Comfortable room, very quiet location, but minutes from the train. Wonderful staff, upbeat enthusiastic. The breakfast was superior! Hot and cold choices, unlimited cappuccinos, fresh croissants, fresh fruit, provided with information and map of the city.

Die zentrale Lage ist sehr gut, das Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Angestellten sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz im Innenhof war für 15 CHF pro Tag verfügbar.

Wir können aus unserer Sicht keine Kritik üben, da wir insgesamt zufrieden waren.

Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage geradezu ideal für unseren Kurzaufenthalt. Das Zimmer, das Frühstück und der Service sind wirklich sehr zu loben. Die Nähe zur Kunsthalle, und dass man die kostenfreie Eintrittskarte nutzen durfte, haben den Besuch abgerundet.

Coffee at breakfast - not bad but could be better. Carrying suitcases up the steps at the end of the street because we didn't realise there was a ramp further up the road.

Every single member of staff was helpful and friendly. Splendid bedroom : comfortable bed, two chairs and a bean bag! BBC World television was appreciated. Well-equipped bathroom with an excellent shaving mirror.

We had an unexpected and free upgrade to a wonderful room at the top of the hotel - very luxurious! Thank you so much! Hotel is lovely, food is good, and in a really handy location - 10 min walk from station, from the Alt Stad, from the Kunst Museum. Could not have wished for a better place to stay.

Staff at Reception were incredible. Full of information regarding the hotel, walking around the old city and even showed us up to our rooms. Loved the rooms. Big and quiet! Not small and stuffy like our rooms in Interlaken and Chur. Also loved the breakfast - especially the scrambled eggs, which were hot, fresh and plentiful.

The staff was very very great. Super helpful. Had a nice dinner on their back terrace one night and it was great. The room we had didn't really have much in the way of view. Nice and close to the restaurants and just a ten minute walk to the train station.

Our room looked a a wall and we thought we'd have a view of the city/river. It's a fairly uphill climb to the hotel from the train station.

The hotel is easy to find from the Zurich main train station. It is located a little outside the main tourist area, but getting around was super easy. The room was very clean, with shelves and things to make organisation of belonging easy to see...and therefore not forget!

Nothing. Everything was good. The aircon worked well, there is a lift, there is a small bar and the restaurant serves lunch and dinners, as well as breakfast.

Ilmastointi oli hieman puutteellinen, ei toiminut riittävän tehokkaasti. Hieman ahdas suihku. Lattian kaato oli väärään suuntaan. Aamupalan hedelmät oli al dente. Hinta oli melko suolainen.

Location is very convenient; just a few minutes walk from the train station and the Old Town. Room is spacious & provides positive vibes and breakfast is really good. Most importantly all of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Sehr schoenes Zimmer mit Bad, beides geschmackvoll, modern und sehr sauber. Frühstück ist angemessen und ok, jedoch nicht hervorragend oder gar aussergewoehnlich. Fuer unsere Ansprueche voellig ausreichend. Die Lage ist stadt- und bahnhofsnah und daher alles fusslaeufig zu erreichen, ein sehr grosser Plusspunkt! Parkmoeglichkeiten sind sehr gut.

The room was much larger than what I expected for a single room! The decor was simple but nicely designed. The shower was spacious and had all of the expected amenities. More importantly, the room was quiet! Not only could I not ear noise from the outside, but I never heard sounds of other guests.

I stayed in a bright, sunny attic room. The hotel has a perfect location and an excellent staff. Thanks to them (special thanks to Albena Heidorn), I had a wonderful time in Zurich. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining area was always very clean and well organized. Almost everything is easily accessible on foot or by public transport, and the tram to the airport is just a five-minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Zurich in the future.

La ubicacion es excepcional para ir caminando a la.estacion del tren y al paseo a lo largo del río Limmat. La cama super cómoda. La habitacion muy confortable. La atención del personal del hotel fue excelente.

房間乾淨明亮，床頭的閱讀燈很漂亮且實用。設備該有的都有（電熱水瓶、冰箱、冷氣）且品質都很棒，而且窗戶隔音很棒。接待人員非常親切會親自帶你到房間並稍微解說注意事項，也提供寄放行李的服務，其中一天我有使用SBB寄送，他們也很好心的幫我接收並寄放行李。早餐食物好吃、餐廳乾淨且餐廳工作人員也很親切。

靠近大門路側的房間若開窗可能會聞到二手煙，有點小可惜，但也不是飯店能控制的，關上窗就沒問題了！ 從車站走過來會經過上坡，但一樣搭電車就能解決😆

La ubicación del hotel es fantástica, muy cerca de varias paradas de tranvías, y también cerca de la estación de tren. El personal del hotel es muy muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Tuvieron la habitación preparada antes de la hora, nos guardaron los equipajes. La habitación está muy bien, con sitio donde guardar y colgar cosas, con una mesa y silla, con cortinas opacas que apenas dejan entrar la luz por la noche y el baño muy limpio y cómodo.

No tengo nada que decir, todo me gustó.

The hotel is easy walking distance from the train station and was very easy to find. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was excellent with a really comfortable bed and plenty of space. Everything was clean. Loved the breakfast with a simple buffet and seats both inside and outside. The outside terrace was a delightful place to sit and have coffee. Checking in and out was easy and the staff were really helpful with recommendations of things to see and do in the vicinity.

Wir hatten vermutlich ein Upgrade, aber das Zimmer im Nebengebäude war sehr groß, hell und wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit Produkten von hoher Qualität. Auf Anfrage kann man Mitgliedskarten für das Kunsthaus bekommen, die einem freien Eintritt ermöglichen.

Morgens etwas Lärm im Hinterhof. Direkt vor unserem Fenster parkte ein Auto.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Home Away From Home We had a wonderful stay at Hotel St. Josef in Zurich. It truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was exceptionally clean, tidy, and very well maintained. The room was comfortable, and the furniture and amenities were thoughtfully arranged and very user-friendly. What made our stay especially memorable was the warm and friendly staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The food was excellent as well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The location is fantastic—very convenient for exploring Zurich while still providing a comfortable and peaceful place to return to after a long day. We felt so comfortable here that it really seemed like we were staying in another home rather than a hotel. Excellent cleanliness, wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and a great location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Hotel St. Josef! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless the owners , staff and the guests abundantly with His grace.

Very friendly & welcoming. As we had an early start on our last day and would miss breakfast we were kindly supplied with a lunch pack for our journey. Would highly recommend this hotel, great location near main station and not far from the old town.

Location was excellent and very quiet for city centre. Attractive building.

The room was only set up for one, despite the hotel knowing we were a couple. Our flight was delayed, I informed hotel of our late arrival. We arrived after midnight, the receptionist practically knocked me backwards off the stone step when he came to let us in and then we discovered the room had only one towel and one single duvet! After chasing towels, pillows and duvet, we had to then wrestle pillow cases on and duvet cover ourselves. We were singularly unimpressed. Breakfast was uninspiring and basic - unless you like the self-serve semi-warm cooked stuff.
