Excellent location, had car park though was charged separately and was expensive, staff were helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The washbasin sink in bathroom , stopper was stocked so couldn’t use it . Was tired do didn’t inform them .

Parking was poor so we had to park 15 minutes away. We were recommended a car park that would cost £25 for the night to get there and it was £45 meaning we had to travel further away, we still ended up paying £35

Good value compared with others

I had a lovely stay. The location was good. The bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

When I visit next time I will book a larger room - the single room was cramped. My key card got cancelled after one night and it had to be re-activated. for the second night.

Really good location. Central but also tucked away so a little quieter. Breakfast was fantastic, so many options.

Check in was a little challenge. Hotel didn’t seem to know I had a booking even though I booked several months ago. They were only able to find it by me providing my booking number. The man who checked me in was nice but didn’t find him apologetic about the mishaps and actually raised my nervousness, rather than minimising it.

Room was basic and sub standard,we were told breakfast was severed till eleven never given a welcome pack to find out breakfast was stopped at 9.30. Ask for a refund and was refused a refund . Terrible staff not very clean at all avoid at all costs !!!!!

The housekeeping was sloppy & very late in the day before the room was cleaned. When asked about this the response was the cleaned the newly vacated room first & they would do the others when they had time which proved to be after 4pm.

Cleanliness made me feel like it hadn’t been properly done, no complementary water made me question if the bed had been changed.

It’s in an excellent location, just a short distance from both the train station and York city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good quality and plentiful.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were too hard, unfortunately I didn’t get a good nights sleep.

There was a fair choice on the breakfast menu I wish there more choices for vegetarian that have warm breakfast Like myself I cannot eat an egg either anymore due to health reasons

My room was on the first floor, on the same floor as the restaurant, so unfortunately there was quite a lot of noise during the night from people walking past. I could also hear the doors banging whenever someone opened and closed them, which made it difficult to have a peaceful night’s sleep. Apart from the noise, the room itself was very nice and comfortable. I just wish I had been given a room on one of the higher floors, where it may have been quieter and I could have enjoyed a better view of the river as well. I think that would have made my stay much more enjoyable.

Parking is limited. I wouldn’t book it if you are doing it to get parking. There are reasonable parking options in about 10 min walk.

Screen based check-in/out was a faff, especially considering there were 3 members of reception staff sitting there doing nothing! Booked twin room. This was not assigned on check-in, so we had to wait for a twin room to become available. Quickly resolved but annoying.

We paid to stay till Monday but left early Sunday morning - bed wasn’t comfortable and flared my fibromyalgia- also air con didn’t work Was ok but just wanted to leave and get home as wasn’t comfortable for me

We decided to eat breakfast at the hotel, we were going to eat elsewhere but changed our minds. Unfortunately the food that was meant to be served hot was cold! Fried eggs were rock hard! Coffee was bitter the machine needs adjusting ( pressure, temperature etc) On leaving the hotel we handed our key cards to the receptionist who didn't look at us, ask us if everything was okay, thank us for using the hotel or say goodbye!!! Unfortunately she carried on her conversation with her work colleague! Such diabolical customer service. More training needed, or a change of staff I'm afraid. This was the third but last time I will stay here.

Not very helpful when wanting to put a birthday surprise in my room. Was supposed to give me a phone call to say if they could accommodate a balloon and bottle of alcohol free prosecco, they didn't call. Self check in didn't work. Long ques to check in and out.

Staff very helpful. Room was a river view double. Really clean, bed comfortable. Good facilities. Could hear nightlife sounds but that didnt bother us at all. All in all a great stay and we would definately return

We had a river view room, 6th floor. Directly across the river is a nightclub, we couldnt have the window open it was too loud, really loud. Even when the window shut still loud and music and rowdy people until gone 2am. It's not the hotels fault, but it would be ideal to know this so people can choose an alternate room not over the river.

Bed was comfortable and the cozy room as a whole is a good package. Breakfast pretty good, no complains about that whatsoever. The sound isolation was okay, though the elevator can be clearly heard, but it's not a big issue.

There is no daily room cleanup and it's not clearly mentioned anywhere. During my 4 night stay, only once someone made the bed. Probably the management will start bragging about ecology and company values and that I could ask for room cleanup anytime at the reception, but truth is, this policy wasn't mentioned anywhere in the first place. No mention at reservation time, no info at checkin, no info in the room. It would be perfectly okay if they made this clear, and not let the client be surprised. The shower only has a fixed ceiling shower and not anything on a hose, there is no toilet brush and no bottled water provided.

The room was so noisy. The cold air con kept coming on even when I switched it off. The unit above it was squeaking and making noises. It kept me awake.

Great location for walking into York Town Centre. Easily accessible from the Train station. Some parking available at a reasonable cost. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is very nice. Bar and restaurant very good. Bed was very comfortable Had the minster view room and you definitely got that view. Good price for a great Hotel

Хороший номерной фонд, удобный номер, есть лифты, персонал идет на контакт по проблемам. Наверное, если бы мы взяли обычный номер, мы бы остались довольны. До центра 8 мин пешком, до вокзала столько же.

Брали номер с видом на реку, ожидая заявленную картинку - река и собор. Нас поселили в дальний номер в другом здании. До выхода из гостиницы оттуда идти 3 минуты . И самое главное - вид на реку и СТЕНУ здания напротив, на которой постоянно сидят голуби. Мы ощущали себя как в номере с видом на тюрьму. Мы сразу попросили переселения , чтобы вид соответствовал ожиданиям, ведь мы ДОПЛАЧИВАЛИ за этот вид по сравнению с обычным номером. В тот вечер номеров не было. Мы переночевали тут. Утром нас переселили в главное здание наверх с видом, как на картинке. Но тут появилось второе НО: напротив главного здания на другой стороне реки находится бар, в котором поют караоке до 2 часов ночи. Мы не могли спать даже в бирушах. Я понимаю, что персонал вряд ли может с этим что-то сделать. Но брать доплату за этот дискомфорт- нечестно.

The noise is ridiculous you can hear people outside making noise every 5 minutes and didn’t stop till 5:30am. A lot of noise in the hotel people running up and down the corridors , doors slamming, people shouting and banging in the hotel. From 2am - 5am

Absolute scandal to have to pay £25 per day to park a car .we have stayed at this hotel many times but standards have certainly gone down poor standard of food no restaurant in the evening you have to eat in the bar area.no snacks available .after check in we went to our room just outside of our room on a window ledge were 2 empty wine bottles guess what?? They were still there 3 days later when we left.NOT WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THIS TYPE OF HOTEL. IT goes without saying that we will not be staying here again.RADISSON HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME!!

I didnt have breakfast, the location was excellent. Room comfortable. I did have an issue when i first arrived, i was given a double instead of 2 singles but it was addressed quickly and changed within half an hour. Staff were happy to keep hold of luggage when it was changed so we could go out. They also did that on check out day so could explore.

We didnt have a remote control in our room, we didnt watch tv. It wasnt a big issue as only there for 2 nights and with friends. Didnt even get round to mentioning it until leaving. We did notice one of the tiles was peeling off, needs a bit of maintenance. I did find the staff very friendly when we spoke to them but also quite hands off i.e nothing was explained to us regarding facilities, restaurant, breakfast etc. There wasnt even a booklet/leaflet in our room which i found quite unusual.

A little clinical at check in with self ervice although staff there and were helpful. Just a bit dull in interior. Bar area had nicer brighter colour scheme food was good.. Stayed two nights but room was not attended to in between for cleaning or check linen, or refresh of facilities, on quiet side street.

The location is spot on. So close to everything in York. Thecwelcome was fab and so was our farewell. Your staff were super friendly and a credit to the hotel.
