The property was well located, structurally beautiful, top notch cleanliness and furniture that’s modern and necessary. Also the fact that they were so considering, by providing coal, firelighters, and lighter. A clean and well maintained pool.🫱🏽‍🫲🏻👌 A working WiFi, DStv and streaming services.

Photographs are misleading. The property is away from the ocean. There is a row of houses directly in front of you and a main road thereafter and then a suburb of houses. There is very little sun and the property is cold in inclement weather. Host did not respond to all messages

I did like the location, the staff member Abrie was quite helpful and friendly. We appreciated the view.

I hated the terrible WiFi connection. I hated the fact that you couldn’t shower at any time as the guests had a timer so sometimes if you were out of the times the gyser was set on you would have to take a cold shower. I personally hated all the matress on the beds I found it to be hard an uncomfortable only the sofa on the far right was very comfortable. There was no smart tv only out dates TV’s with limited channel’s on DSTV which was very frustrating. I couldn’t even log into my Netflix account. There was no big pot to cook a meal for your family only small to medium pots. The microwave was huge and outdated. There were spider webs in the bathroom and under the beds I think her staff should clean better but they could only do this if there were brooms with a long stick & better mops. The owner should get wood for the fireplace and a screen in front of the fireplace else what’s the point of having a fireplace if you can’t use it.

Beautiful view, modern and clean. Would come here again anytime. The staff is really nice and so helpful, too. I forgot my watch at the apartment and they collected it and handed it over to a courier service. Thank you so much for that!

Very well appointed and newly renovated upmarket apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, large covered balcony and built in braai. Back door opens to a shared pool.

Building site next door with grinding and drilling from 8-5! Also noisy due to nearby roads. Should advise people of the building works in advance. Needs an air conditioner. There is a fan but it’s noisy and screeches in the night. No air flow in the flat as both front and back doors must stay closed at night.

We love Sunrise Bay and can't wait to come back!

Loved almost everything about our stay here. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook, even oil, which was a welcome touch. Beds were comfy & the pool was lovely to relax at after our day of sightseeing.

Lockable flyscreens on the doors would be great, especially as it gets a bit hot in January & it would have been nice to let the seabreeze in.

No washing machine, no aircon, fans weren’t enough. The property was nice but the building site next door would annoy a lot of people. 7am to 7Pm Monday to Friday.

Anything broken was stuck together with yellow electrical tape, not really a good look!! No information guide book detailing what is required to be done before departure, local restaurants, things to do or see etc

Although the ocean view was limited, the balcony still offered a wonderful sense of openness and an expansive feel.

Zentrale Lage und sehr geräumige Unterkunft. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Sehr gute Betten. Traumhaft schöner Blick über die Bay und Lagune.

Durch die Lage nahe de Strasse war es bei geöffnetem Fenster ziemlich laut. Die Poolsituation ist eher dürftig.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig, auch das Badezimmer war groß und alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Küche war vollständig ausgestattet, sodass wir problemlos selbst kochen konnten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Bett, das außergewöhnlich bequem war – wir hatten hier die besten Nächte unserer gesamten dreieinhalb Wochen in Südafrika. Außerdem liegt ein kleiner Supermarkt quasi direkt um die Ecke in einer kleinen Mall, was sehr praktisch war.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist weder zentral noch direkt am Strand, was uns nicht ganz überzeugt hat. Außerdem wirkt die Einrichtung eher schlicht und etwas lieblos, was aber Geschmackssache ist. Insgesamt handelt es sich um eine solide Ferienwohnung, die sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in Plettenberg Bay eignet.

Very clean, modern self-catering apartment, ideal for a family with 2 smaller children. Bathroom with shower and a lovely bathtub. Coffee, tea, milk and bottled water was very thoughtful.

There was an ironing-board but no iron. We were 3 adults, consisting of a couple and another adult friend. The pictures and description of the unit was mis-leading. There were no separate rooms. The tv-room, double bed and a bunker bed (ideal for children) were all in the same room. The pictures showed no bunker beds and I was expecting bedrooms. It was an awkward situation, I did not expect. If I knew there were no separate rooms and a bunker bed for the 3rd adult, I would never have chosen this unit.

Had no wifi to receive chk in details and phone numbers just rang for about 6 attempts when we called the property. room smelled smokey, curtains and mats were grubby. Lampshade skew, flusher behind toilet loose and skew. Vanity mounted to wall skew. No cushions set out on poolside furniture. No welcome and orientation. Woken up every day by furniture scraping in apartment above.

The place is clean and lovely. Just a beautiful place. Kids did not want to leave. It has everything you need and a bit more for your stay.

Neighboring houses were noisy, but quieted down later that evening. Note - No see view if one expected to see the sea and, one needs a car (Transport) to visit restaurants, etc.

The cooking oil, salt, and pepper were beneficial. Well done. The TV with working dstv with all channels we very good. Please invest in a smart TV in future then the guest can use their own credentials to watch.

Beautifully appointed, Spacious and clean. Felt very safe behind electric gates. End units have real fire Braais. Caretaker was a lovely young man and very helpful.

Beautiful apartment, roomy, bright, great situation and wonderful balcony. We were in the penthouse which is the whole length of the building and has it's own garage.

Lovely spacious spotlessly clean suite with all the self catering amenities you need.. Beautiful refreshing pool. Wonderful staff Abri was so helpful when the DSTV was not working and he got everything fixed up. Very comfortable large bed, lovely balcony with nice few and a super big shower. Close to beaches and restaurants.

Great place, Perfect for a long or short stay. It's a home away from home. Alicia and Abrie were just too great. Made our stay comfortable.

The GPS takes you to a different side of the entrance, and there was no answer or even a bell to ring. We were helped by a kind neighbour who told us to go to the other entrance on the next street.

Would have preferred undercover parking, but it was not a problem at all

When we checked in, initially, we were disappointed as the property had very clearly been advert as having a sea view and the only way I could see a scrap of sea was by standing on the wall at the edge of the terrace. However, the next day we were moved to a room which did have a sea view and this made our stay perfect!

Nothing, save the marketing being a little misleading about the sea view.

The host was responsive though only on email. The caretaker of the property was extremely helpful and attentive to the small things we needed.

Nothing, the place was amazing, close to the beaches. the closest beach was the best beach. we were able to walk from the property to the beach.

They're so thoughtful that even though it's a self-catering facility, they provided premium coffee capsules, milk, and olive oil.

My wife was bitten 4 or 5 times by what could only have been bed bugs.

The room was amazing. Very clean. The location is central to the mall, restaurants and the pubs. You can walk to basically anywhere. This was great because we didn't have a car. The decor is beautiful as well, not over-dressed but also not under-dressed.

The view was not what I was expecting. From the pictures it looked like it was facing nature but it tunes out it was just trees which were played in the yard which they took pictures of. There is a beautiful view of the beach but it was a bit obstructed by the trees🥲.
