Wir wurden total herlich Empfangen! Die Lage ist super, nur 20 Minuten zum Crocodile Gate, viele Tiere direkt vor dem Zimmer. Touren werden auch angeboten. Jaun ist der beste Guide! Wir haben sogar ein veganes Frühstück bekommen, danke dafür!

Sehr schöne und saubere Loges. Sehr geräumige Zimmer und das ganze Personal ist so hilfsbereit und hilft bei jedem Anliegen. Falls gewünscht kann man zu Abend dort essen und es wird jedes Mal frisch gekocht. Es schmeckt hervorragend. Am liebsten wären wir dort geblieben weil es so familiär und einfach schön war. Ich würde jedes Mal wieder diese Unterkunft buchen und freue mich auf hoffentlich ein baldiges Wiedersehen.

A equipe é muito acolhedora. Todo o serviço é incrível, desde a chegada até a hora de ir embora, todos nos receberam com muito carinho e hospitalidade. Além disso, a vila em si é muito linda, muito aconchegante e bem decorada. O jantar do T-bone é imperdível. Os games drives também foram muito bons, com o guia Jaun que foi incrível! O hotel é sem dúvidas um dos melhores que já ficamos!!

Een prachtige plek aan de crocodile river. Heerlijke plek in Marloth park en de gastvrijheid van Basil en Riette was ongekend. Wat een vriendelijke mensen! We genoten van het heerlijke eten dat voor ons bereid werd op onze locatie. En van alle dieren die onze tuin kwamen bezoeken. We komen hier heel graag terug!!

Ein Sehr schönes Haus, das sehr hochwertig eingerichtet ist. Hier hat man wirklich alles was man braucht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Aber der Hammer sind wirklich Basil und Riette und ihr Team. Sie sind wirklich wundervolle Menschen, die den Aufenthalt hier zu etwas besonderem gemacht haben. Man kann hier von der eigenen Terrasse aus Kudus und Warzenschweine im Vorgarten beobachten. Die angebotene Tages-Safari war ebenfalls überwältigend. Jaun macht diese Touren wirklich mit Kenntnis und Herzblut zu etwas Besonderem. Das Haus ist toll und die Menschen sogar noch etwas besser. Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt.

Our stay here was excellent — we even extended it by two more days. From the moment you arrive, impalas and wildebeests greet you at the property, and you immediately feel the privacy and peace of the surroundings. The hosts, Basil and Riette, are wonderfully friendly and welcoming; it truly felt like home. The dinners were outstanding, especially the t-bone steak, which was top-notch. They also offer safari experiences with additional costs, which I would highly recommend to anyone staying here.

Where to even begin with Foxy Crocodile?! Me and Leanne stayed for 4 nights and it has been one of our favourite hotels that we have ever stayed in. The accomodation is amazing. The rooms are luxurious and have everything you need from an outdoor shower, large bathtub and an extremely comfy bed. There are a lot of areas where you can sit and watch the abundance of wildlife passing by both near your room or across the river (usually elephants, bucks and crocodiles to see) it's both peaceful and incredibly relaxing. The half board menu is also a treat! You will have breakfast either provided at the lodge or pre-prepared should you be out on a safari. We loved having dinner brought to our villa whilst we listened to the noises over by the nearby river. The maids were smiley, friendly and always wanted to ask about your day! Whilst here, we took part on our first ever safari’s and booked 3 into Kruger National Park and had the pleasure of going out each time with Jaun. His knowledge was exceptional and he did everything he could to make sure each experience was rewarding. We would highly recommend booking safaris during your stay. The hospitality from the owners Basil and Riette is another thing that makes this place so special. They are warm and welcoming and very generous without being at all intrusive; but are always there to offer a friendly smile, advice and to ask about what you saw on your safari. They really do make Foxy Crocodile such a special place and we will forever be grateful that we booked to stay here. We can’t wait to convince our friends and family to add it to their future destinations! Thank you to Basil, Riette, Jaun and the rest of the Foxy Team. You will be missed!

Ein absolutes Highlight war die Tierwelt: Kudus und Zebras im eigenen Vorgarten sowie Elefanten und Hippos, die man direkt von der Terrasse aus beobachten konnte. Ein besonderer Dank gilt den Gastgebern Basil und Riëtte sowie dem gesamten Team der Lodge. Ihre Herzlichkeit und ihr altruistisches Engagement, den Gästen jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abzulesen, sind beispiellos. Man spürt die Leidenschaft des gesamten Teams in jedem Detail. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Tiere im Garten absolut fantastisch zu beobachten. Sehr stylische inneneinrichtung (sowie aussen). Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Toller Safari-Guide (Jaun) - seeehr zu empfehlen.

Looking outside, you can see so many animals wandering around, which makes the experience even more special. The safari tours they organize are also amazing and well worth it. Our second stay here was even more wonderful than the first! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately recognized, which made us feel at home right away. Our guide was extremely experienced and shared an impressive amount of knowledge about Kruger National Park and its wildlife. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man für einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt braucht. Basil, Riëtte und das gesamte Team sind außergewöhnlich herzlich und geben sich große Mühe, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Ein besonderes Highlight war unser erster Abend, an dem für uns in der Lodge ein hervorragendes T-Bone-Steak gegrillt wurde. Auch die direkt über die Unterkunft buchbare Safari war hervorragend organisiert. Dank Jaun hatten wir einen fantastischen Tag mit vielen beeindruckenden Tierbeobachtungen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge is a great place to stay near Kruger for day trip safaris. You can view across crocodile river from the porch and observe elephants, hippos, and buffaloes all day. The breakfast and dinner are amazing and the staff is super nice! The all-day safari to Kruger with Jaun will be in our memories for a long time. We can highly recommend staying here and will likely come back if there is a chance.

Notre sejour au Foxy Lodge a été des plus agréables. En effet les propriétaires sont adorables et se mettent en 4 pour faire de votre sejour un souvenir inoubliable. Nous avons été tellement conquis par cet endroit que nous pensons deja y retourner des que possible. Le lodge est situé dans un parc naturel face au parc Kruger. Tout est parfait. Vous avez la possibilité de commander des diners et 2 dames viendront vous dresser le table et servir le diner, l'organisation d'un barbecue est egalement une option que nous recommandons. Cerise sur le gateau d'inoubliable Game Drive sont proposés et vous vivrez des moments qui resterons gravés à tout jamais. Bref on recommande à 10000% vous ne serez pas deçus.

Fantastiška vieta ir šeimininkai. Labai estetiškai ir patogiai viskas įrengta. Būtinai užsisakykite vakarienes, buvo nuostabi patirtis. Ateina laukiniai gyvūnai (impalos, kudu) į kiemą. Turėjom privatų safarį su Jaun, jis nuostabus gidas, daug išmano ir papasakojo apie gyvūnus, žino kaip juos surasti. Per dieną pamatėme iš BIG 5, net keturis.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Lodge und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und wird von den Besitzern mit viel Herzlichkeit und Liebe geführt. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Mühe und Leidenschaft dahintersteckt. Besonders begeistert waren wir auch vom hervorragenden Abendessen – wirklich spitze! Für unsere Safaris haben wir außerdem liebevoll vorbereitete Lunchboxen mitbekommen, was sehr praktisch und aufmerksam war. Auch die über die Lodge organisierten Safaris können wir absolut empfehlen. Alles war bestens organisiert und wir hatten tolle Erlebnisse. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben weit vor Anreise mit uns Kontakt aufgenommen. An der Tür unseres Appartements standen zur Begrüßung unsere Namen. Das Appartement war sehr schön, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse serviert. Ebenso das Abendessen, dass eine Woche vor Ankunft bestellt werden musste. Leider hatten wir nur einmal das Abendessen gebucht. Das würden wir nächstes Mal für alle Abende bestellen. Es war sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Unterkunft liegt nah zum Krugerpark. Auf dem Grundstück laufen Kudus, Impalas und Warzenschweine frei herum und begrüßen einen schon morgens. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Man schaut auf den Fluß und kann abends die Terasse genießen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würde sie wieder buchen.

The food being brought to the villa is amazing. The staff are on another level when it comes to hospitality, they made my birthday weekend very special. The animals roaming the lodge was amazing.

Pool temperature was quite cold even though it was hot and it wasn't super clean but we definitely take a dip when the weather allowed.

This is the best place in the world. My husband and I stayed two nights at this lodge and everything was perfect. The place is beautiful and very clean, the food was delicious, the owners are amazing, they are very kind and helpful. We got to see a few animals around the lodge and is the best experience ever. We will definitely come back for a longer stay. We recommend this place 100%

Wir haben uns direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Basil und Riëtte sind wundervolle Hosts. Unser Unterkunft war sauber und perfekt für unseren 3-tägigen Safari Aufenthalt. Die Hausdamen Elisabeth und Patricia waren super lieb. Sie haben unser Abendessen immer angenehm gestaltet. Auch die gebuchten Safari Touren über die Lodge waren erfolgreich. Wir haben die Big 5 gesehen :) Der Guide Jaun hat ein super Gespür für die Tiere und immer ein gutes Bauchgefühl wo wir weitere Tiere sehen könnten.

Todo, en general todo. Nos han hecho sentir como en casa desde el primer minuto que entramos. Pero no una simpatía forzada por ser huésped, cuando estas con Basil o Riette ves que les gusta vivir alli y llevar su lodge con una dedicación total y eso te lo transmiten..... Nuestro guía en los safaris Jaun es un tío que nació en la zona que conoce muy bien Kruguer y que vive cada avistamiento de animales como el primer dia, el mismo graba y hace fotos, conoce las especies de flora y fauna y siempre prioriza el cuidado del parque ... si ve un aglomeramiento es el primero que se va para no estresar al animal. Un guía buenísimo. Todo el staff se lo curro muchísimo para hacernos sentir bien, Maria, Patricia, ........... Una pasada en resumen.

This is an absolute gem. Very near the Crocodile Bridge and it located very near the Crocodile River. We booked the half board option. The Braai was an experience in itself. The owners are hands on and always available.

We couldn’t recommend Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge highly enough, if you’re planning a stay in Kruger Park, look no further. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by kudu, antelope, and wildebeest roaming freely right outside the lodge (see photos). It was such a magical welcome and immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay. The lodge itself is incredible - spotless, beautifully designed, and wonderfully homely. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable. Spending time on the terrace or in the splash pool, watching animals wander by just metres away, was an unforgettable way to relax and soak in the surroundings. The food was outstanding. Breakfast was brought to us on the terrace each morning, which felt like such a treat, and dinner was equally impressive. The bush braai, especially the T-bone steak with its incredible glaze, was a real highlight. Basil and Riette were fantastic hosts who truly couldn’t do enough for us. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The safari departing directly from the lodge each morning was another unforgettable experience and made everything so easy and seamless. Overall, this was one of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed, and we can’t wait to return.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt bei Basil und Riette. Ab der ersten Minute hat die Chemie gestimmt. Basil hat uns empfangen und alles erklärt. Die Lage und die Lodge sind wirklich einmalig. Jede Menge Tiere u.a. Gnus, Zebras und Kudus kommen permanent vorbei und grasen direkt vor der Veranda. Sowohl das Frühstück, als auch das Abendessen werden auf der Veranda serviert, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Essen war jedes Mal hervorragend. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die ganztägige Safari mit Jaun war ebenfalls super. Basil und Riette geben dem Ganzen einen tollen familiären Touch. Dies findet man nicht so oft. Wir werden auf alle Fälle zurückkommen und nächstes Mal auch etwas länger bleiben.

The location. The peace with the sounds of Africa. The wild animals stopping by. The staff who are super friendly and you can tell that they love their job. The owners who have built a wonderful little osasis in Marlon Park. The bed which was super comfortable. The closeness to the Kruger Gate (Crocodile Bridge gate is 20mins drive). Food and drinks shops are 10-15 minutes drive. Various restaurants are a similar drive. The in house bbq/braai on an open fire pit that the staff prepare and serve. The size of the room/villa. 1 min walk to the fence dividing Marloth Park from the Crocodile river and the Kruger. For my wife and I it was a wonderful 4 days of relaxation in the African Bush just chilling, reading, watching African wildlife from our terrace.

Have stayed here before & would definitely stay again. The location is fantastic, the rooms are more like an apartment. Everything was clean & lovely. The private splash pool was really nice as it was pretty hot. Love the fact that the kudu, giraffe and zebra roam freely around yet it’s not in the park. The owners were really friendly. The ladies prepared & cooked our meals and prepared our rooms.

Super schöne Unterkunft. Mit hautnaher Tierbeobachtung von der Terrasse aus. Super freundliche Eigentümer. Der vorherige Kontakt hat immer perfekt geklappt. Sehr nettes freundliches Personal. Es ist sehr sicher dort.

Toller persönlicher Service! Essen privat auf der Terrasse während die wilden Tiere wie Warzenschwein Familien oder Kudus direkt übers Grundstück laufen!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur schön. Schön gelegen, sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit einem eigenen Pool und verschiedenen Terassen. Eine kleine Anlage, dadurch sehr privat. Ideal, um nach einer Safari perfekt zu entspannen. Kurze Wege zu zwei Toren des Krüger Parks. Lieget direkt am Corocodile River. Auch kann man von hier direkt Safari Trips starten, auch der Guide war super.

Leider noch im Bauzustand Infos ganz haben die Fotos nicht zu Realität gepasst. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir eine tolle Zeit!

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Foxy Lodge and are so glad we chose it for our first Kruger adventure! It’s just an hour and a half from Kruger International Airport, so getting there and back was super easy. Plus, the lodge is right by the river, offering amazing views of Kruger National Park and a chance to see and hear hippos. Marloth Park, where the lodge is, is bursting with wildlife, and we saw heaps of different animals just around us. Being so close to Crocodile Bridge Gate (a quick 20-minute drive) meant we could easily get into Kruger Park, which meant more sleep and more time to explore. The rooms are big, air-conditioned and have everything you need. The WiFi is great and the dinners are delicious, especially the T-Bone dinner. The lodge also runs safaris with their own car and guide, and we managed to spot all the Big Five. Our guide, Jaun, was fantastic. The friendly and helpful team, from booking online to the lodge staff, made us feel welcome and we had a great time.

Amazing staff and experience. Joretha was a wonderful, ever-present host, and Johan was an engaging, knowledgeable game-drive guide who got us up close to the lions. Delicious meals, wildlife everywhere for selfies, and hippos visible in the Crocodile River just across the lodge.

Basil und Riëtte sind außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und herzlich. Egal welches Anliegen man hat, die beiden sind immer direkt zur Stelle. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts wie zuhause gefühlt, das liegt vor allem an der tollen Unterkunft aber auch an dem überaus liebevollen Team.😊 Die von der Unterkunft organisierten Safaris mit dem super Guide Jaun in den Krüger Park waren ein absolutes Highlight und sind eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir hätten es uns nicht besser wünschen können. Als Abschlusshighlight unseres 5 tägigen Aufenthalts wurde dann auch direkt bei uns an der Grillstelle ein T-Bone Steak gegrillt - sowohl Show als auch Geschmack sind eine absolute 10 von 10! Wir empfehlen von Herzen die Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge und würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen. Nur schweren Herzens geht man von hier. Wir bedanken uns auch nochmal für diese außergewöhnlichen Tage und die Herzlichkeit von Basil, Riëtte und dem ganzen Team!😊

The location was stunning, we woke up to Kud, warthog and other antelope at our door step more than once. Walking along the border fence of the Kruger seeing and hearing hippo and different types of antelope. Our room had a private dipping pool which was perfect for roasting midday before we headed out back into the park. It was only a 15 minute drive from crocodile bridge gate. We felt completely safe the entire time. The staff were amazing: warm, genuine people who are willing to go above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious and if we were heading into the park they prepared some food for us to take in. We got to braai every night, they have gas or charcoal options.

We loved everything about our stay, we stayed at a few different places during our Kruger trip but this was our favourite by far.

The lodge is nice and the owners are amazing people. They waited for us under a torrential rain and show us our rooms. The rooms are big and clean. You have the feeling that you are in Africa in this lodge. The food is tasty and fresh. The lodge can organize a safari drive with a very good car. I've chosen another option for safari but was not so good like the one organised by the lodge.

Eine sehr schöne Lodge in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Krüger Park. Nur 15min bis zum Gate.. Und das ist nur das erste Pfund. Weiter geht es mit der herzlichen Betreuung durch Riette, Basil und dem Team in der Lodge. Da bleibt kein Wunsch unerfüllt , keine Frage ohne Antwort..Unsere Villa war war geräumig und es war alles da, was wir erwartet haben. Der gebuchte Morning Drive mit Jaun war perfekt. Mehr geht nicht an einem Tag. Das Frühstück ist mit Liebe zubereitet und das Abendessen einfach nur lecker. Wir können diese Lodge nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder hier einige Tage verbringen.

It was a beautiful property located very close to the game drive. The facilities were above expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and very respectful! If you go on a safari ask for John as he is definitely the animal whisperer!

The rooms, general location and staff were all unreal! However by far the best part of this hotel was the safari these guys put on. The guide Juan really made our trip and have already recommended friends to stay here for him alone. I couldnt recommended this place enough!

The location is amazing, along the Crocodile River and a 15 minute drive to the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park. The room was super spacious with all the amenities you can think of for visitors’ self-catering needs. The game drive was great, staff is friendly, and the hospitality by Basil & Riëtte was top notch!

De lodge was fantastisch. Ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke bedden. Zeer gastvrije host en hostess en heerlijke maaltijden door de hostess bereid. Ook de braai is voortreffelijk. Prima locatie aan de rivier met alle dieren op steenworp afstand. Een aanrader !!

Het enige wat we kunnen verzinnen is dat de badlakens wel erg groot zijn en een maatje kleiner dus handzamer hadden gemogen.

From the moment we arrived we were instantly made to feel welcome by Basil, Riette and the rest of team. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the hosts made you feel part of the family straightaway. The lodge was exceptional, clean, extremely comfortable and beautiful. Having your own outside terrace with all the wildlife literally on your doorstep was magical. The food prepared by the team was phenomenal, we were blown away with the service and hospitality by the whole team. We had 2 game drives with Jaun who was fantastic, really knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure that we had the most memorable time on safari seeing as much of Kruger and its wildlife as we could squeeze in.

Our only regret is not staying longer.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 3 nuits incroyable ! Tout d’abord ce lodge est très bien placé avec une vue sur la rivière qui délimite le parc de Kruger et les animaux sont nombreux à venir nous rendre une petite visite (moments magiques). Le logement est confortable et bien décoré ce qui nous met dans l’ambiance brousse des que l’on arrive. Les safari / game drive organisés sont supers ! (Véhicule, guides, etc) et l’expérience du braai sud africain directement sur le barbecue de notre lodge est une expérience très sympa. Enfin, Riëtte et Basil sont des hôtes incroyables alliant gentillesse, prévenance et bienveillance. Nous recommandons chaudement !

We recommend Foxy Crocodile to anyone visiting the Kruger park! The room was amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the kudu’s and impala’s right in front of you while in the pool is truly unique. We had the game drive with braai, and this was a fantastic experience. The guide/ranger knew a lot, and with his enthusiasm he made the trip even more enjoyable. On top of that, we were able to spot the big five in the first 3 hours. The remaining 5 hours we had incredible sights of all different kind of animals in the wild, while simultaneously respecting that it is their area that we are solely visiting. The braai afterwards was delicious: a perfect way to finish off a perfect stay. Thank you to everyone involved, it was unforgettable!

A truly warm and genuine welcome from everyone! The lodge is beautiful — peaceful, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and even has a private outdoor shower. The wildlife around makes it magical. Ruette and her team are wonderful — kind, caring, and always ready to help. We had a car issue and she immediately assisted us with such kindness and generosity. A service that really stands out!
