What a find! Loved the layout, comfy bed. Modern and everything needed for a business stay. Also very secure for a solo female traveller.

Oven wasn’t the cleanest and fridge door needs to be double checked it closes properly.

Fantastic central location, clear comms. The bed was very firm which is far better than being too soft, but was certainly an adaptation. Something for some to be aware of. Aircon was good. Everything was clean, new, and well looked after. Parking was easy for us, got one of the four spaces straight away. 2pm checkin is earlier than many places and was appreciated. Check in and out is easy as code to the door is given half hour before check-in, so it's all contactless. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

There were 3 different incredibly strong smelling air fresheners / pot pouri in the room. We placed them outside as cleaners were working elsewhere and they got taken away. No harm done but my wife is autistic and it really was an extreme smell. Artificial and cheap smelling, in my opinion. The only slight detraction on an excellent stay. We got a bit of a 'threat' about parking at very short notice too. All comms were via booking.com other than I suddenly got an sms saying pay immediately or get fined at like 9:30 at night. I'd have appreciated a payment link up front to use once I'd parked, or a bit more grace to pay post trip. I'd agreed to it, but it felt aggressive. Maybe we'd pissed off the host already with the air fresheners I don't know! Hah.

The space was clean and well laid out.

We couldn't figure out how to do a 'dry only' cycle on the washer and couldn't figure out the microwave. We read the instructions but maybe the owners can figure out a way to make it easier??

Went to car park they recommended £40 per night Then tried to charge me $15 per night parking when stated it was$10! Wasted half a day waiting to get into accommodation.

Location perfect for train station and a short walk across the river to main attractions. The property was a good size and had all I needed for a short stay. Kept clean and tidy.

Not much to dislike to be honest.

Amazing location

I’ve stayed here twice and both times there were problems. First time I had only a hand towel. Just one. This time only one large bath towel. Both times it was booked for two people and both times once I complained I was given the code to the storage room to get my own replacements. This time I went in and was told to get it from the “blue bags”. Once I pulled a few towels out I realised they were dirty and wet and one had blood stains on it I’d touched them. I was told that even though this wasn’t good I was to climb over the bags and search inside a trolley. That also had no towels. Just really bad simple thing that has happened twice. Will never stay again sadly as touching other people’s dirty towels should never ever be a thing a paying guest is supposed to do. Gross stains on bed sheets. The bathroom had hair piled in a corner and the hob doesn’t work so if you want to make food you have to do it on one plug in heater so for two people very difficult. Oh and when I complained I was told they wouldn’t charge me for parking as compensation, even though this is t a clear charge before you go and you’d have thought all this would have maybe wanted them to give more. Absolutely dampened our weekend and upset with myself for giving them a second chance.

Excellent position. Parking was good value as NCP down the road charged £6 per hour! Spotlessly clean.

Finding only one dining chair was a shock. This was remedied after a few hours. Having to look up cooker instructions online was inconvenient. The bed head board fell off. The switches on the shower were intermittent and sometimes difficult to get started. Having a clock that was not functioning suggested lack of attention to detail. The downstairs space was very cramped.

There was dust, the bedding had visible stains, the shower was broken, the shower door was damaged and there was hardly any toilet roll provided.

The location was excellent

There was a power outage on the first morning at around 7:30am which resulted in us needing to go out and buy breakfast when we had prepared to cook it ourselves using the facilities. We contacted the number provided and were advised that we could use the facilities in another apartment to which they provided the code and they would get someone out to fix the power outage that morning. When we went to enter this apartment it turned out to be occupied which was mortifying! We contacted them again to advise of this and they then stated that they were filling booked, therefore we would need to purchase our breakfast elsewhere and they would refund the cost for our inconvenience. We were out for the morning but had to chase twice for an update on when the issue had been resolved so we could return to a property with power. We messaged again asking for an update at 11:36am as we were told someone would be there in the morning. We got a replay saying that they were checking. We then had to chase again at 12:50 as there had been not further update. At 13:08 we were informed that they were still waiting for an update and they we may have to be moved to another apartment. At this time we had headed back to the apartment and when we got back at around 13:30 the power was back on. Following us checking out, we messaged again regarding the refund of the money spent on breakfast along with the receipt and requested compensation for the inconvenience and interruption to our stay. We were advised that we would be refunded the balance for our breakfast the first morning and also the £20 parking fee. We accepted this and waited for the money to be returned to us, a total of £42.53. After 10days we still had not received the refund, so we messaged them again asking why we had not yet received the agreed refund amount and this was ignored.

The location was excellent and really ideal for being close to the centre, which made getting around very convenient. The only issue was being next door to a loud pub, and the bedroom skylight being positioned directly under the beer garden, which did affect the overall comfort at times. Overall though, the convenience of the location stood out strongly, with just those noise-related points impacting the experience. Hosts were fair and agreed to discount parking which was very much appreciated.

It felt quite cramped and not very comfortable overall, with a tired decor that made the space feel dated and not particularly well equipped for a comfortable stay. The shower door did not close fully, which resulted in excess water spreading into the bathroom area, which was inconvenient and made the space harder to use safely. In addition, the bedroom appeared dusty in places, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness. I am sharing this so it can be reviewed and improved for future guests.

Great location and very quiet.I didn't receive check in details but a quick call to Richard and this was promptly rectified,so wasn't an issue.I would recommend for a short break.

Amazing location, walking distance from train station as well as city center. The place was spotless clean. and very comfy. Good Internet speed, I conducted my work sessions without any issues. The place is very well equipped for a comfortable stay.

If only it had a couple of washing pods to use with the washing machine, it would have saved me a trip to the store (I am always happy when I find some in the places I rent for surprise washes I need to do during my stays)

The location was great and within walking distance of the centre. However, it was next to a lively sports bar and so was very noisy. It was lovely to stay in a very clean apartment which was very good value for the money. Also being able to park overnight for £10 in front of the property was very convenient.

Wow where to start 1 - No wardrobe or coat hangers only some ineffective hooks on the wall 2 - No body wash or shampoo in the shower - apartment overview says 'free toiletries' 3 - No complimentary powder or liquid for washing machine (as in all other places we have stayed on this trip) 4 - Dump bin located a short distance from our unit door resulting in many flies in the unit 5 - No terrace as noted in the apartment overview 6 - No city view as noted in the apartment overview unless looking at the brick building next door qualifies for this 7 - Inner courtyard view noted in the apartment overview - never found this 8 - Safety lock box - spent three days dealing with the 'owner' how to get this opened as the previous room user had left locked - he kept bouncing backed to the 'maids' - they couldn't fix and advised the owner would come and fix - never did 9 - Air purifiers noted in the apartment overview - what are these I wonder unless opening the door covers this 10 - Walk through right of way to the flats at the back of the property plus access to the rear of the food business next door who have all their dump bins behind a fence at the end of the walkway creating another environment for flies - the walk through was particularly active on occasions impinging on our privacy as they usually looked in our window 11 - The unit WAS NOT serviced on any of the days that we stayed nor was another one a couple down from us when we spoke to the couple who were renting that one. we were fortunate to be on site on two occasions when the service staff arrived and asked to swap our used towels however again there was NO effort to service the unit 12 - No patio as noted in apartment overview 13 - No laptop safe as noted in apartment overview

Great location, apartment was small but ok for 2 people.

The property has only 4 car spots out the front which you cannot book and they advertised on booking.com to go 80m down the road to NCP parking and the cost would be 26 pound per 24 hours. We had to go to NCP parking and the cost was actually 40 pound per 24 hours so our parking costs was 80 pound instead of 52 pound the host said it would cost. I understand the property cannot control this charge but i would hope the site knows the costs better than tourist visiting so more people do not get caught out. Be aware of parking costs

Excellent location for rail, buses and city centre. Everything you need for a short stay, pleasant modern decor.

Due to the units basically being situated in the beer garden of the neighbouring pub it is extremely noisy on a summer evening, even with doors and windows closed. The property is very dark as there is little natural light but that’s not a big issue for a short stay. There was also a strong drain odour from the kitchen sink, which I’m sure is fixable.

Wasn't expecting it to be over 2 floors so that was a nice surprise. Great selection of TV channels rather than just free view

Bed wasn't the comfiest, I woke up with neck and back pain. Wall going up the stairs had some damage as did the bedding. Text states that you get '1 litre of milk' instead we got 10 of the little milk pods which was fine but that's not what comes across on the text so perhaps that needs rewording.

Booked and paid for two bedroom apartment. Apartment only had one bedroom. Apartment was small, no linen provided for our daughter until requested. Apartment is next to a pub so was very noisy.

Nothing- the pub might be a bit loud (World Cup) but we were watching it too so didn’t bother us. The planters outside the apartments need some greenery in

Bathroom needed a little bit more cleaning but the rest of the place was clean otherwise.

Location quiet but easy and varied access to York Centre by walking left or right. Bed mattress comfy, shower strong and hot. Kitchen fully equipped, comfy couch & big TV.

Tall people should note that the ceiling is very low on one side of the bed. I’m only 170cm but was worried I’d hit my head getting up in the dark night (having said that, I never did).

We had only a tiny roll of toilet paper on arrival, literally the tiniest amount, and no spare ones. Contacted both numbers available and received a response a few hours later, when we were already out, saying the cleaner must have ran out of it (!!!!!) and to look at a staff cupboard I believe for tissues. We were out so by the time we came back that cupboard was locked but to be honest this is not acceptable. There’s a Sainsbury’s down the road, they should have bought emergency toilet rolls before check in. I work in hospitality and would not dream of living a guest that paid £140 for an overnight stay without toilet paper. This is essential!!!!!!!! What happens if we arrived late when shops are closed? The shower leaks everywhere so need to be looked at. Also very low ceiling upstairs so not good if you are tall!

It is in a good location, although adjoining the beer garden of the pub makes it noisy. The kitchen area is very good and there’s a full sized fridge.

Noisy between rooms and the pub; A/C remote didn’t work (when I advised management, I was told to go to another apartment to check the remote). Requests to drop baggage early were not answered and the email with check-in instructions didn’t arrive until after 2 pm.

I've stayed here many times as it is very close to my office. The apartments are clean, well presented and comfortable. Basic cooking amenities are provided which makes for a much more comfortable stay. The entry to the apartments is managed by a simple code which is text before the check in time.

Nothing relating to the rooms. The pub garden out the back (Nags head) can get a little noisy at times when the weather is nice, there is a major sporting event, or around September when the sea of students arrive in York.

Only a short walk to the train station and city centre attractions. Comfortable mattresses with good quality linens. Nice living area and bathroom, with well-maintained and well-equipped facilities. Would stay here again.

Generally peaceful, although noise from the adjacent pub garden was audible. Also conversations from neighbouring units can be heard through walls.

Le logement était presque propre, mais il y avait quelques éclaboussures de graisse au-dessus de la plaque de cuisson et des tâches de sang sur la housse de couette, autrement lavée ! Il y avait une découpe dans le mur dans la salle de bain, d'environ un mètre de haut et 40 cm de large. Elle avait été carrelée pour s'harmoniser avec le carrelage mural, puis réinstallée entre le lavabo et les toilettes, laissant un espace sur un côté suffisant pour voir dans l'appartement voisin quand il était allumé et inversement. Peut-être la découpe correspond à un accès à la plomberie, comme une photo sur booking.com d'un autre appartement suggère, qui ne srmblait pas le cas ici. Même dans ce cas, la lumière et l'intérieur de l'appartement voisin ne devraient pas être visibles.

Super location with all you need facilities. The pub adjoining the property was friendly and not too noisy. All the highlights of the old city were within easy walking distance. Supermarket close by also.

Brilliant location (near city and train station), spot-on communication from the owner/manager, lovely staff, loved the layout and in room appliances/facilities. Nearby pubs were great too!

Only thing I can think of it the stairs were a bit difficult for my feet related neuropathy, but next time we would book one of the accessible rooms the cleaners recommended. Definitely coming back.

The living space downstairs being separate from the bedroom upstairs was great, and definitely better than just a hotel room

The ceiling being slopped in the bedroom upstairs, made it feel really small and very difficult to move down 1 side of the bed. I'm tall and the ceiling was an big issue for me

Perfect location to the city centre and a short walking distance to everything. The apartments are well maintained and are equipped with various facilities for a number of nights stay. Extremely well maintained with both facilities and cleanliness. Staff are very friendly and helpful at all times.

Nothing to be unhappy with

Clean, simple, compact. Had everything I needed. Great shower. Warm, comfortable. Centrally located. Very close to train station. Walking distance to everywhere. Frank the maintenance director was very helpful and friendly. Richard responded quickly when I requested an early check in. Very satisfied.

The outdoor pub noise was louder and lasted longer than expected. I actually found it comforting in some ways and it did eventually stop, but I could see how some clients could be upset by it. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the bathroom radiator rack on.

Listing says 4 parking spaces infront of the apartments. You will find it hard to get 4 cars infront of the block of apartments. If you happen to park infront of the pub you will be charged. Safely its 3 cars parking.

Very central, bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. The shower was good and there appeared to be everything needed for a few days stay, we only used wine glasses this time but would definitely stay again.

The lighting was a little confusing, the toilet was low for us but nothing that would stop us staying again or recommending the property.

The whole place was extremely good. The facilities were second to none at where I’ve stayed. Bests staying at any normal hotel. It’s like a home from home. Deffo be staying again in summer.
