The breakfast was amazing
What i paid for the room.. just under $500!! My girlfriend and I actually ended up wanting to stay another night and were told you were completely booked?? Disappointing
Close to the mall, and great transportation set up for the NYS fair!
We loved it all
Clean, Quiet, Great Staff.
The GPS in that area does not work. Which ever entity is responsible should be notified.
Breakfast was great. Location was great. Lobby and public areas were nice. Liked that we got vouchers for happy hour and appreciated the accommodation for early check in. Liked that we could have free water.
The rooms were small and the pillows were uncomfortable. Room facing highway was extremely loud, could hear the cars all night. Couldn’t turn off TV in bedroom. Couldn’t find extra linens, had to wait for staff to bring it. Safe wasn’t working. Bathroom doors were very loud.
The room was very nice. The free breakfast was great. The cocktail reception each night with 2 free drinks was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.
Great location Staff was wonderful Happy hour was friendly and affordable
Majority of the staff was kind and helpful, nice location, pretty view of the city.
Minor broken things in the room. The omelet guy was rude and did not properly cook the food thoroughly, other guest and I was complaining to each other about it. The omelet guy got loud with my in front of other guess because I didn't speak fast enough for him. My omelet was not cooked all the way and it pooled raw egg on the perimeter of my plate. I had him cook it longer for me and it still was not done, that's how much he under cooked the egg to begin with. Another staff was nice enough to cook it on the pan longer in the back, 3rd times the charm, and also the bacon looked raw. To pay over $500 for 1 night and have that kind of experience was sad. I would stay again, but I would try to see if there's a different cook there first. My family and I ended up going out just to eat breakfast. Other than the omelet guy, everyone else was amazing.
Clean
The food ! The chicken was great the rest was no
Very clean.
Had to pay for parking.
除了你购物中心进以外是个大品牌,还有其他没什么可以写的
房间比较拥挤,早餐也不好
Breakfasty was great and proximity to theatre was excellent.
clean
location not well suited for family- in out room the sofa bed was used as the bed for the kids - the sofa was narrow, and when opened blocked the access to main bed.
Our stay was perfect. Great facilities and location to break our journey from NYC to Toronto. Shopping mall within 2 min walk definitely a bonus.
Nothing
Booked 2 rooms 10 days ahead of time was told rudely at facility only had one room and couldnt use the facilities
Everything was great, except we were informed the pool was closed at check in.
Pool was closed. Very disappointing. Hotel is beautiful so I would assume the pool is exceptional as well.
The reception, bartender, location and breakfast were great
Staff empathy for a closed pool (Edward and Jasmine), using a digital key in the elevator, waiting for a luggage carrier, warmth of room-breakfast chef
Wow just checked in to one of the more expensive "corner suites" and boy is it nasty! Nearly every piece of furniture is stained and there is a giant crusty brown spot on the floor! Gross! Luxurious view as well, lol.
Location
Bed right in front of window
Good location, parking and breakfast included
Breakfast was quitre good. Up to Embassy Suites standard.
The air conditioning in our room did not work. We called the front desk. A hotel engineer came to our room. He could not get the AC to work. He brought us a box fan to help cool our room.
Great breakfast, location and staff!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stayed here many times for various reasons. This visit was less than stellar. No shuttle available any longer. Extremely limited options for the complimentary happy hour. Rooms have aged with marred furniture and lumpy carpets. $200 plus hold at check in. Just overall disappointing. Will choose a different property when visiting Syracuse from now on . . .
The breakfast was nice and the guy who makes the omelets is fun
the cleanliness of the room. the first night I was walking barefoot and stepped on a small piece of glass (I assume from the previous tenant) and was bleeding. ok it can happen to anyone but generally with the use of a vacuum cleaner it would have been avoided.
pool
Average. I was missed the appetizer, things like broccoli, salads, or cucumber. Meat was very salted.
Staff did not show me where the elevator was located or the floor where my room was located. He did not check my identity to make sure he had the right person. After he asked my name, he then asked me to swap my visa card and gave me the electronic key. I thought he should check my driver's license to the name I stated to him.
Great location , helpful staff; good restaurant.
Family friendly so you get some noise.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was excellent and very convenient, which made the overall experience even better. The hotel was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and I appreciated having plenty of room to comfortably settle in with all of my belongings. The bed was very comfortable, which allowed me to relax and get a great night’s rest. I was also very impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and professional the staff was throughout my stay. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel valued as a guest. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and would gladly stay here again in the future.
The only thing that I wish could’ve been was the bar and restaurant to be open a little bit later. Being on vacation or I guess being away from home, I don’t typically go to bed as early, so it’ll be nice to have those options or even room service. Another thing it would’ve been nice if the gym was a tad bigger maybe had a Smith machine or a little bit more equipment to get a nicer workout.
The receptionist forgot to turn our wifi access and phone on. We were there on a Friday... and from 9-1 AM all we heard were cars drag racing on the road between the mall and the hotel. It was very loud!!
The lobby was modern and normal and the breakfast buffet was nice.
Clean and pristine features, good variety for breakfast, attentive staff.
The screaming kids running the hall, unattended by parents. I know this isn’t the property’s fault, but it was just very annoying. I came to this hotel to relax and get away from my everyday life, just to listen to the same thing I have at home was a little frustrating personally. That is my only dislike.
Great location. Great room set up. My family was there for a dance competition and they were unable to give us a comforter for the pull out couch. I found this ridiculous because the blankets they gave us were scratchy and dirty. And had a melted chewed bottle cap invested. Disgusting and had no other option. A family member cried because of this traumatic experience. Everything else was wonderful.
Great value for a larger family! Very clean and love the breakfast too.
Hotel staff welcomed us warmly. King suite was nicely equipped. Enjoyed nice dinner in restaurant. Unfortunately we could stay for reception hour in bar with complimentary drinks. Went to Destiny Mall right across the street to see Leanne Morgan comedy show. Enjoyed greatl complimentary breakfast next morning and relaxed with a swim in the pool before 12pm check out. Recommend the Syracuse Embassy Suites and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great getaway!
Hotel was beautiful. Staff very friendly. Great food and amenities including nice pool, golf simulator, great restaurant and comfy rooms.
The hotel is in good shape and the people I interacted with were nice. You'll likely enjoy your stay. I'll call out that whoever is in charge - and perhaps there's no one, in which case that's kinda the point - is distracted. Anecdotal evidence: - no air conditioning on fifth floor (and it was hot) all three days - the elevator call button on the fifth floor did not work all three days - my room was not made up and when I asked about it at 5 was told that all the cleaners had left so I was out of luck - I asked for a late check out (Diamond) and was told that they would get that sorted by the next morning and didn't - I overheard the kitchen staff apologizing for their speed as "only two people" showed up that day Anyway, I hope the owner sees this and puts things right.
I highly recommend this hotel for all company events! We are Davis Almer have been very fortunate to be using Embassy destiny for quite a few years now for all of our hotel accommodations for all of our business trips Summit and holiday parties. There is nothing more that I could say about Valerie at Embassy suites destiny! She is an amazing asset to the company and has been very supportive for all of our needs five stars all around for this hotel.
Amazing
Location, and the breakfast.
The pool is gross. Was slimy. There was bugs crawling all over the walls in the corner of the room. There is an additional feel of $15/ night to park as well.
We loved the accommodations. Very clean, comfortable, and the staff was excellent.
The breakfast was slightly disappointing but it could have been just our preferences!
Very clean
Room service could have been better.
This hotel is a great choice if your priority is being close to Destiny USA. You can’t beat the convenience for shopping or quick access to the mall. That said, if you’re visiting Syracuse University or want to spend time downtown, I would strongly recommend staying closer to the city center—Uber rides from here add up quickly. The hotel itself makes a solid first impression. The lobby is modern and inviting, and both the bar and restaurant are genuinely good. The gym and pool are also better than expected for this type of property. The room layout is particularly well-designed, especially for families. Having a separate bedroom and living area makes traveling with kids much easier. While the rooms are a bit worn and could use some updating, they’re still perfectly serviceable. One note of caution: the sofa beds are clearly older. They creak loudly with any movement and aren’t nearly as comfortable as newer designs, so plan accordingly if someone will be sleeping there. The biggest drawback is the weekend atmosphere. The hotel seems to attract large groups—birthday parties and tournament teams—which can significantly impact the experience. Think groups of a dozen kids with minimal supervision. To their credit, the hotel does try to manage it, including having security respond to noise and hallway disruptions. Still, the volume of guests can be overwhelming. The pool was packed to the point of being unusable, happy hour was shoulder-to-shoulder, and breakfast was so crowded that finding a table was a challenge. Overall, this hotel works well for convenience and families who want space, but if you’re looking for a quieter or more relaxed stay—especially on a weekend—you may want to consider other options.
Service. Size of room. Comfy beds
Not being told of the 250$ extra fee
The property was clean, room was spacious. Walk to mall was great.
The property was great. I thought the amount held on my card was supposed to be 150 but it ended being over 300.00 that was really the only issue, and the pool being so many kids not being supervised. But my 3 year old did get time at the pool early morning without all the kids. So she did get to enjoy herself. I would stay here again.
Easy check in. Comfy beds lounge was great
Not being told about the extra 250$ hold fee
Everything was great. The food in the restaurant was tasty and breakfast included too. I would stay at this hotel again.
Most everything.
There was an extra 80$ I need to find out why?
Room was clean staff was friendly love the 2-hour happy hour.
The staff was all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.
Really nothing
The location of the room is great, especially at winter time as it is closed to the mall with plenty activities. The suite like room with the kitchen was very useful when traveling with kids. The pool is small but still enjoyable. The breakfast is nice.
The room is old, the bar was a disappointment.
Location to Destiny Mall.
Edward was a bit rude at checking in. 15 dollars a night parking fee was a surprise. Taxes and other added on fees got ridiculous and brought the bills up. Didn't make up the room and we had to ask for clean towels and wash clothes.
How close it was to the mall and breakfast!
The pool was dirty....like they don't treat it appropriately you can see the scum all over the edges of the pool. We booked it mainly because of the pool to have a fun night with the kids swimming and at the mall. Unfortunately the pool was gross and we couldn't use it.
Breakfast spread was great, easy to navigate around hotel with luggage cart. Always elevator availability.
The handle to the sliding door on the bathroom had no stopper before slamming into the wall from the bedroom side. My son, husband, and I all punched out fingers in this spot. Safety hazard.
Complementary reception was a nice touch. Complementary breakfast was very good. Room was nice. We stayed in a corner king suite.
Very clean and excellent location
Housekeeping staff walked in before checkout, and with the do not disturb sign on the door. Reported this to front desk upon leaving and they didn’t really care.
I’ll preface this by saying they don’t show reviews in the Hilton app. My fault. I go to check in with the kids. Lobby is beautiful check in was a breeze. Joel informed us there was a happy hour which meant two free alcoholic drinks for the adults and two nonalcoholic drinks (like Shirley temples) for the kids. This was something I was not expecting and was very appreciative. We check into our room and unload our stuff. We stayed in a two room suite. We immediately notice the cupboard door is hanging off the hinge. And the upholstered chair has seen some things. Lighting isn’t great, but we arrived during the day so the curtains get opened. I plan to tell the front desk about the door so we don’t get blamed. We continue to settle in and it becomes obvious there was a party over the weekend and they trashed the room. Neon green silly string, what looks like cake icing on the bdrm door, and what looks like spilled beverages down the walls. The beds were made up and the bathroom was clean. That’s a win, I guess. It’s now happy hour and the kids go up to the bar to order their shirley temples. Ms Grumperson tells my husband the kids aren’t allowed at the bar. No worries, wasn’t the plan anyway. We get our drinks and enjoy them at a table. There are a few snacks available, including veg, and they’re tasty. We’re ready for round two and my husband goes up. Ms Grumperson tells my husband they’ve been assigned to the kids drinks, as they’re not included in the “two free drinks”. So I chat with Joel who checks with the mgr that what we were told at check-in was correct. So this time I chat with the bartender, who says they’re not supposed to do that, they’re supposed to offer an appetizer. The bar and hotel are managed separately and she’s been getting trouble from her boss. She makes the temples and asks, “what else?” I’ll take our two adult drinks as well thanks…and there’s lipstick on the glass. I drink from the other side as to avoid another interaction. As I showed Joel pics of the trashed room, he apologizes and offers for us to change rooms, down the hall and around the corner. The same room directly across from us is booked. We decide it’s too much of a hassle to move rooms- the beds are made and the bathroom’s clean, at least. They send maintenance to fix it but it’s beyond repair. It needs to be replaced and that’s not happening tonight Fast forward to bedtime. My youngest son gets into bed and I lay beside him. He tells me he’s wet. I say it’s probably just cold as a lot of beds are when you first get in. He complains again so tell him to get off and I’ll feel around. Turns out the bed was wet! Weird, right? I !figure the dryers probably weren’t working well, but for some reason I did a sniff test. I sh*t you not- someone had P!ssed the bed. Wtf, seriously?! I’m having a tough time registering that housekeeping wouldn’t change the sheets and they’d notice this, right? But everything else went unnoticed, so I should’ve known. I call down to the front desk and as for new bedding because someone p!ssed the bed and they said they’d be right up. Hubby helps me strip the bed and he remarks that it’s completely saturated. He dumps the bedding in the hall and goes down to the front desk. He comes back later and says we couldn’t get upgraded because of the code we booked under, but magically the room across the hall was available. It’s late so we end up just transferring everything hastily. It’s a disaster. We can’t find anything and the kids 11,8,7 are zombies from being so over tired. My eldest son actually wants to leave because he’s grossed out. My ELEVEN yr old son is grossed out. So I check the bed for bedbugs because of course that’s what I’m expecting next. We’re clear and off to bed we go. The bedding is still there in the morning. We go down for breakfast. It’s simple, the omelet man was cheerful. I see Joel at the desk again and tell him what he missed last night. For some reason, he doesn’t seem shocked. He goes back to chat with the mgr again and then offers us half off. Ugh. $15 parking charged stayed, of course. Funny this is the only hotel I didn’t receive a “tell us how we did” email after our stay like other Hilton owned properties. So reason for 1 star instead of zero 1-trip advisor won’t let me rate zero 2-there were no bed bugs 3-Joel and the Maintenance staff were pleasant
Location
TVs had no app channels to choose from just hbo
This hotel was perfect!!!! The kids loved the pool and exercise room. The suite we had was VERY spacious, clean and comfortable. They have a walkway connection to the mall across the street. I was not impressed by the mall, though it was beautiful and had lots to do, they changed $65 per child for the necessary coupon book. Most rides they could only do 1 time despite having multiple coupons. The hotel was absolutely great. Staff was wonderful and hotel was quite.
I loved the complementary breakfast and happy hour.
The lobby seats were full of stains. Our room. The couch had a stan on it That looked like it was from having to much fun. There were pubic hair in the shower. It was not what I was expecting.
Do yourself a favor and stay at another Hilton property if you're in Syracuse. Just stayed there 3 days ago and the room smelled like weed. To the point where it interfered with sleeping. Since there was a Syracuse game in town this weekend, there wasn't another comparable room available. Also, out of 13 other Hilton properties in the city limits, this is the ONLY Hilton property in Syracuse that charges to SELF PARK. The hotel is in the middle of over 900k square feet of mall/public parking and they whack you for $15 a day to park outdoors! Just stayed there in March of last year and this wasn't the case. I don't have a problem paying for parking in a garage, valet, or when I'm in NYC or Boston where real estate is scarce! In this case it's just being greedy.
Facility
Was never told at check in that there was a $250 incidental fee charge for a one night stay. The room and parking cost $233...The fee was more than the room! When I asked about this at the front desk, the front desk person shrugged his shoulders and said it was what it was. And walked away. Will never stay there again...
2 out of 3 elevators were not working took 25 min to get down to breakfast 30 min left to the end of breakfast was no bacon and would not make more the shower would barely get warm and pressure kept stopping almost to a stop no pressure then pick back up curtains was missing one so light came threw and blinded me in the morning and was no way to block it
Expensive stay. The front desk person who gave us our keys was miserable, didn’t smile and mumbled when speaking. There were teenagers running through the hallways at 1:30am. Housekeeping walked in our room 1 hour before checkout with our “do not disturb” sign hanging on the door! Would not stay here again.
Hotel room was filthy floor had not been vacuumed there was garbage u see the table The pillows were all balled up and need to be replaced along with the bedding over all. Chips in the tile. I could go on. We live this hotel and stay there each time we are in Syracuse but it definitely needs a refresh.
Sorry the above should be here. What we love is the location
The location
The kids running around screaming and the pool is very small for the size of the hotel.
Seeing how much my granddaughters loved swimming in the heated pool. The variety of food for breakfast and that it had a restaurant on the property.
Couldn't access the pool with my room key.

Nothing it was great
