Getting back up when you go down to the main square , there are many steps to climb and it's very easy to get lost

We had a very pleasant stay at Dar Yakout. The hotel is in a quiet location with a beautiful setting, and our room was spacious and comfortable. It was also easy to reach most places on foot. One useful tip is to ask the hotel for directions when you arrive, as following the sat-nav can take you on a much longer route up the steps. There is a convenient shortcut that the hotel can point out.

The only minor issue was some noise from the plumbing just before sunrise, so light sleepers may find it useful to bring earplugs.

Sitio muy recomendable. Agradable, limpio, muy bien situado y con un desayuno muy bueno. Pero lo mejor, el trato del personal.

Pas de parking à côté… aussi l’emplacement un peu difficile surtout pour les enfants et les personnes âgés. J’ai ajouté un extra pour un lit de plus et j’ai eu un lit gonflable !!!

Très beau Riad, décoré avec goût avec une belle terrasse offrant une très belle vue sur Chefchaouen. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. Tout le personnel était au petit soin pour nous.Le propriétaire du Riad nous a emmené à 6 h du matin à la gare pour s’assurer sur que nous ne rations pas notre bus . Très belle représentation de l’hospitalité marocaine.Nous recommandons vivement.

Quand on a un bébé surtout contacté l hôtel pour vous orienter pour éviter les escaliers il y a un raccourci et aussi vs aidez pour les bagages

Overall its a good loctation next to the waterfalls section. You will get a view of the mountainside for the morning breakfast which Omar is very passionate about making your breakfast special

They did have construction going on when we stayed there. Im sure im complaining about a temporary issue, but it was something that stuck out significantly with the drilling in the walls all day. I know it has to happen at some point, just unfortunate that it happened while we were staying there

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cet appartement. Il est très propre, bien aménagé et très confortable. La localisation est idéale, proche des commerces, de la médina et du port. Un grand merci à Zouhair le propriétaire qui est d'une gentillesse et d'une serviabilité incroyable! Très réactif et disponible à tout moment de la journée et de la nuit. Check in à 2h du matin au lieu de 22h dû au retard de notre avion (encore désolé...). Je recommande cette location à 100%

Accueil très chaleureux du personnel qui se pli en 4 pour vous faire plaisir et rendre service - chambre climatisée, spacieuse et confortable décorée avec goût dans le style typique des riads - petit déjeuner délicieux et très copieux.

Distance importante entre le parking et le riad mais une personne peut vous aider à porter les bagages sur demande à l'hôtel.

Staff was incredibly helpful. We met an owner as well, who was super friendly. The price is really good for how convenient the location is. The AC worked really well. The view from the roof is really nice - we had tea there every night.

Camera enorme e magnificamente arredata, davvero tipica. Colazione ottima, staff estremamente accogliente. Il proprietario è stato davvero gentile e ha voluto scambiare qualche parola con tutti i clienti. Ci teneva davvero e non è stata una mera formalità. Colazione ottima.

Location and breakfast

Hôtel joliment décoré situé dans une rue calme de la médina, non loin de la rivière, lieu animé et recherché lors des chaudes journées. Il est tout près également du sentier qui mène au point de vue sur la ville. La place principale se trouve à 5 minutes. Emplacement un peu difficile d’accès avec les valises, mais Nouredine est venu nous chercher et nous a aidé à les porter car nombreuses marches (en descente ou montée selon le lieu de rendez-vous choisi), idem pour le retour. A notre arrivée, on nous a montré la chambre que nous avions réservée et aussi une autre chambre. Notre choix s’est porté sur cette autre chambre qui correspondait plus à nos goûts. Un grand merci pour ce changement. Chambre spacieuse, claire, confortable, et très propre. Décoration simple et jolie. Très bon petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse bien aménagée, particulièrement agréable, avec superbe vue sur la montagne Accueil sympathique

Alojamiento bonito, muy cerca de Ras El Ma, en plena medina. La habitación estaba limpia y contaba con todo tipo de comodidades.

Que había que subir escaleras para ir a la habitación y para ir a la terraza para desayunar, aunque es habitual en los riads.

Staff were super friendly, they prepared a delicious breakfast and I'd defs come again. Right in the heart of the Blue City.

When we arrived a very young and inexperienced receptionist gave us a different room than we had booked and didn't care to admit that their system was at fault, no matter how much we showed him our booking of a double room he insisted we have a twin room with two beds. This wasn't a big deal but the attitude was not appropriate for the situation and he said the hotel was full and couldn't give us another room when we could see clearly that it was entirely empty...

Una experiencia maravillosa en este riad de Chefchaouen. El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, las habitaciones estaban limpias y cómodas, y la decoración tradicional marroquí le daba un encanto especial. La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer la medina y disfrutar de la belleza de la ciudad azul. El desayuno estuvo delicioso y el ambiente era muy tranquilo.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially Mourad. He and his colleague went above and beyond to help us carry our many large bags, and we were happy to tip them for their excellent service. The breakfast was freshly prepared, and the view from the breakfast area was stunning. The hotel was beautifully decorated and peaceful at night, providing the perfect environment for a restful and relaxing stay.

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the parking area, and larger vehicles cannot access the parking lot. As a result, you may need to walk approximately 10 minutes from the main street to reach the hotel. There are also many stairs to climb on the way to the hotel, which was quite challenging for us. We were travelling with our 3-year-old son and my elderly mother, who is not able to walk long distances comfortably. Carrying luggage while navigating the stairs made the journey especially difficult.

Breakfast was delicious, best breakfast we had in Morocco. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were exceptionally nice.

The walk to get to the Dar was hard after a long day of traveling. They do come down to help with the bags for a small fee (it’s totally worth it). Once you do the walk once you can easily find your way back on sightseeing days.

Chambre assez petite sans rangement adéquat faute de place

Lovely riad with great staff that was very helpful for all of my questions and needs.

It was not easy to reach from the taxi location but if you ask the staff, they will help you with your bags to and from the taxis.

L’accueil chaleureux et très attentioné de tous les membres du personnel. Saïd est un hôte expérimenté et il a été très sensible à nos besoins. Son Dar est impeccable à tous les niveaux : propre, raffiné, de grande qualité et situé au coeur de la médina. Sa magnifique terrasse, où on nous sert le petit-déjeuner et le dîner (délicieux), donne sur les montagnes, la médina et la mosquée espagnole…le rêve:). Nous devions quitter aux petites heures du matin et Saïd a fait le nécessaire pour que tout se passe bien pour nous. Grand merci! Si nous revenons à Chefchaouen, nous revenons au Dar Yakout!

Bel hébergement en haut de la Médina de Chefchaouen, à 5 minutes de la place principale. Très propre, décoration simple parfaitement dans l'esprit de la ville. Accueil sympathique de tout le personnel et du gérant. Très belle terrasse sur la montagne et petit déjeuner exceptionnel (merci à la dame qui s'occupe de le préparer).

Location was fine, breakfast was good.

Room was small, shower flooded the bathroom, bed was hard.

The room wa splendidly beautiful in a traditional Moroccan style. It was definitely one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. The staff were amazing. They tried to help us the best they could and provided us with great hospitality so we truly felt at home there. There was a minor problem with the heating system — AC wasn’t working for the heating, so it was freezing in the room due to the cold temperatures outside. The staff provided us with extra warm blankets and a radiator, which was super comfortable. The real gem of this place is the rooftop with a view of the whole city and the Rif mountains — it was the perfect start of the day, having our breakfast with such a landscape before our eyes. Breakfast was also traditional, diligently served with delicious pastries and a variety of different beverages.

The only drawback of this place was a bathroom — it didn’t have any lowering or screen to separate the shower from the rest of the place, so everything got really wet. This could be improved, but otherwise this was a fantastic stay!

La ubicación es perfecta. Y la decoración del lugar muy acorde con la ciudad. El personal es amabilísimo y la verdad es que fueron muy colaboradores.

Creo que el sistema que tienen de ducha en el baño necesita mejorar. No tiene mampara y tampoco la inclinación suficiente. Todo se lleva de agua e incluso inunda un poco la habitación.

This was a great place to stay. Located high up in Chefchaouen, Dar Yakout is a really nice, welcoming riad. The room was nicely fitted out and very spacious. Breakfast was really nice and copious, served on the top floor terrace with a nice view over Chefchaouen. The staff were really friendly and helpful, even providing us with a room for the entire day on the day we left (one of us was not feeling well and they let us sleep all day in a spare room). We were very grateful for the care and assistance provided by the staff. The dar closed after we left to undergo a fill refit over a period of three months. We wish them well and a successful re-opening in April.

Some noise from random wild dogs but in fairness an issue to the area not the hotel. Not a location for those who struggle with fitness as a hard climb with travel bags. Toilet smelt weird.

Die Lage ist sehr schön in der Nähe zu Ras el Ma. Parkplatz ist gut erreichbar. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Der Gastgeber kümmert sich darum den Aufenthalt so komfortabel wie möglich zu machen.

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is incredible! So tasty and a beautiful area to sit and enjoy it. We loved the design of the Riad, it is very authentic and the details around the property really add to the experience.

The property is absolutely stunning. Perfect in every way. Beautifully furnished, centrally located, easy to access, spacious, warm (during winter), clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. The outside of Dar Yakout is like an Instagrammer’s dream, so pretty and photogenic. The breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace that has sweeping views of Chefchaouene. We thought we’d need a local tour guide, but it was really easy to navigate to everything, that we just used google maps, with Dar Yakout as our starting point. I highly recommend Dar Yakout.

We did request a kettle for our room, so we could boil water, and the staff were quick to support our request. It really is a perfect place.

因為我們旅行兩星期，住宿難免會洗一點衣服，但是員工要求我們不准洗衣服，否則會被罰款，這對於一個旅行者來說很不友好

Dar Yakout was a gorgeous find in the heart of the Medina. Our room was stunning and the staff were incredibly helpful. The balcony is a lovely spot for meals.

While we had a great experience, the hotel is very high up in the Medina and involves a lot of stairs. Anyone with mobility issues may have a difficult time.

It was a beautiful riad, so Moroccan and Chefchaouen-ish. Location was very good for exploring. Stunning interior.

Отель удобно расположен, недалеко от входа в пешеходную зону. Легко найти. Очень красивый снаружи. Быстро заселили. Помогли поднять чемоданы. Большой номер.

Отель явно не соответствует своим звездам. Нет халатов, тапочек, шампуня, бальзама, зубных принадлежностей. Нет в номере воды (бутилированной)-и это 4 звезды? Очень холодно в номере, кондиционер работал только на охлаждение. Очень маленькая ванная комната. Очень бедный завтрак. Два дня завтрак был одним и тем же-одно варёное яйцо, маленький стакан апельсинового сока (пакетированного! С учётом кучи апельсинов в стране), не было овощей (даже элементарно огурцы/помидоры), никакой нарезки мясной (хотя бы ветчины/колбасы), 0.33 воды, хлеб, 1 круассан, одна пресная лепешка, немного джема, масла и сыра (наподобие творожного), всё.
