Urban Stripes Athens

This modern, chic hotel has a great vibe and a clean look and feel. The outside balcony (with partial acropolis view!) for breakfast was lovely and the kitchenette was nice too. My only suggestion is to change the nightstand lights which were a tad bright for bedtime. A minor fix for an otherwise delightful facility. Appreciated getting to store luggage too. Oh and the cookies at reception were delicious and so thoughtful!

The location is a bit quiet, but there are many nice cafes and restaurants at walking distance.

La camera è molto bella e super spaziosa, arredata con stile e moderna. Dotata di una piccola cucina con lavandino. Il letto comodo e la grande finestra a tutta parete è molto scenica

Avrei dato più spazio al bagno, che risulta molto piccolo, con il lavandino strettissimo e minuscolo, ed il tutto non arredato con lo stile della camera. Ma questo è solo un dettaglio!

Best view ever,... Good AC control, best position of the Hotel, surrounding Bars, Tavern, Bakery's, Cafe. Very near. Very friendly if possible they make late check out.

The location was great. Centrally located with lots of restaurants and supermarket close by. Walkable distance to the Acropolis. Marina was our host. She was helpful and prompt responding to any questions I have.

The bed is too soft for me and the shower curtain didn’t do much to keep the water inside.

El app es increíble….excelente ubicación, el penthouse es súper completo, comunas vistas a la acrópolis increíbles, jacuzzi impecable al exterior, todo de excelencia… cuando regrese a Atenas sin dudas volveremos

Location is great, we always stay in Koukaki. We arrived early but the concierge showed up and was very helpful, let us leave our luggage as we went off to do things in the city. We slept well and enjoyed that fact that there were no steps to get in and out of the lift/building as we were very laden with very heavy suitcases.

I didn't opt for the breakfast. This property is in a fantastic location. 5-7 min walk to Acropolis and the main promenade. Tons of cafes and grocery stores around and yet a lived in neighbourhood feel - not touristy. Ilias was really wonderful and helpful. Check in was easy and smooth. The room has plenty of light; a little cute balcony. The ergonomics and design are really cool - the way the space is utilized. Lovely tea coffee (I was specially happy with sencha green tea as most places dont have green tea) and a little fridge. The bed is fantastic and large. The bathroom is very spacious. This is a STUDIO. Booking.com describe a living room misleading me into thinking it was a 1 bedroom apartment. But that is because of Booking not Urban Stripes. I would come here again.

The extra bed that I asked for because I was with a friend ... not comfortable at all. But if you are alone or a couple this is fab as the main bed and mattress and pilows and comforter are all great.

Приятный небольшой отель на тихой улочке, расположен в пешей доступности от самых важных объектов, рядом мини-маркет и аптека. Просторные номера без соседей по этажу, шумоизоляция, завтрак в номере, хорошая постель и подушки. Приветливый персонал. Администратор Марина помогла на со всеми вопросами максимально оперативно.

Нормальная стоянка далеко, а на самой улице если повезет. Завтраки средние.

We loved every single thing about this room/apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Just minutes from Plaka neighborhood and meeting point for Acropolis tour. Easy check in. Well stocked kitchen. All around excellent experience.

Perfectly located within walking distance of the Acropolis but also not in a super touristy area. Surrounded by local cafe, shops and restaurants we really enjoyed visiting the local area.

Beautiful, spacious bright apartment in a lovely part of Athens. Not far from a metro stop. Nice cafes, restaurants and grocery supplies all in the immediate vicinity. This would be an especislly nice choice for first-timers to the city. Ilias was an excellent communicator, incredibly helpful, and contactable at any hour: impossible to be any more hospitable. I will likely book again on my next trip to Greece

Location was perfect, price, balcony, the breakfast was amazing, great storage for clothes, and great shower.

No broom or dustpan to keep the floor clean.

Everything. The welcome on arrival and booking a taxi to the airport the next day occurred smoothly. The view of the Parthenon from our apartment during the day and extra special at night - well lit up, a must if you've never visited Athens. Close to restaurants, shops, cafes and all modes of transport whether it's public or if you prefer renting a car.

I wish we could have stayed more :) !!! Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like about this apartment.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft Mitten in Athen. Es war alles sehr gut eingerichtet und super sauber. Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert und ging schnell. Die Lage ist super, nicht mal 10 Minuten zu fuß zu Akropolis. Parken ist eine kleine Herausforderung, es dauert etwas bis man einen freien Platz gefunden hat.

Excellent location near the Acropolis. The person at reception was very kind, and getting the key was easy. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, and everything I needed was there. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. It’s also conveniently located near a metro station, about a 6-minute walk away.

There was large amount of space in the apartment and 2 toilets which was convenient. The apartment was nice and bright and the bed was super comfortable.

Nothing - just minor. The cupboards would have been better with just handles on them to open and close them. Stairs would benefit from having handrails for safely.

Déjà par mail, elle a répondu chaleureusement et a trouvé des solutions pour nos questions. Et lorsque nous l’avons rencontré, elle a été juste parfaite. Merci à elle pour sa gentillesse

Ήταν όλα τέλεια, το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Cazarea este intr-o zona foarte linistita, cu multe cafenele si locuri de servit micul dejun. Este foarte aproape de Acropole (de altfel se poate si vedea totul pe geam - superb - mai ales seara). Am fost asteptati la receptie de o doamna care ne-a predat cheile.

Singurul lucru care este de mentionat este legat de comunicarea cu proprietatea. Pe booking au raspuns foarte greu si nu au fost de acord sa anulam sau macar sa reprogramam, chiar daca in perioada in care am fost noi cazati a fost o avertizare de inundatii in toata zona Atenei. Recunosc ca a fost vremea neasteptat de frumoasa in primele zilei si doar in ultima (cea de plecare) am avut putin de suferit din cauza inundatiilor pentru ca a plouat efectiv toata noaptea precedanta...

Appartement magnifique. Petit déjeuner copieux servi dans l´appartement. Très proche de l´acropole : on voit le parthenon depuis la chambre.

The place has great location. And the view was also as advertised. It was quiet.

There were no hangers for clothes. The shower cabin and the sink in the bathroom are a little bit small.

La posizione è per me la migliore, ai piedi dell’Acropoli. L’appartamento è nuovo e creato con classe, dotato di tutti i comfort che servono per trascorrere più giorni. Consigliatissimo!!!

Perfect location, very nice stuff, modern and clean apartment

Mooi appartement met een fantastisch uitzicht op de Parthenon/ Akropolis.

Het matras op het bed heeft echt zijn beste tijd gehad. (Kuil). Erg zonde want het appartement heeft een luxe uitstraling, dan zo een bed/ matras is echt een teleurstelling. Verder moet je rekening houden met het warm water dat niet altijd aanwezig is, knop indrukken en dan 30 minuutjes wachten. Opzich geen probleem maar het werkt dus niet zoals in een hotel. We hebben een melding gemaakt van het matras en Marina (die erg haar best heeft gedaan om het naar onze zin te maken) heeft een melding gemaakt richting management.

Το προτιμάμε σταθερά όλα τα χρόνια και ποτέ δε μας απογοητεύει. Στα επιπλέον θετικά είναι η εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, οι πολλές επιλογές για φαγητό, brunch αλλά και η ευκολία super market κλπ. Ειναι η καλύτερη επιλογή για διαμονή στην Αθήνα.

Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται σε κεντρική τοποθεσία, διαθέτει καλαίσθητη διακόσμηση και ο χώρος είναι λειτουργικά οργανωμένος, πάρα πολύ καθαρό και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό!

Ο θόρυβος από τα διερχόμενα οχήματα και τους ανθρώπους γίνεται αντιληπτός μέσα στο δωμάτιο με αποτέλεσμα να προκαλεί δυσκολία στη χαλάρωση και τον ύπνο.

- Location, tops! Super convenient just 10mins to the Acropolis, and all the wonderful street shops, cafes, and restaurants. Location easily 9/10 if not perfect 10. - Room good size, and the Customer Service lady Marina was fantastic! So are the friendly housekeeping people such as Stella.

- Only few pointers for improvement : a) two layer curtains provided should have the opaque curtain on the inside, not outside.. they got it the other way round. - No oven in the room which is a shame as I couldn’t heat up my food for all takeaways.. always go to waste for much leftovers from restaurants since I travel alone. -Bed is too soft and sunken.. caused me much backache after 3 days sleep.. I am not heavy just a little over 70kg. The sunken bed caused a bad ache after a few days' sleep - No gym facility. - All else are good. Overall apartment rating I would give 8.5/10.

Location was pleasant with easy access to archeological sites by foot. A 20 minute walk around the area is all you need to keep yourself entertained.

Facilities don’t offer parking although there’s a parking spot in front of the entrance that you can use temporarily to drop off your belongings, I was lucky someone was leaving right in front once I finished unloading 😆

Great stay - large-sized rooms. Check-in and check-out was easy, friendly, and so simple. Great views of the Acropolis, good cafes and location.
