers. Cleaning staff were excellent and cheerful.

Despicable how they dare to ask this price for these rooms in low season. It’s not a hotel, it’s storage for the next door construction site, materials being dragged down the garden constantly. Do not expect a minute of quiet. Room feels like a prison cell, all white and grey, the only color is 2 moldy pillows. Ancient tv, only Thai. Plastic bathtub. Paint peeling off the ceiling and walls. No bedside table. Water cooker but no cups or coffee or tea. For the extortionate price of 1100 baht. Insane. I am now in a far cheaper and far better hotel just a few minutes down the road.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2025It’s not the place it says on Apple Maps, makes it tricky to be picked up at the hotel for any trips etc, also booked 1 night initially and then went to the desk to ask for 2 more nights as we wanted to stay in the area but not pack everything up, they made us pay on card which incurs a higher fee and was a waste of my time

Reviewed May 23, 2025Loud area. And when I came home in the evening (9pm) there were lots of insects in the room and on the bed. Some alive, some dead. No reception at all. Check in at at shop nearby. I asked for early checkout at 7am. But nobody was there next morning. I was waiting for 40 minutes! I had to wait for my deposit until the afternoon to come back to the "hotel". And then they were lying at me. Never again!

The bathroom is old and smells bad, there is visible mould. The room in general needs updating but that said it was one of the cheapest we could find in Ao Nang & I think the price reflects the accommodation standard. Ao Nang was one of the most expensive places we visited in Thailand and sadly iRest was the lowest standard of everywhere we stayed but it was fine for one night.

The room was spacious but the toilet was dirty. The drawer inside is filthy. I have informed the reception that the water from the bathtub doesn't drain properly. In my 3 night stay nothing was done. The bathroom is not wiped properly when I check it. And even the WC wasn't flush.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2025街中にあり、海まで1分、近くにセブンイレブンもあり、非常に便利で良い場所にあります。部屋が２階だったので、荷物も上げ下ろしが大変でした。夜中まで低重音の音楽がなって居ましたが、眠れない程ではありませんでした。レセプションが分かりにくかったですが、スタッフの方が感じ良く親切で、チェックインは14時前のの12時頃してくれました。シャワー中、急に水が出なくなったり、ハンドソープが無かったり、タオルはバスタオルのみで、アメニティ系は持参した方が良いです。ロケーションは良いので、お手軽に泊まれるホテルです。

Reviewed Feb 4, 2025The location is amazing! It’s located by the main street with all shops, bars, restaurants around. You cross the street and there is the beach.
The dormitory of mixed 8 people is in reality a 16 mixed dormitory as it’s one big room separated by a curtain. Also, the bar next door plays loud music every day until late. If you are out all night, is fine, but if you need to rest, you will need a pair of earplugs.

There is a beach bar right next to the property so loud music till 1:30-2am like REALY annoying loud music. I understand because it’s right next to the beach , it’s expected for a beach bar to be there but I wish the hostel could’ve at least provided with cheap earplugs?

Reviewed Jan 9, 2025The property says seafront and they mean it. It is less than a minute to bamboo beach bar, where there is around 10 steps down to the sea. View is unreal. The beach bar has an infinity pool that you’re allowed to use too. The hostel is clean, friendly, has a lift which I found very useful. Luggage storage and laundry options. I originally booked for a night but extended and stayed for three!
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like the property the only downside was all group activities involved alcohol - pub crawl, drunk bingo etc. More sober group activities would be great - a hostel I stayed at in Bangkok did a group dinner every evening and that was great -

The receptionist wasn't very friendly or helpful. There's a TECHNO bar In front of the room. The bathroom was a bit gross, water doesn't stay on for long and doesn't drain well. I found multiple other people's hairs around. Couldn't sleep because of the techno bar (until 1.30am) and the noise from staff and children in the morning. There is NO SAFE as mentioned in facilities My pillowcase was ripped.
