Very beautiful, with great jungle view. Especially the room with the infinity pool, with occasional monkeys of the forest that pass by.

A beautiful location overlooking ‘jungle’ and the river below. And across to Maya Resort. Very peaceful, and felt like authentic Ubud. Lovely boutique feel with only 20 rooms. The room was a generous size, and great to have double sliding doors to open, and sit out on the verandah. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy. The staff were lovely, and particularly attentive when my cousin had Bali Belly. They sent coconuts to her room, as well as other amenities she needed. I loved lounging by the pool, and we were lucky enough to be there for a sound healing session in the pool, which was so relaxing. I had a spa treatment which was great. The shuttle service is handy, but open air, so might be hot given you’ll be stuck in traffic heading into Ubud centre. The bar upstairs is the perfect way to end the day with a cocktail, or 2!

Just a couple of small suggestions… as the bathroom is outdoors, it would be great to have a full length mirror and rubbish bin inside the room. The food was fairly good, but not brilliant. Shakshuka eggs and smoothie bowl were standouts for breakfast. Even though it is only 5km from top of Monkey Forrest Rd, it often took 45 mins to 1 hour by car to get there. Crazy busy traffic - no fault of the hotel of course, but keep it in mind.

L’humidité de la chambre.. rien ne sèche et les draps étaient humides tout le temps malgré les changements.. aussi nous nous sommes fait masser 2 fois et les 2 fois la personne qui s’occupait de moi était par moment sur son téléphone en même temps qu’elle me massait à 1 main…

The food was exceptionally better than the other hotels I stayed in at Bali, The pool was clean. The staff were great.

Some areas needs fencing to avoid people tripping off. Almost had a near miss situation near the bar.

Whats not to love? , we had a private villa all to ourselves, gorgeous views, gorgeous pool, everyone visited the spa at least once if not more. the staff went over and above to make us feel at home and the menu had some decent gluten free options for my mom.

We took the Premier Pool Access Suite and it was exactly like in the pictures!! Absolutely amazing, the pool was incredible, and the view from it was stunning. They also helped me planning a surprise breakfast for my boyfriend’s birthday in our suite and it was lovely!

It turns out that for everything you buy at the hotel whether it's food at the restaurant, drinks from the minibar, or a massage at the spa - they add service charges and taxes, so your bill at check-out ends up being much higher than you'd expect.

Cet hôtel est tout simplement incroyable ! Au calme, une vue à couper le souffle, un véritable havre de paix ! La chambre que nous avions réservé était spacieuse, propre et très confortable, avec la piscine privée, notre séjour est tout simplement inoubliable ! Nous avons eu la chance de voir passer deux jours de suite quelques singes dans la jungle depuis notre chambre. Le service est exceptionnel, le personnel incroyablement gentil et à l’écoute. Les massages du spa très relaxants et la nourriture servie est tout simplement délicieuse à tout point de vue ! Si nous revenons un jour à Bali nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans ce magnifique hôtel

Très bel hôtel , notamment les chambres qui donnent sur la piscine en longueur : spectaculaire ! Par contre les chambres sentent un peu l’humidité mais sans que ce soit embêtant . L’hôtel est très au calme et c est très appréciable !

L’hôtel est hors du centre de ubud donc grab obligatoire en scooter car beaucoup de bouchons ! La carte du restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur des autres restaurants dans lesquels on peut dîner à ubud.

Location, relative quiet. Staff attentiveness and service.

We were in room 111. We paid a lot of money. 1. The bed could have been more comfortable than it was, surprisingly lumpy. 2. We were underneath the bar the first room on the wooden walkway. Very noisy when children run on the wooden boards as they did. 3. Monkeys are part of nature and were in their environment. However, the pool needs to be Ph tested, chlorine and other tested as the monkeys use the pool too. They also play, fornicate, urinate and defecate; all the more reason to chlorinate daily. I was advised this is done 2-3 times a week which is not good enough. Chlorine also evaporates in warm to hot climates. 4. The TV was not up to scratch. A Sharp aqueous is an old TV. For the money we paid I would be expecting an LG OLED or C6 OLED or similar (we don’t go on holidays to watch TV but for the money a cheap TV ought to have been provided. 5. I think there should be rails to assist one on the initial set of stairs which are quite steep and seem like an accident waiting to happen.

es gab nichts zu meckern, ausser das Krähen der Hähne vom Nachbargrundstück, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts und das passiert überall in Indonesien und dass es für indonesische Verhältnisse relativ teuer war, aber dafür hat man ein CHSE zertifiziertes Hotel, was bedeutet, dass bestimmte Hygiene- und Nachhaltigkeitsstandards eingehalten werden, welche von einem unabhängigen Unternehmen überprüft werden. Diese Zertifizierung ist freiwillig.

Trop d'escaliers sans rampe ni protection sur le côté. Espaces de terrasses sans garde corps très dangereux la nuit. A éviter avec des jeunes enfants pas aux normes par rapport à la France. Moisissure dans la chambre. De plus la chambre donne sur un mur très étroit et très haut, très sombre, style prison.

Hidden Paradise is truly a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to its name — a real hidden paradise in Ubud. We stayed in the Premier Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and overall a wonderful room. The infinity pool right in front of the rooms is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views over the lush jungle. The whole setting feels incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The food was very good, and we also really enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing massage area. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Hidden Paradise to anyone looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature.

The only thing worth mentioning — not really a negative, just something to keep in mind — is the location. The hotel is not directly in Ubud center; it is approximately a 15-minute drive away. For us, however, the beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere definitely made up for it.

Staff on reception are wonderful The location is truly tucked away in the jungle, with locals, temples, small shops and great walks outside the hotel. The plunge pool in the room, surrounded by jungle, was a welcome refresh

The food As a solo guest for dinner, they couldn't find me a table; instead, I was sent to eat off a tray in the empty bar. The bar isn't a bar btw - one type of wine throughout the hotel and no chance of olives, nuts etc The steps - steep concrete steps without a rail - be warned there are plenty here!

Before coming, I requested the hotel to please keep me separate from noisy guests. I read some reviews that this happens here. They promised me and even on check in the guy promised he will do his best to ensure a peaceful stay. He failed to inform me that next my room was an ill behaved disrespectful family. A kid kept disrupting my peace and screaming at me every time I went to the private pool - he screamed around the entire property. Even while I tried to yoga or massage we could hear his screams. These were my 3 days here. What I find sad is the staff did nothing about it clearly. The person who checked me in was eager to approach me every morning to ask for room cleaning, but when I wanted to complain about what I’m experiencing he was nowhere to be found and hid. The manager promised she’ll offer me another stay someday. I’ll wait to review this next time around if it happens. They don’t see the mood at all. Noisy guests we just have to deal with even if we are paying guests. Id urge them to inform all guests that this is a peaceful and serene property and to respect others privacy. The staff did not do their job well on this instead they let the issue happen quietly.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The property is peaceful, well-designed, and surrounded by stunning nature. The staff were kind, and I really enjoyed my stay. Overall, it’s a wonderful place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat and don’t mind being away from everything. But if you plan to explore the area frequently by car or rely on nearby dining options, the location may not be the best choice.

However, the location is something future guests should consider carefully, especially if you’re driving. The road to the hotel is quite challenging, with steep uphill and downhill sections on very narrow roads. Driving there every day became quite stressful. In addition, it usually took around 40 minutes to an hour to reach the city center because of traffic. Another downside is that there are very few vegetarian food options, and there aren’t restaurants within easy reach if you’re looking for a meal.

Это было лучшее размещение из тех мест, где мы побывали на Бали за 15 дней. Тихий кусочек Рая. Улыбчивый ненавязчивый персонал, комфортная кровать, тишина и невероятные виды на джунгли. Хорошая кухня с большим выбором блюд как местных так и еврейских. Большой бассейн с красивой панорамой стал любимым местом, а массаж на закате стал самым ярким впечатлением за всю поездку

В день нашего приезда не удалось арендовать байк прямо в отеле, все были заняты, т.к. мы были в пик сезона. Но персонал очень быстро нашел решение и организовал байк через своих партнеров в течении часа

A lovely, peaceful hideaway. If you're looking for a giant modern concrete hotel, this isn't it - it's full of traditional Balinese charm with wooden furniture and lush tropical gardens everywhere. We loved sitting on our private balcony in the morning listening to nature. The pool was cleaned daily and very refreshing. Getting to the center of Ubud was quick and cheap using the hotel's scheduled shuttle or Grab app. Food was fresh and tasty too!

El personal de recepcion fue siempre muy atento. La vista que tenia desde mi habitacion era extraordinaria. Las chicas que trabajaban en el SPA tambien fueron siempre muy atentas y recomendables. El hecho de cruzarme monos saltando entre las ramas de los arboles de la zona, fue el toque de sorpresa para mi. De la misma forma la Sound Bath Healing Session que pude disfrutar el primer dia en mi llegada.

We really enjoyed our stay. So much so that we extended our stay by a night. The rooms were really clean, the view was incredible. It's pet friendly so our cats could come along. Staff was really friendly all around - even brought our food deliveries to room if we didn't walk out to the reception in time. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

Review would have been a 10/10 if not for the massage we had towards the end of our stay. We booked a 2 hour spa with a 90min massage and a flower bath. The massage was really good, however, the flowers in the bath were not cleaned so we ended up having a bath with ants and caterpillars. The situation was however handled well by staff.

Ma plus grosse déception concerne l'odeur d'humidité dans la chambre. Ça pue tout simplement et ce n' est pas ce qu'on attend d'un hôtel à ce prix. Je pense que cela vient de la douche avec des pierre au sol qui piège l'humidité et l'eau. Enfin la piscine est jolie mais trop froide. Du coup personne n'en profite vraiment...

This is one of my favorite hotels in Bali. It offers the most breathtaking sunset in Ubud, an outstanding restaurant with delicious food, caring and attentive staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and a perfect location. Every stay here has been a wonderful experience, and I always look forward to coming back.

Vi likte dette stedet! 2 voksne og barn 13 og 16 år. Maten var smakfull og delikat laget til. Rommene rene og utsikten utover jungelen var fantastisk! Yogaen var svært bra! De hadde lyd meditasjon på madrass i bassenget og den gikk vi glipp av. De har en sjåfør de anbefalte som tok oss med på sightseeing og det var veldig bra. Vi var også hjemme hos han for å se hvordan de lever på Bali. Han var en behagelig sjåfør. Hvis vi reiser til Ubud igjen vil vi dra dit.

The massage experience was bad because the person who did the massage didn't know how.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hidden Paradise Ubud as a family with our 3-year-old child. The hotel truly lives up to its name – it is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxing and escaping the crowds. The quiet surroundings made it easy for all of us to unwind and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They were also very friendly towards our child, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. A special thank you for the lovely anniversary surprise they prepared for us – it was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable. We also highly recommend the spa and massage treatments. They were very relaxing, professionally delivered, and a perfect addition to our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to couples as well as families looking for tranquility, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable stay in Ubud.

The only downside was the construction work taking place just behind our room. However, this was clearly beyond the hotel’s control, and it did not change our overall positive experience.

Such an amazing hidden gem! The location is quiet, but you can be in the city center quickly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is amazing, all of them are friendly and super helpful. The room service is tasty and fast and the massage options are wonderful.

We signed up for a sound healing session which was cancelled last minute. Nevertheless, we could book a massage appointment instead, so it was a good compromise.

I stayed only one day but the rooms with infinity pool view are absolutely amazing

Hidden Paradise Ubud truly lives up to its name. Nestled in a peaceful jungle setting surrounded by lush greenery, it offers the perfect escape while still being within easy reach of Ubud’s attractions. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the entire property was exceptionally well maintained. Waking up to the sounds of nature each morning made the experience even more special. What made our stay stand out was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. They genuinely made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with outstanding service and a beautiful atmosphere, I highly recommend Hidden Paradise Ubud. We would happily stay here again.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The only thing I liked about the hotel was the pool area and the monkeys freely roaming around, which are a gift of nature. Other than that, unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive. First of all, the hotel has a very serious soundproofing problem. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, noises from the hallway, and the loud disturbances throughout the night, making it almost impossible to rest. More importantly, on the first night, extremely disturbing and concerning incidents took place in the room next to ours. Unknown individuals were constantly entering and leaving the room, there was a strong smell of alcohol and drugs, and we heard screaming throughout the entire night. As a result, we did not feel safe and were forced to change our room. The following morning, the same woman came to the lobby holding a blood-stained towel. She had bandages on her arms, legs, and foot. She asked both the receptionist and other hotel guests for cash. Despite what appeared to be a very serious incident, the hotel management gave no explanation about how the situation had been handled, and at no point did they make us feel that guest safety was a priority. One of the most concerning aspects of this experience was that there was virtually no hotel staff available at night. Around 11:00 PM, we called the reception and were told that the reception was closed and no longer operating. This means that during the night there is no staff available other than a security guard. In a hotel where such serious incidents are taking place, it is completely unacceptable that there is no receptionist or manager available during the night. Because of everything we experienced, we repeatedly asked to speak with a manager. However, the only receptionist on duty kept telling us for three consecutive days that “the manager has not arrived at the hotel yet.

Отель ухоженный, чистый, уборку делали каждый день, постельное белье новое, воду пополняют, есть платный мини бар.

Запах гари из джунглей, видимо листья жгут из-за этого не могла открыть двери и спать без кондера. Нет зеркала в полный рост, дверь в туалете не закрывается, в душевой Лейка не исправна. В отеле вечером очень скучно. Подходит для пар.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut. Mit Gojek in nur einigen Minuten in der Stadt. Außerdem gibt es einen kostenlosen shuttleservice bin in die Stadt von ubud. Die Lage ist super wenn man Ruhe, Entspannung und einen kleinen Panorama Ausblick in den Jungle mag!.

Die Zeiten an dem der shuttleservice abfährt. Gerade für junge Leute die eventuell mal eher am späten Nachmittag raus wollen sind die Zeiten sehr ungünstig.
