Overall it is a good place to stay 😃 n a business trip, if the dining selections could be more various, that's a great plus and it does not mean it is bad, just hope to have more options to get.

This is one of the best hotel I ever been. For sure the best so far I tried in China. Brand new, luxurious,big and classy rooms, amazing bed, all equipments and nice furniture, staff extremely helpful (only English a bit to be improved :-)) and extremely friendly. A top notch gym (Tecnogym) and at the last floor….an incredible pool as per photo included in this review. If you really can stay in this Hotel, you will not regret and you will enjoy really a pleasant, classy and unforgettable journey. IHG Hualuxe Wuxi is really the No.1! Luca T

excellent breakfast, very varied, western+asian food, so you can balance in a good way.

The staff were superfriendly. Just sometimes they had difficulty in understanding my words (in English which is also not my mother tongue). Breakfast hall was really scenery with many delicious parts. The room where I stayed for four nights was very clean, the furniture were relaxing, accessories were almost complete, and the view to the street was vivid and amusing. So, I would overall rate my experience excellent!

Efficient, warm and professional welcome from the front desk staffs. Guest room very nice, comfortable bed & pillows. A wide variety choices for buffet breakfast! Good fitness center, indoor pool amazing, relaxing and very much enjoyable.

It was a very nice hotel, and the genuine smile could be felt on everyone's face, even with the masks on. Had a little problem with the room and it was given very promptly. Took the initiative to take responsibility. Very good facility, especially worth give a like for sky swimming pool.

The guest male bathroom in the lobby was overwhelmingly pungent of cigarette smoke.

I was there for a banquet but, upon arrival at the lobby, it was rather “classy” and had a very good welcoming experience. Staffs were pleasant and attentive and I was shown the direction to the ballroom on the 4th level. Directional signs were not very visible at the lobby. The ballroom was nice an tastefully appointed (along with the rest of the hotel). We had a 6 course dinner. The food was very mediocre but the service was “first class”. Would love to stay in the hotel in my next visit.

Great Hotel, Great Service. We have a very wonderful stay. Front Desk , Concierge, Chinese restaurant and restaurant for breakfast all staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thanks Jack Wang he make us feel like a home. He is a very knowledgeable and caring person. We definitely come back again.

This was a bit of a surprise given the TripAdvisor rating. Yes, it’s about 30 mins drive from the Wuxi Old town (a major tourist attraction), and yes the building has a bland architectural exterior, but otherwise... The foyer is huge with copious stone tiles and high quality furniture and fittings. Rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. On the downside, bathroom design means a late night shower spills light into the bed area - not great for a sleeping person. The po and gym are among the best I’ve seen and are on the top floor affording amazing views. Try the buffet dinner wow! Guests get 50% discount making the price about $US15. Everything is on offer here including complimentary Heineken, passable red and white wine and coke/sprite. Foods span Asian and European leaving a big problem... how do you stop?!? Overall... in the top 2% of hotels I’ve been in.

Visited Wuxi for work in June '19. Very luxurious hotel and great rooms. The only difficulty I had was when navigating to my room because of the design of the hotel. Otherwise it was faultless! Food in the hotel was also very nice. I recommend getting the noodles that they serve at the dinner buffet.

My wife and I were visiting friends in Wuxi. As they lived a distance out of the classical center of Wuxi we opted to stay at the Hualuxe which was not far from their home. Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised by the amenities of this hotel. We were greeted by very friendly staff and taken to a spacious, modern and extremely well appointed room. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The bed was extra king sized … what shall I call it? Emperor sized? Anyway it was perfect for a good night's sleep. We met our friends, some of their colleagues and their children in the buffet restaurant. For a set price you could help yourself to a wide range of well cooked, well presented food and good quality wines. The children were all happy with their choices too. Breakfast was more Chinese oriented but I had no problems finding the kind of food that I wanted. I was very happy with the experience and value for money, this was up there with the best of this kind of hotel that I've been to in my 6 years in China. If you are in Wuxi on business, this place is on the airport side and I would highly recommend it.

We just spend one night in the hotel but price/quality definitely worth it. We stopped at this hotel after spending the day visiting the lake nearby. Big pool and nice fitness room. All treadmills were facing the city. The dinner and breakfast buffet was pretty good. The staff is very polite and helpful. Only thing that surprised me was to find out that they still have smoking rooms which was the first one we got. Anyhow we got a non smoking once we ask for it to the main desk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

nice hotel with good service and customer oriention. Very polite and attentive staff. Big rooms with very good interior. Comfortable and clean. Food and drinks in the restaurant on good level. It's worth to stay there, if you didn't want to be in crowded city center

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the amenities are high end and plentiful, the tea area was a great bonus. TV channels included 4-5 in Enhlish. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food options and everything was very good. I really enjoyed the noodle soup. There is a huge mall within a short walk with lots of restaurants and food choices. I would happily stay here again!

The Hualuxe is certainly a luxury hotel from the materials used to build and decorate the property, to the delicacies served for meals, to the guest room linens. I had a VIP status so am not sure how representative my experience was but my corner room was enormous and well-designed. Plush bedding, pillow menu to chose your favourite fill, large bathtub (and bathroom), comfortable robes and large desk. Fruits and Chinese pastries awaited me in the room upon arrival and a delicious Wuxi plum cake and Yi Xing Black Tea were waiting in the evening. The Noodle Bar was delicious for lunch and I had a splendid, gourmet dinner with many local delicacies in a private room that also had a place for mah-jong and karaoke after dinner. Employees were friendly, helpful and very service-oriented. Only downsides were that the hotel, including guest room, was freezing cold (even when adjusting the air conditioner in the room) and no blow dryer provided.
