GREAT location, everything was a short walk to get too. lots to do in the area. The area was very old town but the town Centre had all the shops you would love. The accommodation exceeded our expectation very plush beautifully decorated very modern. would absolutely stay there again.

How modern the property was

Property clean and tidy Lots of information to hand 10 mins walk to centre of York.

There was an internal vent in the bedroom that was on constant Turn off air con but noise from vent did not stop.

Location was 10 minute walk from the train station and then another 10 minutes to the centre of town. Each unit has a little bistro table set up in the court yard, either for that morning coffee or afternoon drink. While we didn’t use the kitchen, it appeared well stocked. Perhaps we should have been prepared to use the kitchen as there was a lack of breakfast places near its location. Our only complaint and certainly not the hotels fault. Super clean and the bed was so very comfortable, should have gotten the name brand. Wonderful stay.

Cute and very expansive. Largest bedroom we had in England. We liked the location and proximity to the train station.

Access was a bit funky through the back gates. All good except for that.

Location is excellent except if you have to put a car into the NCP extortionate parking. The bed and bedding really comfortable.

The apartments are a bit sterile, missing some soft furnishings like a cosy blanket and some supplies. The shower door above the bath needed deep cleaning along the edges as did skirting boards everywhere.

I was very pleased with the accommodation, perfect location and 5* interior I would recommend to others.

L'emplacement n'est pas trop loin de la gare qui est accessible à pied. L'endroit bien que l'on soit en ville est extrêmement calme au point que je n'ai pas eu besoin de mes boules quies. Idéal pour visiter YORK. Propreté impeccable et personne réellement à l'écoute des problèmes. Décoration très jolie et entretien impeccable des appartements.

Nous avons eu un très mauvais lit la première nuit avec des creux énormes dans le matelas. La réception a pris notre problème très au sérieux et comme un nouveau matelas met 48 heures à se dérouler complètement, ils nous ont changé d'appartement où nous avons eu un lit correct.

Very creaky floorboard in the apartment above ours. Also on our return after 1am on our 1st night we found the glass entrance door had been propped wide open with a 'wet floor' sign, meaning anybody without a keycard could have entered the block. A bit concerning as we'd already encountered a couple of drunken young men in the alleyway. I appreciate none of this is a direct fault of the Lawrance, however it does make you feel a bit uneasy when entering an empty apartment late at night.

Spacious apartment.

Location is noisy at night if on the weekend with a constant stream of drunk people walking by and shouting into the early hours. Ideally one of the rooms would have twin beds.

De locatie is rustig en geluidsarm, geen verkeer. Perfect uitgangspunt in het oude stadsgedeelte. Vlakbij het trein- en busstation. Mooi ingericht en ruim appartement. Heel vriendelijk personeel.

Het matras had een zeer diepe kuil, ik voelde de spiraal. Het matras is omgedraaid door het personeel, maar toen ontstond ook aan de andere kant op dezelfde plek een kuil. De koffie en theezakjes en melk worden niet bijgevuld op de kamer, dit zou wel fijn zijn. Weinig servies, bv geen saladekom.

Absolutely beautiful! The decor was lovely, fresh and modern. Really comfortable big bed, good quality towels and loads of hot water. Well equipped kitchen and the tea, coffee and biscuits was a lovely touch. Fantastic location. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, spacious apartment with everything you could need. It was in a great location and an excellent price point for York. Huge comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Decor was stylish, building was lovely and quiet. Couldn't have asked for more for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Decorated absolutely beautifully. Exceptionally clean inside and the courtyard. You wouldn’t find a spec of dirt anywhere if you tried. Couldn’t be a better location when in York it was perfect. Bed really high quality feather duvet/ pillows so comfy. All appliances you need and more- fridge ect, hairdryer, washing machine, shower gel ect

Parking was £40 in the car park next to the property which was the only down fall. I wish the property could get a discount with the parking company.

Es war alles wunderbar! Die Anweisungen bei Check in waren super einfach und wir haben unsere Schlüsselkarte direkt „gefunden“. Die Wohnung war größer als ich erwartet hatte und war super schön. Check out mega entspannt :) 10 Minuten zu Fuß und man ist direkt im alten Stadtkern!

The staff were so nice. It was nice and clean. The room was very nice. The pictures before i booked the room showed there was a shower and bath separately but the room didnt. So maybe sort that out, but it was a really good stay regardless.

The job was an induction hob and the pans were not compatible for it, so the hob wouldn’t work.

Very spacious apartment. Washing machine and dishwasher. Location easy access to shops, bars and city centre. Close to train station. Handy to have air conditioning.

Apartment a little worn in places chipped laminate. Edge of shower could have been cleaner some mould accumulating but hard to see because of dark colour of shower. Would like a shower you can move to wash all over. It was a rainfall shower and pinot so powerful.

The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable with everything we needed there. The location was great as we could walk from the train station and it was an easy walk into the city centre.

The fire alarm going off at 7am on the Tuesday morning. This was due to someone showering and the steam set the alarm off. Other than that the stay was perfect.

Comfortable bed and well appointed, but the photo online did not match the room we were assigned. The room was quiet.

We were in Suite 15 on the ground floor. It was like a dungeon because there two small windows that were mostly frosted for privacy from passing pedestrians. The bedroom had no external window and faced into the living room.

My apartment was very spacious and contained a great range of facilities including washing machine and dishwasher. It was well equipped for self-catering with full kitchen. It was nicely furnished and the bed was super comfortable. Location was easily accessible from the railway station.

Shower over bath with no grab handles. Particularly high bath to lift your leg over and into the bath/shower. Extractor fan not working in bathroom. Very pricey for an early arrival. £20 each hour before 3 o'clock.

We didn't use the kitchen or living room too much, although I was introduced to Reacher on Amazon Prime, and the TV subs appeared to be replicated in the bedroom. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom - we had one each in our three bedrooms - which was probably the highest spec I had encountered.

Perhaps there could have been some bread, butter & jam in the kitchen, and annoyingly I left a soft drink can in the fridge,

It was central to the town centre and only 10 mins from the race course. It was a beautiful, clean comfortable apartment. I booked a 2 bed and a studio apartment. There were 6 people in our party. We had the best few days.

Great location (close to train station & bus stops for day trips, close to city center without being directly *in* the city center), great size, quiet unit, comfortable bed. Blackout curtains on skylights. Fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc. Air conditioning was great.

No view from the bedroom (skylights only). Heavily scented hallways.

Able to come and go with ease (once I'd mastered the key safe!), good location easy walking distance to the station and to the centre of town. Comfortable but clearly designed for men! The wardrobe was set up for shirts and trousers, I had to hang a couple of dresses on a hook in the hall way. There was a small dressing table with mirror for drying hair etc. but in a corner with limited lighting. A shaving type mirror in the bathroom would help with putting on make-up. None of these were major issues but a little more thought as to what your female guests might need would be good.

We stayed in the apartments. It was more convenient for our needs.

The mattress and the pillows were a little softer than what I like, but this was a personal preference and NOT a complaint.

The location was fantastic, a 5 min walk to the station. In a quiet location but within walking distance of everything I wanted to see & do in York. Property had good security which is always reassuring when travelling alone. Staff were very helpful and prompt at responding to my request for coathangers and a fan

The Location is perfect for getting to all the attractions York has to offer. The apartment was tastefully decorated, well equipped and had all the makings of a top hotel room but with the added bonus of living space and kitchen area. We felt the space and location offered excellent value for money and would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Other than a lack of parking, we had read somewhere when that there would be a discount voucher for the NCP car park in the key box but it seems this offer had expired which was a little disappointing. Parking cost us £80 at the Tanner Row NCP for our 2 night stay, so people should bear this expense in mind when costing their booking. If I was being uber picky, I’d say the only other upgrade I’d like to see is a soft close toilet seat! ☺️

The mattress isn't as firm as it could be...perhaps a mattress topper would be something to think about it.

Apartment was perfect, lots of space and all the facilities you could need. Like a home away from home. Location was excellent, easy to get to from the train station, walking distance to all the sites.

We loved everything about this space. It was immaculately clean. It had EVERYTHING we could have possibly needed. It was very easy to access. It was extremely private. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. Love that there was a full size fridge freezer. The TV in the lounge was huge making for an epic chill space and was smart so we could connect to our Netflix account. The sofas were huge and so comfortable. The bedroom was fantastic too with plenty of storage. The bed itself was fantastic and the bedding and towels were very luxurious. Our around this stay was up there with the best stays in the UK. Next time we are in York this will be our go to.

Was tricky to find where to get into the property.

The facilities were good. The majority was clean

No rail up the steps to the apartment. No bedroom door. No ability to open windows. Sofa not designed for older people who suffer with arthritis.

Amazing accommodation, luxurious and very comfortable and in a nice quiet location, also felt very safe with the secure access. We even cut our night out short so we could relax and chill in the living room with the air con on - was 36- outside so was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Everything was done to a really high spec. with the exception of the very small hand mirror in the bedroom on the dressing table that could be changed to a larger mirror as there is the space and would make a big difference, the small one was ok but had to prop it up.

It was very well presented. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were a very good size with comfortable beds. There were 2 bathrooms, one an en-suite, which was an added bonus. It was close to the train station and all the sights we wanted to see in York.

We loved this aparthotel! The apartment was really clean and much bigger than we expected and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great, with a Sainsburys nearby and the old town just a short walk away. Oh, and the bed was super comfy too! Would definitely stay here again. :)

Can’t fault it

Very nice apartment which offers everything you need. We ate in both nights we stayed. The apartment is a short distance from the center of York. Very clean and nicely furnished.

A tea towel would be helpful because we handwashed the dishes (they provided a dishwasher but we didn’t have enough dirty dishes to run it). Fortunately we had packed our own.

Location was fantastic. Very spacious apartment. Clean and comfortable. Loved it.

The wooden floor was incredibly slippery unless we were wearing shoes. Very dangerous in bare feet or socks.
