The hospitality was very nice. Hondo was an amazing host
Breakfast choice was limited and not very appealing. No TV in the room
Our host Hondo did care perfectly for all our wishes, welcomed us personal, organized a great breakfast on the little rooftop restaurant. The rooms are clean, whole building cosy equipped, car parks safe on the ground without access from outside. We felt welcome and very well, even when we just stayed only one night.
Bon Accueil
Small boutique hotel with only a few rooms in Morcellement Beau Rivage, Tombeau Bay, offering a quiet, upmarket setting close to Port Louis and beautiful beaches like Le Goulet and Balaclava Jean Marc made booking effortless, helping with airport transfers and car hire before we even arrived Pamela and her whole team welcomed us like family from the very first moment Lovely courtyard and pool area surrounded by tropical plants, perfect for relaxing and mingling with other guests Spacious room with AC, fridge, desk, kettle, and a large wardrobe, plus a private seating nook outside Housekeeping team kept our room immaculate every day, with fresh towels and thoughtful little touches During our particular stay, the team organised special excursions and hosted a beach barbecue for us and other guests — a lovely, memorable touch, though we understand this was just for our stay and not offered to all guests Excellent restaurant with a different cuisine served daily (Mauritian, Indian, Chinese, Italian, seafood), with genuine care for dietary requirements. Executive Chef Hondo and his team ensured we enjoyed every meal, Breakfast & Dinner Rooftop terrace with stunning sunset views over the sea and a lovely cooling breeze Great atmosphere for combining work and holiday too — we noticed several other guests doing exactly that, with a calm setting well-suited to it Excellent value for money given the level of service, food, and personal attention we received The personal service and warm welcome here are exactly the kind of experience you don't find at the bigger hotels and resorts We feel like part of the family now and will definitely be returning
Nothing, however guests need to be aware of the following: If you're planning to visit sites in the south of the island, note that they're a fair distance away — actual travel time will vary depending on traffic, so build in some buffer Mauritians love their dogs, so expect to see friendly dogs around the neighbourhood — not an issue, just good to know in advance The bar and restaurant could be advertised a little more to guests — a menu or info card in the room would help everyone know what's on offer A few basic French phrases go a long way, even though most people speak English fluently
Friendly staff and great value definitely recommend

Care and concern by the Hotel when I forgot to carry money and my Credit Card from Kenya. They took care of the expenses, gave me rides, and was able to refund them at check out when I had sorted my problems out, on the 5th day.
Nothing
Majiteľ bol mily,ústretový priateľský. Vždy ochotný pomôcť. Požičal nam auto.
La gentillesse des hôtes .
I liked the customer care .the comfort of the room and the elegancy of the place plus of course swimming at my convenience. It was wow.
Nothing much cause hospitality is everything to me
the room was clean, and the staff very friendly
Very basic. Only one teaspoon. Only 2 500 ml bottles of water on day one. Nothing on other three days.
Rien
Stuff was very friendly
It is advertised as a Hotel and only to find out it’s a Guest House
Loved the friendly and warm atmosphere.
Excellent location. 5 minutes walk to main road to catch bus or a share taxi. 10 - 15 minutes away from Port Louis so this really is a great place to stay for peace and tranquility but with in easy access to main city or the highways to sight see. Whether you staying one night or four nights a week did the roof terrace with the hammock was a great way to enjoy the views and the pool a perfect spot to relax and chill. Friendly atmosphere and staff very attentive. Highly recommend.
We throughly enjoyed our stay
I stayed at Villa Alizée during a business trip and absolutely loved it. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is outstanding; always helpful and attentive. Special mention to Jean-Marc, the owner, who is genuinely friendly and very cool. The food is also delicious. Highly recommended!
This is the place to stay. Jean Marc and his staff really go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. It's very personalized. They know all their guests by name. Much better than the big chain hotels that totally lack character. The restaurant is fantastic! Absolutely the best place we ate on the whole island. We skipped lunch most days to save room for the dinners here. The sushi, the filet mignon, the seafood platter...and the local food too! The curries, grilled fish, and crab soup. The location is good. It's in a small neighborhood, right on the coast. Ten minutes drive from the city center of Port Louis. The views from the rooftop are awesome for sunsets. While we were there, some professional photographers went up there for shots of the sunsets over the sea.
The best thing about our stay, hands down, was the staff. John and his team are simply fantastic and took great care of us. They made sure we had everything we needed. John gave us some great suggestions on places to go, and the executive chef, Hondo, even gave us a cooking class! Our room was clean and comfortable, with air con, a refrigerator, a hot water kettle, desk, and large bureau for our clothes and luggage. The property is a short drive from Port Louis, and there is a fantastic view of the city at sunset from the rooftop deck. Proximity to the ocean also means nice breezes, especially in the restaurant and on the top deck. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was fantastic and the sous chefs were also very generous with their cooking knowledge. We were very sad to leave, but John even made that easier by arranging our airport transfer.
The place quiet and peaceful
Everythings good except can you change the curtains and put like blackout one In the morning its a bit annoying too much light in the room But overall good
Rien.
Great venue, freindly staff and food value for money
Nothing really bothering us
Nulla

The climb upward for breakfast
The food was great, prepared by a very experienced chef.
Location at the centre of island. You can move north or south easily. Good access to the motorway.
Near to the beach but no beach view. Breakfast was just good enough. It can be made a bit more elaborate. Shower was not comfortable. Too small cubicle and kept struggling for hot water supply. Water pressure also too low for a good shower.
The villa is absolutely spectacular in-terms on opulent looks. It is in an amazing location access to basically everywhere and everything you might need. There is a mall not far from there has KFC, MC, Nandos you name it... There are Taxi's available and the host has cars to hire incase you want to drive yourself. Absolute recommend the place and looking forward to going back.
Food was exceptional. The chef was new but did a good job.
For my purposes it was very good. If I were to do tourist things it would have been slightly out of the way.
It was a great one
Cozy
The building was beautiful and everyone was kind.
Wonderful service, amazing food, surely all the creature comforts make this a great place to stay
Location somewhat removed
This place is perfect for a relaxing start, or end to your stay in Mauritius. It is quiet, peaceful and with the best and most genuin staff. They are so helpful, friendly and present, but not too present if one could say. The bed is comfy, aircon works well, just a short drive from the more hectic city center of Port Luis. I really recommend this place, and look forward to next time I visit the.
Great staff.
Ants in the room and the location is less than ideal.
Clean and comfortable
Quite remote location taxi needed to get to town.
Hospitality exceptional, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and clean. I would certainly recommend it to family and friends.
I wish we had a la carte breakfast
Owner is friendly and helpful
Location is not convenient, no nearby restaurants without getting a taxi ride. Even Taxi driver has a hard time finding this place.
Nothing at all ,the villa is not for international guests..
The neighborhood is all wrong. The beach is a 13-minute drive. I couldn't stay there as per my booking, I checked out on my second day..
Jean is very Nice man, helpful. Jennifer lovely lady They took well care of us. Oliver We met him once but naught man. Our stay is very Good.
Only one thing mising is Tv in room.
Small hotel but very friendly staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble, ask for anything and they helped you breakfast and dinner were excellent
Nothing
Food and services is good.
Location is not near in most shops and restaurants you have to use taxi or rent a car for activities
Customer service/staff. Safety, plentiful parking. Customary cocktails and snacks at night.
Location, impossible to get anywhere without a car, but I was aware of it beforehand.
Friendly staffs - Breakfast were ok. The bedroom looks lovely however the bed is a bit hard though. Love the surrounding internal giving me much spiritually peaceful reading book. Would love to go back again
During sleeping hours, the night light shone out brightly that I could see the bedroom easily. I put my sleeping mask on to ease my frustration. Suggest to put blind in the bathroom to minimise its brightness.
Oliver as the host was excellent and took care of me very well. Breakfast and dinner are very good. No complains there. The price per night is reasonable so that's a plus. Aircon working very well and bed is nice. Shower is nice and hot. But remember to bring your own toiletries. There is nothing else provided. Wifi is very good.
As other reviewers have said - there will be dogs barking at night. I have no issue as I grew up in a village. But I can understand some people will be bothered by the incessant barking while they try to sleep. The location actually is not near the beach and not remotely accessible. This place is nowhere near any amenities - so please be aware of this. For the price point, I can't complain. The mini fridge was not working and throughout the stay was still not fixed/replaced. A big oversight. There was a nice kettle but no utensils to eat some last minute supper. Not a big deal, just saying.
Shower had no hot water, they never change towels and bedsheets
Recycling of beddings
Room was clean and comfortable
Noisy and barking dogs
Villa Alizee was fantastic. Oliver and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious - they even had it ready when we overslept. What we loved most was how they made us feel at home, not just like guests. The rooms were comfy, and the service was top-notch. It's a great place if you want a relaxing stay with personal touches. I forgot to tell Oliver it was our honeymoon, and without even mentioning it he planned our room to be decorated on last night. Small things like that go along way. We'd definitely go back!
