We had a wonderful stay! The alpacas on the farm were absolutely adorable—they would come right up to the bedroom window and graze, which was such a unique and relaxing experience. It felt very peaceful and close to nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet countryside getaway!
The best property in New Zealand
That my stay was soo short, people should definitely go there at least for two days
The farm tour and that you can make breakfast at your own convenience! The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional.
Easy access … very peaceful… comfortable

Very Comfortable and clean. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and the Alpaca tour was a great bonus. I would happily stay there for a week
A cosy stay for our family of 4, and we get to view the alpacas all day! Kit and Sheryl are great hosts who made sure our stay was comfortable. The farm is located in a quaint town with amenities plus it's only a 15 min drive from Christchurch. Good location.
Just 20mins or so from Christchurch. Lovely farm and property The hosts were very friendly and gave us a personal tour of the farm
Nice farm setting and hosts are nice people. House is very comfortable for family holidays

Lovely garden and alpacas in the paddock
Only 2 seats on the veranda
Short drive from Christchurch and a near by town with plenty of food options. Farm experience was great to hear how it all came to be.

Lovely farmstay in condos next to alpacas who were utterly adorable. We had a lovely night in this farmstay. The owners were charming and kind and informative. The tiny galley kitchen was well-stocked and we had a cozy night in the apartment (it was deep winter and this is not the normal time of year for guests and they still did a nice job!) Good shower/water pressure. Adorable Alpacas.
We have no complaints!
Like a Bed and breakfast with farm fresh eggs in our Yurt. Gave a lovely morning tour of the Alpaca farm. Private space with relaxing atmosphere for a family.
Location, interactive experience with the alpacas and the warm welcoming hosts.

De accommodatie was prima verzorgd en er was zelfs in een continental ontbijt voorzien. De uitgebreide alpaca tour was een zeker de moeite waard. Het enthousiasme van eigenaar Kit was bijzonder.
It is undescrabable how happy we were, that we found this place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! So sad, that we had only 1 night there. It is a small family-farm-hotel, where you gonna feel as the most welcomed person, or even as a family member. The owners are super friendly, the area is so beautiful with all those flowers and trees, perfectly maintained. The house is the cutest! You have everything needed there, even a heated mattress, board games and all necessary info about New Zealand. The cutest ever breakfast gonna wait for you in the fridge. But the cherry on top of the cake - the alpacas! They are adorable and you can have a tour, where the owner gonna tell you everything about them, you can touch and feed them too. There is also a small shop on the territory, where you can buy the stuff they make from alpacas fur. That hotel was one of the highlight of our New Zealand trip and we gonna definitely come back next time we are in New Zealand.
The alpacas! The kids loved getting close to them and feeding them. The owner Kit is very friendly, welcoming, accommodating
this was such a great find and unique experience I got from traveling in New Zealand. very affordable for a group, light breakfast provided. our host Kit was very kind in helping us get set up in our cottage. Make sure to leave time the next morning to do the alpaca tour! this was so so cool and you really get up close to feed and pet them! we even got to hold a baby alpaca. super short drive to Christchurch and the airport for any activities afterwards
A short drive from Christchurch Airport, you will meet the most lovely alpacas here! Kit is an exceptional host - we loved the farm tour and the great hospitality from him. Beds and pillows were very comfy and we had a restful night. We would recommend this place to all!!
Everything was great.
Very unique experience, living in the farm and interacting with lots of lovely alpaca.
Kit is so kind and very helpful. I really recommend for family with kids to stay in this farm. The Alpacs farm tour was so impressive. Great job Kit!!!!
Breakfast was simple and sufficient. Ice creams were available too. Really great. We were free to explore the entire farm and mingle with the alpacas too which was great! Comfortable, clean accommodation. Will stay again.
This property is absolutely a must if you love alpacas and beautiful gardens! We loved our stay and the hosts were among the friendliest people in New Zealand. I would love to return some day and stay longer. Book this one, you won’t regret it.
Lovely setting, great vibe and hosts.
Family friendly, great hosts
There are animals in the hotel.
Beautiful design room well equipped the farm garden amazing, the owner took us to see the alpacas

Amazing farmstay which was managed by owner Kit who kindly brought us around on a very comprehensive alpaca farm tour and patiently taught us how to interact with the animals given we are city folk and not that familiar with farm animals. Also zero hard selling from him from his farm products and even walked us through how he came to this farm/business and appreciated him answering all our questions even though he had such a busy schedule. Accommodations was more than enough for just the few of us, extremely spacious and good to cook as well. Also kindly provided us breakfast from his farm/local produce which we greatly appreciated! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked it longer!
Nothing at all!!
Their farm is very good , room is very clean and convenient

Love everything here Owner and staffs are very helpful and friendly I wake up, have a cup of tea, walk around and was welcomed by cute alpaca in front of our house.
I arrived late, it’s quite dark so a bit hard to find a sign
Nice calm place. Came because children always wanted to stay at a farm. Fantastic host, who had help from to French students. Really Nice for kids to feed alpackas and meet the baby alpackas. Breakfast a bit basic for the Price.
The beds were comfy, TV options were good. Breakie was nice, but first day didn’t have enough bread. The alpacas are gorgeous. My daughter loved feeding them.
The farm itself looks a little bit tired, the mould in the bathrooms wasn’t pleasant. Felt it would have been nicer to have the owners around rather than the French girls even though both were lovely.
Lovely unit, well appointed with everything you could possibly need apart from a coffee plunger or percolator for the grounded coffee provided for your breakfast. Continental breakfast was OK. Farm was lovely and the alpacas so cute but aloof. Would recommend to other travellers.
Had a very lovely adventure here! The accommodations are homely and comfortable. It's clean and smells fresh. Hosts were very friendly and took us around the farm. They provided lots of opportunities to get up close to the alpacas, and even helped to catch the cute little ones for us to pat only because I made a passing remark that had a tinge of regret about how the young ones run away from us. It was very enjoyable, thanks again!
Alpaca feeding Saw a baby alpaca born.
Great farm, great hosting, fantastic rooms. Don’t miss the alpaca farm tour.
Al fantastic
did not get a chance to like anything as was to busy try to find
be told out you go as you have cancelled your holiday
I like the warmth of the owner. They were very helpful and nice. The farm tour was very fun and fabulous. We were so happy. It's a quite, beautiful, and comfortable place
Alpaca. Nice living room and bed room
Shower water pressure
Quiet & comfortable place , the kid happy can feed and touch alpaca.
Like the quiet place and interaction with Alpachas. Staff in charge was friendly
Was expecting more in the morning. Probably a couple of alpachas in front of our doors but didn't see. We left before 9am, maybe too early.
Comfortable and very welcoming people
Farm tour and close up encounter with the alpacas was the highlight! Accommodation was clean.
Cottage stay was basic. Can consider staying elsewhere and just go for the farm tour.
Lovely bed and breakfast in such a serene farm setting next to a stream that too near Christchurch airport. Icing on the cake: incredibly hospitable hosts to make sure everything is perfect
Alpaca. Farm tour was fantastic . We loved them so much. Apartment was clean and fully equipped, washing machine provided too.. House owner, Kit was friendly and attended to us promptly.
Farm location: Road sign to the farm was a little difficult to find. It will be good if we could also get to tour sheep, & cow farm too
It was just too lovely to wake up to beautiful cherry blossoms and alpacas right in front of our cottage. Staff and owners were exceedingly nice and farm tour was amazing for my daughter
Comfortable
Kid was a great host and we loved the tour to interact with the alpacas, they are so cute.
Kit was fantastic! He gave us a tour of the farm with a lot of information. Loved the alpacas!
Everything was good.
The farm-stay concept as well as the friendly Host and staff!

Very comfortable lodging hosted by very friendly owners. The very informative owner and his very cute, interesting Alpacas.
The location might just be a little bit further off Christchurch, but there are still amenities around.
Is cosy and had alpaca tour with the friendly owner
Nothing at all
Kit and Sheryl (and Julie - Kit’s apprentice ) were really welcoming and open to inviting you to join them in their farm activities if you’re open to it. I had the opportunity to walk and round a few alpacas as they prepare for a show the next day. Kit is also very open to sharing his story and knowledge on alpacas which is really interesting, especially when they had quite a few award winning alpacas over the years. Definitely a different and more immersive farm stay for me this time round, but of course I wouldn’t expect the same on each visit unless they intentionally planned something, which may actually be a good idea for them.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Great location, easy to find. Great place to wake up
No Uber eats 😂😂
Friendly and helpful staff.
Farm wasn't aware we were arriving despite confirmed booking. Apart from scattering of Alpacas there wasn't much else to see or do. Possibly because it rained the night before so everywhere was flooded.
Good host and amenities
Little lights at night at entrance
Love the fact that it was a stay on the farm
