Almarossa

The staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly. The room was big enough for us easily to have our luggage in and move around easily. I was worried about noise after reading some reviews, and we were in a room on the 3rd floor that faced the street, but the noise was minor and despite being a light sleeper, it didn't wake me at all. The room was very clean, and the shower was large with excellent water pressure! The part we stayed had 3 apartments (private bedroom & bathroom) with a shared kitchen. The kitchen was amazing!! Really well kitted out, we were surprised and impressed! We used the laundry in the basement, which was very good too. Free to use, just pay 1 euro for a washing pod thing, or bring your own.

Between the shower and the bedroom are see through panels ... it didnt bother us but might bother someone travelling with their child or parent or friend? Also there was a toilet with one of the pray hose bidet things (sorry bidets are not common in my country so I don't know how to describe it) and also a separate bidet opposite the toilet. This took up a lot of room in the bathroom and made it a little tricky getting in and out of the shower. Its not a big deal but just wanted to let people know in case of mobility issues. However in general I would say the good things about staying here FAR outweigh these little niggles!

Ideal location easy walk to the main sites of Bologna. Handy supermarket and cafes steps away from the entrance. Across the road to lots of bars and restaurants.

Nothing all good

Sauber, stadtnah , bequeme Betten

Anfangs Kloaken Geruch im Bad. Verschwand bei offenem Fenster

We enjoyed our stay at Almarossa! Great location - away from the busy areas but still close walking distance to the city centre, grocery stores, and restaurants. 15min walk away from the railway station which was convenient. Check in and check out were smooth and staff were kind and helpful. The room itself was clean, cozy, and simple. AC was a huge plus for us - especially coming back after long hot days. It was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Bologna.

Saknade en spis/ kokplatta i köket.

The hotel was a fairly short walk from the train station and in a good location for the piazza, restaurants, and walking areas. Simple rooms but super comfortable and clean, with smart TVs which was perfect for when we needed downtime out of the burning hot sun. The staff were all lovely as well and couldn’t have done more to help us enjoy our stay in Bologna.

Goede locatie en goed comfort

Ruim en schoon appartement. Wasmachine aanwezig in het gebouw. Vlakbij de uitgaansgelegenheden.

Niets.

Lea was very helpful in assisting with check-in for our first visit to Bologna for a two night stay. Our accommodation was in a secure wing with two other rooms which together shared a kitchen-dining space. This creative use of space worked well for us. Good lift service and access to storage space and laundry facilities worked very well for us. We found our stay here clean, secure, and comfortable. The location was perfect for us mid point between the central train station and the historic centre. (15 minutes in either direction).

Shared open kitchen and dining space meant the occupied room was a bit small - but not a problem for us. Bed was too firm for our liking.

Cute and spacious bathroom, nice spaces, useful shared kitchen for morning coffee, very clean and well-styled. Very comfy bed/mattress and pillows.

Quite loud at night from the street

Very new, very comfortable and clean -

A B&B located in a nice area of Bologna. Close to the city center and train station, very easy to reach the main attraction, but in the same time you skip the crowded streets of the center areas. The staff is very friendly, we had a good communication and they provided useful info even before we reached bologna. The room is spacious and clean, you have everything you need for a nice stay. Even the building looks nice. Overall we had a great time at Almarossa.

Easy to find - 15 minutes walk from the station and 10 from the centre of town. Secure, clean and comfortable.

Didn't look like the photos

Everything! It is about 18 minute walking to the city center but worth it! Really nice staff, really nice apartments with a very good equipment!

X

Great ac, even at 38 degrees outside, excellent staff, super helpful.

All good

The fact that we could wash our clothes and the AC was great

We could hear everything from outside

El personal muy atento y amable.Buena ubicación muy céntrico.Apartamento moderno y bien equipado

Everything was fantastic

really good location and great reception team. super helpful and welcoming

Muy completo y bien ubicado

Nada

The room faced a street full of bars and nightlife venues, where dozens of people were drinking and talking loudly until the early hours of the morning. The noise prevented us from resting until after 3 a.m. However, the worst part was the hotel’s response. When we reported the problem, they simply told us that they could not control what was happening outside. When we insisted that we needed a solution so that we could sleep, they offered to move us to a quiet room, but only if we paid an additional €20 because it was a better room. A hotel must guarantee minimum conditions for rest and, when it is unable to do so, it should offer a solution without passing the cost on to the guest. Should the hotel deny what is stated in this review, I can provide copies of the messages exchanged, which confirm the truth of what has been described.

Ótimo atendimento, quartos novos, banheiro bom

Quarto pequeno

Big room, nice view, very friendly staff.

Really well fitted out and maintained. Looked like new. Very friendly welcome. Would stay there again

The location - we booked thinking it was close to the station but it was a very long walk with luggage in the heat. Was also a long walk from the centre

Good air conditioning and clean. Great location.

It wasn’t clear from the booking that it was a shared kitchen. The kitchen had pots but no hob.

Stanza nuova e molto ben articolata.

Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish there was a small desk table. The common area kitchen should have a bigger refridgerator.

Danke!

Sauberes Zimmer, mit allem was wir benötigten. Super Lage!

Ottima posizione, staff cortese e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Stanza accogliente e di grandi dimensioni. Pulizia impeccabile

Everything about this place is good, position of it is also very good, staff are lovely and looked after us on our stay. Will definitely return one day and stay in the same room which is unique.

Rien !

Czystość i wygoda

We really enjoyed our stay at Almarossa. Everything was beyond expectations. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Bologna. The room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked well, the kitchen was clean and so convenient.

Nothing to dislike.

We had a great stay at Hotel Amarossa. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. All the necessary amenities were provided, making our stay easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated how quiet it was — despite being in a convenient location, we were not disturbed by any outside noise. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more pleasant. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Nothing

Fantastic location and spacious. Clean and modern.

A bit of street noise at night but to be expected on the 3rd floor.

Molto accogliente

Struttura con posizione strategica, pulizia top!!

Pulizia, e struttura moderna, gentilezza dello staff (via whatsapp)

Very close to the metros 2 and 6. Alessandro was very helpful. The breakfast was also good.

The bed was too high. I needed a stool to get into bed.

Big and clean room.

Sound from the traffic

Good location to train station and city, spacious apartment and friendly staff.

Eleganza, riservatezza, pulizia e comfort.

Location and place excellent

Forget about hotels and army of staff and services. this Secure apartments building iz very clean with very spacious rooms, nicely equipped with everything needed. Comfortable bed, nice windows onto the street with minimal noise at night from vehicles, student area with plenty of coffee shops, small restaurants in the alleys, shops for all the needs and steps from the bus lines just in front with the train station 13 minutes walking and city center 10 minutes walking. Washing and drying room at the basement easy to use with storage for luggage when needed. Service team is very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable making the stay even more comfortable.

We have nothing to complain or dislike about this place.

Being there!

All Good

We spent 4 nights in room 41 in May 2026. Great and spacious apartment facing the backyard, which makes it pleasantly quiet in a busy city. Nice little balcony facing the same backyard. The temperature peaked 35+ C during the day, so effective air conditioning with 2 zones (Living room/Kitchen and bedroom) was worth its weight in gold. Good cleaning, friendly and attentive service. Good location and walking distance to everything. Absolutely fine Supermarket right nearby. Senior couple on Interrail

Nothing

Good value, easy, spacious apartment.

Traffic was quite noisy, although didn't stop us sleeping. Should give two keys by default. Reception hours quite short for weekend arrivals.

Location, size, facilities, modern kitchen and bathroom and very friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing

Absolument rien !

Disponibilità armadietti per deposito bagaglio e bagno limitrofo. Pensato per soggiorni lunghi e/o lavorativi. Aree comuni per relax. Struttura nuova e pulita.

The facilities, staff, and location were great. It's a comfy stay and close to all the sights. There was a national strike on public transport during our stay. The staff at Almarossa helped sort a taxis to get us to the airport on time.

The only thing was late night noise from the local bar at the weekend. We were on the top but needed earplugs to sleep. But that's city life for you.
