Our experience at the Residence inn by Marriott has been fantastic. Our Bartender Daniel provided us with amazing delicious cocktails and was very attentive to all our needs. He made sure our food was delivered promptly and displayed the highest level of professionalism. I would definitely return to this establishment.

This is my second time staying at the Sunny Isles Residence Inn and it was perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the valet service was great, and the front desk staff are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. I will make this my go-to spot for future stays. It was lovely!!!

We have stayed at this hotel for the past couple years and would highly recommend it. The hotel is in an excellent location, is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The manager, Kevin Waldstein and his staff go above and beyond to ensure the guests are having an enjoyable stay which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The hotel is quiet at night and the breakfast features a nice selection of food. We look forward to coming back again next year.

The hotel is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. All the staff are incredibly attentive and provide an excellent level of customer service. The rooms are very well maintained, and nothing is ever missing — everything is simply impeccable. All the included services, such as breakfast, the beach, and the cocktails, are truly appreciated. The valet parking service is also extremely efficient, and all the valets go above and beyond to take care of the guests. A special mention to Hella, Cheyenne, and Maggie for their kindness, attentiveness, and for always listening throughout my entire stay. The front desk team is extremely efficient and always very friendly. At breakfast, Jessica was absolutely lovely. The hotel manager is very present, extremely pleasant, friendly, and always available. He makes sure that everything is perfect, and I truly want to thank him for that. Bardzo duży i przestronny pokój, dobrze wyposażony, mega wygodne łóżka. Obsługa uprzejma, bardzo pomocna. Dostaliśmy pokój dużo wcześniej i podobnie było przy wymeldowaniu. Dobre 3h na check-in oraz check-out. To docenić należy bezwzględnie. Można zostawić bagaże i pójść na plażę nawet w dniu wymeldowania. Lokalizacja super, na plażę 3 minuty, w okolicy CVS, Publix, Starbucks, knajpki, całkiem niedaleko TJ Maxx ale także luksusowe sklepy odzieżowe. Bezpiecznie, czysto, przyjemnie.

Śniadania typowo amerykańskie, słabe ale przez 3 max. 4 dni da radę pojeść. Niestety pokoje wymagają renowacji. Owszem, łóżka super wygodne, pokój przestronny, kuchnia wyposażona ale czystość pozostawia trochę do życzenia. Z wierzchu wygląda ok ale ogólnie niedokładnie sprzątnięte. W łazience ok choć ręczniki nie schną a drzwi przesuwne nie zapewniają intymności. Szafa trochę rozklekotana zaś kanapa do wyprania, tapicerka dawno nie miała mycia. Najmocniejszy minus to brak parasola plażowego - bez niego nie dasz rady. Za to po co komu wózek golfowy...?

$45 per day extra for valet parking as the only option to park without much trouble. You also have to pay extra for the umbrella in the beach (even though chairs and towels are included).

The Residence Inn has one of the best spots in the area. Maggie was our Sales Manager for the group booking and room block and was amazing! Nick check me in specifically and was super patient as it had been a long day of travel delays for me. The food is TOP NOTCH on site. Very inviting atmosphere for the whole property and the rooms were quieter than I had expected. Current Ambassador level that will absolutely continue to stay at this property when in the area.

We were truly impressed with this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service throughout our stay. The restaurant served delicious food, and the bar staff was welcoming and friendly. The complimentary breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection of fresh, high-quality options. The hotel also provides complimentary beach chairs and towels, and we loved receiving two free drinks each day—a wonderful added perk! For the price we paid, this hotel was an incredible value. What stood out the most, however, was the housekeeping staff. They were the best we’ve ever experienced, even compared to much more expensive hotels. They didn’t just tidy the room—they thoroughly cleaned it every single day, including wiping down all the surfaces and paying attention to every detail. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable room, nice breakfast, rootop pool area with a bar inside. Reasonably close to the beach if you’re OK to walk a little.

The room (1807) was a bit noisy during the night, with clanking sounds heard every now and then. This was presumably from the elevator machinery, but better sound proofing could be done. Also, I honestly couldn’t understand how to operate the coffee maker. Probably quite simple, but the instructions were difficult to read on the inside of the machine. A Nespresso machine would have been better. Thankfully there were coffee dispensers available before breakfast hours for an unashamed caffeine addict like myself. Finally, I wrote a message through Booking .com when making the booking earlier in the day (I needed a new hotel last minute when my flight was cancelled) and the reply came a couple of hours after check-out..

The location was absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and smelled nice. For the view and the location the price of the room was very reasonable. The service & amenities were top tier with the infinity pool as well as the drinks offered daily along with easy access to the beach. The customer service and concierge were very nice and provided exceptional service. I will definitely be back again. It was an amazing place to relax, no noise, no distractions, just comfort.

Three things about this hotel….. 1. Daniel at the bar has been here every day during my stay. The man is a pro with hospitality and nightlife. He might as well double as a concierge. The man is an asset to this establishment. 2. This hotel has the best chicken wings in the history of chicken wings in the entire country. You want chicken wings? Just come here and order some. Marriott would be a fool to lose whoever is behind those glorious wings. 3. The front desk staff is so gentle and shows so much grace and compassion to their guests. I saw a lot of elderly individuals coming to stay at this hotel and instead of showing any type of frustration with them, the front desk staff took their time and ensured that each of their guests were well cared for with whatever issue they were having.

I had a great experience at the bar. Daniel the bartender was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. His customer service is top notch. I enjoyed my time here at the bar.

I made a reservation for this hotel on May 4, 2026, with a scheduled check in date of June 3, 2026. On the morning of my check in, at 9:08 AM, I received an email saying my reservation had been canceled. When I called the hotel, the male front desk agent told me the reservation was canceled because the card on file could not be charged. No one called me or gave me a chance to provide a different form of payment before canceling my stay. I have stayed at many Marriott properties, and I have never had a reservation canceled the same day without any attempt to contact me first. I use an Apple Card, which can change numbers because it is a virtual card. I was fully able to provide a valid payment method, but the staff did not try to work with me or help resolve the issue. I also spoke with the General Manager, who was unable to offer any real solution. This situation was extremely stressful and disappointing. I am six months pregnant and was left trying to find another place to stay on the same day I was supposed to arrive. The way this was handled felt unprofessional, careless, and completely below the standard I expect from Marriott. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this property.

Great hotel in a great location with a rooftop pool and excellent views of the area. The staff was very friendly, especially Gerard at the pool restaurant/bar. He was very attentive and took the effort to get to know guests and make them feel welcome.

We had a wonderful experience at the Sunny Isle Beach Residence Inn. Excellent facilities and outstanding staff led by their General Manager Kevin Waldstein. Everyone on staff was highly professional. Hotel was near capacity with high attendance at breakfast. Staff kept the buffet stocked and were quick to clear tables to accommodate guests. If my travels bring me back to FLL I will be sure to book another stay at this property. .

Ocean view on 9 is the best part of the hotel in my opinion. In addition Gerald (the bartender) is an amazing person to speak with, very respectful and professional…plus the drinks he makes are incredible, definitely recommend coming here!!

Getting a great smoothie and chatting with Gerald was the highlight of the hotel. Was looking forward to sitting by the bar table and chatting with him while sipping on a great drink. Amazing service.

No me gusto que me cobraron un recargo adicional del $110 que fueron descontados automáticamente de mi tarjeta de crédito, y cuando llamamos a pedir explicaciones nos dicen que es un cargo obligatorio por uso de las playas, carrito de carga,y sombrillas de playa que nunca usamos por qué en ningún momento nos explicaron eso, si van a cobrar algo, por favor tiene el tiempo de explicar cuando uno llega a alojarse.

My husband and I recently had a wonderful travel experience at the Residence Inn (Sunny Isles), and I can confidently say it was one of the best trips I’ve taken. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable from start to finish. From the breakfast to the happy hour was thoughtfully planned, and the pool area let us relax. What truly made the trip exceptional was the manager, Kevin Waldstein. He was professional, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. His positive attitude and strong organizational skills ensured that everything ran seamlessly. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. Overall, it was a fantastic trip with unforgettable memories, and I would highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Sunny Isles to anyone looking for a well-managed and enjoyable travel experience.

This was a very unpleasant stay from the very beginning. I didn’t receive the room I reserved and the room I received was dirty and small. There was bird feces all over the balcony. The valet retrieval messaging service displayed on ticket does not work, the front desk later tells us that it doesn't work and it took another 20 minutes to retrieve our car and we were late for our dinner reservations. The bathroom body wash bottle was nearly empty and never replenished. The bathroom pocket door has a wooden hole to open from the inside and was very uncomfortable. Lastly, the manager Radmila Mitovic is has no empathy and lacks basic customer service. One of our worst experiences.

Remarkable My stay at this hotel was being expectations. It was so many things to do without spending additional money. My room had a full fridge, half stove and nice microwave and fully furnished with everything else you need to cook or warm your food. They had games, social hour and so much more like renting bikes for free. Me and my husband needed a vacation so we chose that specific spot for his birthday and did they show out for him. We were just out done with the service that they provided for us. Also the Aesthetics in this gorgeous facility was beyond beautiful. From the walk in the front door to each floor to the space that’s provided for different activities. I can’t wait to go back. Last but not least, that VIEW!! I asked my husband can we do another week, he didn’t say no he said we can come back so I was okay with that.

Everything about my stay at this hotel was beyond excellent. They accommodated me in every way, including an upgraded room just for asking. We enjoyed very much the rooftop area which has the pool on the 9th floor with a superbe flow of relaxation, view and delicious cocktails, The included, copious breakfast by the pool or inside dining/meeting area is top notch!
