Anders als in anderen B&B mussten wir uns unser Frühstück selber zubereiten, Toast und Aufstrich, Joghurt und Cornflakes waren vorhanden

Breakfast looks delicious although we havent had it as we left earlier.

Everything looks good. Except the bedroom is a little bit warm as there is no air condition, but the fan works for us.

Les déjeuner n'était pas à quoi je pensais. C'était écrit déjeuner que l'on peut apporter. Je m'attendais à des muffins ou autres choses du genre, avec un breuvage pour apporter. Il y avait seulement des choses à manger sur place. Nous devions quitter très tôt genre 5h00 du matin, alors des trucs à apporter aurait été appréciés.

Zimmer war als Zwischenstopp für den Flughafentransfer gebucht, da wir das Wohnmobil einen Tag vor Flug zurückgeben mussten. Wir waren wesentlich früher an der Unterkunft als vereinbart und der Vermieter hat sich sofort um die schnelle Reinigung und Freigabe unseres Zimmers gekümmert, somit konnten wir bereits 4 Stunden vor der vereinbarten Zeit einchecken. Das Zimmer liegt in einer sehr guten Wohnlage, der Flughafen ist mit dem Auto in 20 Minuten erreichbar, gutes WLAN, sehr sauber, großes, bequemes Bett, großes Bad mit Doppelwaschtisch, Dusche und Badewanne. Ganz in der Nähe ist die Fisherman´s Wharft die mit dem öffentlichen Bus, Bushaltestelle um die Ecke, erreichbar ist. Das war noch mal ein super Tipp vom Vermieter. Ein Shuttle zum Flughafen kann auch über den Vermieter organisiert werden.

Rundum Zufrieden, keine Negativen Kritikpunkte vorhanden. Gerne wieder.

The host was helpful and friendly

The setup was renting rooms in a private house which was not clearly stated in the advert. The house was grubby and messy and looked totally different to the advert. The garden was not available to use. It was close to the airport but not on an easy public transport route so only option was really be taxi. Breakfast was ´make your own’ using the contents of the fridge. Some rooms had shared bathroom which was not clearly stated unless you carefully read the individual room description.

The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean. The hosts were kind and helpful, and very accessible for any questions.

近くにshopもレストランも無く食事も出来なかった。 朝食付きになってるが、cereal とパン、ジュースだけ。 値段に全く合って無い。 シャワー室壁に多数の黴あり、不清潔。20ドルで空港へ送りますと紹介されてたが朝9時前は対応しないと断られた。 Booking.comの提携取り消して欲しい。

Ability to drop off luggage before check-in time so we could explore area. Quiet and safe area.

Wish it were closer (walking) to more amenities but we were fine using transit.

Gute Lage zum Flughafen

Insgesamt sehr unpersönlich, außer beim Einchecken sieht man niemanden, Frühstück muss man sich aus dem Kühlschrank holen, Toast, Butter, 1 Marmelade, Nutella (z.T. vertrocknet), Kaffee und Tee. Pro Gast 1 Duschhandtuch, sonst keine Handtücher im Bad.

Proximity of everything!

The close proximity to YVR made it a great place to stay. The Uber prices were less than taxis, and it takes less than 10 - 15 minutes one way. The breakfast was a "help yourself" style with the exception of requesting boiled eggs. I personally liked that aspect. There are a number of restaurants just around the corner, which is a bonus for lunch/dinner options. It is a residential home and depending on the room you book, you may have to share the bathroom. I personally do not mind that, and for the price point I am very satisfied with the experience.

It would have been nice to know that the bathroom would potentially be shared with other people, but other than that I have nothing negative to say. :)

房東很友善也會講中文，離機場很近。 桌上的早餐可以隨時取用，對於我們很早的班機來說算是很貼心。 雙人房很大間，浴廁雖然是共用的，但是維持的很乾淨。

The host was the most amazing kind human, although I never met them, the welcomed me into their home and let me stay well after the check out times due to my late flight. Amazing recommendations on food and really beautiful walks around the area. Shops close by literally a 5 minute walk. Wish I could rate them higher. 10000% will stay here again and will recommend to everyone I know. 20/10

Nothing everything was perfect

Our host, David, was wonderful, friendly, and helpful, plus his sweet mother boiled eggs for us to take along in the morning. It was only a 2-mile walk from our conference center and an excellent morning walk along the Fraser River Mid Arm Trail each day on the way to the conference center.

The phrase “Bed and Breakfast “ means something very different in Canada than it does in the U.S. We did not know that when we booked the room. It was more like what our area would call a hostel. You are renting a bed to sleep in. We felt terrible, because it very much seemed like we had bumped someone out of their bedroom, so we could stay there. The dresser and closet had someone’s personal items in them. We had requested boiled eggs for protein after we saw what was considered a breakfast in Canada (boxed cereal and yogurt, some fruit) and our hosts were wonderfully accommodating, but the eggs were not marked that they were there because we had requested them, so other guests had already eaten most of them by the time we got down for breakfast. It was a simple misunderstanding, not intentional to be rude or inconsiderate. My husband’s comment was that it would be helpful to have signs telling the procedures guests should follow. There were lots of signs telling everyone what NOT to do (particularly with recycling or compost), but there was nowhere we could find that told us what we were SUPPOSED to do with items. There is video surveillance everywhere, so our hosts must have noticed in the video that none of us could figure out what to do with food waste. Someone did let my husband know the next day what to do with food waste (peels, egg shells, etc). The family was sweet and very hospitable. We were hesitant to mention our concerns, because they were very gracious and kind, and we do not want to hurt their business. At the same time, if we had understood the cultural differences between Canada’s bed and breakfast concept and what we were expecting, we would have chosen differently.

Leider habe ich bei der Buchung übersehen, dass es ein B+B ist. Diese Art der Unterkunft mag ich nicht und würde die weitere Bewertung beeinflussen.

Die Räume bräuchten dringend eine Renovierung. Die Schränke konnten nicht benutzt werden, da diese mit den privaten Dingen des Eigentümers gefüllt waren.

I’m just trying to put into words how beautiful my room was and how comfortable the bed was. I came in late and everyone was sleeping so I didn’t quite get a greeting, but it was still very comfortable and I I felt safe and pampered. I will stay here again if I visit Vancouver in the future.

Proximity to airport is convenient and it is still quiet. The host communcated in advance and was very flexible granting an early check-in.

Unfortunately, except for the rooms, the house is uncleanly and chaotic with a lot of stuff standing around- same in the garden. Breakfast is self-serve, but doesn‘t really offer anything and for us it was unappetizing to eat anything surrounded by chaos.

Lovely rooms. Extensive selection for help yourself breakfast. Host was very helpful and booked us taxis. He was flexible about timings checking in. Overall very happy.

Casa molto bella in un quartiere elegante. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Grande bagno dotato di quanto necessario. Posizione ottima per l’aeroporto. David è una persona molto gentile e pronto ad aiutare e venire incontro alle necessità.

There are plenty of self-access choices for breakfast, which is an uncooked version but offers sufficient options. The whole house is neat as a pin and clean, and every time I wanted something in my room it was provided (e.g. plug converters, fans, shampoo, etc etc). Free off-street parking and easy check-in. The handheld shower has abundant pressure, which is very important to me. Really, everything was available and suitable, just like the last time I stayed in 2023.

Der er pænt og rent. Ejeren var superhjælpsom både med tidligere indtjekning og taxibestilling til lufthavnen. Valgte stedet, fordi det ligger tæt på lufthavnen.

David was a wonderful host! Bed was super comfy as well.

David and Jackie were proficient and professional. When we arrived, we didn't know if we were in the right place as the front could have looked a bit cleaner or more inviting.

Goed contact via app. Wij hadden gelukkig een badkamer voor onszelf.

Vertraging maar dat lag niet aan de accomodatie.Alles prima, beetje duur, maar dat is overal in Canada volgens mij.

とても良い施設でしたが一人なのに二人部屋予約してしまい、値段がかなり高かったです。また空港近くなので飛行機の音が夜中までうるさく、窓を開けていられないくらいでした。もう一つエキスぺディアでは正しい住所だったのに携帯ではなぜか同じ住宅地の別の住所が表示されて当初チェックインにかなり手間取りました。

Het is een pracht locatie maar met het ov wel behoorlijk ver naar het vliegveld en het centrum, Ca 45 minuten.

Location is central & fairly close to the airport. The son of the owner was nice to reach out to me & give the code to enter the house given I was arriving at 6pm. Quiet nice neighbourhood with safe parking. Descent self survive breakfast.

The room was very dusty, as though it was not occupied for a while. I had trouble falling asleep & woke up with a severe allergy due to the dust. There was a layer of dust on the tv table & blinds. The bath tub had a layer of dust & human hair on the edges, which is unacceptable. One towel had an odorous aroma. The room had cobwebs too. See photos attached

I was so glad the host took us to our cruise ship the next day at a good cost, and he was so friendly and helpful!

Good communication with hosts. Orher guests were very friendly and quiet. Homeowners were on-site if we had any questions.

David met us to check in and explained everything clearly. We had a lovely big room, breakfast was great (cereals, toast, tea, coffee, fruit) Fridge was well stocked We needed to do laundry and that was no problem either Place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay again
