Exceptional Hospitality and Another Memorable Stay My wife Beamy and I recently returned to one of our favourite properties, Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa, and once again, we were reminded of why we continue to come back. From the moment we arrived, the level of genuine hospitality and attention to detail was exceptional. A special mention must go to Anko Timmer, Director of Food & Beverage, who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. His warm, personal approach and commitment to creating a memorable experience truly stood out. The culinary experience was, as always, outstanding. Khun Johnnie and Khun Kookik were exceptional hosts, showing us the warm and attentive service that has become such a hallmark of this wonderful property. A particular highlight was the exquisite pasta prepared especially for us by Marco, the Executive Chef. It was an exceptional dish—beautifully prepared, full of flavour and a wonderful example of the care and passion that goes into the food here. What makes Renaissance Pattaya particularly special is not simply the beautiful resort or the excellent food, but the people. The team consistently makes us feel genuinely welcomed and valued, creating the kind of experience that keeps guests returning. Another outstanding stay and another wonderful memory. Our sincere thanks to Anko, Marco, Khun Johnnie, Khun Kookik and the entire team for making our visit so special. We will, without a doubt, be back.

My stay at the Renaissance Pattaya Resort was amazing! I took advantage of several of the resort’s amenities, including the spa, cooking class, and pools, and each experience exceeded my expectations. We started the week with massages and body scrubs that left our skin baby smooth. The spa was clean, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class at 609 Kitchen. Chef Pui, Chef Aek, and Kookkik, guided us through preparing a delicious three-course meal. They were knowledgeable, patient, and made the experience both fun and memorable. I can’t wait to recreate the dishes when I get home! A special thank you to Cocoa and Bue for their warm, attentive service at the Deli every day. Their hospitality made each visit enjoyable, and I highly recommend trying the Tandoori pizza. It was delicious! Overall, I highly recommend the Renaissance Pattaya Resort. From the moment you are greeted by the bell staff people to the welcoming of the front desk agents you are treated as if you are the only people in the hotel. The open floor plan of the reception area leads your eyes onto the distant shimmering Indian Ocean. The magnificent swimming pools sparkle. There is an amazing Children's pool with slides and tubes for nonstop fun and adventure. Then there is a family pool and distally located an adults only infinity pool which has the most spectacular view of the Indian Ocean. There are always pool chaises. The water temperature and the water Ph is posted daily and changed through out the day as monitored. The pools are thus safe and sparkling always. Perfectly filtered safe and healthy. There are never leafs or any debris in the pools or on the pool decks. The pool staff starts at 6am to make them always spotless and the water shimmers. The kids pool is amazing with a wonderland of minimal slides and short tubes. There are always fun events and happening for children. If the pools do not keep the children excited there is the KIDS club. Children line up in the am for day events that are made for different ages.There is a daily chaulk board with listed events. Parents can entrust their children daily to a supervised play and fun things to do in an enclosed supervised controlled designated suite for a period of supervised fun. The surrounding grounds are meticulously maintained. The Gardening/grounds staff working from dawn to dusk keep the trees,bushes and lawns neat and free of bugs and mosquitoes. The food standards are maintained . I feel as if I am at the Ritz Carlton Hotels that I commonly stay at.. The amazing breakfasts are either cooked to your desire,i.e. omelets, eggs Benedict,or numerous choices from the never ending buffet .The Lunch and Dinners of pizza, salmon,lamb chops, steak and regional dishes are an epicurean's delight. The weekly over the top buffet is unparalleled. From lobster, shrimp, soft shell crab, grouper, steak, rack of lamb,sushi and other mouth watering foods are abundantly available.The desserts including ice cream made on the spot are out of this world. These are personally made by the pastry chef Fred. Every food is meticulously made, presented and served by specialized chefs and amazing servers. . The entire Renaissance staff , from management to supporting personnel housekeeper and grounds crew, life guards and the security personnel, all are amazing.They are all over the top. From the Ritz-like greeting to the Rite goodbye from all available staff at check out. The ever present Thai smile is everywhere. The Marriott Renaissance at Jomtien is the hotel of choice for my wife and I when in Thailand. It is safe, quiet and luxurious. Even the mattresses at times were the same as the Ritz. My wife and I were the first signed in guests upon opening of the hotel and keep returning for the amazing hospitality of the staff, tranquil grounds magnificent pools and view of the Indian Ocean which is on full display from almost all the room, restaurants and immaculate grounds. Thank you to the team of owner and Mr. Marriott for an unparalleled resort stay. The staff on this hotel were all very nice. The room was also good.

The restaurants were not good enough for a five star hotel. The nicest view were from the restaurant by the sea but they had a very limited meny which were more expensive than good. The breakfast were rather big but only half good. It felt like they had a western manager there and the food was not focused on any part of the sections just half focused. They should lay down more effort to make the food tasty and fresh.

Located on the beach this hotel is so attractive, designef with so much style and character. I experienced the "WOW" the moment I arrived at the impressive reception area. Two infinity pools, gardens, gym, restaurant, bar and beautifully appointed bedrooms each with a sea view. Staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. There are no attractions within walking distance except for s long expanse of pristine, golden sand and the azure water I of the Gulf of Siam. A truly exceptional holiday experience - just like last time.

Lovely hotel with amazing sea views. We took a pool access room which provided great access directly to the pool bar. Breakfast was amazing variety with excellent service. Johnny from Navigator team went out of way to make us feel really comfortable and took care of our request. As a Lifetime Gold Member these are the perks....

I had a great short stay at the Renaissance. The Check Inn was one of the best that have ever had! Khun Praw made me feel very welcome even though I was checking in early. The Room was perfect and the view was very nice. Only the Mattrace seemed to be a bit dated. Thanks also to Fongbeer at the R-Bar. The Breakfast was very good and had everything I need and more. Also, I took advantage of the Shuttle Bus to Pattaya which goes twice per day at 12:00 and 16:00 with a final stop at Terminal21. For the ride back you need to take a Taxi or Grab for about 200-300 Baht.

During this holiday, I visited and tried Pebble Restaurant for the first time and was impressed with the sunset view. The staff provided excellent service; I'd like to mention Khun Nok Manager Khun Ball, Khun Jane, And the man at the cocktail bar Khun J (Not sure for his name). The mocktails were delicious, and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Facilities overall are still in good shape. Been here quite a few times. Breakfast is not as great as it was but still ok. Rooms are clean. Gym was great. Kept coming back as I know what to expect.

We came back to Renaissance Pattaya again, and it truly feels like a home away from home. What keeps bringing us back is not only the beautiful atmosphere, but also the exceptional care from the staff. Our great experience started even before arrival. I reached out via chat to request changing from a King bed to a double bed, and Khun Joom from the admin team or front team was incredibly helpful. She responded quickly and prepared everything beyond our expectations. My little nephew absolutely loved the connecting room and had so much fun running around. Upon arrival, the Front team warmly welcomed us right from the luggage drop-off, even though I didn’t catch their names. The welcome drink with pandan aroma was refreshing and a lovely touch. During check-in, special thanks to Jimmy for the smooth and efficient process. He was very friendly, professional, and clearly well-trained, paying great attention to detail. When we entered the room, we were delighted by the welcome set with fruits and snacks—especially the look choup, which was amazing. Thank you to Anko Timmer for the thoughtful greeting card, and to the entire team for taking such good care of us. We then headed straight to the pool. While my nephew enjoyed the water, we relaxed at the pool bar. K' Night made fantastic cocktails and was very friendly and fun to chat with. Huge thanks to Night, Win, and Poon for their warm hospitality and for being so kind to our nephew and family. This stay deserves a 10/10. Every moment was filled with warmth and care. Thank you to all the staff for making this place truly feel like our second home.

Renaissance located at South Pattaya is a great hotel with magnificent staff. Experienced first hand and excellent attention from Gm Anna, F&B Mgr Anko as well as Jonnie (F&B) who are inspiring.

We enjoyed a wonderful 10 days at Renaissance Hotel. The place is amazing and the staff so friendly and helpful particularly Johnnie and Baiyok who both went out of their way to make our stay so wonderful.

Nice family resort. Rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Ours had a balcony overlooking the pool. The service staff were friendly and attentive, with a special mention to Johnnie, who looked after our family at the breakfast buffet each morning and really went above and beyond to take care of us.

I just checked into Renaissance Pattaya for the fourth time, and it has again impressed me with its cordial and professional staff and beautiful hotel and location. Kaew and Johnnie were especially memorable as being very helpful and friendly!

This was our third visit, and the experience keeps getting better each time. The team at 609 Kitchen — Khun Johnnie, James, Natto, Ploy, and Nueay — treated us like royalty. We also had an amazing time at The Pool Bar, where Khun Tekkie, Night, Big, Poon and Win crafted wonderful drinks and kept us entertained throughout our stay ❤️ And last but not least, The Pebbles — with Khun Tak, Nok, and Nak — gave us an exceptional steak dinner experience not just once, but twice. PS. Khun Praw and Aum also made our check-in experience exceptional!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside hotel and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. A special mention goes to the bartender, Takkie, who made us feel at home. He was friendly, attentive, and, together with his team, created a great vibe, which made it fun for all the guests sitting around the pool area. Paddle boarding was another highlight of our stay. Game, who was in charge of the Kids Club, was very helpful. He gave us detailed recommendations and arranged time slots for us so we didn’t have to stress over things. We can see his dedication and passion for his job, and were impressed with all the life-size Minecraft figures he made to make the children feel happy and entertained. His aqua aerobics routine was a lot of fun for guests to follow, or at least try to. He managed to bring lots of smiles to everyone’s faces. The food at the hotel was excellent — delicious, well-prepared, and very diversified, with something to please everyone in the family.

Came this time for 5 nights during new years and had an incredible time. Mr Johnnie did his best to make our stay perfect and we can’t thank him enough for all that he did for us during this stay. Will definitely come back again this year.

Enjoyed our four days at the resort. All facilities and service first class, bonus being situated by a sandy beach with warm waters. Great service by staff who happy to engage guests, and was really looked after by Johnny whether in the restaurant or floatup bar. Recommended.

Johnnie, the hotel navigator, and the rest of the hotel team has made our stay wonderful. It’s our 2nd time here for Christmas and New Year, and we would be coming back again definitely. Good sized hotel with lots of ways to relax and unwind. We feel very well looked after as Johnnie always remember what we like. He always greet us with a smile and a small chat at breakfast to ask if we need anything. And he’s always there at happy hour pool bar. Beautiful views of the sea and sunset from the property. We have two boys aged 5 and 9, and they love making friends and do activities in kids club. Great location for a well balanced holiday. Some days we go to central Pattaya for the mall and movie. Some days we sit at beach huts restaurants which is a short drive from the property.

We had a great family vacation at the Renaissance. While in Pattaya our highlights were a day trip to Koh Larn, the Elephant Sanctuary and the best water park at Ramayana!! At the hotel, Johnnie and team at 609 kitchen were amazing!!! Treated us so well at breakfast and dinner!

We booked the room with King bed. When we arrive, the hotel said king bed is not available and it is not guarantee. When I made the order, I can clearly see the king bed room and twin bed room are different and with different price. It is too surprise to be advised the ordered room type is not available and for the couple to stay in twin bed room.

Everyone knows that we are able to check-in at 3pm during long holidays in Thailand we have to drive 4-5 hours from Bangkok to Pattaya and when we reached, the room isn’t available and we have to wait at lobby with 2 kids for one hour.

Unclear about room occupancy between agoda and the hotel. However, the reception at the hotel couldn't manage this problem and let the customer taking the responsibility. I booked for a seaview room but got a pool view. Also, the iphone charger is not compatible to their plugs, they gave us socket extension instead. - - Overall, it's not worth for your money. Very expensive comparing to the quality.

Excellent stay as always. Very rapid service to help with any of our needs. Breakfast buffet is one of the best we’ve had. Johnnie goes that extra mile to make your stay a great one which is very welcome with two young children. We’ll be back again.

The Renaissance is always a pleasure to stay at. The rooms, service, food, and views are great! I would like to especially call out Johnny, the food & beverage manager, who went out of his way to make sure my partner and I were well taken care of, to include stopping to chat multiple times, bringing us drinks, and having fresh fruit delivered to the room unprompted. I will definitely stay at the Renaissance on my next visit to Pattaya.

We had an amazing experience. The resort, the rooms, the pool, restaurants, beach, everything was great! This is the trip we were hoping for! But what made it the best experience was Johnnie and his staff. Negative experience, inside hotel many criminal gangs operated along with securities If you wanna be robbed and beaten because of your call to police book this place . Staff speak little english or not speak at all , food overpriced . Near hotel construction site and huge noise since 8 a.m. everyday inclusive weekend . Owner he wants business must replace all staff.

This was our fifth stay at Pattaya Renaissance Resort and Spa, as our family returns here every year on December 5th to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. As always, the warm hospitality never fails to impress. Mr. Endre and Mr. Opel greeted us warmly upon arrival, and we were truly surprised by the thoughtful birthday setup in our room — from the large birthday cake to the beautiful decorations and the lovely greeting card prepared especially for our daughter. We also received a room upgrade according to our Marriott Bonvoy status. Initially, we considered staying at the Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa since it is newer, but in the end, we chose to return here because we genuinely appreciate the outstanding service, the spacious swimming pool, and the peaceful atmosphere. The Hotel staff are very friendly and the property is well maintained and not very old. The beach is really nice with Clearwater. The food options in the main restaurant are really good with the several cuisines.

I love to stay this hotel their stuff was pretty good and friendly the front name Arty very nice. The atmosphere of the hotel was pretty good. There's two pool and walking this time to the beach seems like it's a private beach. We really enjoy to stay here. The breakfast was also perfect so many choice. I will bring my family back here again if you want to stay in peaceful place this is recommended for you.
